The worst experience at McDonald's I've ever had. The coffee is just awful, like water and tasteless. It was impossible to finish even half of it. In addition, the toilet was closed, which is completely unacceptable for such an institution. Very disappointed with the service and quality. I do not recommend this institution to anyone.

The burgers were cold, the meat burnt. Simply inedible. Never again. And this is supposed to be a restaurant. There was food wrappers everywhere. Nobody cleaned up. And I paid over €20 for a quick meal.

I've been there several times and am very satisfied. The only downside is that twice I ordered something and something was missing. It's best to check immediately upon pickup that everything is there. I then spoke to a very friendly employee and he gave me what was missing. Plenty of seating and very cozy. The food is delicious. Unfortunately, there's no restroom. But still, I'm very happy there and everything is clean.

Probably the most disappointing McDonald’s I’ve been to so far. It was very chaotic — I understand it was busy, but the staff seemed unmotivated and slow, which made the whole experience feel even more disorganized.

The staff are now too lazy to even type on the screen, it's just completely unacceptable, they don't even ask if it's for takeaway or to eat in. So, incredibly bad service.

Today was a good decision. I wanted to place my order at the register because I can't figure out these screens. I wanted to order three meals, but unfortunately, it didn't work out as usual. A young blonde woman at the register first said she only spoke English, and then that she couldn't take orders at the register. Why were you even standing behind the register then?! No German skills, okay, no problem, but she couldn't even take an order. Well, I left empty-handed. P.S. Like I said, everything usually works perfectly at your Friedrichstrasse location. But people like that, sorry, but it's just unacceptable.

I visited this branch today and had a very unpleasant experience. I had a valid coupon in the McDonald's app and wanted to order at the counter. A German customer in front of me had her order taken without any problems, but I was told in an unfriendly tone that I should leave and only order from the self-service kiosk. I explained that I didn't want to use the kiosk and didn't know how to operate it, but I was still refused service at the counter. Then an employee who introduced himself as the manager came and tried to force me to use the kiosk. This behavior was disrespectful, rude, and discriminatory in my opinion. I am a regular customer and have the right to order at the counter. I am very disappointed by this treatment of customers and this poor service.

Never again. After a 20-minute wait in the evening, the fries and cheeseburger still weren't ready. Since the train was coming, we had to leave (without eating). Simply a waste of time and money. We won't be going there again…

Choose this place only to charge your phone

The food was not bad, but not really good either. What really disappointed me was the attitude of the staff. I started speaking in English, and the employee answered in German. I politely said “please, in English,” but she replied “please in German” the girl who was not coming from germany…. Maybe you can speak 2 words in english if you are working in an american restaurant. That was very rude and unprofessional. It made me lose my appetite. Such a bad experience — I hope McDonald’s trains their staff to be more respectful.

Green fries I noticed them when I picked up my order and immediately reported them to the counter. The counter attendant told me I could throw them away. So this is how the world's most rigorous country and the world's most famous fast food restaurant handles food safety? If you hadn't told me, I'd have thought I was in some developing country. 😏

The food was the usual McDonald's quality. However, the motivation behind my review is that the service at this restaurant is absolutely disgraceful. When I found a hair in my food, I was yelled at and offered no way to complain.

Addendum: The operator of this branch changed at the beginning of the year, and many things aren't running as smoothly as they used to. Too bad, I loved coming here. 1st entry: I've been going here regularly for breakfast since the day it opened, and it's been many years since it opened. I've had the opportunity to meet many of the staff, and I can say they're all friendly, and some go above and beyond. The food is standardized and tastes just like any other McDonald's worldwide. The ambiance is the same as anywhere else, but being greeted with a smile in the morning at a McDonald's is something you get here. I still enjoy coming here.

