McDonald's in München

I received the wrong order at the McDrive again. Check your bag, especially at the restaurant; you'll thank me later.

I waited half an hour for my food: apparently my order was simply ignored.

I'm really sorry, but how incompetent can you be?! They forgot both the drink and the sauces with the Happy Meal. In fact, there were no sauces at all. The gift and the bag of apples weren't packed either... it's awful! The four employees were chatting while they were packing, which is fine... but then they really shouldn't forget anything!

Completely unmotivated sales team. The counter was empty, yet my 7-year-old, who wanted to buy an ice cream, was not served. The three of them chatted instead, and he was sent to the vending machine. The lady with the long blonde hair and the one with the long black hair both seemed uninterested (November 20, 2025, 6:48 PM).

The boss comments on and laughs at the customer along with the employees. Wishing his unprofessional staff bon appétit is apparently too complicated. Tough luck for you, not for me. Never again.

We wanted to order at the counter, which apparently isn't possible at this McDonald's. The woman very rudely told us to order from the tray. The service was exceptionally unfriendly; they simply placed the tray in front of us without a word.

I know it's unfair that this branch has to take the fall, but we've already been there. For me, McDonald's is pure hypocrisy. No more lids or straws, but instead of admitting they want to save costs, they're trying to portray themselves as "environmentally conscious," while in the background all the waste still ends up unsorted in the general waste bin. That's not only extremely unbelievable, it's also simply customer-unfriendly—condensation makes the cups slippery, a real nightmare, especially with kids 🙄, and with the amount of ice cream they pour in without asking, it's practically impossible to drink properly from an open cup; you're constantly spitting ice cream back into it—really great. I always appreciate alternatives, but if chocolate ice cream is only available vegan, then it's simply not an alternative, it's the only vegan option. And since all milk alternatives are largely made from water, they simply taste watery and aren't the desired taste experience for people who neither want to nor need to avoid milk (e.g., due to lactose intolerance). The burger was only lukewarm, and there was no melted cheese because the necessary temperature wasn't reached. It was also quite bland; the dominant flavor of the Royal Cheese was "salty." It takes some doing to completely mask the taste of beef. The fries were edible for about 30 seconds, after which they were just hard and dry. The nuggets, on the other hand, were surprisingly good today—tasty, juicy, and tender. What really annoyed me, though, was the Happy Meal. It was supposed to include squishmallows. We ordered squishmallows at the terminal. What we received was junk without any explanation. No apology, no compensation, no "when they restock, come back with your receipt and you'll get something decent." No, they just gave me junk without any explanation. And not only that. It was THREE-YEAR-OLD junk, namely a paper craft kit for a movie that was just released at the time—basically a promotional gift. An absolutely embarrassing performance for such a large company. After our visit (and a brief interlude with the awful McDonald's app), I know again, for the next few years, why I'm a Burger King fan.

Terribly packaged. The pickles and cheese were just lying next to the burger in the box. Apple turnovers were missing. The drive-thru window area was filthy. Unfriendly staff at the counter. This should be reported to headquarters or to Mr. Wallraff! Never again!

I've been there twice and had two bad experiences.

We were in the store today and had a Big Salad. It's a shame that the shelf life was long overdue, and they're still selling it instead of making it fresh. You can clearly see that on the sticker on the package.

Unfortunately, the fries were soggy and the burger patty was really dry. The staff was very friendly, and the food was ready quickly. I find the service terminals not very intuitive; I always have to go to the counter to order, after giving up in despair at the terminal. I always enjoy coming to this smaller branch; it's simply quieter and not as busy.

I don't think there's much to say about McDonald's.

The restaurant was already completely closed 10 minutes before its official closing time. You can't rely on this place at all. It's outrageous.

After waiting for 3 hours (ordered via Lieferando), the order was simply canceled.

The peanut cookie wasn't included, but it was listed on the bill. What a disgrace!

