It's a great place, the food is delicious, the staff is friendly, the atmosphere is perfect.

Unfortunately, an era came to an end with the change of ownership. 80% of the menu has been deleted, the previously outstanding quality of the food is unfortunately no longer comparable and the best veal ever has been replaced by steak kebab. There's no chicken anymore either. Almost the entire staff is no longer there and enough has been written about the new waiters. Card payments are no longer possible - oh wonder :-) Merkez WAS an institution in Frankfurt. Unfortunately there is nothing left other than the name. It didn't really taste bad, but it wasn't Merkez.

We were spontaneously in Frankfurt and found out about the restaurant via Google. The stars are justified, the food was fresh, the portions were decent and the staff was very nice. Gladly again.

Food was poor. I asked for a mixed doner with chilli sauce and I only got fatty beef with mayo. Plus very aggresive the owner kept my change of €2 and when I asked for it back got very aggressive. Stay away from this place.

They don't accept cards for payment who knows why

Be careful, change of ownership (card payment no longer possible), Adana Kebab poor quality, falafel plate not homemade & from the deep fryer, fries (in the restaurant, not take away) lukewarm and probably from the previous person who didn't eat them?! Ayran is no longer fresh but from the cup. Tavuk Sis was okay (ordered with rice, got fries), dressing with artificial flavor, salad also bad... service very unfriendly.

I was just here late at night after the festivities. I always ate warm soup and it was fine.

Without a doubt the BEST DÖNER IN GERMANY (I have tried several in Berlin, Frankfurt etc.)!!! The beef is very delicious, the bread tastes incredible - like it just came out of the oven and the sauce has good seasoning! Very attentive and friendly service.

The portions are generous and the employees are friendly. The restaurant is overall clean and the restrooms are comfortable. The food is a bit salty.

Everything was fine, but nothing special. The service wasn't necessarily very nice, everything was just brought and picked up in silence. The prices were a bit too high, 10 euros for a kebab is a bit excessive. Generally, you can eat something there, but I wouldn't want to go there again.

I have never eaten such a boring dürüm in my entire life. It had no seasoning at all and just tasted like nothing. My wife ordered a cheeseburger, but only got a hamburger because they were supposed to have run out of cheese. For a small order it took 20 minutes. The restaurant was only moderately busy, which I can tell from the fact that the inside of the restaurant was empty and most of the guests ate outside. At the end I was still supposed to pay for a cheeseburger even though it wasn't served. According to my wife, the burger didn't taste like anything special and the bread was a little soggy. I ate there for the first and last time. The 29 euros and the time there was absolutely wasted.

I had an Adana plate > The meat was completely full of gristle and not tasty at all!!! Very little rice that tasted expired. The food was terrible and not recommended. Thanks for nothing

The kebab plate was delicious and is definitely worth a visit if you are near Frankfurt Central Station. The staff was also very nice. I can highly recommend this kebab shop.

Everyone was served tea & I expected the same for me. However the waiter said it’s not free. 9€ kebeb sandwich was okay types but certainly not worth for the price

If you want good Turkish food, sitting in a restaurant and well served, it is definitely my recommendation in Frankfurt

Not recommended, won't come a second time

The shittiest restaurant I've been to in recent years, don't come here, it's a waste of your money.

Unfortunately the meat was raw. Doner kebab had lettuce, tomatoes and yoghurt sauce. That for 9.50 is a disgrace. I hope I don't get food poisoning tomorrow.

Clean with nice ambience if you want to get off the street for awhile. Staff was very friendly. Ordered donner veal with bulgar and salad. It was amazing.

It is rather tasty and beautiful also cheap with a satisfying size. I would visit again for the food. 29 mixed starter platte is delicious but a bit salty with soft bread.

When a rude waiter who did not speak Turkish told me that there was no payment by card, I offered to call the police. Then he took payment by card. I have never seen such rudeness. If you don't want your stomach to be upset, don't come here.

The waiters can be very angry if you dont give any tip. Also, service is coming about 50 minute if restaurant is crowded. Staff must be trained about dialogue.

Wasn't happy with the food and left a 2 star review. It was deleted by the owner. Hence now 1 star. The true rating of this restaurant will probably be much worse if reviews are deleted...

Went for a quick bite and ended up waiting over 15 minutes for just 2 wrap shawarmas. The service was really slow, which was a bit disappointing.

