I ordered an iced coffee shake with caramel at McDonald's in Hamm – with the clear expectation that it would look like the official advertisement: a stylish, chilled shake in a glass, with ice cubes, caramel sauce, and an overall visually appealing presentation. What I got was a complete disappointment. Instead of an attractive, refreshing shake, I was simply given a regular paper cup with a paper lid – like a regular takeaway coffee. Nothing promised by the pictures was delivered. No visible ice cream ingredients, no sense of enjoyment – ​​instead, a seemingly unloving drink that bore no resemblance to the product in the advertising image. The taste was also disappointing. The paper lid had an unpleasant effect on the taste – soggy, with an unpleasant aftertaste. It was simply unappealing. Of course, I understand the environmental concerns and the desire to avoid plastic. But you can also overdo it. If everything is made of cardboard and the drinking experience suffers as a result, nobody benefits – neither the customer nor the environment if products are thrown away because they simply don't taste good. Unfortunately, for me, this was an example of how starkly different expectations and reality are at McDonald's. The pictures advertise something completely different than what you actually get. And that's exactly why I'll avoid buying such drinks there in the future.

I placed a €46.24 order at the drive-thru this evening on July 2, 2025, at 7:13 p.m. I was directed to the drive-thru parking lot for 10 minutes, which isn't a problem. The problem is, despite waiting, they forgot to pack the fries for my meal, and I forgot to pack one double cheeseburger. My colleague had already forgotten the drinks, which I had to point out to him. Unfortunately, I didn't notice until I got home because I didn't check the food on the spot.

We were coming from Maximilian Park and stopped there before getting on the highway. We had a bad experience here: The food distribution area was incredibly small, so everyone waiting there was practically standing on each other's feet. Furthermore, it took an incredibly long time to prepare three McFlurrys. The staff simply left trash on the floor, repeatedly. The staff loudly called out order numbers throughout the store... Hello? Why are there table signs with the numbers written in large letters? That just causes internal stress, and we were glad to be back in the car...

The store has been new since June 25, 2025, and was disappointing again on June 30. Ordered at the drive-thru, paid at the first window, everything was great. Got food and drinks. Napkins and straws were only given after asking the person about them. Now here's the thing: Ordered an iced coffee shake and a dragon tongue shake. Both looked normal at first, but then it turned out they were just vanilla milkshakes with ice cubes in BOTH shakes! I spent about €9 just for two medium vanilla milkshakes with ice cubes in them. Then I tried to contact the store by phone, but nobody answered several times, and I was simply ignored. Thanks, and never again.

Ordered two sour tongue milkshakes, one completely runny with almost no ice cream and no sour tongue, and the other vanilla but no sour tongue. It's still really bad that you don't get what you order. In Uentrop yesterday, on the other hand, it was great as always!!!!!

There are certainly one or two Mc's nearby where the processes run much more smoothly and much faster than here

The only positive thing was the relatively quick preparation of 5-10 minutes. McDonald's as you know it - food and service are fine and orders are ready quickly. However, the parking situation is really problematic. Spaces are often at a premium and entrances and exits are narrow, making parking difficult, especially at peak times. That could really be improved.

This branch is simply catastrophic!! Staff not even able to pronounce the order numbers correctly. Very simple orders - regularly incorrect contents in the bags (2 double cheeseburgers + 1 chicken burger) (you then have 3 chicken burgers in the bag) Burgers are basically cold. So 1-2 times can accept something like that. But now it's enough. I'd rather drive 4 km further to the next restaurant. And invest my money more wisely.

Recently ordered from the competition. Once again something was missing when ordering from McDonald's today. And here too something was missing from the order. Unfortunately I can hardly give any stars here. The food and service have really deteriorated. Some of the fries are undercooked and taste really sticky. With Big Mäc, the lettuce is spread around the burger and not on top of it. The drink was already running down the outside of the cup. Of course, when you picked up the cup, everything was already sticky because of the sweet drink. All in all, not as recommendable as it once was.
