McDonald's in Berlin

Ordered to take away. Burgers were bone dry and what I ordered wasn't in the bag, but something completely different. Once you're a long way away, you can't go back. You don't want to assume any intention, but something like that is completely wrong.

Under McDonald's standards there is a lot to be said for not going there.

Nuggets really smells like oil. Drinks are served without lids, unhygienic. Current Happy Meal toys only on the display case. There are always and only books.

It started yesterday, December 9th, 2024. I was on vacation and had a shawarma. Late in the evening I had a slight stomach ache, but I didn't think anything of it. The next day I woke up in the morning with my stomach and intestines grumbling slightly. I didn't have any pain, but I did have some mild flatulence. In the afternoon I had to go back to Berlin. I had to let off a lot of gas on the plane. Luckily it didn't smell too bad, because that wouldn't have been so nice. Now we're slowly getting to the point I want to get to: My brother had another problem with his Mercedes CLA. There is a TÜV testing center near McDonald’s. My brother and I went there. After about five minutes, I realized that I needed to go to the bathroom incredibly urgently. It really came like lightning. Apparently that was the shawarma from abroad. I tried to endure it, but I just couldn't! So my brother said: “Either you go to the toilet here at the TÜV or you go to McDonald’s next door.” I chose McDonald’s. So I dashed from the MOT to McDonald’s. That was about 500 meters. On the way I just thought to myself that I'll never make it. They were truly the worst minutes of my life. When I finally made it to McDonald's, completely sweaty, an employee smiled at me. That gave me hope. My only mission now was to find the toilet. I looked for the signs that said “toilets” and quickly found them. Unfortunately the toilets were upstairs. I had to run up the stairs. Since I'm relatively sporty, that wasn't a big deal. When I finally made it to the toilet, not only did a weight fall from my heart, but a lot of... well, you know. It was incredibly relieving and I thank McDonald’s from the bottom of my heart. The toilets were pretty clean. There was plenty of toilet paper, soap, and the toilet bowl wasn't dirty. Everything was clean. Yes, no one was in there, I had the toilet all to myself like a private bunker You have to understand: I am a person who can actually only go to the toilet at home. I really have nowhere else to go unless I'm in dire need. The icing on the cake was that there was a hook to hang your jacket on. Let's be honest: who wants to do their business while still wearing their jacket? I definitely didn't want to put it on the floor. Everything has really been thought of. Of course, it may be that there are such problems elsewhere, but unfortunately I can't judge that. The last time I was in a public toilet was at a gas station in Poland about ten years ago. I had a similar situation there. Nevertheless, the toilet at McDonald’s on Großbeerenstrasse gave me a feeling of security. Unfortunately I can't say anything about the food there, so I only give it 4 stars overall. Best regards

When I was there the branch had a burst water pipe. I think “normal” tap water dripped onto the food. The ceiling was completely moldy from the water. *This was probably not heating water or waste water* The quality of the food here seems to be just as poor as in most other branches.

Heating is broken, incredibly cold in the shop.

In the morning around 9.20 a.m. the internal temperature felt like around 11 degrees. In the middle of November, freezing cold.

Unfortunately I have to give one star. Were there around eleven. There was nothing going on. Got a cold burger, there was trash on the tables everywhere, the staff just chatted. Very rude. Never again

Just ordered from you. You can make a small portion out of a medium frie! Do you need the money so urgently? And why does the food arrive ice cold?!?! Should we get food poisoning? The burgers are rock hard and you only provided curry sauce. We don't even live far away to justify this ice cold meal. It was the last time we ordered from any McDonald's!!!!!

I'm eating there with my 9 month old baby. And the worker poured all the cola on my baby and she also showed pity that she was sorry and they often forget to put food in and are very unfriendly

Incompetent employees. Something is always missing from the orders. After calling, no subsequent delivery possible. Or no one answers the phone at all for hours. You can't find out the name of the employee on the phone. It's just not told to you so you can't complain.

And again the order was incomplete in the bag. And the next time it's packed again, I'll count the fries one by one. Incredibly disorganized.

