Very bad experience. The only way to order is by the scanner on the table which takes you to a site that is all in german. When asked for help to the waiters the are so rude and unwelcoming like they are making a very big obgligation by helping. Total disgrace to the Vapiano brand. Vapiano must look into this because I was not the only person facing this issue at that moment, there was another lady with the same issue. Infact a lot of other reviews are the same.

I've never had such a bad meal out. Went there spontaneously on a Sunday evening to have something to eat - the restaurant itself was very nice. We were only greeted sporadically and no one cared about us after that. The waitress who brought the drinks did so only half-heartedly and clearly didn't enjoy her job. The food was absolutely NOT good. The spaghetti was thin like instant ramen and sticky like it had been in the fridge for two days. There was hardly any sauce in the carbonara, but the one with tomato sauce was fine. Charging 9 euros or more for this is really not justified. 👎🏻 We won't eat here again.

Meals were tasty, but service could be better. It took a while to convince a waiter to find a table for us. I was not feeling like a welcomed guest. There were not enough tables overall on Friday night, but the second floor was closed. Also, they kept several tables reserved for potential guests. However, nobody came at the end of the day and that tables remained empty/unoccupied.

The food was very tasty, unfortunately the ordering system currently has a problem and doesn't show when you want to pay. What was a shame was not the system error - that happens - but the reaction from the boss when we pointed it out. Friendly and constructive criticism, it would be good if the guests at the table (e.g. when serving the food/drinks) were briefly informed that there is no waiter coming to the table, but that you have to pay in front, was rejected quite briskly - among other things with the statement that the previous complete failure of the system had already cost him so much staff that he couldn't take every guest into account and after all there were enough people walking around here that could be spoken to. To be honest, we wouldn't be surprised if the staff left because of the way they communicated, because anyone who speaks to their guests as harshly and inconsiderately as they spoke to us probably doesn't treat their staff any better. It's a shame because both the food and the service were good. Sorry for the staff on site..

Quality of food is decreasing day after day. For example, Bruscetta was too tasteless and horrible. Chicken Alfredo was below average. A few months ago, I've been here several times but never had such tastes. Most horrible thing was the behaviour of their staff (maybe, he was manager or someone like that). He was literally behaving with us, like we were there to eat food on free of cost. I've heard same type of incidents happened with others recently but never believed that, however this kindda things happened with us now. I've never recommend this to any of my friends anymore from now.

We came on a Friday afternoon and asked for a place. We were given a table outside. So far everything is ok. When I asked if my bag was in the way and I usually put it aside, I only got an annoyed look but no answer. We didn't get a menu and we weren't asked for drinks either. After us came 2 smaller groups who were in fancy evening dress, they each had their menus before they sat at their tables. Drink orders were also taken there immediately. When I asked after 20 minutes if we could also order something to drink and have the menus, we were again left sitting without an answer and the waiter went to another table. If only people in suits and evening gowns are served there, this should be communicated in advance. We then left the store and ate in the restaurant across the street. Incomprehensible! This has never happened to me in any other Vapiano.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant. To start, the only water available is from Nestle, specifically Sanpellegrino and Aqua Panna. Considering Nestle's controversial reputation as a Globalist-Satanist company, I was already uneasy. To make matters worse, I believe the water they served was contaminated. It had a strange taste and left me feeling unwell after drinking it... It's frustrating that the restaurant offers no other options for water, especially when these brands are known for their problematic corporate practices. I strongly advise against dining here if you care about the quality and ethics of the products you consume. I certainly won't be coming back...

I have been to many Vapiano’s before, but the service was the worst at this one. The waiters all just lifelessly mumbled at us, so we didn’t really get if they were doing table service or not? So we went inside to order, they told is they do table service so we went back to sit down. Then it took them another 15 minutes to take our order. We waited another 30 minutes for food, while those who arrived after us already received everything. The food arrived after a long wait, luke warm, definitely sat there waiting for the waiters to take it to the table for s long time. I ordered a vegan pasta, which clearly was made with real cheese sadly. But at this point we couldn’t be bothered to send things back. The waiters hate their jobs, maybe the guests too? We did not feel welcome at all, mediocre experience at best sadly.

My children's pasta was really tasty, unfortunately you can only get a children's portion in 3 or 4 different versions and only up to 12 years old. I eat such a tiny portion that I knew beforehand that it would be too much and decided on bruschetta, unfortunately it was very spicy, which the waiter confirmed afterwards. After years, I wanted to give the store another chance. Well, that's it I guess. Wrong food twice (way too small and cheap) for the lunch deal. What was ordered only came after double warning. Quality was OK, but there is significantly more and better food for less money. Service was lame. **Vapiano Düsseldorf** Our visit to Vapiano Düsseldorf was a thoroughly enjoyable experience that exceeded our expectations in every respect. The food was excellent – especially the bolognese and chilli cheese nuggets, both of which were incredibly tasty. Although the restaurant was very busy, the waiters remained calm and efficient. We were served quickly and the staff were consistently friendly and accommodating. We were really impressed by their attentiveness and commitment. Our wishes were virtually read from our lips, which made the experience particularly pleasant. The store itself is extremely clean and well maintained. This applies to both the dining area and the toilets, which were in immaculate condition. The tables were immediately cleared and wiped down after each use, contributing to a consistently clean and welcoming atmosphere. A particular highlight was the warmth and child-friendliness of the staff. The staff always took the time to offer friendly advice and always had a smile on their faces, which made us feel welcome and valued. This contributed significantly to the cozy and relaxed atmosphere that makes the store so charming. All in all, our visit to Vapiano Düsseldorf was a wonderful experience. The combination of delicious food, excellent service and a warm, welcoming atmosphere makes this place a real insider tip. We can highly recommend the Vapiano Düsseldorf to everyone and are already looking forward to our next visit.

