We were guests here for the European Championships with a group of men (6 men), and I reserved the table well in advance. The confirmation came directly by email. There isn't anything to complain about, the location, the service and the food were all excellent.

A culinary experience in a class of its own! I recently had the pleasure of dining at this steak restaurant and it was simply amazing! The quality of the food was outstanding - the steak was perfectly cooked, tender and full of flavor. The side dishes complemented the dish wonderfully and showed great creativity. Thanks to René and Florian for the work. The drinks menu also left nothing to be desired. The selection of wines and cocktails was impressive and the service was attentive and friendly. Every bite and every sip was a pleasure. Love goes out to Paulina and Markus I highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for an unforgettable dinner. Real attention is paid to the details here, and the results speak for themselves!

It was a great experience. I celebrated a big birthday. The food was first class and so was the service. If I were in a different financial situation, I could be there more often. But that's what made it so special for me. Definitely again!

The schnitzel with the potato salad, that's all you need. Really excellent and I think the best in Hamburg. The other dishes were also very good and high quality. Good selection of wines and drinks. Went here very spontaneously and got a nice table for two (I think all tables there have their charm). The service is professional, friendly, informal and also very charming. All in all, what a great evening, the shop was medium full, the service was friendly enough. The food selection was ready. Overall, we were not convinced by the price-performance ratio despite the typically expensive location.

That was amazing: I'm walking past with my little one, he looks in and sees fresh meatloaf on the counter. So in. But: it was Oktoberfest and buffet, so no individual sales. But then the boss said we should sit down for a moment anyway, cut off a large piece for the little one and gave him a bottle of water. Was super tasty! When we wanted to pay they said: oh come on, that's fine. Wow! That something like this still exists! Thank you so much, it was super cool of you and super tasty

We were really excited. Really very good advice on the meat selection and wine. The service was very attentive and fulfilled every wish. We were even allowed to look at the grill. A familiar atmosphere and a really good exchange with the chef. The meat was amazing and the side dishes were very good. We would be happy to come back next time we visit Hamburg and would be happy to recommend you.

A very nice evening with a great meal. I was able to bridge the short wait for the food with a look into the open kitchen and a conversation with the chef. Thank you for that. The recommended - and also chosen - meat came to the table quickly and the degree of doneness was on point. Far ahead in terms of taste. The side dishes were very tasty and the recommended wine went perfectly with the dish. During the meal, wine was repeatedly poured as soon as a glass was (almost) empty. All in all a very successful evening.

This restaurant features locally sourced meat as well as some US cuts. The steak selection at Metzgers is excellent, with a wide range of cuts. Apart from the steaks available on the menu, the restaurant also offers a tasting version for larger groups where several bigger cuts are cooked to your liking and then cut for sharing. The appetizer menu is good as well, with some fish options and other standard fares. The wine selection is surprisingly limited for a restaurant with such a high quality of food. We lacked some bigger red wines to go with the delicious steaks. The service is excellent. Our waiter was witty and professional throughout, giving great advice on the food and sides. The ambience is great, very cozy inside and outside.

I was a guest today with my pregnant wife. The service was an 11/10 - I have rarely experienced anything comparable. Care was taken to ensure that everything was prepared for a pregnant woman. Relaxed interaction, nice conversations. I don't need to say much about the food. If you're looking for a meat experience like no other, you've come to the right place. The pulpo and the gazpacho were a culinary highlight. A farewell handshake rounded off the service. Thank you very much, we had one of the best date evenings in the past 6 years.

I don't know what has happened in the last few months that the attitude of the service employees has changed so negatively. In the AEZ, the colleague with the facial tattoo almost runs towards me at a sprint and shouts: "We're closed!" (It was only 5 p.m. and there were still 2x2 people sitting in the dining room). If it has to be closed sooner for special reasons, this can be communicated differently/FRIENDLY to new customers. Winterhude location: Denying two new guests a drink at 10:30pm on a Friday evening when you've already had the last round is really sobering. Especially since there were still over 14 guests on site, the kitchen was available online until 11 p.m. and the restaurant until 2 a.m.

