There are moments in life that force us to reflect on the fundamental nature of reality. One of these moments recently occurred during my visit to the McDonald’s branch on Handwerkstrasse, Stuttgart. Philosophers have long pondered the nature of being and appearance. What is real and what is just an illusion? These age-old questions posed to me again as, with confidence in modern technology, I ordered a McSundae via the app and sat hopefully at table 77 outside. The app, a symbol of our times, promised convenience and efficiency – the promise of human beings elevated by technology. But sometimes reality reveals a different truth. After 20 minutes of waiting, during which the summer heat only increased my craving for the cool dessert, I began to wonder: Is the McSundae I ordered just an idea that only manifested itself on a Sunday? Was I the victim of a linguistic misunderstanding, a semantic deception? The thought that enjoyment was limited to a certain day of the week filled me with a bittersweet melancholy. After an hour that seemed like an eternity, I decided to leave the shadowy world of the outdoor area and seek the brightness of the interior to ask my questions. There, I was told with sobering clarity that outdoor table delivery would not be offered - despite the app's promise and the ubiquitous advertising touting the simplicity and convenience of this option. This contradiction between advertising and reality raises a profound question: What does it say about us and our society when promises are broken so effortlessly? Are we just consumers in a game of deception where comfort and convenience are just empty promises? In that moment I realized that the true lesson of this experience lies not in the preservation of the McSundae, but in the realization that not everything we are sold as easy and convenient actually is. Maybe the app’s slogan should be: “Order conveniently to the table – but always question reality.” This experience has shown me that the path to knowledge often takes the detour of waiting. But when the wait for a sweet reward ends in a world of empty promises, all that remains is bitter reflection.

Was here again today for dinner. Today we had vegetarian pizza with spinach and salad. And what can I say, it was really tasty. Everything fresh. Hello, McDonald's is actually a very controversial restaurant with one or two myths or assumptions. I can only share my experience here: Today I was in the fast food giant No. 1 on my list and I was happy, the first thing I saw where I came in was 3 terminals out of order, so I was happy "Yay, even more queues" then true It was finally my turn, and then an employee came and simply turned off the screen and told me I should order at the checkout. But I was hungry and didn't let that stop me. Well then just wait, the terminal opened again and I ordered 2 chicken burgers (without salad and sauce) and a 0.5 cola. Then the order was ready, I went to my seat and tried the supposed cola, well it tastes kind of strange... It's iced tea! I went to the checkout and complained, they rudely asked for the receipt and gave me a new Coke... But that's not the end! Then I opened my Chickenburger and thought, there's something green on it! Is that salad?! 🥗. I went to the front with the burger and complained again, "The burger is wrong, please read the label and the receipt without salad and sauce please." So I waited and got a new burger, I went to my seat and looked at it, there's sauce on it! I went to the checkout for the third time and complained again, after an unfriendly "fuck off" the employee gave me my old burger with salad. And all this for 7.97€ McDonald's? Is the money worth the unfriendly service?

Every time I'm here, part of my order is missing. The friendliness of the staff also leaves a lot to be desired.

I had 2 cheeseburgers, 1 hamburger, 1 portion of fries and 1 coke. I had to wait 20 minutes for my food, which isn't the first time. This is a normal time for a normal restaurant, but not for a fast food restaurant. Fast food looks different in my opinion.

The food has significantly deteriorated and portions have become smaller while prices have doubled. You only get half a glass of McSundae ice cream, and the unfriendly staff, who don't speak German at all, say that's the standard. They won't see us again.

- unfortunately no action burgers here for years. I'm here about 3 times a week and I always eat the same thing :-/ I don't like the standard burgers at Mäcces, but BurgerKing is worth it. Mostly land on nuggets. - Otherwise I really like the McCafe, but you can't really pay attention to the money - extremely expensive - how much does a large cappucino cost 4eur? If you take 2eur for it, the margin is already abnormal. The thing can cost more than 1 euro. This is still an (uncomfortable) Mäcces with an abnormal volume level - I'm not in the café here, so it's an impertinence to think that prices here are almost at Starbucks level. - Overall, the price/performance ratio at Mäcces is generally no longer right. I usually leave with a bill of EUR 25-30 and sink EUR 400/month here. Everything has become incredibly expensive. Yes, there is inflation, but I still prefer not to see the margins, otherwise I'll just get upset. Less ADVERTISING and lower prices and, above all, more money for EMPLOYEES and better working hours and conditions, that would be something! If you need constant advertising for a business, something is fundamentally wrong. - the people who are upset about the lack of service here: would you do this job voluntarily? If not, then be friendly and at least tidy up your tray (you have to keep clearing away your trash!) and get out of your mimimi demanding attitude. For me so far the order has been correct in 95% of cases and if a sauce or a napkin or something else is missing, the good Lord has given you a mouth to ask (nicely) and not to vomit on social media about ONE incorrect order - like whether that would help! Do you never make a mistake in your job? 🙄🙄🙄 Yes, it's true that the MA often ignores you and doesn't value you as a guest. So what? After the 500th customer and these working conditions, would you still have the strength and motivation to give every guest a smile and exchange a few words? NO! You'll be so happy when your shift is finally over! This is not the “fault” of the MA, but rather the system or the GREED of McD! Complain to headquarters. If you don't like it, you can go to a real restaurant and WAIT there 3-4 times (you don't have to pay, the Mäcces prices are now way too high for that) - you can see for yourself, right? This is still a fast food restaurant that requires assembly line work. Or - just come to McCafe at 9 a.m. when the store opens. All the employees are still super relaxed, chatty and friendly. And YOUR sound also makes the music! - 2 ambience stars and the reason why I'm writing this review: can you please turn off the annoying ceiling pipe music this week? If you really want music, you have it all in your cell phone and as a Bluetooth in-ear. All the screaming of children, bursting balloons and general chattering/telephoning noise inside and outside is enough! ;-) THANKS!

