McDonald's in Berlin

I bought new products at this McDonald's today. I bought three burgers, but they only gave me two. I'm very disappointed with this treatment. I'll attach a photo to prove I'm missing a burger!

No possibility to wash or disinfect hands

No toilet for weeks, no way to wash hands.

I left my cookie behind to throw away trash and it got stolen, not cool man

Super annoying to see the food getting cold even though it was freshly made. Absolutely super relaxed employees who work like snails and run around aimlessly. Employees who have never heard of hygiene and order in their lives, cold food, annoyed faces on the other side because everyone has to wait forever for two items. The restaurant manager runs around on the night shift in his private clothes and has his phone to his ear the whole time. I thought Hermannplatz was bad, but you at the Ostbahnhof really top everything. Always the same with you.

Absolutely unacceptable! I ordered food here and wanted to use the restroom as usual – they simply sent me to the station toilet where I have to pay because my own toilet supposedly "doesn't work." What kind of service is this? I'm a paying customer and I have a right to a functioning, free restroom – period. You can't even wash your hands before eating – a hygiene disaster and a clear violation of your duty to guests. Official complaints to consumer protection agencies will follow. This is not how you treat customers!

Yall reviewing this place like its a fine dining lol pay more somewhere else and ull get better experience.

Just to say that when my breakfast order was messed up (and unnoticed until I was seated on the train), I wrote to McDonald’s and received a fair response (apology and voucher). And for that I am glad.

No restroom and unbearable wait times. After 40 minutes, I finally got a Big Mac meal. Very disappointing.

The food was delicious and the atmosphere was good, but you had to pay to go to the toilet!

I ordered at the ticket machines, and there were no tickets available. I went to explain my situation and was sent to someone else like a dog. I'm also quite surprised by the cleanliness; customers aren't bothered, and no one comes to clean! A shame for a 24/7 service.

We ordered several takeout meals for our group – and half of them were missing! Some were missing burgers, others were missing fries. Pretty disappointing, especially when you're out with several people. That really wasn't good service.

The burgers were prepared by the employees without gloves – just a minute before, one of them had first scratched his head with his hands, then touched all possible surfaces, and then started preparing the burger (there was no mention of hand washing at all).

Ice tea was almost just water, no ice cubes, hardly any taste. Fries tasted extremely like sadness and were poorly salted. There was chilli cheese sauce on the Bigmac. Not recommended. Please change something essential about the business, you have the feeling that savings are being made wherever possible.

Standard order, 2 burgers, 1 fries, 1 drink. Cash payment. Orders that were placed on site after me were served faster despite the larger order. After 30 minutes of waiting without much crowd, I left. JUICE SHOP endless

Apparently the employees can't count to 5 because (as is often the case) the burgers you paid for are missing. And apparently they don't recognize different types of shakes because I ordered a vanilla shake and got a strawberry shake. The employees seem to be trying to make a lot of money, more income, less distribution of goods, preferably 0 stars! Always check your order when ordering take away!

I was there today on Saturday around 6am, there were 2 people in front of me and I waited 20 minutes for my order! That doesn't work at all. When the unmotivated lady at the counter said they were understaffed, it couldn't be any quicker. But during the 20 minute wait, 2 of 4 employees calmly go out the door together to smoke. In addition, there was leftover food and packaging waste lying around at almost every table and the tray trolley was full even though there was nothing going on. And there was a homeless man sitting in the restaurant who smelled to no end and he just got two large portions of fries with ketchup without paying. Cannot recommend this store to anyone and will not visit it again.

An apple turnover was simply brought instead of raspberries (supposedly empty). Toilets not open. The sugar and milk ordered were missing from the coffee. The train station is generally disgusting.

Tragedy. Avoid!!! Toilet out of order. They promise a refund when you use the toilet at the station, but when you come for a refund, they ignore you and you get nothing. There is no selection of coffees at all, only plain black. We ordered two sauces for breakfast and only got one. They cheat on everything they can! Additionally, there are homeless people everywhere and it smells like crap. The cleanliness of the restaurant also leaves much to be desired. I've never been to such a crappy McDonald's in my life, and others are luxurious compared to this one.

