Pleasant chain with an Italian and techno atmosphere. Italian in the cuisine, with expected but well-prepared dishes, and a welcome gluten-free option. Techno in the QR and smartphone ordering system. Pleasant atmosphere overall, and attentive service. Perfect.

Truly the worst Vapiano I've ever had. The pasta wasn't cooked properly, it was way too hard. The pasta was dry, and the chicken was burnt. The staff was rude and ill-mannered.

Placing an order is very convenient via QR code at the table. The food tastes very good, and the chili is quite spicy, unlike 95% of all cases in Germany.

The service is good ,Staffs are friendly and the restaurant is clean. I recommend this restaurant for a single customer or a large group of people. An even higher point is that they don't charge extra if you change to oats milk in your coffee!

We were really looking forward to the pasta from Vapiano because we'd had very good experiences with it in Koblenz, Leipzig, and Berlin. Even though it was nicely seasoned, the pasta itself was very hard. There was no sign of "al dente." It made our pasta hearts bleed. We abandoned the €14.95 pasta feta e pesto after about three bites. Our stomachs started to rumble quickly. So, unfortunately, it wasn't a pleasant experience for us. 😕

Just ordered. No flavor, no Parmesan or ciabatta included, ice cold. Never again.

Great food. Lovely terrace. The food is fresh and prepared quickly, which is really nice. The price is reasonable, but the drinks are way too expensive.

The price/performance ratio isn't right with half of the menu being self-service! Drink prices are outrageous! A 0.33l Coke costs €4.95, which comes to over €15 per liter! Iced tea costs €5.95 for a 0.5 liter, which comes to €11.90 per liter! Simple pasta with chicken, arugula, and bread costs just under €18! And the bread for two people was a small slice of baguette each, not two larger slices of ciabatta per person like before. We are more than disappointed!

The location is very nice, and the waiters are very attentive. I had a gluten-free BBQ pinsa, which tasted really good. Unfortunately, I find the prices a bit steep.

What can I say? I now understand why Vapiano as a company has fallen into trouble. I was a big fan of Vapiano a long time ago. But Vapiano is simply nowhere near what it used to be. Yesterday, I had by far the worst spaghetti (with tomato sauce) I've ever eaten. And that's neither a joke nor an exaggeration. I have to say, I've never had a worse ready-made sauce. The benches were dirty. Sorry to say, but I can't run a restaurant like that.

I'd just had a really tough night shift and just wanted to treat myself. And yes, what can I say? I received a really warm welcome, and the service in general was great. One young woman even made me laugh (which I really needed after the shift). A big hug goes out to her (with the high braid). The food was great too; you made my day. 🫶🏼

We were there with friends. The food arrived very late and was cold. The pasta sauce was very small; I've never had pasta like that at a Vapiano. It was far too hot and there were only 2-3 employees there.

We Had a amazing experience especially love online payment and good service,The pasta with shrimp was delicious, and the sujuk pizza offered a perfect blend of flavors. The panna cotta dessert was the ideal sweet finish. Special thanks to servers Hakim and Soufiane who were incredibly helpful and attentive throughout our visit. Definitely recommend!

I visited Vapiano on August 9, 2025, and was completely thrilled. The food was fresh, flavorful, and lovingly prepared—the pasta was perfectly al dente and the sauce was wonderfully flavorful. The staff was super friendly, attentive, and always there with a smile. I particularly liked the relaxed atmosphere and the quick preparation, despite the large number of guests. I'll definitely be back—one of the best visits I've had in a long time!

Orders arrive very late. We ordered a pizza, which took half an hour to arrive. The portions are very small for the price. I wouldn't recommend it.

I visited your establishment this afternoon and was extremely disappointed with the service provided. There was only one employee on-site, trying to handle everything on their own—there was no one else available to assist guests. This is unacceptable. It is clear that your establishment is severely understaffed. This raises serious questions not only about the poor guest service, but also about the working conditions of your employees. I would have liked to speak with management personally, but no opportunity arose. Frankly, this situation reflects very poorly on the management, and I believe the responsible General Manager should reconsider her position. I strongly urge you to review your staffing levels and determine whether your operations still meet basic standards in the restaurant and hotel industry. If this is not the case, I believe it would be appropriate for the Public Order Office to address this matter. It is unacceptable that guests are treated so poorly and that employees have to work under such conditions without support.

The place was 20% empty but the service was one the worst ever. Took 40 minutes to get the food after we remind the waitress about our food. We got the wrong food The tables and chairs are not comfortable at all Never go back to this place

Has declined sharply over the past 3 years

I asked for a takeaway box. The first time via the app, no one came. The second time, I asked the staff (the waiter and usher) – they already had a box in their hands and said they'd be right there. When no one came after 10 minutes, I went back to the staff with a bowl. The pasta had barely any sauce, and the chicken Alfredo had very little meat... never again. I'd rather go to the Media Harbor.

We ate at Vapiano and it was fantastic! The food was truly delicious – freshly prepared and full of flavor. The pasta was especially perfect: you could taste it was freshly made. The restaurant has a relaxed and modern atmosphere, with a cozy, open kitchen. The service was also excellent: friendly staff, and everything ran smoothly. Definitely recommended if you enjoy Italian food in a pleasant setting!

The food was very good, there was a large selection, quite generous portions, and a very good dessert!! Unfortunately, we noticed that the ambiance wasn't what the menu prices, location, and food selection would suggest: A nice restaurant, albeit a bit dated – the door to the women's restroom wasn't fully hung on its hinges, and the cutlery was dirty and sitting in a cracked glass on the table. The plates weren't entirely clean either. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and, upon our request, immediately brought new cutlery to the table. Overall, Vapiano on the Kö offers a great location with a lovely terrace, somewhat shielded from the pedestrian walkway, a good and tasty selection of food and drinks, and fairly fair prices. However, they should pay more attention to cleanliness and hygiene overall, and perhaps install a new door in the restrooms.

I ate a pasta pomodoro and it was stil dough i was very mad i told them they were doing nothing about it. It took one and an half hour i am not happy about this i am very disappointed in this düsseldorf is very strange they also did not help with ordering

I'd like to give zero points, but unfortunately, that's not possible :/ We just ordered from you via Wolt. I had Insalata Burrata con Verdure. It costs a whopping €18.45, but I wanted to have burrata – unfortunately, the burrata was forgotten?!? How does that happen? My girlfriend had specifically ordered without onions and paid extra for arugula. Both were also forgotten. The funny thing is, the order is written on the bag separately. How could you do that so wrong? It takes forever to get your money back now...

Got food poisoning here. Avoid please

An absolute disaster. First we got the wrong food, then the right one arrived – but with a broken glass jar. The pasta was wrong, some of it still hard, as if it had been sitting around for hours. No bread, even though it should have been part of the order. No cutlery on the table, which was dirty, by the way. Overall, everything seemed careless and chaotic. For a restaurant with that name, this is simply embarrassing. Never again. If I could give 0 stars, I would give zero. Truly incompetent!

We ate at Vapiano with our son. We received a friendly welcome, and our little one was immediately offered something to draw. Drinks were also brought to our table quickly after ordering. The food didn't take long to arrive either; it arrived hot and was also very tasty. Overall, everything was great, and we're looking forward to our next visit.
