McDonald's in Berlin

Unfortunately, we had another very disappointing experience at this branch. Our order was simply forgotten. After repeatedly asking where our food was, we were repeatedly told it was "in the works." It took a long time to realize that the order slip had been lost. What particularly annoyed us was that there was no apology from the staff. No "sorry," no effort to rectify the mistake—nothing. Furthermore, we ended up waiting 35 minutes, and even though it was clear that we wanted to eat in, this was ignored. Unfortunately, this wasn't the first time something like this has happened to us here. Poor service and a lack of organization seem to be no exception here. Very disappointing!

My order number wasn't on the monitor, I had to wait 15 minutes until I got to the girl who works here. And why do I have to pay for the toilet if I ordered food here?

It's a shame that the service at Berlin Central Station is so bad. In the morning at 8:00 a.m. only one person for the distribution. Nobody is there for the cash registers or with a wait of around 7 minutes. Then we waited just as long for the food (warp)...really bad for a fast food restaurant.

Absolutely disgusting. The fish burger was so dry and poorly prepared. Everything else was terrible, too. Dirty beyond belief. The restrooms are beyond words, and they even charge customers for it. DISGUSTING!!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!

The store itself is nice and the food is good according to McDonald's standards. However, I was a bit disappointed today. I had ordered and left 16 euros, but after 20 minutes I still couldn't take my order, which consisted of a drink and nuggets with salad, and had to leave without my food, otherwise I wouldn't have gotten my train. Accordingly, you should please work on time management.

I just treated myself to a vanilla shake and the employees wanted to give me a shake that was 2/3 full but pay full price and when you mention it they are still unfriendly.

The ambience is great because the Hertha BSC fan shop is in sight! In terms of price, McDonald's is now simply too expensive, because for that money you can basically go to a good restaurant. The service is sometimes good, sometimes bad, and unfortunately the staff doesn't have sufficient language skills!

I ordered 6 McNuggets and a McWrap. After about 10 minutes of waiting, my order number was on the board, but the woman said the board was broken and my number would be called. She even said it was my fault because I ordered 25 minutes before departure. After another 15 minutes I had to leave the restaurant without eating because otherwise I would miss my train. 7€ disappeared. Never again.

Don't come here if you expect FAST food

Unfortunately, there were absolutely long waiting times, even though the order was small and there wasn't much going on in front of me. The employees print out the numbers as finished so that the system doesn't notice that it's taking much longer. It literally took 31 minutes to get my order ready and I had to ask multiple times. If you have to catch a train, go somewhere else.

I waited about twenty minutes for a cup of instant green tea and a slice of strawberry cake. Then the staff replied that I had forgotten to order it. There weren't many people in the store back then. I don't understand why this happened.

The shop, the food and the employees are not working at all. Waited 10 minutes for an order. Then only received an incomplete one. No apology, no greeting, never again 😤

I think in general McDonald's is bad in Germany. Anyway, plastic food is shitty! The place was however nice and clean!

A work colleague had ordered something and only later noticed that something was missing. I offered to call her there and did so. But when I gave my name and tried to explain the situation, I was rudely brushed off by the "manager" - she actually said, "Suck my balls." and hung up. I was shocked and of course angry. I then went personally to clarify the conversation with her. I asked for the person who usually answers the phone when you call them. When the person in question came out, their demeanor matched their choice of words exactly. However, she didn't have much to say on site. Her explanation was that she thought it was a fake call - even though my number was a normal one, like the other customers. I made it clear to her that such a choice of words was completely inappropriate for a “manager”. Interestingly, the other employees were more understanding than she was. I work with people myself and my guests don't experience that kind of service. If you're so dissatisfied with your job that you treat customers this way, you might want to change careers. I won't report her, but I hope that the person above the alleged manager will handle it differently.

Yes the restaurant is full, but I would not assume something else from the location, main station in the capital of Germany. The people doing the table service were highly sympathic and even if their jobs probably not the best one in the world, to see this sympathy was really nice and you can just enjoy the humanly exchange even in small details there can be positive experience 😀

Today morning around 04:19 Am I buy coffee . One indian work they didn’t allow me to get sugar, milk and also Lid.😲. When I asking why i didn’t get this he said McDonald is closed we just offer you coffee but we didn’t gives you sugar etc… when I said I pay for it this is my right to get this why you stoping me without any reason. He is shouting on me. He screaming on me . He said to me you are an-educated?? Whaat…. I’m just only asking about my right . Omg that moment is horrible.please gives training specifically indian workers they really don’t no about customer service etc

Food: Average. I am lactose intolerant and usually order lactose-free milk or oat milk. Still, I get a stomach ache even when I personalize the order. I suspect they don't pay attention to the adjustments at all. Receptionist: They look at you like you owe them five million. Even with completely normal questions you get a condescending look. Cleaning Staff: A horrible old lady who makes you wonder if she ever had any formal education. She yelled at the customers. Since we didn't have trays, we didn't know where to dispose of our leftover food. This rude, pitiful person just insulted us about being blind. She snatched the trash out of our hands and threw it into the garbage truck, scratching my hand in the process. This is by far the most disgusting place I have visited in my entire ten days in Europe.