Had dinner there on a Saturday evening and it was excellent in every way. The service and also the food were excellent.

Simply a brilliant shop! We were there with ten people and our waiter Andre completely convinced us. We enjoyed the entire range of dishes - from starters to entrees and main courses to dessert. The drinks also left nothing to be desired and the ambience was simply great. The pictures and videos clearly show how well we ate and how much fun we had. We spent about four hours in the restaurant and will be back soon.

Top class winter schnitzel...we had the schnitzel here twice...every time it was great...great patina, well fried, the cucumber salad was great and the thin fries were absolutely top class.. Food was great. Every now and then the service staff was a bit “pushy” with the order. And unfortunately some glasses were cracked or cracked. Suboptimal for customers, as well as for the ambience/reputation. Best to replace it. Everything else was TOP.

The food is good, but why do you have to rent out an illegal model apartment above the restaurant?

Unfortunately the service was really very bad. The side dish for the steak came when the steak was cold when asked. It felt like we were sitting in the storage room (despite having a reservation). The highlight, however, was that we ordered a small schnitzel, but the large schnitzel was charged on the bill. When we asked, we were told that we had to complain about it as soon as we got the schnitzel and that it was a large one. However, there was no number of grams specified nor did we happen to have a kitchen scale with us to determine what it was. So we had to pay for a dish that we hadn't ordered. In summary, unfortunately very poor, inflexible service that is absolutely not appropriate for this price category

Very nice restaurant, nice service and a great selection of US steaks in several cuts. However, nothing for those on a budget. I will never understand why a 0.4 liter beer costs €6. This means that many guests are sure to have one drink.

Nice place. Service was ok, although they tried very cleverly to sell upsales at the table without actually mentioning the price. Meat quality quite good. However, the price is too expensive for me. A small mini pan with 3-4 florets of broccolini for over €15 cannot be justified.

Something very special, gladly again

The food was really to die for! The meat was cooked to perfection and the side dishes were really tasty too! I would give the dessert a 4/5. The Aperol Sour was also brilliant. The service is debatable. Unfortunately totally inattentive to drinks etc. Had to ask again and again several times. At the end we asked other waiters and everything went pretty quickly. In our opinion, the table next to us was served better by the same waiter. We would have expected more service for the price range. All in all, a great restaurant with a great selection of food. Will definitely give it another chance and hope that the service will be better next time.

Hmmm. Somehow very mixed. First of all, let's start with the positive: The starter and the recommended aperitif were great. The steak cuts on offer are sensibly selected and I am particularly pleased that there is a relevant proportion of European meat on the menu. The meat in the main course was also very good, but not the best steak I've ever eaten. Now the but: Unfortunately, all the side dishes were served cold - our complaint was professionally dealt with and of course we received a replacement without any problems. It's still annoying and I just expect that the side dishes at this price level are in no way inferior to the meat (although we found the mashed potatoes and broccolini to be disappointing in terms of taste, even warm, and not appropriately priced). Something went wrong in the service with dessert and wine. Everything was kindly received and fixed. At the price level, that's still a reason for me not to come back. Hamburg simply offers too many good alternatives.

There's steak here, there's good steaks here, there's great steaks here. Anyway, I enjoyed it. Medium RipEye ordered as medium, tends towards rare. The tartare for the starter was great. You can certainly be vegetarian, but then why go to a steakhouse? Good service.

As a rump steak lover, I have to say: Best steak ever! Excellently grilled to perfection. 👌🏻 The wife ate Iberico, which also tasted excellent. Service is very good; friendly, open, accommodating and with the right recommendations.

