Nice decor with lots of plants. The dishes were so unsatisfactory that we didn't even want to pack up the leftovers and take them with us. The prices of the food are premium, but the quality is definitely not. The expectations of the food due to the prices were significantly higher and therefore extremely disappointing.

We were there last night, it was an unforgettable night for us. We had fun with the girls, the service, food and atmosphere were great. AYKUT JANKAT did not disappoint us with his wide repertoire and sang every song. He had songs outside the repertoire played during breaks. I think movement was king. In terms of price and performance, it was in a class that competed with Cahide or Günay restaurants. A place exactly what Düsseldorf needs. 10 stars for everything 🌹🙏

The service was very friendly, but the wine advice could only explain the difference between red and white wine. The cold and warm starters were really good and worth going for. A below-average rating is due to the carelessly put together pasta dishes. The gnocchi were overcooked and carelessly seasoned, and the pasta dishes were also too soft and carelessly over-seasoned. The free intermediate course, a mixed and well-balanced salad and also the dessert plate (fruit and sweet pastries) were nice. False start. Apparently the restaurant was supposed to be open all day today (01/30/25). But when we wanted to eat there at 12:25 p.m., not only the door to the restaurant was closed, but also the door to the hotel. There was no one to be seen either. Unfortunately, our visit to the Mediator restaurant was anything but satisfactory. Although we had high expectations due to the high prices and ambience, these were disappointed in many ways. We had reserved for 7 people, but were given a table for 6. Instead of an appropriate solution, an additional chair was simply placed at the head, where a large table leg made the sitting position extremely uncomfortable (see photo). Despite multiple references to the problem, the waiters reacted unfriendly and not very understanding. We were even told that other guests had “normal reservations” even though we had also booked in advance. In addition, cloth napkins were damaged and had holes in them - a detail that is completely unacceptable in a restaurant of this price range. The choice of drinks and food was also disorganized: the waiter initially claimed that there was no Lugana, but then brought a bottle that was not chilled. At a price of just under 50 euros per bottle (15 euros per glass), this is simply unacceptable. There was also confusion with the menu: at first it said there was no pasta, but later it was available. The dishes themselves were also disappointing. For example, the Gnocchi Sorrentina, which is offered as a vegetarian dish for 25 euros, was neither tasty nor lovingly prepared. We also ordered several menus that cost around 50 euros per person. These menus included a starter, main course and a dessert – which sounded promising. Overall, the starter and main course were okay, but it was disappointing that the dessert only consisted of sliced ​​fruit. The space in the restaurant was extremely cramped. The neighboring tables were so close that the guests were almost sitting on our laps. (Photo) In addition, the waiter regularly bumped into our table when serving at the neighboring table and even placed drinks and food from neighboring tables on ours in order to serve them. Overall, the store was far too crowded. More guests were constantly being accepted and the tables were constantly being moved to make room. This led to an even more chaotic atmosphere and an extremely uncomfortable experience. Another issue was the sanitary facilities: two toilets lacked toilet paper, there was no soap, and the lights flickered. Such conditions are unacceptable in a high-priced restaurant. One bright spot was the live music, which was okay, but not enough to make up for the numerous deficiencies. Conclusion: It's absolutely fine for a restaurant to charge high prices - as long as the appropriate quality and service are offered. But just because a restaurant offers expensive dishes does not automatically make it an exclusive and beautiful experience. Unfortunately, nothing was right here: from the damaged napkins to the unfriendly service to the loveless food presentation. In addition, the prices online were shown to be cheaper than on site - a detail that gives you the feeling that you are being treated in a non-transparent manner. Unfortunately, it seems as if the restaurant owner is only interested in making a profit by accepting more and more guests without paying attention to quality or guest satisfaction. The price-performance ratio is not right here at all. Given the atmosphere, the poor organization and the lack of attention to detail, you don't feel valued as a guest - and under such circumstances you are also unwilling to pay such prices. Unfortunately no recommendation from us.

Very nice location, food very tasty

We went there to eat on a Saturday three weeks ago. The food is overpriced. The service was good and the music was amazing. We'll never go there again. The quality of the food was initially better when I ordered a meat plate. I don't want to have a chicken breast in between.

Not recommended!!! Confirmed reservation for Saturday evening via the fork with yums. Arrived and was rejected with the "reason" "there was live music today, so the boss had decided that Yum's use wouldn't work". Unbelievable! Ambiance: special...very loud...more likely only for the Turkish community...the boss obviously only wants to cater to them. Normal guests are probably not welcome. Never again!!!

