What actually happened here? I'm not from here, but because of the locations in the area you always end up here and have known the branch for many years. You order at the self-service counter and wait for ages. You can safely leave out the screen that says it's being prepared/ready for collection, it will print everything as ready pretty quickly anyway, even if you can wait another 5 minutes+. If it takes too long you should listen. Recently a receipt was obviously lost because it was only "found" when asked. But no reason to lie to the customer and say it will take a moment. In total it was almost a quarter of an hour. The store now seems constantly dirty, but you can't see anyone in the store because the employees behind the counter are already overwhelmed. The seating area upstairs is almost always closed, even if the shop downstairs is full. You can generally pick it up yourself, because if you choose table service, no one here will care. The signs at the self-service counters are always missing and if you choose service anyway, you will notice later when the people at the counter call your number through the store (it will have long since disappeared from the screen)... And now there are errors in orders. Sometimes the products are not the way you know them or you simply have different drinks (e.g. I order a Diet Coke and get an iced tea). At least the food is always hot since everything seems to come fresh from the kitchen. I hope that things will change for the better here in the future, because that's how it normally is and you wouldn't drive there again...

Worst McDonald's I've ever been to. You order via the app, enter the table number and the staff stands with four people behind the counter, doesn't move an inch and just shouts the table number so that you should pick it up yourself. After looking around a lot, I also noticed that the table displays at the ordering terminals had been taken away... Here you don't want to bring food to the customer. I won't say anything about the friendliness of the staff. This branch really makes you lose your desire for McDonalds

By far the worst place there is. Waiting times are beyond belief. Employees (usually just one) are completely overwhelmed and rude. Absolutely not recommended for this popular and well-known fast food restaurant. The best recommendation I can give is to avoid this dump.

Been back for a long time, got 5 items: drink, fries, double chili cheese, McRib and an ice cream. 2 out of 5 products were defective. Wrong and cold burger, fries without salt. A 40% reject rate is really bad. Of course I only noticed it at home. I also ate there again, I really like the taste of the food but the prices are so high these days. I also know that McD is not solely responsible for this, but you really can't afford that often.

Not recommended! I went to this McDonald's yesterday with a friend. We ordered at a digital ordering terminal and then went to the checkout to pay. Despite a long wait and repeated inquiries, we were ignored and then treated unkindly. Worst part: Both my girlfriend and I couldn't tolerate the food - we felt very sick for two days afterwards and basically had food poisoning. Absolutely unacceptable!

Unfortunately I actually have to give it 1 star. Not even that is deserved. In addition to a preparation time of 40 minutes, a dirty restaurant, cold burgers and an incompetent and unfriendly branch management who can't even read completely but encourages the staff to pack properly, in the end I'm happy that none of my children had to go to the toilet. A successful joy for the children, perhaps they are now healed too.

Once and never again. The checkout operator couldn't say please or thank you and I had to read the amount I was supposed to pay from the cash register myself. After paying, wait about 25 minutes for the food (quick service restaurants are different). But there is still one positive point, the food was still warm and complete when I ordered, since I had to wait so long I could see that many guests came back because something had been forgotten.

The ice cream machine for Mac Flurry, milkshakes and more was unfortunately broken on December 30th, 2019 in Oberhausen, Mülheimer Straße. That can always happen. When I asked if they could give me a free cinnamon cake instead, the answer was no?! You have to accept it. But otherwise: this branch was pretty well structured that evening.

So this stay was really wild. First of all, you had to wait at least 15 minutes before you could pay for your order in cash at the counter because the store was simply overcrowded. There were far too few staff. The staff was also visibly stressed to the maximum. Then another 15 minutes were added to prepare the order. When we arrived at the table, the "M" burger had slipped and a slice of cheese was lying loose in the packaging. But since we had already waited a good 30 minutes beforehand, complaining wasn't an option for me. The ambience on the upper floor is a 5/5. Very stylish and cozy.

To be honest, I come in there and all I see is oily eyes and incompetent staff who don't even serve you at the checkout, every staff member looks at me but keeps walking past and doing something else. Everyone is overwhelmed and not cut out for the job. Anyway, it's a joke that they have completely closed the upper dining area since Corna was there and haven't reopened it, probably because they don't feel like working. I'm surprised how the store can still survive.

We weren't served here after 7 minutes at the drive in (first the only car, then the first of several cars). I then drove up to see what was going on and was then told to order at the order counter (where we waited 7 minutes). This was pointed out to us and we were told that the guy in charge had done something else and is now back, we have to get in line again.

