McDonald's in Oberhausen

Seriously, this was the very first McDonald's where I got my food hot, and I felt really comfortable. Believe me, it's a "secret" tip. You'll agree.

The delivery took over two hours. It was nearly impossible to reach anyone by phone. When we finally got through to an employee, they told us the order wasn't in the system and that it was a Lieferando problem. Shortly after, however, they found the order after all. Then they said the driver had gotten lost and they had placed the order again. Then they said the driver was on his way, but unfortunately, something had been forgotten. So, in the end, after two and a half hours, we received an incomplete, lukewarm to cold order. And the promise that the missing items would be delivered with future orders… I think there are better branches and I don't foresee ordering from them again anytime soon. Service problems are passed on to the customer here.

Quite alright. They were stingy with napkins. There are Golden Gulls that are much worse and dirtier.

I got a meal from the drive-thru; the burger had plenty of toppings, and the staff were extremely friendly. Unfortunately, I can't comment on the atmosphere.

Thanks for nothing, I guess. I ordered today via Lieferando for 6 PM, pre-ordered around 5 PM for about €65. At 6:30 PM the food still hadn't arrived. Then I got a message saying the driver was on his way. Two minutes later, it said "order needs to be canceled." I then tried calling the restaurant. They used the clever tactic of not answering the phone. So the kids went to bed with empty stomachs, even though they were really looking forward to it.

Ordered food for an hour later... Three-quarters of an hour after the food was supposed to arrive, it was simply cancelled... Great place - not!

I've given this McDonald's a few chances, but they're so rude and unfriendly. I waited 15 minutes at the drive-thru for four cheeseburgers with nothing but cheese and ketchup, and by the time the rest of the order was cold (the best cheeseburgers were even the wrong ones) 😂😂 Nobody seemed to care! And when I complained on the phone, they just hung up and nobody answered! I paid almost €60 for the wrong food, and it was cold and soggy! I talked to the kids about it, and we're never going there again. My children are the customers of tomorrow! But definitely not there!!!

What a complete dump! Unfriendly, everything was cold and soggy, and I paid €60. I'll never eat there again. When I called to complain, he wouldn't take anything and just hung up on me – completely disrespectful. We should have just eaten a sandwich instead.

I was at McDonald's on Weierstrasse today. I ordered two coffees and both were bad. The manager told us that UHT milk can't go bad, so I won't be coming back. Thanks for giving me a stomach bug. Thanks.

I ate at McCes on Weierstrasse on October 25th, 2025. I have never seen such a rude woman. She was loud and very direct. It was at 10:00 a.m. so that you know which employee it was. She was wearing glasses. I found it bad when we came in and looked at the pastries and she simply said, if you haven't ordered yet then please go and order there, I can't do it now. Then when I asked her about the glass, "Friends", she just grumbled at me and said, why didn't you say it beforehand, my God, I can't take it back. I have no idea what her problem is or was, but I will speak to the manager again.

We stopped here today. The Golden Seagull restaurant is very nice. It was very clean, and the play area is designed as an exercise area. We liked that.

Unfriendly staff, they make customers wait for more than five minutes and are rude when they ask questions. They don't insist on fulfilling your requests and complain.

Shitty place. I come there to grab a quick bite to eat between appointments. I stand there for 15 minutes, nothing happens. Then I'm asked if I ordered anything, show my receipt, and am told that none of my order is ready because they forgot or something. Well, the break is over, and I have to move on, without food and without my money. Go eat somewhere else.

Good space for children to play and nice well-maintained playground outside.

Unfortunately, the service is terrible. Complaints aren't possible via the app, and no one can be reached by phone either. It's better to cook at home; it's cheaper and healthier.

So things have gotten much worse!!!!!!! Every time, something is missing from the order (no, it wasn't busy or hectic). It's really annoying.

The employees make a lot of effort. Trash is always removed immediately, even in the parking lots. The outdoor area is decorated with flowers, giving it a homey feel. Tables could be cleaned more often. It would be nicer for the children if they could play games on the projector like in other stores. The games on the projector are very boring. Prices: The employees can't do anything about it. Vouchers are always available.

I don't like loud talk like Hamborn or dirty like Hamborn here. I'm happy to drive 5 minutes longer to Oberhausen.

I had to wait 25 minutes for my order, and my McFlurry was only half full (the same was true for the other customers). I asked the staff about it, but they showed no understanding.

Not a nice place to eat. The place is very dirty, and the restrooms also looked greasy during our visit. Not recommended.

I made a small mistake when ordering in the app and ordered a cheeseburger instead of a chicken burger. I didn't realize it until I unwrapped it. When the employee at the drive-through noticed my sad look, he swapped the burger for me. Top-notch service, very attentive. I'll be back :-)

It was crowded, so there was a noticeable sense of overwhelm and chaos - the best of it was definitely the Happy Meal selection... luckily the book is printed correctly :)

We were passing through and stopped in. The food was McDonald's, and it was very quiet when we were there. We were pleased to notice that for the first time, there were fresh flowers on every table at McDonald's. The restrooms were also very clean and the staff really nice 😊

Once or twice a year, I crave this "food" and get what my body craves. But I'm always surprised at how well the burgers photograph and how delicious they can look. I'll be back, but not that often.