The food was really delicious, the atmosphere is very cozy. There was a delicious starter. Nuts in between and a greeting from the house as dessert, all free of charge. The waiter Metin was super nice to us. Thank you for that.

Catastrophic. Quantity, absolute ripoff. Were there with 4 people. Very small starter plate, 12 prawns (110€). White wine bottle, 2 glasses of wine, 3 Cola, 2 Fanta (100€). In other words, for eating something that doesn't taste good, inattentive waiters, serving up a bill of €210. Never again, absolute rip off. I gave them the bill and money and I'm very happy they're not here anymore. Shame on you! It's better to eat where it's real and honest and not ripped off like that.

We were there with a company department and will not come again. Price/performance ratio a disaster. Smallest meat dishes for well over €30, all presented in a tattered cardboard menu like from a snack bar. And when it comes to the bill, you have to make sure that you don't get overcharged! Given the number of reviews here that have experienced the same thing, the question arises as to whether this already has a system. The gin and tonic was an imposition.. Ikea water glass, with non-carbonated tonic + something alcoholic, which felt like it wasn't gin. Presented with a colorful cardboard straw and a whole ice cube... €12 for that is a disgrace. The overpriced wine will probably be tetra pack wine and was not only bad, but also unchilled.. €9 a glass. The food ranged from "quite good" to "I can't eat it". The portions were so small that we then considered whether we should get something from a snack bar. Paying more than €30 per dish is a blast. Only the ambience and service were quite good. Even if some dishes, drinks etc. offered were no longer available. All in all, I can only say that the really nice ambience here is a distraction from the actual atmosphere. Far too expensive for the quality, food tasted ok, portions far too small and terrible drinks.

Very pleasant atmosphere We were there on a Friday evening. In keeping with the Turkish cuisine and the ambience, there was also live music, which made the whole thing a special evening. Very tasty cold and warm starters served with fresh flatbread and several different fruit plates. Free parking directly under the property. Slightly higher prices than in a usual restaurant of this class. However, it is worth every euro just because of the service and the very attentive staff. We will definitely go there again.

Yesterday I was there with another 8 people to celebrate my girlfriend's bachelorette party. We were really disappointed. From food to service, a complete disaster. The biggest hit was that we received a bill for the starter that was calculated for 6 people. However, we received a starter plate that was only for a maximum of 2 people. That means a cold starter with 6 dips and bread + a warm starter. After we had mentioned this and were able to substantiate it with facts, we were visited again by the waiter who then told us that he had spoken to the boss and that the bill was actually wrong! Instead of 90 euros, the starter platter would have only cost 40 euros. We got our money back. 3 of the visitors ordered gnocchi and they weren't eaten because it didn't taste good. This was reported to the manager/boss? Addressed. He just laughed and told us “after all, we were in a Turkish restaurant and should have some Turkish food.” ” How can you make such a statement? Since when can the customer be responsible for what he has ordered for dinner if it is finally offered on the menu! My advice is to take the Italian dishes off the menu! And treats customers like kings.

One of the group wanted to have a coffee and was told that it wasn't possible at the moment because the counter was too busy because they were offering alcohol service. If you wanted to order something you had to wait 10-15 minutes. The big hit was we wanted the bill from the waitress and she said I'd have a smoke first and then I'd bring you the bill. The bill came at some point and we wanted to pay separately, some in cash and some with the debit card, and she said no, that wouldn't work, scraping the money together in cash. She insisted on it and after a few minutes of discussion, she had the debit device brought and collected. The prices on the bill were not consistent with the prices on the menu and there was always an additional charge. And after we wanted a reasonable invoice, there wasn't one and we weren't issued one for whatever reason. The invoice only came on a self-written sheet. Didn't even want a receipt for entertainment😅 What we needed. Once and never again! Not recommended, there are better ones in the class.

We were a larger group and the lady welcomed us very nicely. Unfortunately, service was terrible. Food was forgotten and grill plates made entirely of lamb meat were uncostly. Since we didn't drink any alcohol, the lady couldn't bring us coffee because the counter was busy. The big deal was the lady was so rude when paying because we wanted to pay individually. And some etc. That said, you can't scrape together the money as if we were the customers next door. Our jackets weren't brought to us afterwards and we weren't wished a nice evening. When she asked for an invoice, she said that she couldn't do that either. Once and never again.

Very very nice restaurant with a unique atmosphere. The decor is elegant and clean with an open kitchen. Our waiter Redzep gave us a very warm welcome. We felt so comfortable. Das Weihnachtsessen in diesem Restaurant war ein wahrer Genuss! Die festliche Atmosphäre, gepaart mit exquisiten Gerichten und aufmerksamem Service, hat unsere Feier zu etwas Besonderem gemacht. Ein unvergesslicher Abend, der die festliche Freude perfekt eingefangen hat. Wir werden definitiv wiederkommen! Wir kommen gerne wieder!!!

