Burger King in Hamm

I'd rather not give any stars at all. I visited the branch on Dortmunder Straße in Herringen today and was disappointed with the service. The team was having loud conversations with personal content, sometimes at an abnormal volume, sometimes not in German, and using inappropriate language, which disrupted the atmosphere and was clearly audible to other customers. Words like "wallah" were used in the work environment, which seemed unprofessional. In addition, a significant partial delivery was incomplete: a large portion of the order was missing, and the remaining portion was cold, which overall led to an unsatisfactory experience. This doesn't appear to be an isolated incident, as several customers were affected. This behavior has now been reported to friends and family.

This is the second time, and at this restaurant, that my pant-base chicken has gone into the fryer twice. The first time was with the long chicken. Today it was with the nugget burger. They're as hard as concrete!!! Both times, they've been thrown away.

We ordered takeaway on site and only noticed at home that not everything we ordered had been packed! And this isn't the first time this has happened!!!!!

Order wrong. 27 minutes wait time, and burgers cold.

It's truly horrible, with no head coverings or gloves, and then you stand in the shop and look at the employees eating ice cream and talking about everything under the sun. These are conditions here that are no longer normal. The health department can come here weekly, and they would find something to complain about every time.

I would prefer 0 stars alone. The service works without gloves and eats an ice cream on the side. After 15 minutes, even though there was hardly anyone in the shop, we finally got our food. Our fries got cold because the employee preferred to chat to us instead of giving us our food. This shop is unacceptable...

They delivered one cheeseburger too few, and one mayonnaise too many. No one answered the phone either. Perhaps they should hire more German staff to maintain a certain quality standard.

The mouse who served at the drive-thru today (10/11/25, 3 p.m.) was super sweet and saved our day. All the best to you! ❤️

One should be able to give C stars. If possible, briefly avoid this BK. The staff are extremely slow, forgetful (forgot 2 menus) and extremely unfriendly. When I asked when picking up (after 20 minutes) if everything was there, the answer was yes. Where's the coffee? We don't have any more! And the cheese sauce? It's sold out too! And? Do you want something else? Then I noticed at the table that 2B and 2P were missing. Service: I don't have time right now! Impossible! And there really wasn't much going on! Seriously, drive past it if possible!

Unfortunately, I didn't get my Whopper. I called my colleague Belal, but he didn't know anything about it. It's a shame, and the food was absolutely rotten afterward.

Unfortunately long waiting times

It's impossible to put into words how bad this Burger King is. The staff seems completely overwhelmed, the intercom is so quiet you'd be better off shouting across the parking lot, and you sometimes wait 15 minutes for two cheeseburgers.

Went there for the first time in a long time. It wasn't really great. The patties were dry, and the sauce was completely oozing out of one side of the burger. Lots of dirty tables.

Today, I was robbed of a "Big King" burger for €6.89 during my delivery. I couldn't reach anyone by phone at the phone number I had on file with Lieferando. After eight unsuccessful calls, I gave up. I would never order from there again.

I ordered 2 burgers, one was really good, the other was completely different, the salad was brown and the fries were cold

The branch is modern and clean. Ordering via the kiosk touchscreen was easy, as usual. The staff was quick and friendly, and the food was hot and delicious, as usual. I would recommend the branch. We ate in the restaurant.

I've been to a LOT of Burger Kings in Germany, but this one was by far the worst! The staff prefers to chat rather than work, and on top of that, the service was VERY, VERY slow. Once, and never again! The one on Münsterstraße is worlds better.

Yesterday, my father and I placed a rather pricey order via the Lieferando app (two meals, a total of around €35). For that price, you'd expect good quality; after all, it's up to the restaurant to satisfy us, as equally paying customers. But, WRONG (in capital letters). Not only did both meals arrive lukewarm, the fries had the consistency of a sponge, and the chicken burgers we ordered had little to no sauce. Then, one burger was COMPLETELY forgotten, and the nuggets we ordered (and received) came with no dipping sauce. That alone was a bitter disappointment. Even worse, however, was the wait time we were forced to wait. We were forced to wait a whopping 90 minutes for our order (we ordered at around 6:30 p.m. and received the delivery at 8:00 p.m.), and this time is clearly and significantly longer than the previously agreed time (the app said around 35-40 minutes). Had the food been better (hunger drove us to it), we'd be half as annoyed by it now, but the thing that annoyed us most was the long wait, which was well beyond the standard time. Even contacting Lieferando itself, or rather their customer service, and the branch DIRECT, was unsuccessful, as no one answered. I would love to write a better review, but after yesterday's fiasco, that's probably not possible at the moment. Ultimately, all that remains to be said is: The remaining 1- or 2-star reviews are no coincidence; they clearly demonstrate a structural problem that isn't just evident in the local branch, but has also spread to the delivery service.