The lid wasn't put on properly. When I went to drink it, everything ran over my pants and sweater. It's difficult to quickly go home and change clothes in Berlin. The fries weren't salted enough and a 20 minute wait for ice cream is really bad for a brand that calls itself a fast food restaurant. The restaurant was really dirty. They could do with a bit of cleaning. It doesn't have to be sparkling clean, but I don't want to lose my hunger over fries and sauce stains on the floor. There was no toilet. I'm curious to see if my sweater will get stains. It's McDonald's, after all. I didn't expect anything, and was still disappointed.

Unfortunately, the wrap was cold, the lettuce was old and wrinkled, as was the cucumber. The place where you put everything after eating was overflowing, and the trash was neatly placed back on the floor. Tables weren't wiped down, and the staff were poorly trained.

On Sunday evening, I was harassed by an employee at McDonald's in Berlin's Friedrichstraße station, and they refused to give me my already paid-for burger. The employee's behavior was unacceptable; I will not eat at this branch again, even though I'm a regular in the area!

I ordered food to be served. After 25 minutes, I went downstairs to inquire about the status of my order. Unfortunately, the food was already long past edible. Furthermore, all the drinks and sauces were missing. After being ignored, they only gave me the drinks after asking several times :(

It was okay, but no one there spoke proper German. The call for the order number was hard to hear either. All in all, it was okay.

We ordered the new Chili & Lime Shaker Nuggets on Friday – a friend of ours and I each ordered our own. Unfortunately, we had to leave quickly, and the place was very busy, so we only realized later that we both got regular nuggets. It can happen to one person and during busy times, but we find it pretty disappointing that we both got the wrong thing. Also, I ordered two sauces and only got one.

The service was crap, to put it mildly! They swept my legs with a broom and didn't even apologize. They just threw the food on the tray and ate it. I don't recommend it.

We only stopped there briefly while changing trains, mainly for the children, and picked up some food. Unfortunately, the toys from two Happy Meals had been left behind, which we only noticed once we were on the train. The children were sad. Thank you very much for that.

Always love the McRib. In America they only have it once a year which is a shame. So I indulge when I am in Germany. Can'tgo wrong with it. Taste and quality is always consisten.

The staff was too incompetent to prepare the food. No one spoke German. You couldn't understand anything and had to wait 15 minutes for your food.

Absolutely terrible McDonald's. No air conditioning, it's sticky and hot upstairs. Homeless people rummage through returned trays for food, which really makes you hungry 👍🏼 The wait times are endless. The milkshake machine was broken, of course. The food itself is dry and half-eaten next to the burger. And in general, it's still unbearable that you've gotten rid of straws. Strangely, though, mayo is still sold in small plastic bags, and you always need two to get enough, which is perfectly logical. But hey, at least everything has become more expensive 👍🏼 McDonald's is a place you go to less and less.

The environment is very hot; no one can stand being on the second floor during the summer! They should close it because it's not right! The food is well prepared, but 30 minutes for a Big Mac doesn't exist anywhere in the world! They turn off the screen with the orders being prepared and ready. I don't speak German and I feel bad because I don't know if it's my order being shouted out. They gave me the bag all crumpled even though I ordered to eat in. There's no bathroom.

Had bacon toastie this morning, look at the state of it. I asked for no cheese but this looked like it had been dropped on the floor. Waste of money

I've been here several times in the last few weeks. Usually, cash payments are accepted, but now, out of the blue, they say, "No, we can't do it today," without explanation or notice; "Next time, you can come again..." I've often stopped here on my way home from work to eat, until the same employee repeatedly told me there's no cash payments now and I wasted my time for nothing because McDonald's apparently changes its business policy based on the day. Today was the last time. Absolutely outrageous. I'd almost say this unreliability is damaging the entire chain's business. Lost a regular nighttime customer!