Comfortably furnished and very clean. Eat the way Mc is :-) What's annoying is that the loud honking signals that the fries are ready, for example, are turned off very late - you have this background noise pretty much permanently.

Various problems occurred several times when accepting orders. We were able to have a very positive, clarifying conversation with the store manager about these issues.

First waited 5 minutes for 6 pieces of chicken nuggets even though the shop was empty. Then the sauce was missing from the tray. When I pointed this out to the employee, she just pointed to the tray and said, “It’s on the tray.” But the sauce wasn't on the tray, otherwise I wouldn't have said anything. Instead of an apology, there was 20 seconds of gaslighting and insinuations that I had stolen a sauce. Then I finally got my sauce. It couldn't be more unfriendly.

Nice McDonalds. Fast food, good and friendly staff. Very large and lots of parking spaces.

With one of the cleanest and better McDonald's in the Stuttgart area, the location is a bit inconvenient, especially on weekends when the bus line is not in operation.

Unfortunately, the older lady who walks around with the headset is extremely unfriendly. I've been trying to say good morning for a while now but nothing. The table service is also very unfriendly... If possible I'm now referring to this branch.

Very nice McDonald's. The furnishings look neat and tidy. The waiting time was, as usual and intentionally, very short. Food was hot, which not every Mc can keep up with. Cleanliness was great, from the tables, floor and toilets.

We had to turn around because two cheeseburgers weren't in the bag and when we drove away we noticed that one of the fries wasn't in the bag either, but we didn't go back.

Yesterday there at the Drive in 2 Mc Chicken to take away and a vanilla milkshake ordered and taken away. Today I have diarrhea that I don't know where the front and the back are. I don't know what it was, but I think in the future I'll just get a Bifi from the gas station and eat it there with it. Heaven The operation at the counter was ok so far.

Best McDonald’s I have ever been to! To begin with the McDonald’s itself, the building is super modern and fancy, there is always free tables and it is pretty much never too packed with people. In addition, the staff is friendly and makes the food pretty quickly. Furthermore, the food looks good and well made and is tasty as always. In conclusion, it is an amazing McDonald’s and I will come more often in the future.

ECHTE CHICKEN NUGGETS ALS PLANT BASED NUGGETS VERKAUFT!!! Ich war vor 20 min im besagten McDonalds Essen, habe mir ein Doppelpackmenü mit McPlant und 6erPlant Based Nuggets bestellt. Die Nuggets wurden in die "Plant-Based"-Verpackung getan, waren Lauwarm was mir schon komisch vorkam und als ich reingebissen habe wusste ich direkt das was nicht stimmt. Als ich zur Kasse ging und die Mitarbeiterin, die mich bediente fragte ob dies wirklich Plant Based Nuggets sind, schaute Sie drauf und sagte direkt "Nein" und warf Sie weg. Ich bekam lediglich neue 6er Plant Based Nuggets. Ich muss ehrlich sagen dass ich schockiert bin das McDonalds (nach dem Burger King Skandal) nichts gelernt hat und auch VERBRAUCHERTÄUSCHUNG macht. Ich esse selten auch Fleisch, aber wenn vegetarische oder vegane Sachen angebotenen werden dann vertraue ich darauf dass das Unternehmen dies ordentlich und Gewissenhaft durchführt. Ihr habt mich als Kunden verlorenen. Passt deshalb gut auf Leute was ihr wo bestellt. Ich rate jedem Vegetarier/Veganer ab dort zu essen!!!