The burgers and fries were warm and fresh. The drinks were chilled and still. The ice machine was broken.

Probably the worst Burger King in Germany. The staff is so unmotivated, and there's always something left on the tables. Even the drive-thru is a disaster. If you request something special, like extra cheese, it's best to check immediately to see if it's actually been made. Furthermore, you always have to check to make sure you've gotten everything. There are simply too many mistakes made here.

I'm always quite satisfied here. I've only had positive experiences with the staff and the food so far. I highly recommend this branch. And as for ordering time: Whether inside or at the drive-thru, it takes a short to normal time. Unless it's a Friday or Saturday night when the place is packed. I don't come here very often, but I always enjoy coming back. A great option for a few quick, tasty burgers.

Feeling better. The food was okay the last few times, and nothing was forgotten. Ordering machines have also been okay recently. Unfortunately, the outdoor area is uncomfortable, too open on a major road.

They speak poor German there, but they are COMPETENT.

Food is just fast food. You sit right on the street. Better Togo and enjoy it at home when you're hungry quickly

Everything is perfect but somehow it's a bit too expensive, because a crispy chicken costs 5 euros. I would rather put it at 2.99 euros then everything would be perfect.

Unfriendly staff high 10. Order number is called but a wrong number is turned instead of 6**, 3** with numbers. Of course we didn't respond because it wasn't our number. Then the nice lady shouts: “Boer ey 6** is here” I go over and she looks at me and rolls her eyes and says disparagingly to me, it says here. I answer her that she should touch her nose if she can't manage to shout a proper number and that she is very unfriendly. She then turns around and leaves. So something so unfriendly in general from all the facial expressions and discussions with customers in front of us that we just noticed is not possible. Staff was a -10, that's not possible. I was really angry about it and shocked that they were treated so condescendingly. On top of that, it wasn't understood and you couldn't get a cola. We have iced tea instead of Cola. Will never go there again, unfortunately as a customer you feel uninvited and are treated condescendingly even though it was your “mistake”. It can sometimes happen that you call the wrong number but then it turns on me like that...

Never again Waiting almost 2 hours every time for an small order is just a joke

We had 2 menus, everything was ok. The waiting time was suitable, everything was there, nothing was missing even though it was really full. However... one star deducted because of the taste of the cola. We noticed this recently. It actually tastes like water with a slight cola flavor.

Ordered there several times in the last few weeks, 9 out of 10 orders are incorrect. Either a side dish that was deselected was still added, the fries were missing from the menu, or the wrong food was delivered. What's always interesting is that if the delivery is wrong, you never make a plus like one too many fries or too many burgers. Every time you pay more than what you get. Therefore, there is a strong suspicion of rip-off on a large scale. Sad. Addendum. I ordered there again and they keep their standards, once again something was missing from the order. Still completely unreliable.

Very slow service. I waited 25 minutes for a small order. Cutlets in burgers are fresh and not salted at all. Other food is also tasteless.

Disappointed again today. Really little works in this BK branch. Normally we don't even go there anymore because it takes forever, the staff is super unfriendly and sometimes incompetent. There's always something missing. Today we were spontaneously hungry and thought we'd try again. What happened. Half of the things no longer existed. The bucket looked great, unfortunately only in the advertising...we were missing nuggets and fries. So always check everything! Unfortunately we didn't check the bucket. And because unfortunately it wasn't the small version, it was a really disappointing €14. Never again...but really now.

Absolutely bad for deliveries. They confirm a delivery time of 34 minutes and after over 60 minutes no one even answers the phone despite calling several times (20 times)!!! This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Absolute Burger King to kick the habit. Their franchise license should be revoked, which damages the entire reputation of the chain.

Never again. Burger buns sticky. Fries tasted like fish and were lame. Off to the trash can. Where was the sauce on the wooper? Burgers all dry. Delivery time stated as 34 minutes. Arrival 1 hour 10 minutes. I tried again after a long time, unfortunately the quality has deteriorated.

Best of all, no star at all, the lady has zero interest in guests, prefers to spend all her time on her cell phone and never does live again, you really have to do something. I haven't seen anything like that in a long time

I rate fast food chains as long as they ask. Yesterday it wasn't that time again for weeks. Hunger and haste came together. Burger King was just on the side of the road. Left Burger King, hungry, went quickly. That's what the 3 points are for. But...this American restaurant culture is an insult to the word and I'm sorry...I refuse to call it food. The Burger King is good! The food is delicious and served quickly. The store is clean and the staff is friendly. Sometimes the order processing could be a little more efficient, but overall a positive impression.

