McDonald's in Berlin

I tried to go to the bathroom but a rather unfriendly lady asked me for 50 cents, I didn't have any cash and she told me to piss outside the premises, all in all a despicable experience.

I really don't recommend it. Too many lines. There aren't any good things about it, like there aren't many places to clean up. Also, in our case, when we waited, our order was canceled without permission. No apologies, of course.

The toilets cost 50 cents and are dirty, in a state of disrepair, everything is broken, but the pee lady is there and won't let you pass if you don't pay. Honestly one of the worst McDonald's. The staff are idly walking in circles, service is at a glacial pace and the bald guy who seems to be in charge is just rudely barking at customers. Far better service across every other McDonald's in Berlin or the world! After waiting for over 20 minutes and seeing streams and streams of burgers come out of the kitchen and sit on the counter getting cold. Very few customers being served. Front of house clueless and slow. I went back to the till for a refund. There was three full rows of fries also sitting getting cold. Then the bald guy gets the manager from the back to do the refunds! What on Earth is the manager doing chilling in the back whilst the stores going to complete crap!?! Get organized, be respectful.

By law, every customer has access to a toilet. But in this restaurant you can't even wash your hands for free. Please come with clean hands or pay.

Criminally understaffed. There is no dedicated person on the fries. The food warmer is overflowing with food. There is no dedicated person to take the orders to the tables. Needs a better system and more people because right now they cant handle the peak hours.

We were there at lunchtime today and my son just wanted to buy a hamburger. He paid at 1:33 p.m. and got the burger at 1:47 p.m. Almost a quarter of an hour for a measly hamburger. The name fast food restaurant quickly loses its meaning. It just doesn't work at all. At least he was warm. The entire store also makes a rather run-down impression. Well, it's something different.

My favorite Mac in the very center of Berlin. Despite the large number of visitors, fast service. Delicious coffee at McCafe.

Firstly, they served me contaminated food (there was fungus on the burger). When I complained about it to the staff, they misbehaved with me. The staff lacked basic etiquettes and didn't know how to talk to a customer. It's really a shame for a brand like McDonald's that their staff would misbehave with a customer after serving a fungal product, especially in a city like Berlin, Germany. 🇩🇪😡

Waited 25 minutes for my order with a numbered easel at the table (the room is not big though). Result a cold meal. Obviously we don't say thank you. And no excuses when we had to go down and get her…

The constant charging of paying customers to use toilets in Germany is enough to stop me ever wanting to come to Berlin again. The maccies toilet beggar was the rudest one I’ve come across. So for the sake of 50 cents you lost two paying customers, and gave McDonald’s a bad rep. Congratulations! Get with the times. People don’t carry cash anymore, and it’s prehistoric to charge people for their normal bodily functions when they’re your paying customer.

I waited an hour for my order, and my friend was given curry instead of sweet and sour sauce and didn’t even think of assembling the burger properly FOR WHICH SHE WAITED AN HOUR! also without sauce. the floor is dirty, order receipts are everywhere, the lamps overhead are filthy as hell, how am I supposed to eat here? They throw pieces of ice the size of the establishment itself into the drinks, it’s impossible to drink, they also mixed up the topping and poured it so crookedly that all my topping was right on the tray. Should I lick it off? It’s also an incomprehensible squeak, it’s annoying, it squeaked for two hours and didn’t stop. I don't recommend eating here.

Worst McDonald's I've ever experienced. We ordered at the terminal, just over €50, should be delivered to the table. After 40 minutes asked where the food was. “Coming soon” asked again after a total of an hour. The one on the subject of “fast food”. We asked for compensation and were offered the opportunity to come back after dinner and get ice cream or coffee. Bottomless impudence, as if we then wanted to wait again. When we ordered, the toys from the Happy Meal were missing and ketch-up and mayo were also missing. So all in all the worst experience I've ever had.

There was little going on. The order didn't come complete... had to complain twice. An espresso took extra time. The icing on the cake was that you had to pay 50 cents per person to wash your hands. That is rather difficult.