I was there on 4/6/25 and it was an absolute disaster. I wanted to grab something to eat quickly before the train left. After 25 minutes of waiting, like many others, I still didn't have my food. Otherwise I would have missed my train so I had to leave. Instead of my order of almost 23 euros, I got two cheeseburgers and a few cold nuggets. Worst McDonald's ever. It felt like no one could take responsibility. Never again!

Very friendly staff. Unfortunately, the taste of the burgers has remained in the past and the burger falls apart in your hand when you eat it.

Ate there. The child was denied the toilet, even though they should have one (due to their size). It doesn't work like that. The waitress should be ashamed of themselves. I hope she feels the same way with her children.

As a professional mcflurry sommelier with a confirmed diploma from Harvard, I leave this establishment 4 stars. I would like to point out the following pros and cons: + Fast order fulfillment + Convenient location + There is a second floor with tables - They put very few Oreo cookies in the ice cream (attached photo) - The mcflurry packaging was hot, causing the ice cream to melt rather quickly. I advise you to work on the location of the ice cream machines and perhaps at the next inspection I will give out a fifth star.

The bathroom they said was out of order. The ladies on duty on April 19, 2025 at 2 pm told me that with the receipt I would enter the public toilets opposite for free because they had an agreement with them due to the poor service. Absolutely false information, we had to pay for the bathroom (1 euro per person!!!!!), they only said it to get rid of us. Not recommended!

The staff forgot my spoons and my sauces. My friend's burger wasn't laid out properly

If you want a quick bite, this is not the place for you. The order takes a long time. The coffee machine won't melt

Stopped in after midnight. Atmosphere was not very desirable. Homeless guy came in and took food from the garbage pit it on one of the tables and ate it right there right next to us. We had to move tables because he was so stinky. No one from the staff told him to leave.

Food was normal Mc food. Service was rubbish. My friend ordered a McPlant without sauce. Received a regular McCrispy. When she went to switch it she got the comment “you get what you get”. The receipt clearly said her order. Then she got her good order and the burger was almost cold. To make it better, my wrap was completely stuck to the paper. Wouldn’t return here.

Burger was cold and didn't look tasty, but we waited "only" 10 minutes for it. For just under €4 this is very disappointing.

Already on Monday morning at 5 a.m., this McDonald's restaurant is disappointing and causing unnecessary frustration: - All tables were dirty and not cleared. - Although many orders are made “to go”, sometimes you just want to eat in peace and quiet - unfortunately that was hardly possible. - I wanted to order a tea with a cheesecake for €5.49 as it was shown on the display case. But this menu was not available at the self-order terminal. Instead, I had to buy the two items individually for a total of €7.99. I hope this issue will be resolved soon - especially for guests who come over early in the morning. I will definitely not visit this branch again

An absolute joke – never again! Yesterday I was at McDonald's at Ostbahnhof and unfortunately I had to use the toilets. They also asked for money for this - and what do you get in return? A completely dirty, smelly toilet that looks like it hasn't been cleaned in days. Dirt everywhere, paper on the floor, urine residue – just disgusting! If you're going to charge money, at least a minimum level of cleanliness should be guaranteed. That was just disgusting and absolutely unacceptable. Shame on you!

The store is DISGUSTING! You are harassed by people scrounging, everything stinks. You have house rules, why do you tolerate something like that? Therefore order canceled! Staff absolutely incompetent.

Food is fast but lots of homeless people around. Double chocolate pie was not good and the sweet and chilli chicken wrap was not great either.

I've had similar experiences with this chain over and over again: when ordering at the machine, I don't get a printout and therefore no pickup number, and no one seems to be responsible. You might as well just burn your money. Is this really just a technical problem, or perhaps a scam to rip off customers? And why doesn't this happen with the competition?

I ordered a breakfast sandwich and a roll. The roll was sitting on the counter for a good 15 minutes while I waited for my breakfast sandwich. If I knew my meal would take that long to make, I would have just waited for the train. When I asked the kid working, he just repeatedly told me it was almost done. Next time I'm in Ostbahnhof, I'm skipping breakfast.