I bought 4 hamburgers here about an hour ago. I waited 40 minutes. Two of the burgers I bought were meat burgers and two were chicken burgers. However, they gave everyone chicken. I paid 40 euros and half of the ingredients are missing. The bread is terrible, the food is ice cold. I haven't gone back yet because I was in Bergkamen. I will come here tomorrow with the receipt and they will either refund me my money or I will go to a lawyer. You stole both my time and my money!!!

Toilet very unclean otherwise ok

The toilets are just so disgusting and they are all blocked to the brim with urine and piles. The employee in Brandenburg says he doesn't see it as a job and he doesn't care anyway because he has a staff toilet. So that's really disgusting. Burgerking just smells like a sewer.

If you order via Lieferando, the delivery time is simply increased from one hour to two hours. Then the food should come, the app says it was prepared and delivered. The Burger King branch on Dortmunder Strasse has slacked off a lot. When the order was taken on May 19, 2024 at around 7 p.m., you couldn't take the lady seriously because the colleague was constantly giggling while the order was being taken. On top of that, instead of a Bacon King, there was a wrong Plant Based Burger, it was our mistake to just check the number of burgers in the bag. Apparently you have to open each bag at the counter and check the order. For a chain of this size, this is absolute misconduct, urgent action needs to be taken by the branch manager or similar. We will NOT be coming back and will NOT recommend this branch. Vg Daniel P

Hello, the size of the order is often stated incorrectly, you order a large menu and get a medium/small portion of potatoes, the same applies to the drinks.

Collect the money, but forget to pack some things, if you order a lot you don't have an overview and you can't check it on site because it is packed tightly... afterwards, when you get home, you realize what was forgotten... .even though I tell the people 2 or 3 times not to forget to pack anything, it's annoying that you're being ripped off... the problem is that it's not just one person packing things, but several people at the same time, that's why I'm totally pissed!!!

Staff wear unhygienic clothing or walk in and out with their vests on, and you can smell the smell of cigarettes as you walk past. Hands are not washed either. We stood at the checkout for at least 15 minutes and weren't served because it was more important for them to discuss who got off work early. We then drove to the other Burger King (:

I ordered plant based menus at the drive in, I got 2 burgers too few, then I went back and pointed it out again, I then got another 2 burgers that were supposedly plant based. After checking in the car, they weren't plant-based burgers, so they went back to the country and then the whole procedure again. The burgers had all gotten cold from the long wait. NEVER AGAIN Burger King

catastrophe! not even worth 1 star

Went there to eat today, burgers were also prepared quickly. I have to say that there wasn't much going on. All in all it was fine. However, we discovered that almost all the tables were dirty and sticky from the soft drinks, and of course the floor was also sticky. There definitely needs to be an improvement.

Every time an order is missing or the order is accepted incorrectly. No wonder if only children who have no experience work there. The waiting times are terrible. By far the worst Burger King in the country. The crowning glory is the bum who is there every evening and thinks he is the employee and touches all my things from the order and ruins my appetite.

By far the worst Burger King I've been to. The employees are totally unfriendly and unprofessional. Even though there are no customers, you have to wait forever for your food. And then it's bad too. There's a guy there who makes me wonder what he's doing there? The guy picks up cigarette butts on the floor and smokes them and then he sweeps up the Burger King. Looks more like a homeless person sweeping there for a little food. I don't have anything against it, but he comes to our table and clears away even though we haven't finished eating yet. I'll never go to this disgusting store again.

After a long time, we went out to eat with the family at Burger King again and it was a complete disappointment. The food was cold and therefore inedible... but that wasn't even the worst part. The way the staff treats the customers is anything but acceptable. After the fries and burgers were all served cold, I went to the front to ask if this was normal and I won't forget the answer I got to that question for a long time. Instead of listening to me sensibly and addressing my problem, they said, "It's not the way they cook at home." Even when I tried to explain my problem and said that I was aware that the food at Burger King cannot be the same as it would be at home, she kept repeating this statement. I didn't get a reasonable answer and went back to my seat disappointed and angry... At the end the branch manager came to our table again and then explained to us sensibly why the food was cold. You would probably no longer be able to store the food warm, which is why the cheese on the burgers would no longer melt. Even though we liked the burgers with melted cheese better, I was grateful to be able to get a reasonable explanation at the end. But this employee should definitely work on her behavior!
