Best kebab I've eaten so far. Recommended by a friend in Frankfurt. You're missing out if you don't go.

I've been a regular customer since 2016, and I always enjoy eating the kebab. I've also experienced it when it was cheap, and now it's gotten more expensive. If you're hungry, you can rely on it.

Delicious kebab, but unfortunately no/barely any seating. At €10, it's also expensive.

The meat was really delicious and the bread was nice and crispy. However, I would have liked a bit more seasoning. What really bothered me, though, was that the salad was prepared without gloves and with a bandage on the finger – it looks absolutely unhygienic, regardless of whether it was cucumber, tomato, or lettuce. For a kebab that costs a whopping €10, I honestly expect more cleanliness and care.

Mad. The lamb meat is exquisite and is the clear star of the Döner. Every bite has a slight crisp/browning to it, which makes it tasty without needing to use much seasoning. And the meat also has incredible marbling - almost a buttery fattiness, which shows how great the meat is here compared to your average Dönerladen. On the pricier side, sure, but worth it. Impulsive bought this one after a full meal, but I did not regret it one bit.

Very unfriendly and very aggressive. The employee tried to hit me because he accidentally made hot sauce, and I told him I was allergic. He didn't want any more. I said I didn't want any more. He tried to hit me and I'm going to take legal action.

Homemade durum tortilla, generally too salty and with too much garlic. Average durum. €10, huge (for two people). There are no tables to sit on, and the closest thing is a children's playpen or a homeless person's bench. To get to the bathroom, you have to go through the kitchen. I wouldn't recommend it.

THE SMALLEST Döner in the world and it costs 10€, simply outrageous!

Simply fantastic! We visited Köylü Döner in Frankfurt-Sachsenhausen on a recommendation – and it was absolutely the right decision. Freshly prepared food, perfect seasoning, two large skewers (one almost empty – a sign of quality!), and a true explosion of flavor. I'd especially like to highlight the super-friendly team: very friendly, helpful, and incredibly patient, even though they were busy. The salads and sauces were constantly being refilled – you can tell they put their heart and soul into their work. Definitely one of the best kebab shops in Frankfurt – I'll be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I've been eating kebabs for about 40 years now, and it's still the best kebab in Frankfurt, in my opinion.

I went there for the first time yesterday, and it was one of the best lahmacun I've ever eaten. I especially recommend getting it with the garlic sauce.

The food here has remained consistently good quality for over two decades and, for me, is the best in Frankfurt. However, the prices have now been raised twice within a year, reaching the ten-euro mark, which makes you think twice about whether you want to pay that much. If some greedy, newcomer kebab shops hadn't started charging €10 for a kebab, they most likely wouldn't have gone along with it either, but this negative trend is just there, which in turn means that children and adolescents can no longer afford a meal for everyone. Even adults are considering these prices, whether they should still go there, or even go less often or not at all. That's why I'll be coming only twice a month instead of at least once a week. But the fault doesn't lie with me, but with those who created this monster. And unfortunately, those are the owners, who will suffer the consequences of false marketing.

Besides six standing places, there are only two seats, but the doner kebab is the best in Frankfurt. Hand-stitched veal skewer made from chops and veal ribs. And it tastes just like that. A poem. The staff are also nice. The boss showed me how the skewer was freshly placed. That's transparency. The meat smells and tastes unique. Almost everyone I've recommended it to agrees.

One of the best doner kebabs I've ever eaten, especially the homemade fresh doner meat and the doner bread, which I find very special. Some people might not like the fact that the doner kebab doesn't have much flair and that the doner meat overpowers it, but for me, that's exactly what truly distinguishes an authentic, classic doner kebab...

Bester Lahmacun in Frankfurt <3

It was very, very good although a little expensive (they're 7€ across the street but idk if those are better). These are huge and very taste

Everything was wonderful, the bread was very well made, the meat was delicious. The staff was very friendly. While you're walking around Saschenhausen, stopping here is a great idea.

The doner kebab used to be reasonably priced. Now, at €10, it's simply not good enough; there are much better options! A very ordinary doner kebab, nothing special, and therefore far too expensive.

The food was reserved with hair, two hairs. It tasted like a soggy rag, but it was good.