Had to wait over 15mins for a coffee ( after I received my order number)weren’t advised when you place an order you have to go to the till the staff then puts the details from the receipt which generates an order number. coffee wasn’t very nice. Went back a few days staff at the till was rude and grumpy tried to tell me I was missing another receipt. When the machine only produced one receipt. After trying to argue with me she decided to put the details from the receipt to produce my order number.🙄 Not sure why she just didn’t do that in the first place instead of complaining - appalling service. Wont be visiting here again service super slow.

The best McDonald’s staff works here! Not only the veggie burger is the best, but also the staff is very friendly. I think this will be my favourite branch from now onwards. Thank you to the team in the evening of 20.01.25.

Toilet coupons are not accepted, they prefer to discuss with the customer for several minutes and claim that the system will not accept it.

Bought for 2 menu consist of 2 burger each and wraps, but got only 1 instead. it wasn’t even busy yesterday night.

got the wrong mf burger, ordered the rosti one and got a der m burger but didnt realise until i got to my train. It was literally just a burger and small fries so getting that wrong is wild when it wasn't crazy busy. I'm hungover and was really excited for a rosti://

I was just travelling through, asked them kindly for some tap water. But they wouldn't get me any. I didn't had the time to stand in line and wait for an order so I had to take my nighttrain without any water. Thanks very much for denying me the basic human right of water...

Staff were very friendly and helped me with my tree nut allergy. Happy to say for a fast food restaurant they showed interest in you and provided an excellent service. I didn’t feel rushed away.

Went to McDonald's HbF Berlin on 30.12.24 and they didn't deliver fries for a dine in order. Similar on 01.01.25 when they did not deliver Hot Apple Pie. They also charge customers with receipts 50 Euro Cents to use their toilet. Spoke to the manager and he was rude about it.

Everything is fine. But there are certain points. I didn't find a toilet there. That's all of the minuses. Overall I was pleased. They served quickly. Respect for the staff. There were free places and tables. There are tables with sockets. And soft chairs. There is Wi-Fi, but ask the staff for the password right away.

Employees would rather walk over the mess on the floor than simply clear it away. A lot of dirt in the front service area. I don't even want to know what the kitchen looks like. You can't see the kitchen. The staff is unreasonable and gets angry when you ask them about the long waiting time. Food is just McDonalds but it was fresher in other restaurants. McDonald's Germany should urgently do something here. There is a complete lack of leadership here. Not a nice experience.

Ordered a cappuccino. Oat milk was not available. The one with milk tasted horrible. I have no idea whether the milk was bad or the coffee machine just hadn't been cleaned for a long time. In any case, I didn't drink the cappuccino...

It was a shame to wait over 5 minutes for fries and then they weren't even properly filled and weren't really finished either. The reason that HBF doesn't count is because in other cities at the HBF it works without any problems

A typical McDonald's. which you can like or not. So there were no surprises, except that the hamburgers weren't really warm and the cola had almost no carbon dioxide.

Great service. I have rarely experienced anything like this in a McDonalds restaurant. An employee is constantly trying to ensure that everything works and that the guests feel comfortable. He asks if everything has arrived and brings napkins. I would like that to happen everywhere.

Almost missed our train due to non-existent service. We ordered coffee directly at the counter. After paying by card, no receipt came out and the employee calmly took care of finding a solution. 2 minutes later a colleague (shift manager?) appeared. We emphasized that we would like to have the items we ordered now, otherwise we would miss our train. Here the employee (shift worker?) had an escalating effect by pointing out: “We should calm down first and the business with the cash register should take priority. That's not possible because I don't think McDonald's will give us a new ticket if we miss our train. Ultimately, the employee didn't understand a word because she didn't know German and the employee (shift manager?) took over the situation. He refused to deliver the coffee we had already paid for and gave us our money back. Luckily we reached our train in time and without coffee. The store is really the worst. You arrive hungry from a long journey, want to eat something and they say: "Take away only" because the seating area has already been closed at 8:30 p.m. to save costs. Mind you, we are here in Berlin Central Station and not in Kleinkleckersdorf. Update 4/27/22 9:55 p.m. A huge person with an unkempt long beard fends off customers with the words "It's closed." Update 11/1/24: The restaurant has unpleasant reviews deleted.