Die Bedienung war freundlich und aufmerksam. Nettes Ambiente. Aber zu viele lange Tische. Sehr enge Gänge. Es sah alles so aus wie gewollt aber nicht gekonnt. Kalte Meze-Vorspeise-Teller und die Suppe waren lecker. Der Hauptgang war miserabel. Die Dorade schmeckte überhaupt nicht. Der Geschmack war fad. Ich habe die Hälfte auf dem Teller gelassen. Die Präsentation des Tellers war lieblos mit 2 kleinen Kartoffelstückchen Broccoliröschen und völlig verwelkt erschlafften Rucolablättern von Vortag. Und dafür 29,50€ zu verlangen ist schlichtweg unverschämt. Bei der Hygiene und stilvollen Abläufen mangelt es. Es gab zwischenzeitlich unangenehme Gerüche. Ob sie aus der Küche oder Theke (Kühlschrank) kamen, weiß ich nicht. Wir waren an einem Samstagabend dort. Es gab Live-Musik mit einem türkischen Sänger. Es war unfassbar laut wie bei einer türkischen Hochzeit. Ich konnte meine eigene Worte nicht verstehen. Es war sehr unangenehm. Ich wollte unbedingt nach Hause. Fazit: mein Besuch bei Mediator wird sich nicht wiederholen.

Ein wirklich sehr gutes Restaurant. Erstklassige Küche, vorbildliche Bedienung und sehr angenehme Umgebung. Hier schmeckt nicht nur das Essen, man möchte auch nicht mehr aufstehrn, sondern noch lange verweilen und die tolle Atmosphäre genießen. Kann es jedem nur wärmstens empfehlen, der auf die gehobene Kklinarische Küche Wert gibt.

Meine Erfahrung in diesem Restaurant war leider enttäuschend. Bei meinem Besuch an einem gut besuchten Samstagabend war die Hälfte der Speisekarte nicht verfügbar, was auf eine schlechte Speisevorbereitung hinweist. Das von mir gewählte Gericht entsprach nicht meinen Erwartungen, sowohl in Bezug auf die Portionsgröße als auch auf den Geschmack. Die Dorade war geschmacklich nicht überzeugend, und die begrenzte Beilage von nur 2 Rosmarinkartoffeln bei den hohen Preisen war enttäuschend. Der Service war ebenso problematisch. Die Kellner zeigten eine mangelnde Professionalität und scheinen Schwierigkeiten im Umgang mit Gästen zu haben. Besonders störend war, dass uns die Rechnung unaufgefordert auf den Tisch gelegt wurde, offenbar nur, um uns zum Aufstehen zu bewegen (von der einzigen Kellnerin). Dies empfand ich als äußerst respektlos und unangebracht. In Zukunft werde ich dieses Restaurant nicht mehr besuchen und nicht weiterempfehlen!!!

Ein unfassbar leckeres Essen! Die Garnelenpfanne vorweg kann ich 100% empfehlen sowie alles weitere auch! Live Musik am Wochenende ebenfalls sehr zu empfehlen! Wir kommen immer gerne her!

Beim ersten Besuch war alles perfekt und auch 5*. Leider war das Fleisch beim zweiten Besuch in der Küche angebrannt und anstatt es komplett neu zu machen, wurden Teile davon auf den Teller gelegt. Verbrannt hat es dennoch geschmeckt und war daher kaum genießbar. Das weitere Gericht war - aufgrund dieses Problematik - kalt, als es an den Tisch gebracht wurde! Als Entschädigung gab es dann einen Nachtisch, den wir aber auch bereits beim ersten Besuch umsonst bekamen.

Guter Gastgeber leckeres Essen, wenn es voll wird wird es sehr eng. Über den Preis kann ich nichts sagen habe nicht bezahlt.

Wir sind seit der Eröffnung regelmäßig im Mediator und sind sowohl mit dem Essen, als auch dem Ambiente und dem gesamten Personal mehr als zufrieden. Von den Inhabern werden wir jedesmal sehr herzlich empfangen. Die Livemusik an Wochenenden ist sehr amüsant. Alles in allem fühlen wir uns dort sehr wohl und können das Restaurant mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen…

Ein tolles Restaurant. Sehr empfehlenswert. Der Eigentümer und seine Mitarbeiter sind herzliche Gastgeber. Das Essen war reichhaltig und in einer guten Qualität. Wir kommen jederzeit gerne wieder.