Hello dear management or branch management, on December 30th. I was in the branch in the evening. What I found out was that there were only male employees there and there was a young lady working there who was cleaning the whole time. I can't comment on the division of work, I don't know it and it's not important in this case either. The male employees are also good employees, they actually work quickly and are friendly. The problem is the constellation of employees. When these male employees work together, mutual sympathies are so high that they call each other like big brother is called in Turkish. As a result, the employees' euphoria grows so strong that they even start giving the lady inappropriate comments and looks out of whim. You shouldn't blame the employees, because it's due to the wrong employee planning by the final management. The employees haven't just been there since yesterday and things like this have to be regulated by management. When I'm at it, I don't even go to the McDonald's at Aqua Park anymore, because when the branch is full I ride my e-bike through the drive. It's allowed at one branch and not at the other, it all depends. whether I am likeable in the eyes of the management or not. It said only vehicles with motors, ok I have a bike with a motor????? None of this is possible - the old saying that the customer is king has been forgotten and the employees themselves decide how the customer is treated. Since I didn't have a lock that day, I would have expected a solution from the management (as a regular customer) and next time I would have accepted the branch management's rule, but not like that. If you would like, I can take over the management of both branches in order to get back on track so that in the future I can again have the feeling that I, as a customer, come first. But with this working concept everyone sets their own rules, that doesn't work. Best regards

You don't expect too much when you go to McDonald's, but a certain level of cleanliness, just a little bit, kind of. The shop was empty, there were 6 other people there next to us and 20 of the 25 tables were full of rubbish, but the tray trolleys were also overfilled, so even if you wanted to, you couldn't put anything there. There was an old apple kitche on a table and the floor was littered with old chips and nuggets.

Actually a normal McDonald's restaurant. So far I've been happy here too. But not today. I was there with my two grandchildren. The restaurant wasn't exactly clean today. The tables were not cleaned. The crumbs from our predecessors were still there. Not just on our table. We had a menu and two happy meals. When we wanted to eat at the table, a drink was missing. Then the children looked for their ketchup and mayonnaise. These were also missing from my menu. Complained again and picked it up. For this day I can say we got the missing things.

Update 12/18/24 Nuggets max. lukewarm, which makes the breading sticky. Fries are a bit older. Burger okay - seems to lack BBQ sauce, the McRib is dry. Instead of the apple turnover there was a chocolate... that was nothing at all. As a corporate you were good at the location. Not anymore. To be honest, a 25 minute wait at the drive is too long. Then wait another 5 to 10 minutes until the order came, out of 20 nuggets more than half were old and at most lukewarm. That was nothing, unfortunately everything else in the area was already closed.

Phew, I decided against writing a review for a long time, but after having had incredibly bad experiences three times on Saturday nights, there's no other way. The store is an absolute dump / the service is terrible!!! As I said, here I'm only referring to a visit on the weekend at night (where there's not much going on)... in MC Drive you wait up to 20 minutes even though there's nothing going on until you can finally order something. As an example, you order 3 cheeseburgers WITHOUT cucumbers and get 3 cheeseburgers WITH cucumbers that look like you've already thrown them up three times. Love for food definitely looks different... When I asked the service company, they apologized for the bad experience, but that was no compensation recommend avoiding this place :)

Overall a very small shop. The parking lot is somehow blocked and you have to use the McDrive lane to get to the store. Toilets without toilet paper, sinks without soap. Thank God we only had coffee. You almost have to be afraid of catching something when people can't wash their hands after using the toilet and then sit down at the table to eat.

I don't know what's worse, that you nibble off half of the label on a peach yoghurt bag you've bought with the date and time it was prepared and until when it can be consumed and you only tear it off halfway and you can still see the date. I didn't pay attention to it at first, but after consuming it I had stomach cramps 2 hours later. Then I looked at the packaging and noticed that we had something on it 1 day later than the date. If you're going to fool people and give out goods that are no longer suitable for consumption, then cut the crap off completely!!! . But that just shows how stupid some people really are. But the greater impudence is that I looked in vain for the receipt in the bag, only it was probably (intentionally) not included because otherwise I would have black and white proof of the purchase of the rotten goods. This is a systematic rip-off and rip-off, because even at the drive-in, food is literally thrown into the car. The main thing is that you piss off quickly so that you can't even see if everything is complete or in order. In the past it has happened that things were missing even though they were ordered then you drive and you only notice it when you get home. I would have liked to report this, but I have the obligation to provide proof and without a receipt, it's stupid and I'm just too stupid to sacrifice my time for such brainless staff

Incredibly bad service. We wanted to redeem a voucher at McDrive using the app. According to the employee, the code was not valid. Then we drove up to the window and I created the voucher code in front of the employee. We could hear "The voucher doesn't work" the whole time. Is it our job as a customer to solve this problem? It is the employee's job to find a solution to redeem the voucher. I find it difficult to imagine that there is no option for this on the cash register system. We then left again without food.