I have never been treated with such rudeness and indifference from a restaurant staff in my entire life! There were no menus on the tables, they do not longer give you plastic card in the entrance as they used to do. You must scan a qr code to open their app and place your order. The app didn't have an English menu and it was constantly crashing. We ask for help from 3 different waiters - dressed in white -and one manager - dressed in black - but strangely they didn't want to help us. They were rude and arrogant, especially the manager - the 2nd time i nod him he avoided me by sending another waiter. The dialogue with the waiter : - Suppose I do not have battery or phone, is there another way to order food in your restaurant? - I can’t take your order because the tables are full. The tables were 50% full at this time (19:48 30/05/2024) We left Vapiano irritated and went to L’Osteria where the staff was welcoming, they brought us English menus on the table and we had a great meal by ordering to the waiter verbally like the old days…

Disappointing experience at Vapiano Upon entry we were told that the restaurant was very full and we would have to share a large table for eight with three other people. This was not a problem for us, but it would have been appropriate to ask the other guests if this was acceptable to them or if they would prefer to wait to be seated at a separate table. Instead we were simply told that we had to sit down, without further consultation. We sat down and tried to order via the QR code, which proved difficult due to the poor WiFi in the building and the poorly functioning website. A waiter didn't come to take the order, which means you have to order via the QR code. After waiting half an hour we asked about our food and were informed that when we entered the restaurant we had been told we would have to wait at least 45 minutes. However, this information was never shared with us, which created an awkward situation where we felt falsely accused of lying. After continuing to wait, thinking our food would come soon, we went to the waiter again after an hour to cancel the order. We were then informed that our order had not even been processed up to that point either. A large restaurant and an established chain should be able to prepare multiple dishes at the same time and not keep their customers waiting for an hour or more, even if the restaurant is full. Overall, this experience was extremely disappointing.

We were there today at the seaside, June 1st, 2024. We got a place very quickly. You really can't complain about that. But...ordering via cell phone wasn't possible for everyone. We then had to swap cell phones with each other. Since the first people had already sent their orders, the food arrived at different times. The first ones were finished and the last ones got their food. That's pretty stupid, especially when you're eating out with kids. Furthermore, the waiters didn't manage to distinguish a normal Cola from a Cola Zero. We complained about it, but another Coke Zero came anyway. I'm really not demanding, but I do expect a certain level of service. My conclusion: I wouldn't come back with my children.

A Vapiano is a reliable factor in system catering. It's the same with the Vapiano in Königsallee. To be honest, what really annoys me about the new development is the way the order is placed: that you have to log in via your cell phone, okay. I ordered the Pollo Picante dish and it was 99% pasta. That can't be the case with a dish that costs 17 euros. The chicken pieces were far too small, the vegetables were almost non-existent and you could tell that savings were being made everywhere. Things were completely different a few years ago. There were three of us. Ordered via cell phone, which didn't work at all. My two friends got what they ordered, I didn't get anything to drink or eat. I told the service staff about this twice, but no one seemed to care. When I finally got my food after an hour, it was very disappointing. Dead cooked spaghetti with no taste at all. A single mess...sorry, but unfortunately I can't think of anything else. Very disappointing. Was there a few years ago, there was nothing to complain about, on the contrary. The atmosphere is appealing, friendly and bright. The food: Pinsa took 20 minutes, ordered 3x pasta with different portion sizes, 1x lukewarm, ordering via app took place on the 1st-3rd. It didn't work once, the fourth time there was no support from the staff. 1 bottle of water was missing, according to the waitress it wasn't ordered, she then took it again, but she was unfriendly. The water never arrived. When asked by the boss, we expressed our displeasure and asked for the bill. He explicitly tells the waitress that the bottle should be taken out. When we paid there were 2 bottles of water on the bill. So they didn't have a good day today.

Incredibly disappointing. Orders not delivered correctly, no communication regarding table numbers - you have to coordinate with your neighbors who can order online and when, because otherwise the system doesn't work! UNPLEASANT! And to make matters worse, the staff doesn't talk to the guests, but just randomly places all the plates in the middle of the table and disappears... This is what happens when you turn Pizza Pinsa and self-service into QR Quotes.

The food is good, the ambience is ok for a restaurant of this category, the staff is friendly. It's nice that you no longer have to get your own food like you used to. But a QR code for a table is a bit difficult if not all people belong together. You really have to coordinate with the other people at the table. Otherwise everything gets mixed up. Unfortunately, since there are only large tables, this happens often. There is still room for improvement.

I had a spontaneous meal there yesterday with a friend. Ordering was easy using the QR code and the waiting time wasn't too long. Unfortunately, the food wasn't convincing at all. Both pasta dishes were cold. My pasta Pomodoro was overcooked and stuck together in a pile. Unfortunately inedible. The payment process took about 40 minutes after we asked again. The employees were otherwise very nice. We'll probably look for another food spot next time.

We ate at this Vapiano at the weekend. Although it was still very empty upstairs, my friend and I were seated at a table of four with two other women. You could order there using the QR code. Unfortunately we had the same code as our table neighbors. This caused a lot of confusion and ultimately we had to coordinate. As always, the food tasted good and the service was friendly. Still, it wasn't a relaxed meal.

Centrally located on the Düsseldorfer Kö. Here you can order food and drinks using your cell phone. The staff then brings the orders to the table. Nicely decorated, food and drinks very tasty but just too expensive!!!