The food was standard for McDonald’s, although I’d say it’s a little on the expensive side. The Asian lady who brought our food over was incredibly rude, slammed the tray down and stormed off so we laughed then she turns back and gives us a filthy look. The restaurant was very dirty, all trays had been left with 6 staff behind the till talking but nobody cleaning. The only reason it has two stars is because the food was quite nice.

The employees are active, but there is a lack of proper guidance and quality control. The location is the only thing that allows customers to come in here. It can't be the food, the atmosphere and the cleanliness :-( There are enough photos of the toilet, the mountains of rubbish, the incomplete and partly cold food and the overwhelmed employees in the other reviews, so none from me today.

Bad experience with McDelivery, but apparently not the only one with it: The BigMac was missing from the bundle and the disgusting thing was that the 20 nuggets were TOTALLY DRY and obviously fried. Since when has something like this “happened” at Mäcces, are we now at Burger King? The things were ultra dry and the dead fried breading had more of a plastic coating than “crispy”. Giving out old food is really a no go and simply disgusting!

I didn't want to write a bad review at first because I know that working as a service person is stressful. I was there last week and when I ordered a hamburger I received the 2 buns with sauce but no meat patty. I thought “it could happen”. Was there for the second time today shortly before 7 p.m. My order number was 206. Instead of the large fries I ordered, I saw at home that there were only 2 portions of mayo. For an order value over 16 euros, that's steep. I can understand that the employees are stressed (because there may be a high level of sickness or a lack of staff), but that's really not possible for a restaurant in a tourist location!

Biggest scam!!!!!! I go to redeem a coupon, go to the machine, select a coupon and while I'm ordering, the choice of sauces just doesn't go any further so I have to cancel the order. When I asked at the checkout I was told that they couldn't do it because it was a technical problem!!!!!! Why on earth do you offer these coupons if you can't redeem them anyway because your hot machines don't work!!!!!! Do you want to cheat on me!!!?????

Great location but its always super busy here. It usually takes a bit longer than at regular McDonald’s. The restaurant is very clean and modern. The staff speaks good English. The food is made in a rush and not always looks good. If you dont come during prime time, the food usually tastes on point and you get everything served fairly quickly.

Twelve minutes of waiting time (invoice printing until issue) in a 2/3 empty branch for six chicken nuggets is somehow incomprehensible at night.

I ordered a Big Tasty meal for delivery, but the wait exceeded the estimated time. The food arrived cold, and some items were missing—two bottles of cola and sauces were left out. The courier claimed he ‘didn’t know anything.’ We ended up eating almost without any drinks or sauces. Very disappointed with this service. Don’t order here—it’s not guaranteed you’ll get a complete or warm meal.

We visited this restaurant because of the terrace with this beautiful view of Checkpoint Charlie. An absolute insider tip for anyone who wants to experience Berlin away from the tourist crowds! This American restaurant is probably a remnant of times gone by.

My teenagers spent €45 for 30 min old cold food, almost half the order missing. Shrugged shoulders, bitchy smiles & total lack of care or interest. Employees should be sacked for such poor service and such bad attitude. Try the Vietnamese place a couple of blocks West instead - it was amazing.

Me and my friend made an order and have been waiting for 20 minutes, while we were trying to tell the staff that our order is lost and they just insulted us with an angry face. In general, we've been waiting for 40 minutes since we placed the order. The staff also didn't seem to care about people's orders, so we saw a man picking up someone's food without showing any receipt. Later, the other man came WITH the receipt but he couldn't get his food, because someone else took it. Shitty service, do not recommend

During break at my school, my classmates and I decided to go to this McDonald's. We wanted to enjoy our breakfast there, but unfortunately the staff took far too long to prepare our orders (about 15-20 minutes, and we didn't order much, just a simple breakfast). Unfortunately one of the dirtiest McDonald's branches I gave the restaurant a chance and was there on 9/22/24 at 8:35 p.m. What can I say? The employee who spoke to Cappy was so outrageously unfriendly that I left the store without ordering anything! Never again and no thanks!
