McDonald's near Centro. Food is typical of McDonald's, but with hot food and no soggy fries, which is definitely a plus. However, you should know when events are taking place and plan for a bit more staff. I think you were very thinly staffed that evening, which is why there were extreme wait times.

Visited on May 25th before the musical, highly recommended! IMPORTANT: Parking disc!!! We were at the McDonald's near the Musical Theater on May 25th from approximately 5:00 PM to 6:15 PM and were very satisfied overall! The store was clean, tidy, and the staff extremely friendly. Particularly worth mentioning is one employee who was tirelessly on the go; he felt like he walked 50,000 steps a day... He was so incredibly cheerful and friendly. It was impressive to see how well the team worked together. The only criticism: The accessible restroom was locked, and unfortunately, there was no information on how to get it opened. For someone who relies on it, that was very unfortunate. Afterwards, however, someone approached us, apologized, and explained how it was handled. We found that very friendly and thoughtful. A great McDonald's, ideal before a musical. Our clear recommendation!

I have not experienced anything so outrageously disgusting in a long time. The staff do "almost" nothing and what they do is simply bad! Disgusting food, you can't hold your burger because they throw the sauces around, the cars are overflowing with rubbish, every table is completely smeared and dirty, for several hours they definitely didn't tidy up at all!!! And then it's apparently compulsory to use a parking disc because otherwise you'll get a 45 euro ticket because that's what private property wants, whereas the law in Germany is only 20. Thanks for the stay!!! Never again! Many more reviews like this will follow in the next few days.

Absolute rip-off. We had barely been there for five minutes and there was a note hanging on the car with a €45 fine for parking without a parking disc. The location is no longer visited. It's better to park for free in the Centro and eat there. Of course I will take legal action against it because the executing agency is a private company.

Really bad service, my car was doused with coke by an employee in the drive-in. In the store, it was very difficult to understand each other due to the constant loudness, there were rats and cockatoos running through the kitchen, there was hair in my burger and a caterpillar in my salad. The employees didn't wear gloves or hairnets. We had to wait for 2 hours for our food and when it was ready, after a lot of discussion, we couldn't enjoy it because of the constant shouting from the employees. Due to these disgusting conditions, I won't go to this McDonald's enter more!!!

The parking space in front of the MC Donalds was rented to PRS GmbH, and if you forget the parking disc... it costs directly 45€!! ... it's GREAT, the whole center is free parking, no sign of a parking disc... and in front of the MC's you had to make sure that you put the parking disc in... you can tell me what you want!!! They're trying to make sure that someone forgets their parking disc... probably the managing director of MC's also makes money from it?!? ... I wouldn't be surprised ... The parking rules and fines are an outrage! For certain reasons we had to stop there and get refreshments at the same time. Unfortunately, the car we had to borrow doesn't have a parking disc. Even beforehand you felt like you were in great hands. We clarified by phone with an employee whether it would be possible to reserve tables and happy meals for a children's birthday party with 15 children and 2 adults. Everything went smoothly. The tables were set very nicely. Pens, meal slips and craft supplies were provided. The Happy Meals arrived quickly. The place was right next to a play area, a little away from everyday life. This optimally compensated for the closed outdoor play area. Children were all happy, had fun and were fed. Overall it is very clean there despite a rainy Sunday. Even the floor and the toilets. The employees were always helpful and extremely friendly. We would like to thank you very much and would recommend this restaurant again and again!

Disappointing visit – once and never again Unfortunately, our visit on Saturday evening around 9 p.m. was anything but positive. Despite there being fewer guests in the restaurant, there were numerous deficiencies that made the stay seem uncomfortable and unprofessional. We had ordered food with table service, but were loudly asked from across the restaurant to pick up our own food. This does not match the advertised service. We also didn't get any napkins. When we asked politely, we were greeted with an unfriendly look - such a customer-unfriendly reaction is not acceptable. The food itself was mixed: the meat patties seemed completely unseasoned, which significantly spoiled the enjoyment. What was positive, however, were the curly fries, which were well prepared and had a bright spot in terms of taste. Lacks in hygiene could not be overlooked: the tables and benches were sticky and dirty, and the return trolleys for trays were overflowing. But instead of caring about cleanliness or service, employees stood behind the cash register chatting instead of doing their jobs. Additionally, the musical background was disturbing: within the 30 minutes we were there, the music was constantly changing, and the volume fluctuated every few minutes between unpleasantly loud and barely audible. This seemed chaotic and created an unpleasant atmosphere. All in all, this was a disappointing visit to a branch that we definitely won't be visiting again. Cleanliness, service and professionalism should be urgently reconsidered here.

I went to the drive-thru in the evening after work to get something to eat. Don't want to judge, but I don't understand how hard it can be to count to 4. 4 burgers are ordered and 3 arrive. “Check the contents before you drive” How often does it happen that you pack something incorrectly that I, as a guest, have to check whether you can count higher than 3. Honestly always sad and of course not the first time. I don't want to judge anyone, but if I pay 30 euros for food, I expect the meal to be complete. If that's not a solution, then approach the guest somehow. But when I read this I realize that it's not that popular here.