I always enjoy going there, I'm from Dinslaken, but Dinslaken Mc's are criminals, everything is always wrong at Mc's Drive-In. This one is GREAT, never had any problems. But I don't understand why they have to close a Mc's at 10 p.m. on weekends. Closed from 10 p.m.!!!!

We usually go there often, but today was the last time. We waited an hour and a half until the food was finally ready. When we got home, everything was cold and inedible. My husband wanted to cancel his order because it was taking so long. The staff were incredibly rude and incompetent; they simply left my husband standing there when he complained. Ordered takeout again. And of course, when I got home, I discovered that a key ingredient was missing: the double Big Mac wasn't included. I had to check everything, I hate it.

The food was fresh, the team had the store under control even when it was hectic and busy, and there was always a smile. It was exceptionally clean, and you just felt at home.

The best McDonald's in a long time! Super fast, everything hot and fresh. As I was about to throw away the bag, the lady with glasses and short hair came over and took the trash without a word. Great!

Drive-thru, 30-minute wait. The store employee calls you "Hey, bro." Apparently, the code didn't work either. They told us to drive to the last window. When we got there, they drove us back to the first window. Just bad...

Unfortunately, it was a truly disappointing experience. Three burgers were missing from our delivery. On the phone, they initially didn't believe that something was actually missing. However, the reviews show that this sort of thing apparently happens quite often here. The "suggested solution": We should pick up the missing burgers ourselves. So, we had to drive again, even though we had ordered separately and paid for delivery? Then, on arrival, the next low: no compensation, not even a refund of the delivery costs. Customer satisfaction doesn't seem to play a role here. This was definitely the last time for us.

Were in the drive yesterday around early evening, Service was quick, but unfortunately a cheeseburger was forgotten and unfortunately we didn't get the food, we all spent the night on the toilet with vomiting and diarrhea.

I was there today and ate there, too. Unfortunately, I discovered that the fries were soggy and the mayo was disgusting. The Big Mac and McDonald's Classic Chicken burgers were very tasty. It's a shame that the quality of the fries and mayo has declined considerably.

I was in the branch today and I ordered a Meincraft menu and a Cola Zero and there was some kind of mold on it and the woman at the checkout said it was normal but my mother didn't have it and I had a double for the figure and asked very nicely if I could have exchanged it and I hadn't opened it before but looked at the serial number where you can find out which figure you have and the woman said very rudely that it was fine. I even said that I had a duplicate and then she said bad luck Service and food very bad

The employee at the mc Drive isn't able to speak. He didn't say "please," or "thank you," or "that's all," and he even got rude when he was confronted about it. He was doing the wrong job.

I was at your branch today and ordered a Mc Flurry Cookie Dough with caramel sauce and my girlfriend got the same thing only with chocolate sauce. At first the gentleman at the counter was very unfriendly and complained because I liked it even more because there was extremely little caramel sauce and after a bit of nagging he gave in and gave a little more. I noticed a strange taste of caramel than usual but I ignored it. After 2 hours I felt really sick and threw up. Thanks for nothing

Were there today, the drinks machine was broken. What can happen, but what shouldn't happen. That you simply get a warm, non-carbonated cola brought to your table. Where I complained, they said the machine was broken and the technician was already there. My question is why didn't they say this beforehand and why do we get a coke brought to the table that we can't drink? Why don't we even apologize when we complain? I was only told afterwards that I could have water or an apple spritzer. The service today was poor.

Wow, I've never experienced anything like that. Late shift in the MC was perceived as more unpleasant, no behavior towards customers, speaking in an Asian language and not even being able to understand simple sentences like "Good evening". Just a light yes “Hello”. MC really broke down. And finally, the account was debited twice. I went to McDonald's with my 9 year old daughter to have some hot chocolate, but unfortunately we didn't like it at all. The taste was disappointing and did not meet our expectations. We definitely wouldn't order them again.

I've been sure for a while - everything is just getting smaller and more expensive - today I got the worst Big Mac in years! The patties were paper thin and not nearly as big as the bread - there was a lot of lettuce stuffed so that it wasn't noticeable! What an impudence - you won't see me anymore!

Cold atmosphere Curly Fries had already been fried at least 2-3 times. They were rock hard, lukewarm and delivered with leftover “normal” fries. Not a gourmet experience.