I ordered a kebab and received a surprise egg - full of cartilage surprises. Eight of them, I counted! The portion? Just about enough for a toddler on a diet. However, the price is for adults with high earners. If I feel like going to the dentist again, I'll come back. Otherwise: Thanks for nothing, Köylu.

It tasted very good, a bit small but still worth a visit

Every time you visit Frankfurt it is a “must” to eat a kebab or lahmacun or even a baklava here. The quality of the meat, vegetables and dough has been the same for decades - mega!!! Simply super delicious. There is no better kebab snack bar in Germany! The staff is always friendly and helpful ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Not the best donner kebab as Mark wins said. Just tried it . Too much dry . No toilet service. No seating service. Prices are expensive also .

Döner is very good. It is one of the best meats you can eat in Germany. Celebrities have also come here in take away form. I recommend it.

for me the best kebab It is served immediately after preparation, which means the meat is not shock cooled! which is very, very rarely impossible and you can taste it!! Garlic sauce is awesome!!!!

We ordered a kebab and also a lahmacun kebab, much too dry and very little meat was put into the kebab and it also cost 9€. The best thing was that we were eating there and suddenly a rat came out of the kitchen and hid behind the refrigerator. When we pointed this out to the employee, he replied that she had come from outside and that it was the most normal thing in the world.

Some people I don't understand!! Maybe eaten kebab for the first time in your life?? What I heard about Köylüm, I immediately went to get the best kebab to Frankfurt, the food had become a negative experience with a shock-like surprise after reported feedback, so unfortunately no good experience, it is minced meat kebab with a totally directionless taste, I didn't feel any meat between my teeth, I needed salt, pepper, hot peppers so that mouth flora comes back. At the first bite we looked at each other to see what it was supposed to be, there were false resonances... of course.

Doner meat from the previous day was sold, it smelled and it wasn't edible. When entering the shop, the unpleasant smell of rotten meat was noticeable. Not recommended.

One of the best kebabs I've ever eaten. The meat is absolutely amazing and is always fried to perfection. The meat tastes great and it is always cut by hand. The bread is fluffy and has a great taste. The sauces don't have much flavor but you don't need that since the meat is the main player in the flavor. I drive an extra 100 km here to enjoy my kebab. Keep it up!

I have no idea how some of the bad reviews come about! I've been getting my kebab or lahmacun here for OVER 40 years, owners have changed and the quality is still great. If the homemade GARLIC sauce tastes too much like garlic, you should probably not order GARLIC sauce, but yoghurt sauce! The hot sauce is delicious! The meat skewer is homemade and not from the kebab industry. The spice shakers on the counter have always been there. Top! I'm happy to pay a little more - apart from the fact that cheap poultry meat is no longer cheaper anywhere else. Still: The best kebab far and wide! One gets the impression that the bad reviews are being spread by the surrounding competition, which has recently set up shop opposite or nearby. The kebab or lahmacun at Köylü has always been equally good for decades (!!!)! That's how long a store has to last. The size is just right, always homemade from beef - for me there is no alternative in Frankfurt that even comes close to Köylü quality! Point!

A kebab with extra meat was ordered to take away for €12. Even though I ordered it with "a little garlic sauce", I received a mixture of the red sauce and garlic sauce, which ended up being very soggy. In addition, despite the extra meat, it was really small and I would have expected more in terms of taste. The competition on the other side of the bridge has much more to offer, both in terms of quality, quantity and taste.

Popular kebab place in frankfurt recommended by Mark Weins. Kebab really is delicious, they also have chilli flakes and cumin on the side that you can additionally to your food, which really elevates the flavour in my opinion. The flatbread is quite messy to eat though, easier if in a wrap.

Unfortunately, the kebab is very small overall, the bread wasn't crispy, the sauces taste bad and the salad wasn't fresh. Meat was also more bad than good. Unfortunately disappointing. The price is even more expensive than the competition that is within walking distance.

By far the absolute WORST kebab I have ever eaten. Can't understand the positive comments. Totally tasteless and very greasy. Regret finishing eating. Afterwards, nausea in my stomach and a headache. A case for the health department.