In addition to kebab-type meals, you can also enjoy Turkish sweets. I went to eat several times, but the Turkish pizza was the most delicious♪

In the heart of Frankfurt, near the main train station, you can get delicious Turkish food. We really enjoy eating there.

The food was delicious, but the service was very poor, he was unsympathetic, and in my opinion, the waiter, who said he was experienced, acted according to his own wishes, not according to what any of his customers wanted. For example, he was lifting the plate to take it without your permission. When we went as a group, we all had to pay separately, but in his opinion, it was like a quiet family went. He cut the whole bill and got angry at us when we told him that everyone would pay the bill himself and said, "We need to tell him first" to cover his own mistake. He knew that he said "I won't do it" so as not to have to deal with everyone separately. He said, "There is no boss, it is impossible to reach him" and brushed us off. I As a Turk, I was embarrassed by my foreign colleagues for recommending me. Since it was a business dinner, we all had to pay separate bills and report it to our boss, but all the fault was left to me just because the gentleman did not fulfill his duty properly. I hope this situation will be resolved....

Not only was the quality of the food inedible, but the waiting time for a portion of rice was a shocking 20 minutes. After ordering a portion of rice that was inedibly hard, and also ordering kebab whose meat was of extremely poor quality, I feel compelled to leave you an honest review. It is unacceptable that a restaurant that describes itself as professional serves such substandard products to its customers and also endures intolerably long waiting times. This experience greatly disappointed my expectations of your restaurant and I will certainly not return here again. The service is zero. They don't even look at your face. As someone who has never written a review for anything in my life, this place is really very poor quality and they throw away the food in front of them.

Wir sind mehrere Jahre alle 2 Wochen da gewesen und haben meistens den Vorspeisenteller für 2 Personen bestellt. Es war immer super lecker gewesen. Wir waren gerne da. Auch die Kellner waren immer sehr nett. Bis vor ein paar Wochen plötzlich der Vorspeisenteller zum gleichen Preis in der Menge halbiert wurde. Das ist eine Preissteigerung um 100%. So vertreibt man seine Stammgäste. Hätte man den Teller einfach etwas teurer gemacht, wäre es ok gewesen. Schade, aber das war dann wohl das letzte Mal wir es waren.

Actually very tasty food, especially the meat is really great. Unfortunately, the portions shrink every time I go. I'm a medium-good eater and now I really can't get enough of a kebab anymore. You could almost compare it with a large sandwich. Yes, of course, everything is becoming more expensive. I've already accepted the fact that you now pay €9 for a kebab with cheese. This is also the case with other kebab shops, but at least the portion size doesn't shrink when the price increases.

In contrast to most kebab snack bars, the Kebab House in Frankfurt's train station district is a restaurant with cozy furnishings and service instead of self-service and snack bar character. The kebab plate was delicious, the fries were nice and the meat was very tasty. In terms of price it was comparable to the neighboring kebab shop, but with the service and atmosphere, that's why I prefer this restaurant.

Service war sehr gut - super schnell und nett. Essen war eher Durchschnitt...Habe schon besser türkisch gegessen. Was sehr unangenehm war....haben dort gegessen und meine Klamotten haben danach komplett nach Fett gerochen. Das Restaurant scheint nicht gelüftet zu werden.

Ich war schon oft am Wochenende gegen 2 Uhr am Morgen dort im Restaurant essen. Alles top!

Ich glaube ich gehe da schon seit mindestens 15 Jahren hin wenn ich in Frankfurt bin . Egal was man isst - absolut gut und frisch zubereitet . Einfach Klasse !

Das ist definitiv ein Ort, den ich nicht uneingeschränkt empfehlen kann. Die Preise sind wirklich überzogen, und die Qualität entspricht einfach nicht dem, was man erwartet. Das Ärgernis, dass Kartenzahlungen erst ab 10€ akzeptiert werden, ist wirklich frustrierend. Das ist heutzutage wirklich ein No-Go. Ich gebe dem Laden großzügig 2 von 5 Sternen, aber nur weil das Essen einigermaßen gut schmeckt. Statt ständig die Preise zu erhöhen, sollten Sie dringend am Service arbeiten und zeitgemäße Zahlungsmöglichkeiten anbieten. Wir schreiben schließlich das Jahr 2023, da fühlt man sich dort wirklich wie in der Steinzeit...