Ich habe den Laden mit einem Kollegen zusammen nach dem essen verlassen wollen.Auf einmal ging direkt hinter uns ein Geschrei los von einem alten glatzköpfigen Mann den wir zuerst nicht einmal verstanden haben. Es war der Filialleiter der uns mit seinem Geschrei auf die von uns nicht aufgeräumten Tabletts aufmerksam machen wollte. Er lief direkt auf uns zu. In einer aggressiven Weise, dass man sich kurz gedacht hat, ob man jetzt auch noch eine gescheuerrt bekommt wegen diesem Fehler. Die Art, wie dieser Filialleiter aufgetreten ist, war für uns ein no go sich zu entschuldigen und/oder die Tabletts aufzuräumen. Nach einem Wortgefecht kamen noch mehrere Mitarbeiter dazu, und wir wurden zu tiefst beschimpft. Der Filialleiter hat seine Drohung mit dem Hausverbot ernst genommen. Bei einem weiteren Besuch ca.3-4 Wochen später mit meinem Sohn zusammen wurde ich gebeten Das Restaurant zu verlassen. Ich hatte schon bestellt mir wurde das Geld zurückgegeben. Es hat mich sehr geärgert, dass ich mit meinem Sohn zusammen dort nicht essen konnte. vor allem, weil ich hier in der Nähe wohne und seit der Eröffnung den Laden häufig besuche. Jetzt kommt die eigentliche Ohrfeige, Ich habe im Internet geschaut, wo ich mich bei McDonald’s über diesen Laden beschweren kann. Habe meine Beschwerde aufgeschrieben, denen zugesandt und wenigstens auf eine Entschuldigung gehofft. Von McDonald’s Seite her hieß es, dass man den Laden angeschrieben hat und der Filialleiter die Sache ganz anders geschildert hat. Aus diesem Grund kann man da auch nichts mehr machen. Das Essen war gut, es wird halt immer weniger/kleiner bei gleichen/höheren Preisen. Das Essen kam schnell und die Mitarbeiter waren freundlich.

Neuer McDonalds, klassisch leckeres Fastfood, Kinder fühlen sich hier immer wohl und lieben das Essen. Oben tolle Kinderecke, sehr viele freue Sitzplätze. Alles sauber. Parkplatz ist etwas zu klein, vor allem wenn die sage und schreibe vier McDonald‘s Autos auch noch Parkplätze wegnehmen. Alles modern und sogar gemütlich. Aufgrund der örtlichen Randlage ist er nicht überlaufen und es gibt immer freue Sitzplätze.

Komplett überfordertes Team, 15 Minuten auf Bestellung gewartet. Iced Frappuccino mit 5 cm Eiswürfel Schicht am Boden anstatt gehächseltem Eis wie gewohnt. Wenigstens hat das restliche Essen überzeugt.

Ich kann nicht viel zum Essen sagen. Der Service Mitarbeiter heute Abend an der Sprechanlage war nicht nur kompetent, hilfreich sondern auch sehr vorausschauend. Klasse Typ.

Ein McDonalds wie man ihn kennt. Gut gelegen und super zu erreichen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten einen Salat mit Alterserscheinungen welcher aber ohne Murren und Knurren gegen einen frischen getauscht wurde. Top.

Eten duurde lang voordat het klaar was, onderdelen miste van de bestelling, waarop weer lang gewacht moest worden. Door drukte was het personeel gestrest en minder vriendelijk dan ik zou verwachten. Restaurant was rommelig en niet zo schoon als gewenst.

Schade. Es wird hier generell kein Frühstück angeboten. Ebenso finden sich nirgendwo, außer den spärlich mit dem Tablett überreichten, extra Servietten. Strohhalme werden nicht überreicht, da wohl gespart werden muss. Die Sauberkeit an den Tischen ist, trotz wenig Kundenandrang, nicht gut. Die Toiletten sind überhaupt nicht gereinigt gewesen.

The food is nothing special but the manager has been unkind and unpleasant to his staff. I have seen this in the restaurant as well as through the drive window. He treats the employees like his slaves… not very welcoming to drive through customers neither. This Mc Donald’s should put in place the Customer Feedback stand. So that people working under pressure and discrimination would be helped by the customers reviews.

Mein Freund hat etwas am Schalter bestellt. Er ist allergisch gegen Senf und der war leider drauf. Also bin ich zum Schalter gegangen und habe gesagt das es keine Absicht war diesen zu bestellen und ich beinahe sicher bin das er gesagt hat diesen Weg zu lassen naja egal. Kein Wort zu welchem Schalter. Auch nicht schlimm es gibt ja nur 1 durchfährt. Also zum 2 Schalter. Keiner da.... nach 2 min kommt der Kollege. Und gibt die nächste Bestellung ein. Kein Wort zu mir gesagt, hatte schon das Geld in der Hand... dreht sich um und geht... kein kleinen Moment oder etwas anderes sondern er verschwindet wieder nach Links weg.. nochmal 2 min gewartet und dann weiter gefahren, da ja wohl ich als Kunde nicht Interessant bin bedient zu werden. Also ich verlange nicht das man mich wie im Restaurant bedient aber ein Lächeln und ein Hallo oder bitte einen Moment kann man glaube ich erwarten. Die Bedienung bei Burger King war übrigens gut.. könnte man sich eine Scheibe von Abschneiden.... Ich hoffe die Bewertungen werden bringt etwas schönen Tag. Ein vertriebener Kunde
