I don't like writing bad reviews, but this one is certainly appropriate. It would be better not to have this branch than to ruin its reputation like this. It makes me sad for someone who actually enjoys going to Burger King and works in the restaurant industry myself. What's going wrong here: 1. Service: Employees are bored, on their phones, and quite rude. The manager is of the same caliber. 2. Self-service: (For months now) You can't scan the app. If a coupon is displayed on the screen, you might not be able to pay with it. When you go to the checkout, they can't enter it. The coupon is available on the app and at the self-service counter, but not from the employees at the checkout. Unfortunately, IT is weak. 3. What you can actually credit the burgers for is quality, but that's not reflected here. It's entirely understandable that guests would rather wait in a long line a few meters away than go into the rightfully empty branch. I think it's a shame. I like going to Burger King, but not here anymore.

The opening hours were stated until 10 p.m., but I couldn't get anything to eat until shortly before 9 p.m.

I was there a few days ago and wanted to order something to eat for myself and my son. The checkout was very empty and there was nobody there. I asked an employee if he could take my order. He said no, I'm off work now. I should order my food myself on this strange machine and I'm just not familiar with the machines. He said he didn't have time, then a customer helped me. When I went back in, the employee looked into this small room right in front of the checkout and 20 minutes went by and he was still there. I felt like I'd been ripped off. I mean, if I'm so keen on customers, why do I do my job? I think he was the boss because he was wearing brown clothes. I asked him why he didn't take my order. I mean, there was nobody there, it would have taken 5 minutes, he was there the whole time and his answer was, "You can cancel your order too." I've never experienced such a cheeky thing to do. Sad

Terrible customer service. After 15 minutes of struggling with the machine due to payment issues, the person told us they wouldn't be serving us because they would be closing minutes later. We saw them serving other people a minute earlier.

Amazingly, half the times I've tried to get a Whopper, I either come away empty-handed or change my mind on the spur of the moment. Sometimes it's because the store doesn't open at 10:00 a.m., but the first employee strolls in around 10:30. The self-service machines aren't working, but the employees don't really care that no one's ordering. Honestly, I've given up. I only have a 30-minute break and I'm fed up with this lottery. From now on, I'd rather walk to Alexanderplatz.

Employees on their cell phones, orders take forever, don't even look at you, keep on the phone, and text constantly. Okay. Not in the mood for customers? McDonald's is right next door.

Even though there are a lot of employees working here, you still wait forever for your food. The employees have time to play around on their phones in front of customers instead of helping the kitchen get things moving. The dining area is very dirty, but in the 20 minutes I waited for my order, no one cleaned the tables and chairs. There's room for improvement!

I ordered a burger without cheese because I'm lactose intolerant and can't handle milk. I ended up getting a burger with cheese, but by the time I realized that, the place was already closed and I was on the train. It was a shame, I wasted my money; of course I couldn't eat it. Apparently, they don't really accommodate special requests.

The service terminals didn't work and after waiting forever at the checkout we were just turned away and told that the service terminals were working again and that we should order there because we wanted to use coupons. Since there was a huge queue there and we had been waiting for 20 minutes, we got tired of it and left.

Staff will name call you here for their shortcomings According to some of the staff, if their machines don't work as expected, it's the customer's fault and they should not be using them. I was outright been called an idiot for not knowing what OHNE means, although I picked the English language when setting my order. A mix of partial translation from their machine and a very misleading UI (where you can add endless amounts of "OHNE" tomatoes and lettuces) resulted in the Frankenstein burger I received. The staff was very reluctant to do anything and just blamed me and kept escalating the situation instead of resolving the matter. Eventually some guy offered a free ice cream to somehow compensate for the mishappening. However I feel like I was robbed by €15 for what I got. I also emailed the German branch of Burger King about the incident and received zero response. Clearly they don't care - so better go to McDonalds nearby who have been really great!

What a fuck shop. Never again. Unfriendly staff who had no interest in customers or work. The terminals did not accept the cell phone coupons and you could not pay with them either. It definitely works better at McDonalds.

Almost worse than a Burger King on the highway. I wanted to redeem points that I earned through multiple visits to Burger King. The topic of customer loyalty and customer loyalty. Two out of three order machines didn't work. And to top it off, I was informed that points cannot be redeemed at this Burger King. Apparently because of the franchise regulations. In this institution there is an employee who applies the first rule of marketing and sales (the customer is always right). He served us so well that we found him to be honest, courageous, quick and attentive to the visitors. If anyone wants such a seller, know that he works here and his name is Rami. Invite them to work.

The employee at the checkout was super unfriendly. First makes us wait for 5 minutes without saying anything and then being really condescending. When you are asked a question, she answers very bitchy and cheeky. Can't recommend it any further. The food was delicious but the location sucks.