Die Dönerbox ist unterirdisch schlecht! Nur wenige Pommes, trockenes Fleisch und eine fade Joghurtsoße, kein Salat. Und dafür 8,50 € - viel zu viel! Trotz des schicken Ambientes keine Empfehlung!

Ich gehe schon seid 15 Jahren hin aber seid Corona andere Mitarbeiter seid dem schmeckt das Essen nicht wie damals und dönner Teller mit Getränke 18.90 Euro zu teuer

Essen war echt lecker. Das seht man vielleicht auf den Fotos nicht... aber... da habe ich 2 Fleischsorten - Kalb und Hähnchenfleisch bekommen dazu und Pommes und noch Reis und noch Salat und großes Stück Brot dazu. Alles war super lecker. Sonst Menü hat riesen Auswahl an diversen Speisen. Aucg tolle Desserts haben die hier Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen. Echt super gegessen.

Worauf es wirklich ankommt, ist das Essen und es hat geschmeckt. Mitten im Zentrum. Die Ambiente kann natürlich nicht großartig veränderbar sein. Für einen Ausflug und anschließendes Essen optimal geeignet.

Freundlicher, schneller Tischservice mit ansprechendem Ambiente und umfassender Speisenauswahl. Es wird versucht den üblichen Döner Kebab auf ein gastronomisches Niveau zu heben, was mitunter auch klappt. Nur leider erzielen die angerichteten Speisen nicht die Wirkung welche man in der (rohen) Auslage erwartet. Geschmacklich fehlt immer eine Nuance zur Perfektion. Auch sollte Grillgemüse auch wirklich gegrillt sein. Somit bleibt noch mächtig Luft nach oben, auch wenn das Ambiente bereist in der oberen Liga mitspielen möchte.

Ich gehe seit über 30 Jahren in diesen Laden , war aber schon seit 3-4 Jahren nicht mehr da. Euer Fleisch ist sehr trocken das Brot nicht fluffig, eine Schande was ihr mit euren Namen macht !! Diese drei Sterne sind auch nur weil ich schon so lange Kunde bin, vielleicht ist es auch nicht mehr der selbe Inhaber. Ich hoffe das hier liest auch der Inhaber nicht nur die Kunden. War schon des öfteren hier. Die Qualität ist sehr gut. Das Fleisch ist immer auf den Punkt genau gegrillt. Die Portionen waren nicht zu groß. Der Service war sehr freundlich. Nach dem essen gab es noch Tee. Einzigen Negativen Punkte sind bei gewissen Speisen merkt man das es einen Kochwechsel gabs und es ist etwas teurer als der durchschnitt. Der Laden ist an sich sehr groß und bieten auch viel Platz. Was für große Gruppe sehr geeignet ist.

Schnellrestaurant in der Nähe vom Bahnhof. Sauber und modern eingerichtet. Döner schmeckt. Salat sehr frisch.

Der Adana Kebab war gut, an dem Service und der Ambiente könnte man noch einiges besser machen.

Uno de los mejores kebab de frankfur la verdad muy bueno hay mucha variedad de kebab y de toda típica comida turca es muy bueno todo así que recomiendo mucho este sitio son muy amable y atentos claro que es típico turco la calidad es de 10 si vienes a frankfur ven a probarlo no te decepcionará

Ich war vor kurzem mit meinen Kollegen gegen 01:00 Uhr nachts in Frankfurt unterwegs und wir hatten einen kleinen Hunger. Zum Glück haben wir das Merkez Restaurant gefunden, und es war der perfekte Ort, um eine Suppe zu genießen. Das Ambiente war angenehm und einladend, und das Personal war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Auswahl an Suppen war groß, und wir waren beeindruckt von der Qualität der Zutaten und dem Geschmack. Es war genau das, was wir brauchten, um unsere Energiereserven aufzufüllen. Wenn Sie also spät in Frankfurt unterwegs sind und eine warme und köstliche Suppe suchen, kann ich das Merkez Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen!

Nice Turkish place with treat foods

Eigentlich bester Dönerladen den ich in Frankfurt kenne. Das Essen ist mega lecker und das Ambiente wirklich schön und sehr angenehm dort etwas zu essen. Beim Dönerfleisch kann man zwischen dem normalen und dem Hähnchenfleisch variieren. Ich komme mindestens einmal die Woche hierher und kann es sehr empfehlen.