We made the mistake of having breakfast at this branch. Only after our visit did I read the reviews, which I would agree with wholeheartedly. We had to wait a full 20 minutes for our order. Fast food is different. After such a long wait, you'd expect the food to be picture-perfect. Far from it; it looked like it had been slapped together. Strangely, the ordered items were ready for pickup after about 10 minutes, according to the display board. This was completely untrue; instead, the numbers ready for pickup were called out verbally afterward. I fear they're trying to embellish statistics here. Furthermore, the restrooms were in a deplorable state at 10 a.m. We had been to the Oktoberfest the day before and can say that the restrooms there were cleaner despite being used thousands of times more. I'm only giving it 2 stars because I'm not familiar with such conditions at McDonald's and believe this is an isolated incident.

We always had the same problem with both delivery and in-store orders. Usually, things were missing, either toys or burgers. With delivery, it's difficult to judge whether the product is in the bag, as the delivery person has to move on quickly. When I ask whether I can still get my product, I'm always told that we have to come by with the receipt, so now I have to use up my gas and waste my time.

THERE IS NO MORE FAST (-FOOD) you have to wait over 10 minutes for a small order.

Our takeaway order (No. 261, 52.xx euros on 14.09.25 at 7:55 PM) was incomplete. Two items were missing (one portion of fries, one portion of chicken nuggets). Disappointing and unacceptable. AV

Ordered food there via UberEats. Paid! NEVER received the delivery!

Happy Meal couldn't be ordered at all and was simply deducted from my online order. A nugget was missing, as was the caramel sauce in my milkshake. The fried potatoes had half a regular fries in them. We had to wait longer to order our food, and the restrooms weren't clean.

The food was delicious, everything was warm and crispy, but one HUGE downside is that you have to pay 0.50 cents per napkin. And that's really awful! So if you visit this McDonald's, bring your own napkins!

The McDonald's at Situlistraße 6 in Munich is a smaller branch, but very clean and modern. The kiosks where you can order your food directly are convenient. For families, there's a children's playground, making a visit with children enjoyable. The parking lot isn't the largest, but since the restaurant is somewhat secluded, it's almost always easy to find a spot. Overall, a typical McDonald's with a good standard and some modern amenities.

After the Bayern game, I had a quick bite to eat. And didn't wait long for the food.

It was ok but there are much better run McDonald’s.

I ate here on August 1st and 5th. The first time, I had an upset stomach, and now again. The four options were prepared in an unpleasant way, and I'm looking into it... The MCD district management should do their own checks. The front-of-house server was handling everything on his own. He was constantly clearing away food and checking the toilets. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this MCD.

The toilets are so, so, so disgusting. Dirty, soapy, so empty, and they stink.

The food is just McS food, as you'd expect. The quality is pretty good, and the wait time is perfectly acceptable. Usually not too crowded, either.

I don't understand the bad reviews here. Maybe I just got lucky. I had a drive-thru, it was quick, and everything was freshly prepared and delicious.

We ordered nuggets and fries to take away today. The fries were forgotten, and the nuggets were mixed with vegan nuggets (see picture, different consistency) without prior notice. They do whatever they want here. It's better to drive 5 minutes further to the McDonald's in the Euroindustriepark, where you get what you order.

Our child was playing on the play tower. It was messy, and there was trash lying around inside. There was smeared tip sauce everywhere. Unfortunately, the slide was also covered in it, which our son didn't notice until after he had slid down. And unfortunately, the staff only went to clean after the incident. 🤬👎

Not recommended for takeout. Out of 5 orders, 3 forgot something; today it was 6 nuggets. It's annoying and confirms that the packaging is unfortunately a bit disorganized. It works much better for others.

The restrooms are so dirty. No soap. I don't understand why this isn't monitored by the authorities. Unfortunately, the restrooms at many McDonald's are so dirty. A shame

The staff was totally unfriendly and unmotivated, and they simply kept our change. Otherwise, the food was good, with amazing fries.

The staff is extremely unfriendly, and the Mc Donald's Sundae ice cream is terrible. It's just water and doesn't taste like vanilla at all. It used to be great. Prices are increasing, quality is declining, and the staff are incredibly unfriendly. McDonald's doesn't seem to care anymore. This was my last visit there.