Today October 3rd, 2024 10:20 p.m. Waited 32 minutes at the mc drive, huge queue in the parking lot, nothing worked, finally the employee is on the cell phone, when her colleague speaks to her as we are standing at the counter she just says "it's my mother "I don't care what's important." I later noticed that all the sauces weren't packaged. Worst McD experience in a long time.

After a long time, I had breakfast here on the weekend. The wrap was boring and stuffed with tartar sauce and salad. The egg was not fresh but industrial. The whole thing was ice cold and inedible. So for me the food for breakfast has gotten worse. I used to enjoy eating here, but today I wouldn't recommend it.

No matter what time you are here, it is ALWAYS slow service. Instead of fast food, this is slow food. You're always standing at the drive-thru even though the restaurant isn't full

The staff are so-so... some really nice, some seriously frustrated. Some who don't even notice the customers and continue to gossip about their private lives. But other than that, the food is underwhelming. I used to come here more often, but now I have the feeling that what's on offer doesn't particularly appeal to me.

Unfortunately the order is never complete. Soft drinks and their Zero variants are not labeled, so we always have to puzzle over which is the sugary brown soda and which is the Zero (we actually order both at the same time). The paper at the order terminals is often empty, so you don't get a receipt (for example, to complain about missing products)... The employees are very friendly and accommodating, but are often under a lot of stress/time constraints. The food is just the typical McDonalds quality. The toilets on the ground floor are dirty and there is an unpleasant smell. On the first floor the drying sheets are often missing and the floor sticks. The rooms are not air-conditioned; the upper floor becomes a sauna in summer. The projector in the indoor play area has been switched off/broken for weeks and the outdoor climbing tower has also been closed for a long time. All in all very unhygienic, not very family friendly and disorganized.

That was an experience! Terrible! The “restaurant” was completely trashed. Leftover food and tablets were everywhere. An expired Capri Sun on the counter right in front of the checkout. Didn't see anyone there. A cute little obviously new employee at the cash register who was trying desperately to use the cash register. I kept looking at my colleagues for help but no one helped. We stood in line for over half an hour because the little mouse didn't know what she was doing. And in such heat... We won't go there again.

Paid today at 7:14 p.m. Many customers got their food before me even though they ordered after me. Including my friends. At 7:40 p.m. my food still hadn't come to the table. Only after asking the second time and “talking” louder did I get my cold burger with cold, soggy fries. The tray had been ready for a while. And then it was given to me at the counter with a sorry. 3 hours later I had to vomit the food again. This is bottomless service. That was the last time I paid €13 for food poisoning.

This shop is ridiculous, for the 3rd time now that they just love the fries, I ordered a large portion and a small one arrived, and no, there weren't any in the bag, look at the picture, that's supposed to be a large portion?

Otherwise I'll go to another McDonald's. Things looked bad outside in the parking lot. Packaging and leftover food were lying around there. It didn't look particularly clean inside either. The service was as if you weren't there at all. In addition, the delivery boys were of the opinion that they should position themselves right in front of the checkout, which made it difficult to get to the checkout. When we picked it up, one of the citizens was missing and the waitress behind the counter decided to stuff him into the bag. Otherwise the demeanor wasn't exactly customer friendly. Otherwise I can only write that the store made a better impression and the service was better.

My wife and I wanted to grab something quick to eat after an event. So at around 11.30 p.m. we quickly went to Mc's. When we came in the floor was sticky and the four tables where you could sit were dirty. In addition, the toilets looked as if a fight had taken place there. Rarely seen such a crappy McDonald's. 👎🏼

I live nearby and unfortunately the branch really doesn't deserve more than one star. Waiting times are often very long and you can see employees smoking relaxed in front of the store. While I was waiting for my order, two employees argued about who should do what, so it became very loud and insults were thrown, and as a customer I had to wait even longer and heard everything. Service isn't good either, the system for the numbers, for example, hasn't worked for ages. Recently, my entire table service order was completely forgotten and the employee didn't even look at me and apologize or anything like that. Prices are also more expensive than other branches, so I avoid going there as much as possible, good thing there's been a Burger King nearby for some time now, with much better service.

