Very good, seasonal and regional cuisine, finely prepared and presented. We had sensational variations of pumpkin, a rather hearty and smoky vegetable soup with kale ravioli, and a damn good duck breast. A Christmas party was taking place at the same time as our visit, which is probably why the intervals between courses were unfortunately unacceptably long. Finally, the price was certainly reasonable for the food and easy to calculate thanks to the staggered courses. We were offered a digestif at the end, but unfortunately, it wasn't mentioned that each one costs €10 – things should have been handled differently, and ultimately, it somewhat detracted from the service. All in all, though, a great evening and highly recommended food.

Why is the Fairmont Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten by far the best hotel in Germany? -> I can honestly answer this question in seconds: Because people with heart work here for their guests and make the seemingly impossible possible with a smile! My wife and I had actually booked a room for December 24th-26th, 2025, and were really looking forward to our stay at the Vier Jahreszeiten. …but unfortunately, my wife fell ill on the night of December 23rd, 2025, and understandably couldn't leave our current hotel, the Fontaney Hamburg, due to her illness. We had to spontaneously extend our stay by one day. So, with a heavy heart, I asked if the Vier Jahreszeiten could cancel our booking, even though this wasn't usually possible on such short notice, and we expressed our understanding. …but unfortunately, my wife fell ill on the night of December 23rd, 2025, and understandably couldn't leave our current hotel, the Fontaney Hamburg, so we had to extend our stay by one day. Within minutes, the Vierjahreszeiten Hotel put our minds at ease and replied: "Today is Christmas, December 24, 2025, so it is our special pleasure to offer you a free cancellation as a small Christmas gift. It's something we truly care about!" A hotel couldn't have more empathy and passion for its guests. This clearly demonstrates why the Vierjahreszeiten has been, and undoubtedly will remain, the best hotel in Germany for decades. Be proud of how you treat your guests, because it is always the people who bring a hotel to life and make it a place of well-being. Therefore, I was delighted to rebook for December 4-6, 2026. Here are a few Christmas impressions from December 24, 2025... as I couldn't resist personally thanking them for their wonderful hospitality!

Papenhuder Str. 26Very good brazilian food, friendly staff and nice envinroment. The picanha was delicious, caipirinha was on the point. As a brazilian, I can reccomend this place!