Most of the employees I've met are crazy and unmotivated. They don't make food properly. When you point this out, they get angry and raise their voices. This is the worst McDonald's in Munich. They should all be retrained.

We wanted to order something from the McDrive. When we placed our order, we were told that only cash payments were accepted. When we picked up/paid, we were told that cash wasn't accepted and that we should come inside. Aside from the lack of friendliness when ordering, the lady also refused to take the two steps to the checkout, thus making the McDrive possible. Impossible! Then why would they open the McDrive and accept orders?! Not the first time we've driven away from this McDonald's in shock without eating!

Very, very good. An exceptionally friendly and helpful employee. I was immediately impressed. He helped me with my order and gave me advice, and he even brought the food to my table. Great, keep it up, I'll be back. That's what you call top-notch service and friendliness, thank you for that! 😃

Poor service from the staff!!! I'm really annoyed! The first time we ordered home delivery, two Cokes and two cups we paid for simply weren't included! The second time – today – we again bought a meal for two and also ordered a new Big Tasty, which I really wanted to try. But when we got home, we discovered it wasn't wrapped! That's really not right! There weren't many customers – but even so, the staff seemed unwilling to check the order carefully and do their jobs properly. In the end, for the second time in a row, we simply gave away money – to McDonald's. Thank you for this "service"!

The ice tea is clearly not hygiene. The cup is either moldy or has some stuff in it.

Poorly managed. The woman at the counter seems never be taught about the very basic manners. It takes forever for them to realize they need to prepare your order, and you won’t get all the things you PAID FOR.

Poor location. It's not convenient to check out. The service is good, the girls are trying very hard. The kitchen is very unscrupulous, they put everything you need in the set. Disappointed.

A family of five only has an hour and a half to eat at this establishment, regardless of the delay in food preparation, before they are fined €40 by their parking management company. I paid the fine, but believe me, this €40 will come from your account because we will boycott MCDONALD'S from now on. For this you are missing out on hundreds of profits, and I thank the investigation company you work with for the savings and consideration of our health. McDonald's only had benefits for socializing, but with a 1.5 hour limit, which replaces the point.

Seriously. I ordered Double Hamburger Royal Cheese. I took one bite, noticed something weird that definitely did NOT look like sesame and realised it was a human fingernail. FINGERNAIL. I was absolutely disgusted by it and never EVER going to order from this place again.

This small MC branch has been there for at least around 25 years. Always very good fries 🍟 but the apple turnovers are also super tasty 😋. Remain with kind regards and keep it up

It's a shame that the extra requests are always simply forgotten! In my case, the extra meat on the BigMac even though it says so on the packaging! If you just want to take something quick to eat, I don't want to check every time whether the order is correct! This is the second time now.

Ordered McPlant nuggets. They were super old and hard. And then two chicken nuggets in the McPlants??!!?? Of course, you only notice it after you bite into it. Did they only have 18 old McPlants and didn't want to make a new batch?

I get a McSundae almost every day. The ice cream machine is never broken. 5 stars for consistency.

Unfortunately our visit was disappointing. Even though it wasn't busy, we had to wait almost 10 minutes for a small order. Instead of preparing or serving the food, the staff stood together laughing, talking and hugging while we waited. The food was completely cold when we received it, the fries were obviously made in old frying fat and tasted inedible. Even though we ordered “for consumption on site”, everything was packaged and handed out without napkins. Shortly before closing time (approx. 40 minutes), an employee started putting up the chairs, which gave the impression that guests were no longer welcome. Overall the service was unfriendly and the experience disappointing. A visit to this branch is definitely not recommended.

Absolutely disappointing! The employees obviously care about everything but their work. My food was served completely differently than what I ordered at the terminal. Nobody seems to care if the orders are correct. The organization and service really leave a lot to be desired. I definitely won't go here again!

Disgusting service, unfriendly staff!

