Burger King Oberhausen in Oberhausen

We like the food, that's the only reason we go there, and even then, only rarely. On the plus side, it's much faster now, thanks to the self-service kiosks. The menu is also constantly expanding. On the downside, the display board for pickups isn't visible from everywhere. Also, the whole place is as cozy as a train station waiting room – zero ambiance, not very clean, the tray trolleys are almost always full, and nobody empties them. The restrooms are barely acceptable.

The place gave a very unclean impression, both in the dining area and overall. When paying in cash, the only response was "no small change," specifically, the copper coins were missing. There was neither an apology nor an inquiry as to whether it was acceptable not to give the full change. Instead, it was simply assumed that this was acceptable to the customer. While it may only be a small amount of change in total, with several customers, this quickly adds up to a considerable sum. It comes across as unprofessional and leaves a bad impression.

Staff understaffed, dirty, overflowing trash cans, and apparently no heating. It's very cold inside. The food is actually okay, but they only serve lukewarm burgers and fries now. That was my last visit.

I have no idea what's wrong with the store clock or the staff at this particular branch, but it seems to be standard practice to turn away customers who arrive well before closing time. While this might be understandable in exceptional circumstances, it's unacceptable when it's the norm and the employees are clearly exploiting it with smug smiles and obvious disrespect. I think this is a case for the press.

The staff seemed very irritable and tense, I didn't like that at all.

We ordered the food 3 hours ago and it still hasn't arrived. When I spoke to the employee, he was rude, even though I was promised a 40-minute delivery time when I placed the order. Absolutely no reliability. A terrible restaurant, definitely not recommended.

It was more or less good, we paid huge amounts and still half of it was forgotten.

I've noticed several times that the sauces, like ketchup, always stick to my hand because the packaging is smeared with sauce. It seems to me that they're handing the packages from used trays to the next customers without even wiping them off. My next problem is the somewhat older lady with black hair. She's too loud for me, and whenever she's there, she interferes in everything, which is why my orders often arrive incorrectly. It also happened once that she charged me an extra euro for my "King of the Month" order just because I wanted a burger. She claimed that the burger had to be prepared especially for me. I found out that this was incorrect after I called the main branch.

The food arrived earlier than shown in the app, however, two items were missing from the order. I tried calling ten times, but no one answered, and Lieferando's website also says there's no way to contact them. It's simply embarrassing and speaks volumes about their poor management.

Endless waiting time. Even when it's empty. Always understaffed. The same thing every time. A 15-minute wait for two chicken burgers and a Coke.

We waited more than 15 minutes for two burgers. And they weren't even that tasty.

This place is seriously the absolute worst! There was only ONE car in front of me at the drive-thru, and not a single customer waiting at the counter inside. Despite that, you still have to wait at least 10 minutes from ordering to receiving your order. Then the employees finally understand my German. I ordered three Chicken Nugget Burgers and only got one! It's just sad that places like this still exist! If they worked at McDonald's, they'd be bankrupt. And you can really tell they don't care. The absolute worst place! I hope it closes down soon!

A nice, large Burger King location. Friendly staff who clearly enjoy their work. You can eat here at a great price using the app coupons. Even without the app, the King of the Month meals for €5.99 or individual burgers offer a quick and affordable meal. And if any problems do arise, the managers are always eager to find a good solution.

This Burger King has a good atmosphere, good staff, not too long a wait, and the food was good too. However, the fries got cold quickly. They had those cool paper crowns for kids, and we were lucky that it wasn't very busy. The stairs were sticky, but the view was good, and the restrooms were clean. I can definitely recommend it if you're in the area.

Before the event at the Turbine Hall, I quickly grabbed some junk food to fuel my various cold beers. Parking is available here, though not exactly encouraged. It's better than parking directly at the Turbine Hall, which usually gets very crowded during events. 😉

The floor was dirty, and the entire staircase was sticky on a Sunday afternoon, so not exactly prime time. Unfortunately, the mess continued in the toilet...

I was seriously threatened because of the review. They said they wanted to eat my eggs, etc.

Actually, the standards at Burger King should be the same, but the fries here taste amazing.

The food is delicious, the service is top-notch, at least everything is right here and everything tastes great 👍🏾

We only used the drive-thru, mind you. The service was acceptable, even friendly. The food was delicious, as always, in my opinion. It's one of the few restaurants that hasn't forgotten anything when I've ordered from them so far.

Most of the coupons and promotions aren't available at this Burger King, so be prepared with backup orders. It's a bit disappointing not to have all the coupons when they've already drastically reduced prices across all Burger King locations. The food is okay, but the wait can be a bit tricky due to a lack of staff. The store is okay.

Worst visit I've ever had to Burger King. You order with the app, then you're told they're out of the product you want and you're fobbed off with another, cheaper product. You also order a coupon for the new cheese dip. After receiving the order, we're told that the cheese dip is out, and we have to understand that, but of course, everything is explained to the cashier in advance. Then you order a kids' menu, and upon receipt, you're told that there are no toys in stock. That wasn't even the end of it; the employees would rather have private conversations or snack in the kitchen than take care of paying customers. The terminals were also out of order, and when it got busier, an employee said we should turn them on. I believe these were meant to avoid too much work at once. The restrooms were clean where Solana was. I will write down my visit again and email it to the appropriate department.

I don't even know where to begin... Ambience: what an ambiance! Order terminals not working, tables dirty, floor sticky with every step. Staff: seemingly overwhelmed with 10 customers, 30-minute wait, the latest form of slow food, orders not complete. No change, Arguments with the 10 customers at the counter. A team leader who just ran around like a scared chicken. Once and never again.

