At the counter, I was "served" by an employee of Indian descent who apparently believes that customers who didn't order themselves don't deserve any explanation. After I had to assemble the menu myself, I received the following "customer service": "So, what do you finally want to order?" An astonishing level of rudeness—even during busy times. Simply shameful for a company like McDonald's.

I am very dissatisfied with the service at this McDonald's branch. The staff often seem impatient and unfriendly. Furthermore, orders are frequently processed incorrectly – you receive something different than what you ordered. This makes it difficult to enjoy the food, and ordering becomes a stressful experience. Therefore, I cannot recommend this location.

I was shocked by the four restroom attendants who demanded 50 cents, and if I refused, they insulted and laughed at me. It made me feel so uncomfortable; they were incredibly rude. I will never visit this McDonald's again! Being treated like that when I just wanted to use the restroom was very unprofessional and disrespectful! Never again!

It's rather tragic when you advertise (extra spiciness) on TV and online for thousands of euros... and then it's Friday and there's nothing of it... then you shouldn't advertise at all. Everything's closed and the staff are rude. And this is in the flagship Stachus shopping center in Munich.

A place frequented by African drug dealers, wearing large gold chains and rings. Open every afternoon on time. 2nd floor.

The food is just a normal McDonald's, but there are no ordering kiosks, so you have to order from employees, which I personally find very annoying.

Very incompetent staff. The burger was good, but the rest (fries, cookies, and coffee) was unfortunately not. The wait was extremely long, and to top it off, they ordered the wrong thing.

No self-service terminals 😱 uncomfortable, if you don't speak German like me. Service was fast and good though. Food, on the other side, wasn't very good. Everything was kind of tasteless.

There are no machines for ordering, the staff does not speak English, ordering is done in a live queue, not everything on the menu on the board is available.

Me and my friends were insulted (race related) by a worker of this company... The worker is not even of European origine and he felt like the owner of the country when me and my friends just wanted to get some food before going home.

The employees at the McDonald's section and the McCafe upstairs are very polite and friendly. I'd like to especially thank the lady with glasses who worked the evening shift at the McCafe section on October 23, 2025 and took my order at the register. She was very kind and friendly. I asked for a Friends cup, and she was helpful with the order.

​We visited this McDonald's in Munich, The food Mc Crispy, Big tasty bacon and fries were hot and tasty as usual. The staff was polite and served us quickly despite the fact that there were a lot of people. The restaurant was clean, the tables were wiped often. Great choice for a quick lunch. I recommend! As a guest eating at a restaurant, I find it annoying that I'm constantly asked for money when I use the restroom. As a guest, I should have the right to wash my hands before eating, so I'm giving it only one star!

I around 04:10 ordered hamburgers all i wanted was peacefully eat it. I took it i go upstairs. I start to eat then 10 min later the worker come and yell a old man “dont sleep here!!! Hallo? Hallo? Hallo? Hallo?” Whats wrong with you? The all place is empty? Leet him sleep? What a evil world I was ordered my hamburgers around 04:10 and at 04:30 they come said “you need to out” what? I didnt even finish my meal! All i want is peacefully eat! Worst mc donalda expernce ever! Also hamburgers was taste so bad! Like burned oil.

I visited today and a few tourists with slanted eyes were insulted, offended and cursed by a drunk sitting there. The reason given was that they don't know English. The drunk gentleman forced them to talk to him, he didn't even order anything. He was just sipping his beer and disturbing people. The person in charge issued a so-called warning very late and threatened to call the police. That's all. The young tourists were completely humiliated. It's definitely not a safe place. I would never recommend it.

Toilet lady grabbed my arm and didn‘t let me use the bathroom because I DID NOT HAVE ANY COINS TO GIVE HER. Note, this was after spending more than 20€ on food at McDonalds and a M worker was present and did not say a word. What is wrong with you?

The saleswoman was nice, but it was often difficult to understand her. While it was quick, the food was unfortunately cold, and the burger didn't have much sauce, which I'm not a fan of. I'm only giving it one star for the ambiance because it was really crowded and a bit loud, and unfortunately, there were no vending machines for ordering.

The fries were soggy, and instead of a size M meal, I only received a size small... The burger also wasn't up to the usual McDonald's quality...😥🍔

9er Nuggets overpriced and dripping with fat

I've never been asked for money so brazenly to go to the bathroom. The two women insisted on 50 cents or the receipt, which I didn't have with me when I went to the bathroom. Then one of the women claimed I always do that and that she knew me, even though it was my first time there. Incredibly confused, and with such disparaging attitudes from both of them, I was finally allowed in. How can someone be so inhumane?