Unfriendly and disrespectful I was at the drive-thru and the employees made a fool of me about why I was standing on the left, even though it was clearly marked that the waiting line was there. As if that wasn't enough, the manager then came out and said in a disrespectful tone, "Don't you have a driver's license?" Such behavior is completely unacceptable and has nothing to do with good customer service. Very disappointing!

A good place, especially in winter, the environment was warm. Their food was not bad either. The price was reasonable, neither expensive nor cheap.

I've never really been dissatisfied before, but today it didn't work at all. At first the order came completely wrong (but they were then remade). Then there was an employee, tall, slim, dark hair a little darker. This man walks at a snail's pace through the aisles to distribute the food. While you are eating he takes the tray away from you to clean up and make space. When we wanted to get up to leave, he tore our last tray off the table and said "NO NO, STAY CALM AND ORDER MORE, even more, more" we each ordered 1x normal menu and 1x a dessert. If this man doesn't feel like doing his job, he should quit and not make stupid comments to customers. ADDENDUM Today, December 25th, I ordered a mcflurry. I received this 1/3 filled cup. It was sour and half empty.. I forwarded it to headquarters

Easy ordering with the in store kiosk, inexpensive meal deals, and nice comfortable indoor seating. Food came to the table within 3-5 minutes of ordering. Drive through also available.

It was better and cheaper. If the price goes up, I expect something good, but unfortunately that's not always the case here

Greetings to the parking depot, If you sit down with your family for more than 90 minutes on an empty Monday evening, you will receive a parking fine of €40.00. I probably don't even have to talk about the quality of the food or service in a fast food shop. Simply embarrassing.

I was there with my wife and child and parked in the parking lot there. Ate for 50 - 60 euros. Got a letter in the house today. Should pay a €35 penalty because I parked too long. Family-friendly is different. It was also the last time I go there. For that amount I can eat better somewhere else and don't have to pay a penalty.

Standard McDonald's, so food and furnishings okay. Food was brought to the table quickly and warm. TIP FOR OTHER GUESTS: Check that your order is complete (in the drive-thru but also if consumed on site!) We missed toys with both Happy Meals. Unfortunately, customer friendliness is not a priority here; employees tend to seem overwhelmed and annoyed, especially when complaining about an incomplete order. Even though the restaurant manager, when I asked for two paper straws for the children's drinks on the way home, really kindly told me that there were only shakes left and that I could find them on the website and app, I unfortunately have to say that here can only find the following. According to app/internet: "Since 2020, we have only issued straws for on-site consumption upon request. In the next step, we will completely do without straws and switch to paper lids for out-of-home sales that have a small opening for drinking. This will save us around 560 tons of plastic per year." Sometimes you should have your heart in the right place and have some flexibility when it comes to children and complaints/requests, that would be customer-friendly.

Be careful people if you go there with your family if you park for longer than 1 hour you will immediately get a fine of 46€. They are already waiting in the parking lot and watching the people from McDonald's specially organized so if you want to eat in peace then it's better to park somewhere else where you can just park and can eat in peace

Extremely disappointing service. Items are constantly forgotten, e.g. the fries in the menu. Been ripped off a few times in this way by this McDonald's

Eating normally like in every Mc, with 2 children and 2 happy meals you have to justify yourself if both toys are missing because they don't believe you. If you then need a lid for your drink, you will be yelled at about what's missing, and there won't even be any toilet paper in the toilet. Based on experience, I would say next time it would be better to starve until you get to an MC in a rural direction. Unfortunately you have to give at least one star, otherwise you can't post, otherwise there wouldn't be a single star for service and ambience

A McDonalds like the others. Fast service.

Unfortunately very dirty! You won't be noticed! Restaurant gives the impression of a train station meeting place. The employees were so very nice, but clearly overwhelmed! There is really a lack of personnel and structure! There is often rubbish in the entrance, just on the floor. The burger is filled very quickly and strangely, so you have to put it back upright when unpacking it. Well, it's suitable for quick, low-level food! I don't expect much from a fast food restaurant, but a bit of class and order, that's what it should be!