There's no need to talk about the food at McDonalds... The place is full, hot, no air conditioning, the smell of weed outside while children eat, and normal cigarettes are also smoked. Not recommended.

Very bad team, we had to wait more than 20 minutes for our food. When I tried to talk to some of them, they were overwhelmed and couldn't find my receipt. After it was found, we were the first to get our order, although we waited until we asked for our money back. Then the branch manager came, who was overwhelmed herself, and was even slower than the employees, who then took 5 minutes until we got our money back. There was no apology and the meal was never canceled again!!! As a quick note, the floor was so dirty with oil that the employees were slipping like they were on an ice slope.

My two children and I were in the McDonalds branch on Großbeerenstr today (July 22nd, 2024). In Berlin. We were there around 5 p.m., few customers. The outdoor area was littered with leftover food...on the tables and on the floor...placed an order at the terminal and wanted to pay at the checkout. After a long period of disregard, we were cashed in without comment... The employees in service and in the kitchen seemed very bored. We went upstairs where dirt and full trays were piled up.....I used to work with the Krone at a competitor and I'm used to different things at both the Krone and Ronald....very disappointing and unhygienic

The restaurant is officially open until 1:59 a.m. At 1 a.m. the restaurant is already closed and McDrive no longer serves milkshakes and orders are simply canceled. The staff wasn't particularly polite. Very disappointing.

It's pretty quick, but I don't think the products are that great anymore. Carelessly put together. Were there again with the children. Definitely not again. Despite ordering online to order at the Driv In, it took almost 10 minutes to place the order. Food was also cold. We won't be coming back!

Unfortunately a very bad McDonald's branch. Staff unfriendly, extremely long waiting time. How can you make a customer wait 20 minutes for a small McMenu and then forget about sauces and serve the food cold? Dirt is the order of the day here. From time to time there are also tramps and homeless people on site. However, the staff is attentive and courteous. However, parking space management is a NO GO. Apart from that, we have already experienced everything in this McDonald's, starting with the fact that the patty was simply missing on a burger that cost over €8 and then we were told on the phone that that couldn't be the case and that we were lying... right up to that Employees were more than annoyed when they pointed out that they had ordered 2 x sauce for the ice cream (and paid for it!) but when they looked at the food they saw that only 1 x sauce was put on the ice cream... We never said anything because everyone has a bad day, etc... but now that's enough! I arranged to meet a friend at McDonald's to try out the new breakfast and we met at 8:30...we were there for a total of 3.5 hours, eating in peace, chatting and ordering more coffee later! And now we have the salad!! We are now allowed to pay €35 each because we stood in the parking lot of the restaurant where we ate and drank for 3.5 hours!! This is an absolute disgrace!! McDonald’s wants all guests to leave after 1.5 hours at the latest! So all in all this is really very customer oriented *NOT!

Unpleasantly surprised... It's dirty everywhere, including the first and second floors. The tables are dirty, the floor is greasy and slippery, there are pieces of paper and leftover food lying around. The men's toilet is dirty and smells unpleasant, it feels like it hasn't been cleaned in a long time. I couldn't wash my hands with soap because there was simply no soap.

A great restaurant that offers: excellent, affordable and quick food. Very good staff - professional and friendly, who also keeps the restaurant clean. It's usually crowded, but sometimes there are empty seats. Clean bathroom. Open until late. I recommend one of my favorites: Big Mac, fries and Coca-Cola, also my favorite drink ;) I would happily choose to dine here if I were to visit Berlin again.

This is the absolute dirtiest in a long list of branches visited. There were empty packaging everywhere, the floor was sticky and the toilets 🤫🤮 I've never experienced anything like that before. The lower one was broken, in 2 of the 3 upper cubicles there was "water", At least that's what I hope!!! There was toilet paper in all of them. However, it was missing in the 3rd. It stank horribly. After this experience I refrained from eating and drinking and can't say anything about the quality and service.