This McDonalds is definitely not recommended - no planning or structure in the processes. Table service orders are simply ignored and not processed. The order of numbers is not followed - everyone just does what they like about the order. There is no teamwork! Everyone completes their order alone or simply takes the burgers/fries etc. down from the tray for their colleagues. Really poorly staffed and personnel planning needs significant optimization in terms of German and English language as well as in the process planning of what needs to be done and when. Today we had to wait 50(!) minutes for our order. Some of the burgers and fries were cold. A refund was refused because the order was no longer in the system after the first request due to the half hour wait. The Happy Meal book was rejected at the first attempt, but we would have gotten something. We just didn't want a toy - when we asked the branch manager what the problem was with exchanging it, we were told: "It's too much work to get them out of the warehouse now." I wouldn't recommend visiting here!!!!

Ordered two cheeseburgers and two hamburgers. Arrived home and realized there were only two hamburgers in there. Thanks for nothing McDonalds. Children were completely unhappy. To all: Always check the bags! Apparently people work here who don't know what goes into the bags.

The worst McDonald's I've visited. Long wait!!! Nothing works in McDrive, the people are incompetent and unfriendly, I can't explain why it still exists. Better visit the McDonalds at BERO.

Already ordered many times. Something is always missing. Constantly disappointed. I prefer to go to Heifeskamp, the staff there is at least competent so far and they're open 24/7! To the burger in hand: I ordered a Double Big Mac Bacon TS. I'm pretty sure that a "double" version has twice as much meat on it or something. I could be wrong too. The other burger: From a buddy, there was simply nothing on it on the top bun floor LOL 😂 He then improvised with his nuggets 🤣 Well, wouldn't recommend. Do yourself a favor and go to another branch if possible or, best of all, skip the mcces experience completely. 😘

Little Mc, I can't say anything about the atmosphere, we were alone. Excellent food and friendly staff. So you can feel free to drop by there to grab a bite to eat or pick it up.

So McDonald's is okay even with a playground but always packed except early in the morning, all other times you have to wait at least 10 minutes and I only ordered a drink but it took 15 minutes

First I am told that I should pay at the second counter and then, as a woman, I should drive backwards because it would be the first counter. When I asked him to take the money and settle it at the cash register, he said no. I backed up to pay and he brought the product to the register. I strongly recommend customer service training!!!!! Simply discriminatory as a woman!

We ordered drive-thru today. When we ordered we were not given a burger. When I got home we noticed it. I called there immediately. The manager on the phone was very friendly and called up my order and apologized for not including the bug. We were there and got the freshly prepared burger. Great service and my problem was solved quickly.

Were there around midnight. Almost 20 people were waiting for their food (to take away). The service was completely overwhelmed and visibly annoyed. After almost 40 minutes we finally got the food only to find out that half of it wasn't what was ordered (it was ordered from the machine)

DANGER !! RIP-OFF!!! The parking space in front of the MC Donalds was rented to PRS GmbH, and if you forget the parking disc... it costs directly 45€!! ... it's GREAT, the whole center is free parking, no sign of a parking disc... and in front of the MC's you had to make sure that you put the parking disc in... you can tell me what you want!!! They're trying to make sure that someone forgets their parking disc... probably the managing director of MC's also makes money from it?!? ... I wouldn't be surprised ... Stupid business model ... only earn this 45€ from me once!!

Disgusting is the best word for this situation. I am at Oberhausen main station very often and occasionally go to this McDonald's branch, but my last visit remains my last. I ordered a Mc Smart menu when I got it everything was okay, but after I took 2 bites there was a hair in the food when I told the employee what had happened he said “no, that's not right, I can't see it” I had to repeat myself twice and speak in a louder tone until he saw it, strangely enough only when the other customers had looked at it, so in general the employee was not cooperative. I asked for my money back because I had lost my appetite and all I got was "I can't do that, I can only offer you a new burger." I continued to insist on my money and then I didn't even get the whole money back, only part of it and no compensation or apology.

I actually give negative reviews as rarely as possible, but unfortunately there's no other way here... Even though I was the only one who ordered, the pizza and rolls took forever. In terms of noise, based on the pinging noises from the kitchen, I would assume that the ingredients are being defrosted in the microwave. The pizza definitely tasted like that. Not even a quarter of it was eaten and it went straight into the trash. I basically had to change the money myself because the baker couldn't do it. First and definitely last order. For Corona protection: small shop therefore annoying that there is no cutting disc at the counter. However, masks and gloves were worn

The food is always very tasty and I was actually very positively surprised when I ate something with fries and they were really very good. Unfortunately, the ambience doesn't offer many "comfortable" seats, but the service is always very nice and takes care of any special requests
