This place was super busy especially Saturday, but they handled it so well! The food was amazing, and the service was just as impressive. Even with the crowd, everything ran smoothly, and it never felt chaotic. What’s even better is that it’s dog-friendly! If you’re looking for great food, awesome service, and a place where your dog is just as welcome as you are, this is it. Highly recommend!

We came across the restaurant by chance and were greeted very friendly. The selection of dishes is larger than what is listed on the menu. Older students can of course also order at the table and do not have to do so using their smartphone. My pizza was custom-made, delicious and satisfying. We would like to stop there again on our next visit to Düsseldorf.

Vapiano used to be much better. We had now ordered four dishes. Two pizzas, a pasta and a gluten-free pinsa. All four of us weren't thrilled. The quality, the spice, the details didn't convince us. And paid €94 for that plus four drinks... It's a shame, because I used to love going to Vapiano - especially because of the gluten-free version!

Very good service and very good foods

Reliable and fast - that's why we like to come here again and again. Particularly suitable for people who have to follow a gluten-free diet.

If I could, I wouldn't give any stars. We ordered pizza with extra olives and feta cheese on it. Then we have a pizza without feta cheese. At first I didn't get an answer to my question about where the feta cheese was, but after 5 minutes the waitress came with a small bowl of feta cheese. I then said that I would like the feta cheese on my pizza and not separately. The waitress's answer was "you can do it yourself". She's gone away. After several attempts to speak to a waiter, the young lady came back to us. I told her that I don't think it's correct that if you order a pizza with something on it, you want the ingredients on the pizza and not separately. After about 5 minutes we got a new pizza (this time there was feta cheese on it but no mushrooms). And even worse, pizza wasn't cooked through. Dough was not baked at all. No chance of eating anything decent here. Never again!!

The food was very tasty and the ambience was good. A bowl of pasta for €18 is just a disgrace, especially since it was simple pasta. A pomegranate iced tea for €6.50 is just sick. It's unbelievable what is allowed here. The food is really tasty and I had nothing to complain about but the prices are poor. We also ordered pana cotta which was also very tasty. I can only recommend it. Anyone who goes here must be aware that a meal for two with dessert costs €60-70.

Well I used to like this restaurant brand a lot… But It went down hill now. So let’s talk about the Food first. I had one lasagna al forno while my brother had Pasta Bolognese with bread. The lasagna used to be a very good dish but it’s not anymore. It didn’t even taste like lasagna it was quite literally tasteless and my stomach is hurting. This could be because the chefs had a bad day but who knows. The service: Let’s talk about the service, There really wasn’t any service at all. Since you had to order your food Through a QR code meaning the only time you will encounter a waiter is when they bring your food so there is no service at all. And the one time they came they messed it up and dropped the bread onto the ground when we ordered,although they didn’t apologise they still brought us new bread. Atmosphere: Well the whole restaurant was empty but that isn’t the fault of the restaurant but the atmosphere still looked so basic and it was so cold in there, I went in there in my winter jacket and I was still cold. This may have been because the climatisation fell out. This definitely messed up the experience.

The taste of the food was not convincing and the quality declined. Given the many other Italian alternatives in Düsseldorf that perform significantly better, I would no longer necessarily recommend Vapiano at the moment.

It was the first time we were put under so much pressure to give a positive review at a restaurant. A lady who was responsible for billing literally forced us to write good reviews. Everything in this restaurant was absurd. Although the service was good, the quality of the food was disproportionate to the inflated prices. We had chosen the option of having the waiter handle the payment, but no one came to collect the bill. In the end, not only did we have to do everything ourselves, but we were also brazenly forced to give a positive review. This experience was simply unbearable.

Unfortunately, my visit to Vapiano was anything but satisfactory. The food was a disappointment – ​​both in terms of taste and quality. The food was served cold, which significantly affected the enjoyment. In addition, the waiting times were far too long. Even though the restaurant was only moderately busy, we had to wait far too long for our orders. Another point is the obvious understaffing of the service staff. The few employees seemed overwhelmed, making it impossible to provide adequate service. Overall there was a lack of both freshness and good service. It's a shame, I was hoping for more!

Good branch, the system with the QR code ordering is much better than before where you had to queue. The service staff are all very nice, even if there is no one at the entrance to assign you a table (despite the sign: Please wait here, you will be seated). I would have liked a little more salami with the pinsa. Because it was very thin and the dough was very thick, you hardly got any use out of it

When you go up the stairs to the toilets, there are catastrophic hygiene conditions on and around the railing with giant spider webs, you don't want to know what's going on behind the counter NEVER AGAIN...

Unfortunately, I had a very unpleasant experience at Vapiano on September 12th, 2024. The shift manager spoke to me in an unacceptable manner and threatened to use physical violence if I sat upstairs as the lower area was full. He said he would take me downstairs personally and added that he had no respect for me and I wasn't human. Such behavior is completely unacceptable and disappointing. I haven't eaten there and will never eat there again at this branch. A shift manager like this should be fired immediately.

It was very disappointing. Order only via app, the waitress either didn't understand you or didn't respond to your query. The price-performance ratio isn't right either.

Great place to sit outside and enjoy the pasta. Just high prices. This was different a few years ago. Very unfortunate because I also missed the Chili in my pasta that I had checked.

Ordered a Caesar salad for lunch today and just got iceberg lettuce with Caesar dressing. I opted out of croutons and bread too. The salad arrived and the parmesan was also missing... when I asked, I was enlightened: the parmesan is also taken out if you opt out of bread. What?! And the best part: The salad comes without chicken, so it costs €12 for iceberg lettuce, croutons and parmesan. That's the entire salad. 😂 Never seen such a bad price-performance ratio.