Was hit on my face with a kebab and my order wasn't taken, the shop is not reputable

I ordered a portion of kebab meat for €10 and only got a mini bowl. That was 200g at most. The meat itself is also way too seasoned. The next day I had to spit up and had trouble using the toilet. I'll never go to such a bad and overpriced kebab again.

Always nice to be here. The best kebab in Frankfurt for years. I don't know of any other kebab that has always remained the same with such steadfast confidence. Everyone else can pack up. The shop has become extremely run down and doesn't look very inviting anymore, the only negative point

I used to really like the store, but the prices for what you get delivered are now completely surreal. The bread is greasy, the salad is not fresh and the meat has too many spices added to it. The staff doesn't seem particularly motivated and the cleanliness is anything but acceptable.

I am a regular at this kebab shop and come here regularly because it is simply the best kebab in town! The meat is always fresh and grilled to perfection, the sauces taste fantastic, and the ingredients are always fresh and crunchy. I particularly appreciate the quality and consistently high standards – no matter when I come, it always tastes great. The team is super friendly, already knows me by name and always ensures fast and pleasant service. The portions are generous and the price-performance ratio is just right. For me, this shop has long been more than just a snack bar - it is an integral part of my week. Absolutely recommended!

Recommendation for the vegetarian kebab. Very good "meat substitute" in the form of a vegetable patty. Good idea, tasted very good. I've never had a better vegetarian kebab for just 6.50 euros

My man plated my number 7 gemischter teller like it was Michelin. The doner tasted like my unc back in Turkey grilled himself. We have tried doner across Germany but nothing slapped harder. To top it off, he blessed us with the juciest baklava known to man.

For the first time ı tried Turkish doner with lahmacun (Turkish pizza) and it was an amazing taste. Portion was huge and taste was very delicious. Staff was very kind and friendly. Prices very good compared to that big portion.

I ate kebab number 13! It's my first time seeing such a proper kebab. It's the perfect combination of fresh vegetables + spicy meat + not-too-excessive sauce + tortilla on the outside. It's not too salty and the portions are really plentiful and delicious. It's a shame that there aren't enough tables to sit and eat because the store is cramped, but the staff are really helpful. It was friendly and nice!

We have always been there very often, always taking on the 60km and today unfortunately for the last time. Doner kebab 9€ and you can look for the meat, we are more than disappointed. Unfortunately we won't be coming anymore from today. A pity .

We realized that we chose the right place to have a doner kebab at Frankkurt, where we went as tourists. They made us feel like we were in Turkey with their service, smiling faces and treats. We were very pleased. We would like to thank our masters very much.

When I eat döner in Frankfurt, I go to Köylü-Döner. Not because it is the best in Frankfurt, but because it is the best I have ever had. I travel a lot and tried many döners. But the best you get here. Sometimes I walk 1 hour to get here and it is worth is. Thank you and see you next time!

Great place. Food was very unique. Saw this place on YouTube and just had to try it. Nice easy walk from old town. We did make a mistake and ordered before checking to see if they took American $ or debit/credit, which they don't. They accepted greenbacks, but if you go there, I recommend bringing German currency.

This is the best döner spot in all of Frankfurt. I live on the other side of the city (Messe), but I come here for a döner regularly. The lamb is exquisite and crispy. The best way to have your döner is with all the toppings and extra spicy (it won’t be too spicy). The baklavas are also solid. The people who work here are really nice. They open every day and stay open until late.

Every time we come to Germany (we stay for about a week), I visit at least 2-3 times. It is a very nice place that has really given a different meaning and style to döner and cannot even be imitated, and has been doing the same job in the same place for 40-45 years. There are two types: bread spread and lahmacun sandwich, I recommend you to try both. By the way, it is also very affordable in terms of budget. In summary; I highly recommend

For me the best kebab in Frankfurt and I've eaten a lot of them. Here the skewer is made by hand and you don't get a Berlin minced meat rotisserie kebab style. There is still real kebab here.

Anyone who knows a little about doner kebab would never eat that doner kebab on the weekend. We asked for wrap, they put it in lahmacun, we warned, but the friend claimed it was wrap bread. Unfortunately, the doner kebab was not cooked and the spices reminded me of sausage. It is impossible to finish the bread in front of this taste.