Too stupid to... We stand at the McDrive counter and wait for the 10 pieces of cheeseburger that we ordered and have already paid for. Meanwhile, the customer parks in the alternate parking space in front of us, goes into the building and complains about the lack of a cheeseburger in the order he received. An employee actually goes to his car, has the inmate show him the bag, puts it on the cold floor of the parking lot and unpacks everything. Apparently a cheeseburger was actually missing and the customer was handed it! Then a service lady came to our window and handed us our bag with the words: “Your 10 cheeseburgers”. We drove off and I say, "What do we bet where our 10th cheeseburger is?". And that's how it was, in our bag there were 100 napkins and exactly 9 pieces of cheeseburger. You didn't have to be a clairvoyant, it was so obvious and clear. A little tip: Lying always requires a high level of skill and intelligence and the ability to control your own facial expressions even in stressful situations. So exactly the opposite of what I just experienced with the service staff at this McD branch. I find the mere fact that a customer complaint about a missing cheeseburger is first processed by reclaiming the issued goods, clearing them out and storing them on the ice-cold parking lot floor to be cheeky! But to then satisfy this customer and satisfy his paid claim by not handing over all of the goods he has paid for to the next customer cannot be surpassed in terms of unprofessionalism and impudence. I treat the customer in front of me to the burger, we didn't miss it in the end. The incident isn't dramatic or annoying at all, just funny because it's so predictable and stupid.

A very clean McDonald's compared to other McDonald's in Oberhausen

Burgers and fries were hot and tasty. There wasn't too much ice in the drink, so it was at an optimal temperature. Employees were very friendly. Points deducted because it was very crowded and therefore quite loud. There is also still room for improvement when it comes to cleanliness (trays full and toilets). But overall okay.

If you drive into the drive just before closing time, you won't get any response from the intercom and if you want to order inside, you'll be directed outside in a relatively unfriendly manner

Well, in my opinion, the drinks are unpalatable because the ice content is way too excessive and it's difficult to just drink it. I think my pig is whistling!!

My wife ordered a cheeseburger with just ketchup. We were glad there was meat on our burger. 🤔 It's been five years and we can still laugh about it but can't get over it. There are hamburgers and cheeseburgers, everyone knows the difference.

Drive as well as inside, service super fast and also freshly prepared. So far there have been no problems at this McDonald's. The employees are always very friendly and service-oriented. Hence the 5 stars. I haven't tried the delivery service yet because it's only a 10-minute walk away.

Over 40 minutes in MC Drive because the store is completely overwhelmed. Driving out is no longer possible Drive in and the parking lot is completely closed. The quality of the food was accordingly.

After a long time, tried the branch on Weierstrasse again. Hardly anything changes. Long waiting times and, above all, no order is ever correct. Either you get something else that you didn't order, or worse, it isn't packed at all. It can't be that difficult to read an order from a screen and pack it accordingly. 9 out of 10 orders here were simply wrong.

It is and remains a McDonald's. No atmosphere and the food in reality never looks like it does in the photo or in the advertising

So far the ordering experience has been good. However, today (ordered at 7:30 p.m.) the delivery changed/extended every ten minutes. I don't expect delivery within 10-30 minutes at this time. However, after waiting almost two hours to then hear on the phone that the driver was already on the way - and then after another 10 minutes to get the information on the app that the order had been canceled - this is more than inadequate. Then in the future it would be better to use other providers for burgers etc.

Worst service ever. After half an hour, our food was still not ready. We asked for the manager, and while talking, he walked away! Only after that they started preparing our food. While preparing food they constantly move food from one tray to another. Big mess in the kitchen. Not McDonald's worth.

The frozen yogurt ice cream is often sour and bad. When I complained the boss said it was normal, which it wasn't. Real sleaze shop.

This is one of the slowest McDonald's I know. And they have short opening hours.

Difficult location, always have different experiences there. The visit there depends very much on the performance of the team on site, some hardly speak German, others more, sometimes the portions are decent, sometimes the Bigmac falls apart. If there are any problems, the manager is always there, after all. A little tip: Simply order at the terminal and pay directly, then the food will arrive even faster.

Normally we have always been satisfied in this restaurant! Service was always good and everything was nice, but today it was different. I wanted to have an MC Flurry and an MC Sunday. Actually, I've never had any problems here. If something does happen, it will be put right again without any problem. The employees are always friendly and do their best. The waiting time is usually not long either. The restaurant leaves a good impression because attention is paid to cleanliness.

Ordered food via Lieferando, a couple bundle was ordered which also included an apple turnover in the bundle. When it was delivered, it was noticed that the best-before date label was torn off and the package had already been opened. In addition, the apple turnover was very fish-like. After speaking over the phone, I was clearly told that I was lying. The service is getting worse day by day and so is the quality.

We were there today and wanted to order 2 McFlurry. One via the app because we had enough points. We had to pay an extra €2 for this because of the deposit. Attention: It was exactly the same cup as without a deposit. The other McFlurry wasn't included at all and after discussions we ordered the second one. This was completely liquid (so liquid that you could drink it). The employees were unfriendly, didn't understand what we wanted and immediately started discussing it. In my opinion not recommended.