roulade great. Salt 1 ribeye completely and salt the other a little less. the over-salted portion was charged in full. no sorry no cancellation. Not even 50 grams of that was eaten. .. Our visit was not that pleasant. The tartare beforehand was very good. For the main course we had a tomahawk with various side dishes. The cooking point of the meat was good, but unfortunately the meat was relatively tough. Furthermore, the side dishes (leaf spinach, Manuka carrots, truffled potato gratin and potato slices with truffles and parmesan) were relatively unspectacular and carelessly prepared/presented. The biggest point of criticism is not the food & drinks (4/5 stars), but the service. Since our reservation was forgotten, we had the starter inside the restaurant and were only able to move to the terrace for the main course. The waiter outside not only wore his mask as a scarf, but also constantly greeted other guests outside the restaurant, whom he gave a friendly hug before serving food in the restaurant again. Even after we politely asked whether he could put his mask on properly to protect us and himself, the mask only remained over his mouth for 30 seconds (the nose remained uncovered), after which the mask was used again as a necklace. In addition, the waiter in question loudly complained about our request at neighboring tables and to colleagues. He then spoke to us aggressively several times. Such behavior is inappropriate and completely unacceptable, especially in the current situation. The behavior of the other waiters also left something to be desired. Polite requests for pepper and salt, sauces or ice cubes were answered snidely or simply ignored. We were happy when we left the restaurant, would never go there again and can't recommend it to anyone (unless they want to run the risk of becoming a participant in a superspreader event)!

Wir waren das erste Mal zum Lunch im Metzgers. Da wir bereits häufig Abends dort gegessen haben, waren wir gespannt, was uns bei sehr fairen Preisen für den Mittagstisch geboten wurde. Die Königsberger Klopse waren bei ausreichender Portion sehr lecker. Das Hüftsteak mit Pommes war wie gewünscht gegart, groß genug und schön saftig.

Am 24.06.2022 von 22:00 bis 22:20 Uhr erlebten wir den unfreundlichsten und entwürdigendsten, jemals in einer Gastronomie erlebten, Service! Alle drei anwesenden KellnerInnen des Abends haben uns von der ersten Sekunde an schnippisch und belehrend behandelt. Wir kamen um 22 Uhr zum Restaurant und fragten, den kleineren, kurzhaarigen Kellner am Eingang, ob wir noch etwas essen könnten. Er bejahte dies und wir fragten, welchen Tisch er uns geben möge. Er deutete auf einen Tisch im Inneren und sagte, dass das Pärchen, das auf der Fensterbank säße (die Verbindung zwischen Innen- und Außenbereich) gleich zahlen wolle und wir dann auch diesen Tisch nehmen könnten. Ich bedankte mich für diesen guten Vorschlag. Wir nahmen im Inneren Platz, daraufhin kam die Kellnerin (sehr groß, schlank) und fragte überaus neutral, ob sie uns helfen könne. Wir entgegneten, dass ihr Kollege uns diesen Tisch zugewiesen hätte und wir noch zu Abend essen wollten. Bei ihr gaben wir unsere Getränkebestellungen auf. Eine Minute später kam ein weiterer Kellner (klein, Schnurrbart) und fragte sehr forsch, ob er uns helfen könne. Wir entgegneten, dass der Kollege uns den Tisch zugewiesen hätte, wir gleich noch den Tisch wechseln würden, das Getränk schon bestellt sei und wir noch die Speisen auswählen wollen. Als das Pärchen sich erhob, sind wir schon mal zu dem Tisch rüber und haben uns auf die Bank längs der Fensterbank gesetzt. Dann kam der erste Kellner und hat in einem sehr überheblichen Ton und mit einem vernichtenden Blick gesagt, es sei bei Ihnen nicht üblich, dass sich Gäste an einen nicht abgeräumten Tisch setzen. Ich entschuldigte mich sehr freundlich und deeskalierend und sagte, dass es mir leid tue, falls wir da vorgegriffen hätten, es sei nicht unsere Absicht gewesen, gewohnte Abläufe zu stören, sondern dass wir uns lediglich schon Mal nach draussen setzen wollten, weil der Abend so schön mild sei. Daraufhin habe ich nur einen weiteren bösen Blick erhalten und der Herr räumte wortlos den Tisch weiter ab. Erwähnt sei an dieser Stelle, dass wir ihm beim Abräumen nicht im Weg saßen oder ähnliches, er konnte den Tisch von der anderen Seite bequem in Ordnung bringen. Fünf Minuten später kam die Kellnerin, die es nach unserer 15-minütigen Anwesenheit schaffte zwei Softdrinks in Flaschen zu servieren und dabei nun nicht mehr neutral zu wirken, sondern uns zornig anblickte, um sich schnell umzudrehen, so dass wir unsere Essens-Bestellung nicht platzieren konnten. Sie wandte sich zum Nachbartisch und war dort außerordentlich freundlich und lachte sogar mit den Gästen. Dann kam wieder der kleine Kellner mit dem Schnurrbart zu uns, wir dachten, dass man nun endlich unsere Bestellung aufnehmen wolle.Weit gefehlt, er kam zu uns herüber, um uns, EBENFALLS mit ständigem Kopfschütteln, zu ermahnen, wie unangebracht unser Verhalten gewesen wäre, indem wir uns an den noch nicht abgeräumten Tisch gesetzt hätten. Ich habe dann sehr ruhig entgegnet, dass wir uns als Gast überhaupt nicht wohlfühlen, weil man uns, seit wir das Restaurant betreten haben, belehren und abwertend behandeln würde. Um die Stimmung aufzulockern sagte ich, wir seien gerade angereist und würden doch gerne schöne Eindrücke aus HH mitnehmen, dabei habe ich gelächelt. Daraufhin hat der Kellner laut und schnell wie ein Marktschreier GEBRÜLLT "Willkommen in Hamburg, der schönsten Stadt Deutschlands! Wenn Sie schöne Eindrücke von Hamburg haben wollen kann ich Ihnen nur die Landungsbrücken empfehlen, nach Blankenese zu fahren etc." .. es folgte eine aggressive Salve an Aufzählung der Sehenswürdigkeiten Hamburgs. Als er dann mit einer theatralischen Geste einen Abgang machte, ohne nach unserer Essensbestellung zu fragen, konnten wir nur noch das Restaurant verlassen. Schauten, was die unangerührten Getränke kosten, legten mangels Kleingeld 10€ hin, was leider "Trinkgeld" bedeutete und verließen das Restaurant. Meine Begleitung hatte noch gehört wie ein Kellner den anderen nur fragte "haben die denn bezahlt?" Wir haben schon die ganze Welt bereist, so etwas ist uns noch nirgends zuvor passiert

