McDonald's in Berlin

I only ordered an ice cream and a milkshake, but there were still a lot of people who placed their orders after me who got their food well before me. This included a man who ordered a full meal with ice cream. It got to the point where we had to go and ask the staff about our order because we had to leave. After we finally received our orders, the milkshake had a rancid smell. To top it off, we got extreme stomach aches shortly afterwards. The toilets weren't much better; they smelled really bad, the hooks next to the toilets were broken and the staff were unpleasant. To anyone looking for food near Checkpoint Charlie, please don't go to this McDonald's if you don't want to have a bad day.

We were order number 256 for dine-in, and we waited for order 45 minutes — or more. Surprisingly, we saw that order number 278 got their food before us. It seemed like the kitchen wasn’t preparing the food in order, and I really had no idea how they managed the queue. When we asked the staff, they simply told us to wait. But by that point, we had already been waiting for nearly an hour. All we could do was watch other people who ordered after us receive their meals before us. Finally, we got the food after waiting for 55 min, and found out that they forgot some orders.

Appalling service! I’m a teenager who had a strict time limit to get food- waited over 30 minutes for my order and when I asked for a refund as I had to go all the staff began talking at me and laughing to each other. When I made it clear I had to get a refund and go they took over 5 min and made it seem like an impossible task and called us impatient in German. Wont be going back ever!

I would like to share my impressions compared to MC from Poland. 1. Terrible mess, leftovers of food on the tables, trays left full. Lots of napkins and other papers on the floor. The floor in the toilet is so sticky it's scary. 2. The food - terrible, simply cold, the roll and the cutlet were a disaster like yesterday, they simply tasted like cardboard. Lettuce, 6-8 strips each (in Poland, more fall out sideways). The fries are not too hot either, not very fresh and not crispy. Macflary in a cup 60% compared to Poland. 3. So-so service; the food delivered to the table was ok, but the lady at the toilet was very unfriendly. To sum up I don't recommend it, I would rather advise against it, but I definitely won't come back.

The worst McDonald's I've ever been to, terrible and slow service. I have never waited so long for an order and I also received another addition to the order.

Today (May 2nd) it's just an absolute nightmare here - the service is incredibly slow and after 40 minutes of waiting you get cold food that's inedible and nuggets that are hard as a rock. There are two employees at the dispensing station who do everything except do their actual work. Only two orders were issued within 20 minutes. I wonder if their food was as inedible as mine. It was terrible.

Worst experience! I've been a vegetarian for over 40 years and ordered a mozzarella wrap. I took a bite and realized it was chicken instead—absolutely disgusting !! I went to complain, and all they said was they ran out of mozzarella wrap ingredients, so they just gave me a chicken wrap without asking or letting me know. T They didn't seem to care that it was a big mistake. Luckily, I didn't have a serious food allergy, as it could have been life-threatening. It really ruined my trip to Berlin, and I was hesitant to eat out after that experience at McDonald's near Checkpoint Charlie.

Fast food is relatively... In theory, a nice McDonalds on a very busy tourist strip. However, the staff is regularly overwhelmed when more than 10 customers come at once, which of course happens every day here. At peak times you can sometimes wait 15 minutes for a simple cheeseburger. McDonald's new ordering concept only exacerbates the situation. Subjectively, staff changes more than usual. Unfortunately it's the closest Mc for me.

McDonald’s should be system Gastro. Unfortunately if they remove the fries 25 seconds earlier from the oil, they really taste not good. Can understand they have stress and quite allot of costumers. When I visited it was not busy, but soft fries is not what I want. The burger and the chicken nuggets was ok. Coke with very little ice, due just did not care about it. To the manager of the place. I assume you should train your staff better, to follow the system.

By far the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. The employees don't speak German, the orders take an unbelievable and above-average amount of time and the shop is dirty and untidy. No matter how hungry you are, go somewhere else.

The service was horrible and we waited half an hour for our order when we asked when our order would be ready they said in 5 minutes but they ignored us.

Dije que soy un cliente, ella me ignoró y nuevamente señaló el letrero y continuó hablando por teléfono que nunca se le quitó de la boca. Entiendo perfectamente que habrá un problema con las personas que usan el inodoro que no son clientes debido a la ubicación de la sucursal, pero debe haber algún control del estándar de servicio que esto conlleva, ella fue absolutamente grosera... y eso está siendo educado. I really don't recommend it. Too many lines. There aren't any good things about it, like there aren't many places to clean up. Also, in our case, when we waited, our order was canceled without permission. No apologies, of course.

Honestly one of the worst McDonald's. The staff are idly walking in circles, service is at a glacial pace and the bald guy who seems to be in charge is just rudely barking at customers. Far better service across every other McDonald's in Berlin or the world! After waiting for over 20 minutes and seeing streams and streams of burgers come out of the kitchen and sit on the counter getting cold. Very few customers being served. Front of house clueless and slow. I went back to the till for a refund. There was three full rows of fries also sitting getting cold. Then the bald guy gets the manager from the back to do the refunds! What on Earth is the manager doing chilling in the back whilst the stores going to complete crap!?! Get organized, be respectful.

The constant charging of paying customers to use toilets in Germany is enough to stop me ever wanting to come to Berlin again. The maccies toilet beggar was the rudest one I’ve come across. So for the sake of 50 cents you lost two paying customers, and gave McDonald’s a bad rep. Congratulations! Get with the times. People don’t carry cash anymore, and it’s prehistoric to charge people for their normal bodily functions when they’re your paying customer.

I waited an hour for my order, and my friend was given curry instead of sweet and sour sauce and didn’t even think of assembling the burger properly FOR WHICH SHE WAITED AN HOUR! also without sauce. the floor is dirty, order receipts are everywhere, the lamps overhead are filthy as hell, how am I supposed to eat here? They throw pieces of ice the size of the establishment itself into the drinks, it’s impossible to drink, they also mixed up the topping and poured it so crookedly that all my topping was right on the tray. Should I lick it off? It’s also an incomprehensible squeak, it’s annoying, it squeaked for two hours and didn’t stop. I don't recommend eating here.

Worst McDonald's I've ever experienced. We ordered at the terminal, just over €50, should be delivered to the table. After 40 minutes asked where the food was. “Coming soon” asked again after a total of an hour. The one on the subject of “fast food”.