Terrible experience at McDonald's The worst service I have ever experienced! The staff is absolutely unprofessional - unfriendly and rude. Today, March 8, 2025, the team was particularly rude. The employees prepare the burgers without gloves and just throw them down. In addition, something is almost always missing from the orders. You really have to check everything carefully every time! Such poor service is unacceptable. I definitely won't visit this McDonald's again.

The branch is generally clean and well organized. The staff is friendly The seating areas are sufficient and the toilet can be used free of charge as a customer

I'll start with the positives 1. Very convenient location 2. Beautiful cafe design 3. Orders are prepared quickly The only negative is very expensive food (for such establishments)

A case for health supervision. The burgers are literally squashed before being packed up after they've sat outside for ages and gotten cold. The fries? Simply thrown upside down in the bag as if they were destined for the trash. Cold, bland, loveless – just disgusting.

Ein Fall für die Gesundheitsaufsicht. Die Burger werden vor dem Einpacken regelrecht zerquetscht, nachdem sie erstmal ewig draußen rumlagen und kalt wurden. Die Pommes? Einfach umgedreht in die Tüte geworfen, als wären sie für den Müll bestimmt. Kalt, fad, lieblos – einfach nur widerlich.

Awful area, nothing works - electricity switched off, toilets closed. That’s how you try to avoid homeless people or what is this for? Super bad.

Can’t believe this, worst situation and plus worker not even answered my thank you. Toilet closed and no one there to clean after eating. Worst customer service. One of customer with kid was asking for toilet and workers were just trying to ignore her, so sad.

Although not a fastfood/McDonald‘s person myself, I took some eager young friends here and they were totally thrilled. Not too bad compared to the usual tiny M’s joints around town, with vases of (real) tulips on the tables and pretty friendly service considering the crowds.

I ordered a Mc Smart menu as normal and after about 10-20 minutes I was able to pick up my order, but the security was, so to speak, a random NPC (No Player Character (bot)). I walked out of McDonald's and then some dude talked to me and gave me the quest to buy a burger... So in plain English, he wanted me to buy a burger for him (I said no) and then he did said to me: "It's really nice when you have something to eat and watch Netflix." All well and good, I just went to the Sbahn, wanted to go home and a new quest giver came on the Sbahn and I felt really ripped off! I looked at the quest giver and he had a bottle of beer in his hand and had spit in the train on the ground. And then he shouted at all the players who were in the Sbahn server and said this: "If God steps in a mine"! And then he said something else. Well, best review of all here, so there you go. Always get coffee here. The cappuccino is very good and the service is friendly. Especially since this is one of the few shops that is open at night, so you can still get something to eat during shift work

This McDonald's branch consistently fails to pack online orders correctly. Every time at least one item is missing - without exception. We regularly give the branch a new chance in the hope that something has changed. But the result remains the same every time: disappointing. My conclusion: online orders here are a complete waste of time and money.

Stuff tricks with order numbers, marks orders done before it is actually complete. This way playing with McDnlds tracking system to show reduced order processing time.

Waited an hour for mcsmart menu and they got it wrong

Me and my sister got food poisoning here! We ate here 3 days ago and then got food poisoning (Google says that food poisoning takes exactly 72 hours to break out) I was just shocked

The food is like any other McDonald's, but the cleanliness of the branch in the evening leaves a lot to be desired. The tables are not cleaned regularly after the last guests and you can often find lots of scraps of paper on the floor or on the tables. Sometimes there is a very unpleasant smell in the branch as homeless people go in and sleep on the seats. The staff seems like they are reluctant to do their jobs.

It smelled so badly in there I thought I would faint and that dude literally threw the food into the bag.

On the way home, my brother and I decided to stop at McDonald's for the train ride. It's practical that there is a branch in the train station. After ordering at the terminal, we didn't really have to wait long for the order. For whatever reason, we didn't check whether the order was packed correctly and then found out on the train that only the drinks, the fries and curly fries and the one specially ordered cheeseburger were correct. We paid for a Big Tasty Bacon menu, we received a Royal TS, the extra McChicken Classic was swapped for chicken nuggets. We subsequently paid more than we received. With the application I would definitely like to point out that it is very important to check your order every time before you leave the store. Mistakes can always happen, but such large differences are unacceptable. What we received was also good and tasty, but unfortunately it was still disappointing because it wasn't what was ordered.