HALLELUJAH TO THE LAMB . each item promised a temporary escape from the modern german world as we know it. ultimately, my path was clear, my destiny pre ordained.. I would order my typical big man happy meal a succulent meal for fine men as myself.. i waited patiently for it to come, a quiet hum of satisfaction building within me as i admired the arts of this humble restaurant. the meal arrived, a beacon of golden brown perfection. And then, the moment arrived that would forever etch itself into the deep corners of my memories. a simple request, uttered without malice or expectation. I asked for a straw. the reaction was immediate, visceral. the big, scary, balding guy, a figure of silent authority behind the counter, pierced down at me. his eyebrows furrowed, disapproval above eyes that seemed to hold centuries of fast food wisdom. and then, in a strong, manly voice, devoid of warmth, he delivered his verdict. "No." that was it. no explanation. no profound, life changing revelation about the scarcity of plastic or the environmental impact of sipping. Just 'no'. a single, unyielding syllable that shattered the quiet contentment of my processed meal. to this day, the echo of that monosyllabic refusal reverberates within me. I will always wonder why.. why I couldn't have a straw on this fine day. The question, an unsolved enigma, remains.

Mc donalds quickly cleans up high prices

More bad than good. I've never experienced anything like this before... endless waiting for one or two things... no proper coordination, terrible language barrier. On top of that, a lot of things get mixed up or not put in the bag at all... Once and never again

Unfortunately, we had to wait quite a while, even though it wasn't busy. The patties were almost burnt. On top of that, they gave us the wrong burger.

Guys, you need more staff. One woman at the counter who also has to make fries and coffee at the same time isn't enough. It's really stressful having to wait so long for a coffee, and I feel so sorry for the woman.

I ordered food through Uber Eats, items were missing, and the food was inedible. The burger was already dry and soggy, the cheese had already disintegrated into the bun, and the patty was overcooked; it was already slightly burnt on the sides. The fries were a complete disaster, honestly. There were just leftover pieces of fries that were completely soggy and cold. Never again.

Okay, you really don't expect much from McDonald's in 2025. But in this store, in my opinion, they've completely given up. They're not even trying to catch up with the competition, sticking with their old recipes and continuing to reduce service and quality. They're simply scoring points with their location right in the train station and 24-hour opening hours. A double cheeseburger for €3.89 is now less than 1 cm thick. Never have the advertising and product been further apart than here. Admittedly, the taste is still identical and evokes memories, but the burger looks like it was squashed in your armpit. The wait time is quite long, the display screen for the pickup number order has been inactive for weeks, the entire store seems overwhelmed, and I constantly had the feeling that "we'll take what's coming and then we'll close anyway." Very sad.

The employees are too lazy to enter a three-digit code at the checkout! They prefer to send customers to the machine! Days before, everything worked! And suddenly it doesn't anymore? I eat there regularly because I work there at DB Security! Really sad

If I could give no stars, I would. The restaurant seating area is closed. There's no restroom either, despite legal requirements. You have to use the station restroom, which costs money and is littered with rubbish. The staff was very friendly, but McDonald's needs to improve on that; it's really bad.

Well, everything's done on computers these days, which is a real shame for EVERYONE, impersonal, and the employees???!!! Unfortunately, it's becoming more and more common, not my thing.

Service 0. Before eating. You need to wash your hands. But there is no toilet, no sink. The screen with orders does not work. This is the most terrible McDonald's we have been to. During our last stay in Berlin, we made a quick stop at the McDonald's on Friedrichstraße after a train journey – a perfect location, right in the heart of the city, very close to the train station. The food met our expectations – warm, fresh, and well-seasoned. The classic flavors you know and love to choose again and again. The fries, in particular, were nice and crispy, and the drinks refreshingly cold – just as they should be. Unfortunately, there are a few downsides. Firstly, the burgers were tasty, but visually rather unloved. Squashed, a bit "battered" – they simply lacked the aesthetics you expect even from fast food. Secondly, the wait was surprisingly long, even though it wasn't busy. Conclusion: A good place for a quick lunch in the center of Berlin, but be patient and don't expect a perfect-looking burger. In the end, the taste saves the overall experience!