Wir hatten das Rib in Bone, welches eine fantastische Qualität hatte und auf den Punkt zubereitet war. Daneben hatten wir noch ein Rib Eye welches leider etwas zu rauchig aromatisiert war und für ein Rib eye ein sehr festes Fleisch hatte, die Qualität war dennoch hervorragend. Die Beilagen wie die Baby Möhren und getrüffeltes Kartoffelgratin waren fantastisch. Der Service war etwas langsam, wir mussten sehr lange auf die Karte warten und auch Teilweise auf die Getränke. Das Ambiente ist typisch Winterhude schick, bis auf die Toilettensituation. Gerne wieder :)

Ganz großes Kino für Steak Liebhaber. Wir hatten einen schönen Abend mit einem super Service (Andre) und richtig guten Essen. Wenn wir wieder Mal in Hamburg sind, kommen wir auf jeden Fall wieder.

Sehr gute Speisenqualität, sowohl dir Roh- als auch die verarbeitete Ware. Fleisch auf den Punkt gegrillt und Beilagen auch sehr lecker. Die Trüffelpommes 😍 Der Service war zu Beginn sehr gut. Sehr kommunikativ und sehr gut geschult. Wurde im Laufe des Abends aber etwas unaufmerksam (leere Gläser, Geschirr abräumen). Trotzdem ein total super Besuch, wie kommen gerne wieder!

Fleischqualität war hervorragend, auf den Punkt gegrillt und originell serviert. Herausragend war der Service von Andre. Er lebt die Gastro! Ein wunderbares Steakrestaurant mit toller Fleischqualität und guter Beratung vom Service. Wünschenswert wäre gewesen, wenn zwischen den Gästegruppen ein Tisch frei geblieben wäre, zumal an jenem Abend das halbe Lokal leer war. So saßen wir wir alle eng aufeinander und eine gemütliche Unterhaltung war schwierig.

Als Hamburger sind wir hier Stammgäste . Hier fehlt es an Nichts. Beste Qualität, super Service. Das Ambiente ist gemütlich und sehr modern zugleich. Absolute Empfehlung!