I love spending €5.99 just for my order to end up cold, unappetizing, and bland🥰🥰🥰 First time drinking hot chocolate COLD lol. My food was also cold and felt like throwing up after eating it. The staff seem nice but uninterested (I'd be too if some customers acted belligerent towards me, yikes) I guess get a coffee here since other patrons seem all smiles when leaving with one. Honestly, if I had read the reviews I'd have went to the rewe downstairs and gotten myself some snacks instead. Hopefully this will be my last visit to any mcdonald's, they always entice me when I have to kill time and it's always a hit or miss.

I dined at this establishment with my best friend. The digital ordering process actually went smoothly if it hadn't crashed. On top of that, money was charged for a milkshake so that it was served in a reusable cup. When my friend brought her food, she was cold-bloodedly denied a Coke, which she had to use her last strength to get herself. After we were finally able to start the meal, an uninvited guest came into the restaurant. A homeless man stormed the restaurant and begged for food. After we politely rejected him, he went around and came back to our table. After asking again and politely refusing from us, the wretch didn't want to leave. With cat-like speed he reached into my McNuggets to steal them. My girlfriend, full of adrenaline, slapped him on the claw like an Asian mother. After this action, the monster immediately disappeared. Unfortunately I had to throw away my remaining McNuggets. At first we laughed in complete shock, as we had only been in Berlin for a few hours.

On the second floor, a bald man was talking loudly on the phone and kept looking into my mouth.

Just paid 7.49 for a Big Rösti that was really dry. The meat had probably been in the UHC for 30 minutes. Get this under control with the holding times. Just annoying stuff like that. (It was to be taken away, so no chance of an exchange) Table service not available as there are no signs at the kiosk. Tables all full of empty trays and trash. Where is the shift manager?

Experience today: First we waited 8 minutes for the order, then the fries were only half full, cold and, last but not least, they charged 50 cents for ketchup. Unfortunately super disappointing...

Food from local McDonald's and dirty toilets

Ordered online, the code from the drink was collected beforehand. I had a menu and ordered nuggets. The burger was missing... how could something like that happen?!

The staff is quick and friendly, however the chicken nuggets were quite dry.

If you wait more than 15 minutes for your order in a fast food restaurant, just hearing one thing in response to a complaint: it's not finished yet, nothing else, it's already malicious. Mind you, in a place where a lot of people stop for lunch, I would have liked to have had more than 5 minutes to eat

The table where I want to eat is not wiped and is very dirty. The people I work with can't speak German or English! I saw one of the employees making fries from the deep fryer. The food looks pretty unappetizing. Service: So now we come to the fact that the service here is very slow, so it may be that you have something to do, but for a menu like cola and citizens it really doesn't take 1 hour👎

I took the food with me, there was only 0.3 l of 0.5 l in it, I forgot the fries, a real juice shop. Most people don't understand German. The toilet attendant takes 0.50 cents for every visit to the toilet (even if it is obvious that you have eaten there) and puts it in her pocket. They put a slice of tomato in a Big Mac. 😂😂😂👍🏼

The toilets can only be used for an additional charge of €0.50, which I personally find to be a disgrace, as the toilet facilities in a restaurant should be free to use (at least for paying guests).

I just ordered something at the counter and specifically asked how long it would take. That I only have a maximum of 5 minutes because I have to get to the train. The person at the counter then said to me: that's fine and this isn't a problem! I then ordered and paid. Otherwise I definitely wouldn't have ordered. After over 8 minutes I still didn't have an order. I have clearly stated and signaled several times that I need my order now because I have to go. Then there was a repeated nod. But in the end no one cared. Nobody understood German either. Although I speak English and have spoken to people in English, I had the impression that they didn't really understand that either. Ultimately I had to leave the branch. I paid for everything but didn't receive any food. I wouldn't have ordered if we hadn't been clearly told beforehand that the 5 minutes wouldn't be a problem.

Every week at 3 a.m. I picked up food after partying. They saved my ass. Load top. And nice service. Got 6 chicken nuggets on the house.

Food was cold and the potato wedges were wrong, had a large menu and had almost nothing in it and the cleanliness left something to be desired and the people had no thanks. The burgers don't look like they do on the signs, they're not made with love, they're just lashed up.
