We visited Berlin last month (October 2024) and we were delighted to have an exquisite experience at Maharadscha Restaurant. The owners are so passionate and they warmly hosted our group. The food was tasty.... I enjoyed chhole bhature a lot. The ambience is classy and service was fast too. Kudos to the team for delivering taste of India with quality in Berlin. Sending love from Fiji!

The food was really good, Butter naan was a little smaller than in many restaurants, but tasted well. The ambiance of the restaurant and the service were good as well.

First of all, the people, they are very welcoming and generous. Food was quite delicious, not too oily or too spicy, just perfect as it should be. Their special Mango lassi is awesome drink with food. They gave us Rabatt Coupon for next meal. Such a nice people.

We were immediately offered to get more rice if necessary and when it was empty, we were immediately asked if we wanted another portion. The service was very friendly and attentive. Very tasty and high quality food and good portions. Rice can be ordered free of charge. Naan also very tasty and perfectly prepared. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and has a harmonious atmosphere. The highlight is the excellent and attentive service throughout the entire stay. Highly recommended and one of the best Indian restaurants I have had the pleasure of visiting so far.

Terrible, I'm sad to state this, but the only good thing was mango lassi, and rice was ok. We ordered chicken curry soup, I don't know if our order was misunderstood, but what we got was very far away from curry. Chicken was some really tiny cubes, no chicken flavour, no curry flavour, the soup's colour was like strawberry shake? For the mains we took mango chicken and tikka masala. The portions were small, 5 small pieces of chicken that was without any flavour, with consistency as if it was boiled (but not well) - gummy, almost raw - terrible! The sauce...you can buy better at the grocery store. It was like Gerber mousse for kids. Also, all dishes were barely warm. Naan was mediocre, but not terrible. I don't understand so many good opinions!

Service très souriant et très efficace. Cadre agréable et spacieux. La nourriture était vraiment délicieuse et fraîche. Du riz nous a été rapporté une seconde fois gracieusement. Ma fille qui est difficile a adoré le butter chicken. Nous recommandons vivement cet établissement.

We will definitely come back 😋 The food was really delicious. It was pure authentic Indian, and I found it much better than other Indian restaurants in Berlin. The hotness of food can be decided by individual personal taste preferences. The staff (especially the hostess) was very friendly. Will definitely visit again. 😋

Great service—the host was very polite and attentive. The samosas were tasty, light and flaky. We had 6 other dishes and they were all very good, especially the Rogan Josh. I recommend it highly.

Wir haben uns spontan beim vorbei gehen entschlossen etwas da zu trinken. Nach 2-3 Cocktails haben wir noch eine gimischte Vegieplatte bestellt mit einer Art Fladenbrot. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen war sehr Lecker. Beim nächsten mal werden wir auch mal dorf Abendessen

The best Indian restaurant in Berlin, Germany with authentic Indian food and lovely owner as well as staff. It was established 40 years ago in 1984! The food was delicious especially the naan and paneer bhuji (not on card but made on demand).

Lovely location Lovely place and service but food wasn’t as good. I had much better food. Had chicken briani which owner said is special but no it wasn’t good , chicken was like in pieces casually like only leftover chicken pieces was there. And the mix kebab was not good as it wasn’t cooked well on the top and burned underneath and sauce wasn’t absorbed or not marinated well , so not good. I had much better food in other places.

If you wanna have dumb Biriyani make a pre order and enjoy that. They will bring you back to india with the taste

The restaurant gets a clear recommendation from me. My friend and I always call it “the Samoa Place”. because I think they are the tastiest Samoas in the city. Surprisingly, the restaurant is almost always pretty empty. Which I can't understand because the food is really delicious

Indisches Restaurant Maharadscha is a restaurant experience with "the" 5-star winning combination: Beautiful atmosphere, amazing décor inspired by Indian art and music, outstanding Indian veg/non-veg food and exceptional service! Every meal we had was full of flavour and cooked to perfection. I had the best Gulab Jamun I've ever had outside of India (try it if you haven't already). The staff here genuinely care about their guests. They were attentive, courteous, and pleasant. They made us feel like VIPs. Even Vini gifted me 2 boxes of Gajar ka halwa. It was so yummy!! The chana masala was a flavorful delight, with a creamy, tangy sauce, tender chickpeas, and a perfect balance of spices. A hint of sweetness and a warm, aromatic heat made for a truly satisfying dish. The naan bread was fresh and flavorful. The service was attentive and friendly. The ambiance was cozy and traditional. Overall, I'd give it 4.5 stars. Highly recommended for Indian food lovers!"

Unfortunately the curry tasted very strange and not authentic. It's better not to go into the details, but it really wasn't edible. Maybe it was a new chef trying his hand for the first time.

Nice Indian, well located restaurant in Schöneberg. The service was very friendly and joking. The food tasted very good and I was full from a normal portion.

Ordered through Uber eats. By far the best Indian restaurants I've ever tasted. Coming from somebody who has been in India and tried authentic Indian food.