Restrooms are always free for guests, except here. Only after much discussion and showing a receipt was I allowed to use the restroom. But I had to listen to laughter and complaints about why I didn't want to pay the 50 cents. I also had to justify why I wanted the receipt back. After I explained my reasoning, they laughed at me. Afterward, I left without saying a word.

Saved my life when I needed food at 5am after Oktoberfest!

Something terrible is happening on the second floor, I asked the staff, to which they replied: "You have to pay 50 cents." People are very indifferent. But I feel sorry for one of the staff members; she wanted to help me, but this doesn't concern her.

No automated kiosks, forgot our sauce after asking for it two times, pandemonium in the toilets with people (uniformed - seems like employees, unsure?..) hammering on the stall doors demanding customers get on with their "business". And this could be just the overall McDonald's trend, but the "large" milkshake was only 0,4l, and surprisingly light in the hand.

Does the management know that restroom attendants charge €0.50 for entry? They barely make an extra €1,000 a day. I understand tipping after using the restroom, but charging customers for using the restroom in a restaurant is beyond the pale.

I wanted to go to the bathroom. I bought a coffee and wanted to use the restroom at McDonald's, but they told me to pay with cash and gestured to me.

Rude staff. Nobody speaks any German and their English is pretty bad. I ordered a meal with fries and an extra portion of fries and the fries were cold, not even slightly warm. I said no at the till and the lady said we have fries like those from Nuremberg. I didn't want to cause any trouble and just said nothing. Afterwards there were two men on the first floor who were so rude. I've never experienced this before. She said eat and leave. Then he just said get out. Neither of them speaks any English or German. They didn't even understand what they had to say. They ruined my evening. I'll never go there again and no one would recommend it.

We went to the McDonald's at Stachus yesterday at around 3:30 a.m. to get something to eat. According to the official online hours, the store was supposed to be open from midnight to 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. to midnight, but in reality, it was completely closed. Very frustrating if you rely on that and come by especially. Please adjust the hours or ensure reliable late-night service!

The most expensive McDonald's with the worst food I've ever been to, but beyond that, being forced to pay to go to the bathroom after eating there is surreal.

The cleaning lady wants 50 cents for the toilet. What can she do? I'm a customer; I can go to the toilet whenever I want. Because of her impudence, I didn't flush and let her examine the slop.

It just gets the job done. The food is mid/meh. They don't have a screen to order from. Clean toilets but you also had to pay a lady to get in.

We were forced to enter the store because after a 10-hour bus ride, we'd run out of food and there was nothing else to eat. The branch by the train station was even worse, as there were crackers everywhere. We entered the establishment around 2 a.m. The store looked like a garbage dump; there was trash everywhere, puddles, and the benches looked as if a raccoon had been searching for something in the upholstery. The restroom cost €1 per person, and for that euro, we encountered an uncleaned and smelly oasis. While we were forcing the extremely bad food into our mouths, several homeless people were hanging around the customers, trying to snatch food. A very alert outdoor survival expert did his business behind my chair during a patrol and shortly after left a small puddle that filled the establishment with an unpleasant urine smell. However, the attentive staff was able to react quickly and wiped the puddle up with a cloth. When we'd had enough of the place, we left as quickly as possible, and after a short while, the "food" saw the light of day again. All in all, a very nauseating experience, so not recommended.

To get to the seating, you have to climb one or two flights of stairs with your tablet; unfortunately, there is no elevator.

I don't understand why every paying customer has to pay extra to use the restroom. Restroom attendants on the top floor earn a fortune, tax-free, for a service that should be free. Apparently, they don't take no for an answer; they insist on the usage fee without question.

However, the service system is older: There is no digital display, and the staff clears the food themselves. Customer service is quick and in keeping with the fast-food concept, but the new numbering system is rather impractical. Accessibility: Accessibility is not optimal. Access is limited for wheelchair users due to the lack of self-opening doors and some areas are not completely accessible. Staff & Service: The staff is generally friendly and helpful, but can seem a bit overwhelmed during busy times. It can be particularly annoying when other customers ask for change while eating. Accessibility / Public Transportation: The public transportation connection is excellent. The central location ensures very good accessibility, and opening hours are almost around the clock, which allows for maximum flexibility. Parking: There are no parking spaces available, which is common in the city center. Special features for children: Child-friendly amenities such as highchairs and play areas are available, but the focus is clearly on fast food. Summary: A very large, centrally located McDonald's with fast service, good food, and excellent public transportation connections. There are limitations regarding accessibility, parking, and the older service system.