Cheese on citizens even though cheese was canceled from the veggie burger! ATTENTION all lactose sensitive people. Chip bowl was only half full. I'm so disappointed. Just a shit shop!

Well, when it comes to food, you know what you're getting. Child is happy. But Dad isn't happy at all when he has to eat fries and isn't allowed to wash his hands because there are no free toilets at the train station. Yes, I could pay 50 cents, but because someone might go to the toilet who isn't a guest, do you make all guests pay even though they consume? You even get a voucher at rest stops if you consume something. But then an employee was really nice and brought me wet wipes. The one star is not for the staff but for the company.

Worst experience ever the First thing was the wrap which i ordered was totally stick with the paper and the wrap was made unprofessionally and the morning staff i dont know who but a indian girl was speaking very rudely when i asked them to change the wrap please she said that we are making best if u dont like you can make it soo can you imagine what kind of hospitality the management provide.

Unclean and disappointing service My visit to this store was extremely unsatisfactory. Given the size of the place, you would expect everything to be well organized and available, but unfortunately that wasn't the case. The McFlurry selection was limited to the plain variety, which was disappointing. In addition, many of the ordering machines were out of order, which made the ordering process significantly more difficult and increased the impression of disorder. The service was very poor - I didn't feel welcome and my concerns were hardly taken into account. Overall, I cannot recommend this store. There is a lack of cleanliness, organization and customer-friendly service. I won't go here again.

Bad organization. I was really looking forward to breakfast, ordering went well as always and then the message that the order was ready to be picked up seemed to go quickly, but it just didn't come. Then I had to leave because it's still a train station and you have to get trains. Maybe they're playing for time here, selling the things and taking so much time that you can't pick up the order anymore. I recommend not paying there directly but only when you pick it up if you still have plans!

I don't know if the "cook" forgot his glasses or contact lenses, my girlfriend got a double cheeseburger with chille sauce instead of her chicken burger and instead of my standard double cheeseburger I got a double cheeseburger with the sweet and sour sauce that you normally have on it chickenburger has, got. We ordered separately from the machine and to take away, so unfortunately we didn't notice it until later. Difficult thing like that.

So for me it was the last time at Berlin Central Station. Simply too expensive, customer service is terrible, dirty until you look. I was only there twice, that was enough. One time I had to wait almost 12 minutes and another time I wanted to get something quick before my work and it just closed and there were only 4 people who wanted a coffee, but they weren't hungry. I would advise against getting anything at the main train station, not just McDonalds, unless you are a millionaire! Not even the baker is okay. For two normal croissants 8 euros, that's not possible

My number flashed, the food wasn't ready, when I asked, it was frantically put on a tablet, the ice cream had already been there for 3 minutes, then I told them that it was to be taken away, then a bag was placed on my food. I was then allowed to put my food into a bag myself and left with half-melted ice cream and the bag I had packed myself

Typical McDonald's, nothing special. You can sit and there are offers via the app - quite okay for the train station. Ordering via the app didn't work.

I fully understand why the toilets are chargeable, but if you eat something, they should be provided free of charge or via a redeemable voucher. The order number display on the screen didn't work, so the employee, with whom I could only communicate in English, left my order there and left it cold!

I payed for refill and I didn’t get to refill this is a scam. There is food poisoning in the food and it is incredibly disgusting. It took 30 minutes to get my order. I ordered a cheeseburger and a refill cola it is the worst service I’ve ever experienced in my life. I would not recommend this McDonalds to anyone if you want to get sick then this is the place for you.

Worst food/shop I've seen in the last 12 years. Simply slap the Mc Flurry on top, put the sauce at the bottom and add 2 crumbs of Oreo on top. When I returned it, I was yelled at that it was always done that way. The store is not recommended.

I'm lactose intolerant and ordered the Hafer based ice late. It tasted funny and now I feel sick. An allergic person could die! And the toilets are so dirty it's sickening

So after a travel by train we bought for 20euros, still when we wanted to use bathroom we were told that we need to pay 50cents. We did not have small changes, the staff did not want to hear anything. Very unfriendly and stupid staff. I do not recommend. Btw the service is slow and the capuccino not good. I do not recommend, and I am angry. Not often I post negative reviews on Google, but today this staff manage to upset me. You lost a customer, never again.

Long queue for take out orders. Dine in orders are faster, if still you want take away, just ask for paper bags 🤭😉