After being fobbed off by the rather rude waitress, you sit down at one of the many dirty tables and bite into your cold burger and fries for €12. That pretty much sums up the experience.

Everything was fine. Preparation was very quick. Restrooms and the interior were clean. Thanks to vouchers (Burger King app), we didn't pay much.

Furthermore, the burgers were unfortunately very cold... I would recommend that no one eat at this Burger King again. It's too much waste for the money and the food. We called 6 times, but no one answered. And our Lieferando order was also canceled. All on the same day and within 30 minutes.

Another incomplete order at the drive-thru – very disappointing! Unfortunately, you can't give 0 stars!! I ordered 6 burgers at the drive-thru, but only received 3 of them – that's absolutely unacceptable. This isn't the first time this has happened. You pay full price and only get half of your order. Of course, when you realize it at home, it's too late. I expect much more care from a large company like Burger King! But I went there in a case like this. They were really offended that we didn't check it immediately!! And such rude behavior for paying for food that you didn't get is the absolute worst!! You didn't even get an apology!!!!!! Worst service I've ever experienced at Burger King! No hello, no bye, have a nice day... NOTHING! The store is dirty, and if you have a question for an employee, you're ignored. At some point, you're allowed to ask your question. The answer is "I don't know," and the employee just walks away, leaving you standing there.

This service is an absolute catastrophe. I drove to Burger King today to the drive-thru and ordered something there. I told the woman that I wanted ketchup with the fries that came with it and the employee wasn't even able to fulfill these instructions or fulfill the customer's request. I think that's really disgraceful. If the customer wants ketchup with the fries, then the customer wants ketchup with the fries and no mayo. If I carry on like this, no one will order from Burger King anymore. Hopefully, all Burger King restaurants will close by then. 🤬😡 I will complain in writing to head office about the poor customer service and poor order taking. I think this will be the last time I order something from the drive-thru at this Burger King. The employees are completely unable to fulfill the wishes of the customers this year by ordering something that took seconds and unfortunately they are not able to do that. I hope that no one orders from this Burger King restaurant anymore and that they go under. Nobody orders anymore and that this place is closing down.

We stopped briefly while passing through and got a burger, nuggets, and two shakes. An employee misread an item, but corrected it at the second window. The nuggets were hot. We didn't go inside.

The restaurant was clean and our food was ready quickly, even though it was already a bit busy. Unfortunately, the nugget burger only had two burgers instead of three, though I don't know if that's standard these days.

We ordered from Burger King Oberhausen Mülheimerste. We waited over two hours. Even though the app said "almost there" [was] on your phone, we couldn't reach anyone. The burgers were completely squashed, as if something was written on them. Two burgers were missing completely. Sorry, but it was a complete disaster. P.S.: Unfortunately, I have to give it one star otherwise.

I ordered via Lieferando and was told there would be a wait time of about 40 minutes. After 20 minutes, the friendly employee was at my door. The food was still warm, too warm considering the 30+ degrees outside, so I had to wait to eat it. :D Thank you! :)

EVERY TIME!! Vomiting and stomach upset after this Burger King visit! Months always go by before we decide to get something from Burger King again, and we regret it EVERY TIME! People - DON'T DO IT! PLUS, I think it's the slowest Burger King fast food chain there is.

Aside from the fact that the waiting times at this restaurant are always ridiculous and the food is always cold, the interior today was in a disgusting state. After complaining about the food because the fries and burgers were cold, we sat upstairs. ALL the tables were dirty; there was even trash stuck to the walls. You couldn't return tablets because they were full. No wonder there are ants crawling there in this filth. Simply disgusting, just like the restrooms, which you can't use.

The food was carelessly slapped together, you got 2 napkins for 2 burgers with fries and 2 snacks, you couldn't get one, the dispensers were empty and full of germs. The food was prepared quite quickly and the restaurant was empty when we arrived. A burger was too cold, the bun wasn't really warm and the cheese wasn't melted. The table and the seating area were dirty, the glass elements around the seating area were so dirty that we were shaking. The location is dilapidated and some of the inventory is very worn out. Cobwebs hang from the ceiling, the last coat of paint seems to have been a long time ago, paint is peeling from the ceiling. The fact that door leaves in the hygiene sector should be cleaned regularly is apparently unknown there. Actually everything was dirty and uninviting. The employees seemed unambitious. There was an accident vehicle in the parking lot and the outside area looked unkempt. No umbrella outside, the chairs are falling apart. Overall, I wouldn't want to go back, things are much better. You get the feeling that people there hate their job and would rather not be there. Too bad.

Unfriendly staff and catastrophic service! I have never had such a bad experience at Burger King. When I politely asked when my food would be ready after waiting 20 minutes (with drive in, the number of visitors at that time wasn't even double digits), I was shouted at by an extremely unfriendly employee - in front of all the guests! Everyone was staring at me, it was just embarrassing and uncomfortable. When I asked for the employee number, I was completely ignored. No answer, no interest, just ignorance! Instead of giving me clear information. Nobody bothered to give me a reasonable answer. That's not how you treat customers! I definitely won't eat here again. Absolutely disappointing! I have a photo of the MA if the tenant is interested.

There are some nice workers working there, but I still waited half an hour for my food on March 13th, 2025. There are 3 employees in the restaurant, which is far too little. And the maintenance of the restaurant, you don't want to talk about it.

I have rarely seen such slow working staff in a Burger King branch. If you would like to buy some fast food here, please bring some time. But the food was good so far.
