McDonald's Restaurant in Augsburg

Very disappointed. The bun on the McRib was soggy. And cleanliness is clearly a foreign concept here; even the kids noticed. So, you need to clean the floors and tables more thoroughly, or perhaps some further training... then we'll be back.

The decor is attractive and modern, however, the cleanliness during my visit left much to be desired. Even before lunchtime, the floor was sticky, the tables hadn't been properly wiped, and there was litter lying around. The toilet door handle was particularly unpleasant – heavily soiled and sticky. The tray return carts were also overflowing, making it nearly impossible to put down your own tray. In addition, part of our order was delivered incorrectly and had to be reported and replaced. Overall, unfortunately, not a pleasant experience – there is an urgent need for improvement in terms of hygiene and organization.

I'm often in this store and have noticed a woman who's the shift supervisor several times. She's middle-aged and seems to be Romanian, judging by her accent. But today she really crossed the line. She's terrorizing the employees so much. It's pure bullying. She's yelling at them so loudly that it's unpleasant to be a customer. I hope someone does something about it. November 2, 2025, 4:30 PM

I've been to McDonald's all over the world, but this one is truly the worst ever. The service is outrageous, the food is cold, things are constantly missing, and the staff are simply rude. I've given them chances time and time again, but that's it. My order supposedly got lost due to a software update. After 30 minutes, I inquired about the order and was verbally abused and had to threaten to call the police. Then the assistant restaurant manager came and gave us our money back. Unbelievable! I'm never going there again, and I certainly wouldn't recommend it to anyone unless you want to be annoyed.

I usually like going to McDonald's with friends because you can rely on fast service and consistent quality. However, on this day, the visit was anything but pleasant. Even during the ordering process, the employee treated us very rudely. Instead of greeting us in a friendly manner or at least serving us neutrally, we were immediately addressed in an annoyed and harsh tone. Questions about the products were not answered, but instead met with annoyed eye rolls or derogatory comments. We felt like we were unwanted from the start. What was particularly disappointing was that this employee was not only unfriendly, but downright yelled at us. On several occasions, he spoke in an aggressive tone that was completely unprofessional and disrespectful. My friends were even insulted because of their ethnicity, which is completely unacceptable. Discriminatory or disrespectful remarks have no place in an international company like McDonald's and leave a very bad impression. Instead of a relaxed meal together, we had to deal with constant taunts and insults. The employee seemed to have no interest in taking us seriously as customers or treating us with respect. Rather, it felt like he was deliberately trying to spoil our visit. This behavior is not only inappropriate, but simply unacceptable. We were all truly shocked at how paying customers could be treated this way. Precisely because McDonald's is a globally renowned company, you should be able to rely on a certain standard of service. Friendliness, respect, and professionalism are the foundations of any customer service—but we lacked all of that that day. I would like to emphasize that this cannot be an isolated incident. When employees shout at, insult, or even discriminate against customers, it not only damages the reputation of the restaurant, but also the entire company. We will carefully consider whether we will ever visit this branch again in the future. I sincerely hope that McDonald's takes this incident seriously and takes appropriate action. The staff urgently needs better training—both in customer service and respectful behavior. Such an experience must not be repeated.

Waited 20 minutes for the food, no apology when I asked, waited for quite some time again – the food finally arrived – and then the cappuccino, too, at some point – but it was cold! I've had better fries at other McDonald's! Service was, to say the least, unmotivated! Not recommended...!!

First of all, the entire place was absolutely filthy and disgusting. You didn't even know where to sit because everything was absolutely disgusting. The burgers and fries arrived lukewarm after a long wait – the drink had almost no syrup in it and was practically tasteless. The owner should be ashamed of himself; I've never seen such a bad McDonald's!

I ordered takeout, and the food arrived quickly. Then I noticed that the nuggets weren't plant-based as ordered and asked for an exchange, which was no problem. When I got home, I discovered that the nuggets were rock-hard and had probably been sitting there all day.

I was at McDonald's yesterday, July 16, 2025, at 3:00 PM. A very disappointing visit. The staff is completely disrespectful – you feel like everyone is a "manager" and no one feels responsible. Questions are ignored or answered rudely, and you receive no help or friendliness. Communication seems to be discouraged. You wouldn't even expect this kind of behavior at a fast-food restaurant. This was probably our worst McDonald's visit ever. Unfortunately, we were there last night on a drive-through. The place was full of teenagers who harassed us. The place looked very dirty; the restroom was smeared with urine and feces. The people at the checkout were unfriendly and irritated. The food was typically delicious, like McDonald's. Definitely never again! I'd even go so far as to classify this place as dangerous. I wouldn't want to leave my wife alone here.

Service is a word that the employees don't know. As a customer at the "Service Team" checkout, I wait while the staff have fun. When I make my presence known they look at the floor and ignore us. When I spoke directly to a "sleeper" he said succinctly that I should order from the machine. A grumpy colleague who I probably disturbed was then really rude. In return I got cold fries. Until now I've always liked to stop when I'm passing through, but I'll definitely think about it. I thought the McDonald employees were trained to be service-oriented, but the branch manager completely failed with this staff. As already mentioned at the beginning, the customer is a disruptive factor in this branch. I was in sales for 25 years, 12 of which were at trade fairs. Today I was able to experience live what we laughed about during the trade fair training and believed that there was no such thing. Get well soon and wish the branch manager a happier hand in selecting his employees. UPDATE 12/24 Super cold place, lukewarm burgers keep going downhill but I guess the posers who hang around here after dark probably like that. For me this was definitely the last stop at this Mc 👎

Everything was hot, delicious and fresh. Now I don't know how they are made because I have heard a lot about the way the meat is produced in this particular fast food restaurant, but I know that at least in Bavaria where I live the brand has changed hands after the joke ended. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this McDonalds. Went there for lunch today. As soon as you walked in you could tell that this McDonalds wasn't well maintained. The floor is streaky, greasy and dirty. All tables/benches are dirty - I don't even want to talk about the high chair. The food was typical of McDonald's, although the fries tasted old for a meal at 11 o'clock. All the tableware return carts were overfull - even though it wasn't even lunchtime yet! Hygiene/cleanliness should be discussed here. NO recommendation!

Longest wait at McDonalds in my entire life I wanted to order inside. Nothing worked on the computer at the checkout. I waited 15 minutes until I got into my car and even here I wait another 15 minutes. I should have taken a roll from the gas station next door. It would have saved me a lot 🤦🏻‍♂️

I didn't realize that you could go so wrong when simply preparing a McDonald's order. To put it briefly: the size of the fries was wrong, the nuggets were completely forgotten, the drink was half full, the burger meat was everywhere but not on the bread. The service has become damn slow and even preparing the orders. In addition, the machines just seem to be failing.

Terminals don't work, the touchscreens hardly react or don't react at all, vouchers cannot be scanned and when you enter the codes, error messages usually only appear. The food is just what you would expect from an average McDonald's if you manage to order at the regular checkout.