Nicht ganz preiswert, jedoch netter Service und lecker Schnitzel

Selten so fantastisch gegessen. Das Fleisch auf den Punkt und von hoher Qualität, die Beilagen genauso liebevoll zubereitet und gereicht.Nicht nur erstklassig, sondern großartig. Alles hat gestimmt. Das Ambiente gepflegt, offen und übersichtlich. Die Belegschaft durchweg aufmerksam, sehr sehr freundlich. Wir haben uns extrem gut betreut gefühlt und haben den Abend zu 100% genossen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ein Hammer Restaurant. Fantastisches Fleisch

Großartige Location, tolles Service Team, stylisch modernes aber nicht gekünsteltes Ambiente und eine herausragende Produktqualität! Auch sehr toll sind die Drink Variationen. Preislich liegt das Restaurant im oberen Bereich, wenn von der Tafel gewählt wird A la Carte sind die Preise vollkommen in Ordnung.

Top Adresse wer gutes zu schätzen weiß!!! Egal ob essen oder Service alles war hervorragend. Gerne beim nächsten Hamburgbesuch wieder. Es war ein unvergesslicher Abend.

Wir waren heute Abend zum zweiten Mal in der Speisewirtschaft essen und ich muss nun auch unbedingt eine Rezension hier lassen. Das Restaurant ist sehr einladend, mit das beste Steakhaus in dem ich jemals gegessen habe! Die Qualität vom Fleisch ist sehr gut, alle Gerichte sind mit sehr viel Liebe und Detail zubereitet und unser Kellner brannte wirklich für seinen Job! Sehr schönes Restaurant hinter dem sehr viel Liebe zum Detail steckt, daher sind 5 Sterne absolut gerechtfertigt!

Sehr gute Küche mit unserer Vorspeise waren die Wienerschnitzel nur leider viel zu viel wir haben es nicht aufbekommen 👍

1 A spitze, sau gemütlich, der Sauvignon Blanc ist ne klare Empfehlung. André hat sehr gut beraten. Kulinarisch war der Pulpo mit Baba Ganoush absolute Oberklasse!! Großes Lob ans gesamte Team! Vielen Dank!

Achtung, Suchtgefahr! Grandioser Laden - vom Interieur über die gebrandeten Holzbrettchen auf denen serviert wird bis hin zum Service und die qualitativ hochwertigen Speisen - es ist einfach eine 5/5! Sehr empfehlen kann ich das Wagyu vom Grill (mit Freunden zum Teilen) und die legendären Trüffel Fries. Die beiden Jungs an der Bar machen fantastische Drinks und sogar der Kaffee ist lecker! Toller Spot für Geschäftsessen, Dates oder mit Freunden / Schwiegereltern ;) & neuer Lieblingsladen. UPDATE: Eine gute Karte mit Essen & Drinks to vom außen sogar mit Bar & Musik! Hier steckt viel herzblut drin!

Kleines aber sehr feines Lokal, in Hamburg Winterhude. Die Vorspeise und das Steak waren exzellent. Der Service war perfekt. Einen speziellen Dank an Mike, für die kleinen Einblicke in die Küche. Werde auf jeden Fall noch mal die Anreise von gut 360 km auf mich nehmen, um dort einen netten Abend zu verbringen.

Really delicious and very nice service. Only thing is that I found my breaded coat to schnitzel meat a little lacking as there were pockets of air in some bites 🙃 still, enjoyed it and the kartoffelnsalat. For lunch, you can get a ‘half schnitzel’ which is one instead of two pieces and 10€ less

Tolles Restaurant, schönes Ambiente und erst das Essen...hier stimmt das Preis Leistungsverhältnis Alle waren super nett , gingen auf Wünsche ein und gaben auch Empfehlungen ab. Danke für den schönen Abend Wir können euch nur empfehlen

In Hamburg gibt es für mich nur noch ein Steak-Restaurant mit ähnlicher Qualität. Als Liebhaber hochqualitativer Steaks muss man hier gewesen sein. Auch die Beilagen haben überzeugt. Die offene Küche lädt zum Zugucken ein.