It's good that Vapiano changed their system a few years ago. This makes ordering more customer-friendly. The last time I ordered a lunch special menu was on Sat from their online system. Unfortunately, the waitress then informed us that it was only for weekdays. Since their system is not properly programmed, I will not visit this branch for the time being.

Order everything via QR code and then request the waiter to pay via your cell phone. Not good for the older generation.

Very bad experience. The only way to order is by the scanner on the table which takes you to a site that is all in german. When asked for help to the waiters the are so rude and unwelcoming like they are making a very big obgligation by helping. Total disgrace to the Vapiano brand. Vapiano must look into this because I was not the only person facing this issue at that moment, there was another lady with the same issue. Infact a lot of other reviews are the same.

The lasagna was not good but i liked the pizza

We were served quickly and the food was very tasty.

I've never had such a bad meal out. Went there spontaneously on a Sunday evening to have something to eat - the restaurant itself was very nice. We were only greeted sporadically and no one cared about us after that. The waitress who brought the drinks did so only half-heartedly and clearly didn't enjoy her job. The food was absolutely NOT good. The spaghetti was thin like instant ramen and sticky like it had been in the fridge for two days. There was hardly any sauce in the carbonara, but the one with tomato sauce was fine. Charging 9 euros or more for this is really not justified. 👎🏻 We won't eat here again.

Meals were tasty, but service could be better. It took a while to convince a waiter to find a table for us. I was not feeling like a welcomed guest. There were not enough tables overall on Friday night, but the second floor was closed. Also, they kept several tables reserved for potential guests. However, nobody came at the end of the day and that tables remained empty/unoccupied.

Food was completely fine as usual. Some dishes appear to have been taken off the menu since our last visit, which is a shame. Service was simply bad on the day we visited, food came before the cutlery. Drinks didn't come at all, we had to ask. The ambience is great as it is located in the middle of the KÖ Galerie. The prices are moderate and the service is really good.

The food was very tasty, unfortunately the ordering system currently has a problem and doesn't show when you want to pay. What was a shame was not the system error - that happens - but the reaction from the boss when we pointed it out. Friendly and constructive criticism, it would be good if the guests at the table (e.g. when serving the food/drinks) were briefly informed that there is no waiter coming to the table, but that you have to pay in front, was rejected quite briskly - among other things with the statement that the previous complete failure of the system had already cost him so much staff that he couldn't take every guest into account and after all there were enough people walking around here that could be spoken to. To be honest, we wouldn't be surprised if the staff left because of the way they communicated, because anyone who speaks to their guests as harshly and inconsiderately as they spoke to us probably doesn't treat their staff any better. Quality of food is decreasing day after day. For example, Bruscetta was too tasteless and horrible. Chicken Alfredo was below average. A few months ago, I've been here several times but never had such tastes. Most horrible thing was the behaviour of their staff (maybe, he was manager or someone like that). He was literally behaving with us, like we were there to eat food on free of cost. I've heard same type of incidents happened with others recently but never believed that, however this kindda things happened with us now. I've never recommend this to any of my friends anymore from now.

We came on a Friday afternoon and asked for a place. We were given a table outside. So far everything is ok. When I asked if my bag was in the way and I usually put it aside, I only got an annoyed look but no answer. We didn't get a menu and we weren't asked for drinks either. After us came 2 smaller groups who were in fancy evening dress, they each had their menus before they sat at their tables. Drink orders were also taken there immediately. When I asked after 20 minutes if we could also order something to drink and have the menus, we were again left sitting without an answer and the waiter went to another table. If only people in suits and evening gowns are served there, this should be communicated in advance. We then left the store and ate in the restaurant across the street. Incomprehensible! This has never happened to me in any other Vapiano.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant. To start, the only water available is from Nestle, specifically Sanpellegrino and Aqua Panna. Considering Nestle's controversial reputation as a Globalist-Satanist company, I was already uneasy. To make matters worse, I believe the water they served was contaminated. It's frustrating that the restaurant offers no other options for water, especially when these brands are known for their problematic corporate practices. I have been to many Vapiano’s before, but the service was the worst at this one. The waiters all just lifelessly mumbled at us, so we didn’t really get if they were doing table service or not? So we went inside to order, they told is they do table service so we went back to sit down. Then it took them another 15 minutes to take our order. We waited another 30 minutes for food, while those who arrived after us already received everything. The food arrived after a long wait, luke warm, definitely sat there waiting for the waiters to take it to the table for s long time. I ordered a vegan pasta, which clearly was made with real cheese sadly. But at this point we couldn’t be bothered to send things back. The waiters hate their jobs, maybe the guests too? We did not feel welcome at all, mediocre experience at best sadly.

My children's pasta was really tasty, unfortunately you can only get a children's portion in 3 or 4 different versions and only up to 12 years old. I eat such a tiny portion that I knew beforehand that it would be too much and decided on bruschetta, unfortunately it was very spicy, which the waiter confirmed afterwards. My whole mouth burned, it won't happen to me again.

The staff always took the time to offer friendly advice and always had a smile on their faces, which made us feel welcome and valued. This contributed significantly to the cozy and relaxed atmosphere that makes the store so charming. All in all, our visit to Vapiano Düsseldorf was a wonderful experience. The combination of delicious food, excellent service and a warm, welcoming atmosphere makes this place a real insider tip. We can highly recommend the Vapiano Düsseldorf to everyone and are already looking forward to our next visit.

The pasta was much too hard and stuck together in large lumps in my Alio Olio, dad gabze only tasted like pasta and apparently a very tasteless oil was used, my wife's Alfredo was completely cold and there was hardly any chicken in it and that too Portion for our daughter was cold. No one told us how it worked when we came. When we managed to order, I got a barely defrosted pizza.