There is no toilet in McDonald's and it's not very clean.

The language resources were unfortunate. Only one girl spoke English and German. The others spoke German, which isn't bad, but for tourists who don't speak the language, it's impossible. Furthermore, there's no bathroom; nothing could be more basic than that. The food quality was mediocre due to the over-sauce.

It's just disgusting to see this and it really spoiled my appetite 🤮

Slowest McDonald’s I’ve ever experienced

I ordered a double cheeseburger and they gave me a mc crispy. I went back downstairs to change and I was very hungry. Isn't it a shame that this has been done to me since I arrived in Berlin?

There were no table numbers on machines. And they had homeless guy walking randomly at the eating area.

Homeless people are sleeping in the guest area. Milkshakes haven't been available for years, and you wait 20 to 30 minutes for your food, even though the place is empty. Please just close the place or hire staff and pay them properly.

It used to be better. The actual breakfast offerings were minimal, the display boards didn't work, the staff was disorganized, and the tables were dirty. Unfortunately, that's not what you'd expect from McDonald's.

After eating the Smart Menu, I started having stomach cramps and loose stools a few hours later.

Mediocre/poor restaurant. Can't handle the crowds, so the staff isn't too friendly. Few seats and many sold out. Our order had been on the counter for more than fifteen minutes before someone started making the (cold) drink and then called our number, the result: the food was cold and part of it was missing. We did get everything again, after a lot of sighing and groaning and meaningful looks from the staff. We wanted to eat on site, but due to the lack of seating we decided to take it with us.

My experience was very bad. The burger had an excessive amount of sauce, making it difficult to eat. Also, I ordered the order with bacon and without lettuce, but it arrived without bacon and with lettuce. The service was slow, the staff was not friendly and they did not seem to follow basic hygiene protocols. The place was visibly dirty and they showed no concern for cleanliness. Definitely don't come.

Waiting almost 30 minutes for a burger and fries and then getting nothing?! I had to leave my order there because otherwise I would have missed my train. 10€ wasted, I'm a student! The staff is incredibly slow, I've never seen that anywhere. Is this the slow food everyone is talking about? How do I get my money back?

The employees at this McDonald's are completely overwhelmed and the manager doesn't stop admission, even though some customers (like me) wait over an hour for their food. That can't be. Please at least turn off the touchscreen ordering terminals if there isn't enough time. All employees are totally stressed, annoyed and do everything as quickly as possible. However, if new orders keep coming in, that can't go well. This no longer has anything to do with the gastronomic service concept that you are used to from McDonalds. I just feel sorry for the employees. Please change that.

Viele Bestellungen, kein gut organisierter Wartebereich und ca 20 min Wartezeit auf die eigene Bestellung.... MCD ist nicht mehr das was es mal war, Qualität hat nachgelassen, Preis ist gestiegen.

Loading is good, seats are sometimes difficult to get. Food came quickly. Compared to the McDonalds at the main train station, a 5-star restaurant with all-round service.

Don't be fooled by quantity of stars in review. No toiled and no wet tissues... and everything around is very dirty

Disappointing visit – Minecraft weeks poorly implemented Were there especially because of the Minecraft weeks. For both orders they wanted to give us the junior bag toy instead of the QR code games. The first time it was corrected after being informed, the second time we were made to wait forever - only to be told that the QR code games were "suddenly over". Funny that you can still order them in the app. Very poorly organized, unfortunately not a good experience. Customer loyalty is a priority here.

Two more people per shift and capitalism would boom

Waited 25 minutes for a milkshake and a burger even though there were hardly any customers. It was just terrible. The meat wasn't cooked through, and the Indian guy at the checkout preferred chatting with his brothers to doing his job. Thanks for missing the train.

Not recommended. I tried to order a Whopper at 9:50 PM - no chance. No problem, there are more customer-friendly stores. Good luck with this scam.