Dieses Restaurant ist ein Muss/ mein Favorit/ ein Hort des guten Essens/ immer einen Besuch wert/ von der Landkarte des guten Geschmacks nicht mehr wegzudenken.

Wir haben um 22 Uhr reserviert und mussten tatsächlich eine Stunde draußen warten. Ständig hat uns der Inhaber mit „in einer Minute mache ich euch einen Tisch frei“ vertröstet. Dieser Laden nimmt Kunden an, ohne vorher zu kontrollieren, ob es denn überhaupt passt. Nach 1 Stunde Wartezeit, wollte uns der Inhaber an einen 2 Personen Tisch setzen, obwohl wir zu viert waren. Lächerlicher ging es tatsächlich gar nicht mehr (respektlose Tat nach so einer Wartezeit). Dieser Laden ist seinen „Hype“ nicht wert, empfehle ich somit nicht weiter. SCHWACH!

Essen wird in ordentlichen Portionen angereicht. Vorspeise lecker. Die gebraten Leber, (Çiğer kavurması), war echt sehr gut!!!! Fisch hatte meine Freundin bestellt. Ein bisschen wenig gewesen. Sollte man eine Vorspeise auf jeden Fall davor auf jeden Fall bestellen. Am WE live Musik. Sehr guter Musiker. Die Inhaber hatten oder haben noch einen Laden " Trüffel" in Mülheim a.d. Ruhr. Das ist auf jeden Fall ein Insider. (Ob es diesen Laden noch gibt, weiss ich nicht). Aussenterasse auch sehr schön😁👍

Unsere Tochter hat dort ihre Hochzeit gefeiert. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Abend im Kreis der Familie. Das Essen und der Service waren sehr gut. Ein kleiner Teil der Gäste war vegetarisch und es wurde kurzerhand eine leckere vegetarische Alternative gezaubert. Vielen Dank für den schönen Abend. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir haben den 50.Geburtstag von meiner Schwester dort gefeiert und alles war wirklich mit Absprache super organisiert👍🏻👍🏻die Besitzer sind ganz nette Ehepaare die sind so lieb, und positiv gewesen. Die Mitarbeiter waren sowas von freundlich und zuvorkommend, fleißig super Teamarbeit. Ein Restaurant was mehr anbietet als die Norm, sehr chic und elite. Die Gerichte waren wirklich super lecker à la "gourmet" Preis-Leistung stimmte auch, 👍🏻👍🏻vorallem mit Live-Music mit super Sängern. Wir bedanken uns ganz ♥️herzlich für die nette Gastfreundlichkeit. Ich werde sie aufjedenfall weiter empfehlen. VIELEN DANK ♥️

Öncelikle şunu söylemek istiyorum ki işletme sahibi abla ve abi çok mükemmel insanlar. Kibirden egodan uzak, gece boyunca müşterilerine defalarca herşey yolunda mı diye soran, masa masa gezen insanlar. Ortam süper 👍 Yemekler harika 👍 Ama son geldiğimizde yaşadığımız bir olay hoşuma gitmedi açıkcası ve belirtmek istedim. İşletme sahibi abi ile herşey yolunda mı sohbetinden sonra bugün evlilik yıldönümüm olduğunu falan konuştuk. O zaman size pasta ikram ediyorum birazdan göndericem dedi. Ne kadar istemesek de hediyesini !!! geri çevirmedik. Ama gece sonunda hesap istediğimizde pasta için 20 € yazılmış olması saçma oldu. Ayrıca Hugo kokteyl fiyatının menüde 8,5 yazdıktan sonra, hesapta 2 Hugo için 19€ istenmesi de gözümden kaçmadı değil :) Güzel geceyi kötü bitirmemek için itiraz etmedim ve ödeyip kalktım. Kesinlikle kötü niyetle yapıldığını düşünmüyorum ama müşterilerilere yaptığınız jestleri garsonlar ile de paylaşırsanız bu tarz karışıklıkların önüne geçilir. Ich hatte am Samstag das Vergnügen, das Restaurant "Mediator" in Düsseldorf zu besuchen, und ich bin einfach begeistert! Das gesamte Erlebnis war absolut fantastisch und hat meine Erwartungen bei weitem übertroffen. Zunächst einmal beeindruckte mich die gemütliche und einladende Atmosphäre des Restaurants. Die stilvolle Einrichtung, warme Beleuchtung und die angenehme Hintergrundmusik sorgten dafür, dass ich mich sofort wohl fühlte. Das Personal war äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend, und der Service war ausgezeichnet. Meine Fragen wurden geduldig beantwortet, und ich fühlte mich jederzeit bestens betreut. Nun zum kulinarischen Teil: Die Speisekarte im "Mediator" bietet eine erlesene Auswahl an Gerichten, die die Vielfalt der internationalen Küche widerspiegelt. Ich entschied mich für das empfohlene Tagesmenü, und ich muss sagen, dass es eine exzellente Wahl war. Die Speisen wurden mit viel Liebe zum Detail zubereitet und waren nicht nur ein Augenschmaus, sondern auch ein Gaumenschmaus. Frische Zutaten und fein abgestimmte Aromen machten jedes Gericht zu einem wahren Genuss. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Weinbegleitung, die perfekt auf die Speisen abgestimmt war. Die Auswahl an Weinen ist beeindruckend und zeigt die Leidenschaft des Restaurants für hochwertige Genussmomente. Die Portionen waren großzügig, sodass ich nach dem Dessert fast schon das Gefühl hatte, eine kulinarische Weltreise gemacht zu haben. Doch das war noch nicht alles! Der krönende Abschluss war ein köstlicher Espresso, der meine Geschmacksknospen erneut verwöhnte. Zusammenfassend kann ich das Restaurant "Mediator" uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Es ist ein Ort, an dem Qualität und Leidenschaft für gutes Essen spürbar sind. Ob für ein romantisches Abendessen zu zweit, eine Geschäftsessen oder einfach nur, um sich selbst etwas Besonderes zu gönnen - das "Mediator" ist die perfekte Wahl. Haben nur ein Hauptgericht bestellt, trotzdem noch kleine Vor und Nachspeise, sowie ein kleines Glas Tee und “was zu knabbern” als Service des Hauses erhalten. Sehr aufmerksame und nette Bedienung