Everything works perfectly, the cashier deserves praise, but the restroom staff are a nightmare. I was treated rudely from the very first moment, addressed as "Du," misled, and told that I HAD to pay for the restroom. I've never had to tip at any McDonald's in Germany before. If you simply don't get a receipt at the cash register, or if you throw it away with the dirty leftovers, is it within the right of the completely unauthorized cleaners to ask if you have a receipt? I've been told several times in the back seat, "Hmm, you don't have any money." This last time, it reached a fever pitch—the workers started referring to my nationality, insulting me, and harassing my friends who were just standing next to me. When they finally let me use the restroom, they yelled at me that I was doing "pee, pee, persimmon, persimmon, persimmon." The place is nice, but I doubt I'll ever go there again after such behavior.

The worst Macdonalds I’ve seen in my life. It is very dirty, they didn’t give us reciept. The smell is not good. Just awful. And you have to pay for toilet even though you paid for food.

Since we were traveling with suitcases, it was inconvenient for us to go upstairs, so we sat at the bar. One unpleasant moment was the restroom visit: A woman very pushy stopped us and demanded 50 cents. I told her that I was a guest and therefore didn't have to pay – she was visibly annoyed. I then asked the staff, and they confirmed that the restrooms are free for guests. So don't be alarmed. A particularly positive point: Our cashier was very friendly and helpful – a big thank you for that!

You should be shy to ask more than 4 EUR for a bottle of water

The quality is appalling. I've given this branch a chance several times, at different times of day and even on different days of the week. The fries feel like they've been left over from the day before, and they're cold and soggy. The same goes for the nuggets and burgers. Other branches do a better job.

In Italy, it's much better!! The fries are good. I got the grilled ones, and I have to say, they're crispier and more flavorful than the regular ones. THE CHICKENBURGER IS NOT A GOOD PART OF THE MATTER!! The bread is shiny and cheap, and there's NO white sauce, miserably replaced by a sour-spicy sauce that doesn't really fit the bill. I prefer the place in Pieve Fissiraga (Lo)!!!!

The cleaning ladies demand entry to the restroom. Anyone who doesn't pay isn't allowed in. As a guest, access to the restroom is normally free. Payment is voluntary. In my opinion, the store management needs to improve this.

I never write reviews, but this McDonald's was the worst I've ever experienced. Sauces were forgotten, unfriendly brushing off when asked, the meat was far dry, no sauce on the burger and to make matters worse, the toilet itself was chargeable for customers. Most terrible McDonald's experience, never there again!

It's a busy branch, but the staff are very helpful. There wasn't an elevator to take our strollers upstairs, but the security guard and cashier were very kind enough to help us. They helped carry the trays and take our strollers out.

I saw live how he played around with his nose and then flipped the burgers, after which he didn't spit into his elbow but into the crowd and once I saw LIVE how his nose snot fell into the fries. Also once fries fell down and he just put them back in the bag and touched them without gloves.

But that wasn't even the worst part. When we tried to resolve the issue, we were simply ignored—as if we were the ones to blame for the order being messed up. No consideration, no apology. We were literally brushed off. It felt like we were just a nuisance, like we weren't entitled to proper treatment. The feeling of being taken for fools is probably what hit us the hardest. Instead of taking care of the matter, we were made to feel like we weren't even allowed to complain because we supposedly didn't know any better. This indifference towards customers is simply unacceptable. What a bitter taste we've left in our mouths! It's simply unbelievable that you have to experience something like this at a chain like McDonald's – you normally expect at least the bare minimum of respect and service. But instead, you just feel ripped off and disappointed. We will definitely never come back. We won't be going back to McDonald's until they fundamentally change their service. I can only advise everyone to ask themselves whether there aren't better alternatives where you, as a customer, are at least still valued.

Hello, I wanted to get a Happy Meal for my son today. Unfortunately, there was no hammerhead shark. There were no Playmobil toys at all. We were coming back from vacation and we actually have a tradition of going to McDonald's once in a while. I'm disappointed. What's the point? There were only 100 of the same Minecraft toys - a real shame. Not recommended.

We wanted breakfast, but unfortunately, there was none. We could only buy something to go at 6:30. Eating in the restaurant was unfortunately not possible at that time.

The Chicken Big Mac is one of the most disgusting things I've ever eaten. Also, I received plant-based chicken nuggets instead of regular chicken nuggets. An experience that traumatized me, as I have a strong aversion to plant-based supplements. The Fanta was fine.

Well, the bacon & egg McDuffins were already hard for the customers who might come in, and were accordingly "chewy" 😬 When I had to go to the restroom, I asked them not to take my coffee away. But when I came back, it was gone. At least they're trying to keep the store tidy. However, when I asked about my coffee, they made me a new one, so it wasn't bad at all. 😉 But in terms of appearance and the cleanliness of the restrooms, this is one of the best McDs I've ever seen.

The food was okay, but due to the relatively small restaurant area, the seating was pretty close together. There are definitely nicer branches, but otherwise, it was perfectly fine.