I eat at this branch about once a month. Just 2 years ago I thought this store was the best McDonald's store in the area. Unfortunately, the service continued to decline from time to time. More and more new stressed people who mix up orders, forget things or are unfriendly. I can understand the stress when there is a high volume of visitors (I come from a similar industry) but when there are 5 people at the front counter, an order is packed by 3 employees, it is clear that there are problems and when someone else stands around and just watches, I wonder why so many people work that day and step on each other's feet instead of cleaning the shop a little during the time. My biggest problem, however, is the orders, 4 out of 5 of which are incorrect, which is why I check the orders every time before leaving the store (I made the mistake this time too, but only noticed it when I got home), but now there are no longer enough orders but also to check every single burger (see picture, ordered without onion but with extra sauce), then I don't know if it's still worth visiting this shop. Sometimes something can be missing, but that happens with almost every order being incorrect? Please train people better and pay a little more attention to how the orders are packed (that day there were 2 more complaints during my 20 minute wait, so I'm not an isolated case)

Welcome to Mc Piep... Mc Piep, the culinary temple for those who are not just looking for taste but for a sensory journey. Here you don't just hear the sizzling of burgers, but a soundscape that is reminiscent of an intensive care unit in which five patients are simultaneously ingesting caffeine, taurine and other stimulants - including the heart rate monitors going crazy. Despite the chaos of sound in the kitchen, Mc Piep surprises with delicious dishes, as if the background noise was part of the taste experience. A visit to Mc Piep is like a trip to the acoustic amusement park, where every beep and rattle has its place in the gastronomic orchestra. A truly intoxicating experience for the senses – and the food? Terrific! A real pleasure between Mc Piep's acoustic flights of fancy.

I'm sure I've never had warm, freshly prepared food here before. But that’s now purely a matter of luck at McDonald’s. I would also wait 10 minutes, but who of the stressed-out employees cares...

This time the only complaint was the service. It was a very chaotic team that day. Table service did not take place and shortages had to be reordered three times. Team seemed very disorganized. Can be expanded! The rest was good as expected! 👍

Can someone keep the tables and floor clean here? And don't leave the dirt unattended.

The mc ribs I ordered were not prepared with the usual mc rib sauce but with the sauce from the dips. The result was that the burgers tasted horrible and had nothing to do with a Mc rib.

Unfortunately, the fries at McDonalds always taste so sticky, but that's the case in every branch. And the Coca-Cola glasses weren't there either; they were supposedly delivered on Thursday.

Very fast, multitasking when ordering and cashier service - mega!! Hot food, but a minus point for the cola - very watery..

Just terrible, yes it was almost half past one in the morning, but that's no excuse, we waited almost 20 minutes for three burgers, even though there were enough staff who preferred to laugh rather than work. The whole time something was beeping so loudly that it didn't really bother the staff. I specially ordered my burgers with onions so that it would be freshly made... puff cake, dried cheese, hard bread and just cold. French fries ? Cold and soggy, but that's why she gave us two packs, thank you very much for two packs of cold soggy fries. Do you know when the chilled cheese nuggets sit for a long time and the cheese inside becomes so tough? Yup, that was ours, but today I know why I prefer to go to Burger King... They're so lame. During this time you can safely get a kebab on foot. Went there again today, May 4, 2024, because of the kids. Waited at Mc Drive from 6:46 p.m. to 7:06 p.m. for a pre-order with two cars in front of me. In addition, the glass we ordered was missing, fries half cold, no napkins, for an invoice amount of €22. Just bad.

After waiting 30 minutes from ordering at the machine (fast food???), the food was at least fresh. Sorry, but you can't expect more than 2 stars for the service. And then, like most branches, it was just dirty. It's best to wipe sticky and greasy tables, chairs and benches yourself first, it's definitely better!

Long wait at the drive-thru, I've been standing here for half an hour, and this is supposed to be a fast food restaurant

So honestly it's a scam to only put one slice of BACON on a Big Tasty BACON if it happens again I'll report this company for fraud then there was no sour cream dip with the fries when asked and they complained that I hadn't chosen that even though I was over I ordered an employee. So if you don't want to eat something, don't go here. I would prefer to give it -1 star

An MC Donalds like many others in the world. Is clean, lots of parking spaces, outside spaces, 2 floors. 2-3 order terminals. There is also the option to order at the checkout. Takes a while.