Wir wollten nur 2 Aperol Spritz (0,2l) trinken. Nach 15 ewigen Minuten kamen zwei lauwarme Drinks (ohne Eis) und der Kellner verlangte 19,00 (laut Karte kostet einer 8,50€) und Wechselgeld hatte er auch nicht.

Das Essen war sehr lecker und schön. Die Bedienung war freundlich, kompetent und schnell. Es gab auch Vorspeise und Nachtisch als Kompliment vom Haus. Das Ambiente ist wunderschön: moderne Holztische, bequeme Sessel und Sternenhimmel, die angenehme Musik in Hintergrund bringt in den Chill Modus 🌌. Das beste Restaurant in verschiedenen Kategorien meiner Meinung nach. Komme gerne wieder

Eigentlich könnte es ein schönes Restaurant sein. Sehr gute Lage und die Einrichtung sehr stilvol. Aber: Die Sauberkeit läßt extrem zu wünschen übrig! Die Papier-Speisekarten haben Dreckflecken und sind zerrissen, die Gläser, Teller, Besteck sind schmutzig und zum Teil kaputt. Die Kleidung der Bedienung ist stark verschmutzt. Mediterrane Küche wird hier mit türkischer Küche gemischt, es gab Fladenbrot und Dip kostenlos vorab. Der Loup de meer (24,50€) war trocken und fad, der Brokkoli verkocht und der Salat sah nach einer Fertigmischung aus. Ein Glas Wein 0,25 kostet 9€ Hier ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis absolut nicht stimmig!!! Die Dame im Service war sehr nett und freundlich, konnte die Probleme des Restaurant jedoch leider nicht kompensieren. Insgesamt ein sehr enttäuschenden Erlebnis.

Der Service war unglaublich schlecht, der Kellner hat mehrfach einfach andere Speisen gebracht als die, die bestellt waren (kalte Vorspeisen statt warmen, haben zum Nachtisch zwei mal Panna Cotta bestellt, es kamen sechs mal Grieskuchen + Obstteller, den wir ausdrücklich abgelehnt hatten). Ein Gericht wurde ausdrücklich in nicht scharf bestellt, kam scharf. Ansonsten war das Essen soweit ok, mehr aber auch nicht. Für den hohen Preis sollte man mehr erwarten können. Es wird Leitungswasser zu Flaschenpreisen verkauft: keine Flasche ist original verschlossen, Sprudelgehalt immer unterschiedlich

Wenn man einen tollen Abend mit live Musik im Hintergrund verbringen möchte ist es die richtige Adresse..Vorallem der Service ( Dame)war Top.. Preisleistungsverhälniss 👍

The service was beyond wonderful. They have great attention to detail and made sure their clients felt welcomed at every turn. They provided 4 types of complementary dishes throughout our meal, including a full basked of flat bread with four dips and a complementary dessert. Our waiter Ragi was knowledgeable and friendly, all in all I would fully recommend the experience.