The food is just Burger King. We like it every now and then. Everything was warm and things went quickly. We then bought 2 cheeseburgers for a homeless person who was looking for leftover food on the trays. And the nice man behind the counter added fries on his own initiative. I thought that was a nice gesture.

Didn't redeem any coupons, there were no shakes because the machine was already being cleaned at 7 p.m. Both would also be commented on in an unfriendly manner by the employee. I'm never coming here again.

Been here today. We wanted to order from the machine because we wanted to redeem coupons. This is not possible at regular checkouts. However, paying at the machines didn't work with the selected coupons either. When we asked, an employee couldn't help us, so the manager came and just rudely said that we would have to order something else. So I changed the coupons and it still didn't work... without coupons we would have paid at least €30. That was just too much for us for a small snack.

They packed my order very well and they are very nice

Instead of a “Hello, what can we do for you?” , came a “First order at the machine.” Of course, I'm not making any recommendations here if three people were chatting with another employee in civilian clothes. 🤷‍♂️ If you want fast food and service, don't go here. It's so easy to shoot yourself out these days. And if you don't feel like working, you can stay at home. As far as I know, no one is forced. Greetings and try it with vigor next year. The fact that you can only order via these slow terminals is annoying to no end. The Essen quality is as you would expect from Ammi fast food. Ambience only gets 3 stars because it's at a stop. Overall it was a mistake to go there.

Absolutely bad. Germs Checkout manned, one person handing out ordered food. Aner more bored because there was nothing going on. The quality is okay, the prices are unreasonably expensive, a menu costs almost €15! for fast food! The BK app is not accepted, even though it is advertised everywhere, correspondingly the coupons in the app! There are a few unattractive coupons left at the terminal that you can redeem, very few seats, the facade is open, which makes it very airy! These are probably the reasons why you go to McDonalds 50m away, where all coupons are accepted without any problem, BK never learns... What a shame!

Unfortunately my cheeseburger was cold, when I asked to make me a fresh one I was treated unkindly and the cheeseburger was warmed up in the microwave and was very hot. I asked again to make me a fresh cheeseburger, which was refused. I was there in October last year, never again!!

Accidentally ordered a “takeaway” meal and the overweight lady working aggressively told me to leave. I accepted this, of course, despite how nitpicky it is. However, once I’d left, she began namecalling myself to her coworkers and other customers. Perhaps she felt insecure about herself or maybe she was having a bad day, but that is no excuse to act in this awful manner. This establishment has left an awful impression of Germany on myself and many others it seems. Extremely disappointing; i hope this lady can find some direction in her life.

Unfortunately not recommended, according to the BK app vouchers should be accepted. However, the employees on site say no. Then I wanted to speak to the manager who I was disturbing while he was eating pizza. He also said no and said the franchisee didn't want any vouchers. I thought they were advertising it on Burger King's official website, then I got the answer because they were unlucky. Very professional!

I went to this BK right after my train arrived in the station, which was 15 minutes before they closed. They told me I could only order takeout, which I accepted and went to the machine to order. I scanned the coupon from the app to make it quick, but it didn't work so then I tried to manually add my more expensive order then got automatically shut out of the machine with no warning 10 minutes before closing. When I tried to order at the counter, their attitude was, "tough luck" and wouldn't let me place it. An incredibly frustrating and negative experience. I ended up going to a kebab shop and was treated much kinder and got my food reslly quickly.

So you can't choose any other than a selection of prescribed coupons. Logging in with the BK account is also prevented. That doesn't mean collecting points either.

According to MyKingFinder, App Coupons and King of the Month / King Deal work here. None of this is true. Order exclusively via terminal, and there only a very small number of pre-programmed "coupons" (is that even a coupon...?) that have nothing to do with the official ones, the app cannot be scanned. There is no King of the Month either. If you don't take part in campaigns, then at least stop advertising.

I ordered 3 Planet Base Cheeseburgers to take away and went straight to the train. Of course, getting 3 normal cheeseburgers wasn't possible at all, so I was able to throw them away.

Coupons from the app are not accepted. You are a “franchisee” and therefore there are no discounts. The crown benefits from the app cannot be redeemed either. It is simply not accepted. No coupons are accepted at all, not a one-time problem but a permanent one. You then ask yourself, why does the “Coupon/Promotions” button on the terminal exist? Plant-based offering also permanently restricted? Coupons+ plant based= If you don't have to get your hopes up, it won't work in the long term.

I really had to laugh at all the bad reviews. At least now I know why there's never a line there when I order. The burgers are ok, but mostly only lukewarm. But I always only wait two to five minutes for my order. The employees just understand you, that's enough for me and I'm not interested in the fact that things are constantly broken, I always pay in cash and without vouchers anyway. You can do it, but you should go there without expectations