Extremely unfriendly atmosphere/staff and dirty. The table service displays are dirty or missing and the staff visibly rolls their eyes when they call up the number and realize that table service has been selected. Then the tray is thrown quite carelessly "at your feet" after one of the ladies shuffles up to the table. The culmination is that of course something is missing and if you want to complain about it, the other waitress (cashier, with microphone/headset) will pounce on you as a "reward". When you ask what the unfriendliness is about, you are immediately "shot back" that you yourself "started it" because you complained about the lack of food... So I am aware that this generation has no longer learned "the customer is king" and you don't have to put up with everything, but you should have learned a little friendliness/how to deal with a customer, especially if you're serving in the front row.... I work in the service sector myself and would never do that with customers deal with it... it's a real shame... The branch actually has potential...

A very calm MD. The food here is usually always warm and sometimes even hot. The burgers come well stocked with salad and usually have enough sauce to get your fingers dirty. The table service is always friendly and the food always comes very quickly. When you are here, you should take the parking disc signs seriously.

I would first like to express my full understanding that a Sunday 9/29/24 at McDonald's can be extremely stressful. I am aware that on such a day there is a high volume of customers and the employees are often under pressure to cope with the rush. It is completely clear to me that there is a lot to do and I have great understanding for that. However, my last visit to the branch was unfortunately not particularly pleasant. I ordered several individual purchases as I was also ordering for friends. I didn't do this to intentionally create more work, but because in my case there was no other way to solve it. If I had the opportunity to combine everything into one order, of course I would have done so. To my dismay, however, I was indirectly criticized for my multiple ordering by the employee who appeared to be the manager of the shift - he was wearing a checked shirt and giving instructions to the other employees. His statement: “We have nothing better to do than create 10 individual orders” was not only exaggerated (it was only 4 orders, not 10), but was also expressed in an inappropriately loud and unfriendly tone. I understand that the workload is high, but as a customer I expect that such frustration is not expressed in front of the guests. In this case, I felt exposed and unwelcome, which shouldn't happen in a chain as large and customer-focused as McDonald's. Instead, I felt guilty because I placed multiple orders, which I find very unfortunate. In addition to my previous experience, as a customer I also had to hear the manager shouting loudly in front of the guests that the employees were not allowed to take breaks. He also complained in an unfriendly tone that an employee was in the toilet for “too long,” even though he had only been gone for two minutes. I find it extremely inappropriate that such internal issues are discussed so loudly and inappropriately in front of customers. Not only does it create an unpleasant atmosphere, but it also raises questions about the work culture in this branch. If employees have to work under such conditions, it understandably affects their motivation and ultimately also their dealings with customers. It is unfortunate to witness something like this as as a customer I now feel that the pressure is being transferred not only to the guests but also to the staff who clearly do not have the opportunity to get adequate rest or basic needs how to fulfill breaks. I'm now wondering how McDonald's views this situation and how the company can ensure that customers are treated with respect even in stressful moments and that employees have their legal rights.

We just wanted to order with coupons in the Mc Drive at the Centro Oberhausen/Aquapark. The lady at the counter was completely overwhelmed and couldn't cope at all. We couldn't find a code right away because the app changed and then ordered something else BUT didn't complete the order yet. When we were finally able to call up the code, the lady said: "That doesn't work, she had already completed the order. Go to the counter." Perplexed, we drove up, but we asked nicely again. The lady immediately said rudely: "I've already sent the order, then I have to cancel it. Don't you see what's going on here". We asked to cancel it and she said she would call the shift manager. The window would be slammed shut. End of song, after 15 minutes of waiting we left. Never seen anything so incompetent. You should reconsider the staff!

Slow service! Tried twice to ask for serviettes as none given, was acknowledged both times but walked away both times as if I wasn't there......very rude! Ordered a Big Mac, no sauce but it came with sauce, decided to eat anyway as I'd only be ignored if I went back to the counter a third time!!! After spending nearly €50, I just found it very poor!!!!

Naughty employees ask you if you have one. You can get a straw and the answer here is no. It's a long wait for a small fries. If you find an mcs near Cologne and ask for a drink with a straw, you'll get it. You should follow their example.

Nice shop, tidy and fast service. Even if the burger is missing, action is taken quickly and easily 👍 The one star deduction comes from a beeping sound that can be heard continuously and the fact that there is a bit of a drag in some places. That is of course a matter of opinion. In summary, a very nice shop, we'll be happy to come back

If I could, I wouldn't give it a star, the branch is dirty and disgusting & that's what the food looks like. We waited almost an hour for our food, while others who came in and ordered were served much earlier. The old orders are put at the bottom and the new ones at the top, so you have to wait longer and longer. Worst McDonald's I've ever been to, the Drecks branch is closing, there are plenty of other branches nearby that have much more competent and friendly staff than here.!! Caves bad!!

Waiting time of 30 minutes in a McDonald's was far too long, and my food was only prepared when I asked. There were probably 30 people waiting in the waiting area, some even for over 45 minutes. Burger was cold too. Don't know if it's due to poor planning or the employees themselves.

The MC D at the Aquapark is a total disaster. Best time to eat there. 11:00 o'clock. Otherwise the employees will be overwhelmed. But I think it's not the attitude but really the lack of staff. Sunday afternoon, the shop was full until the end and I counted a total of 6 employees. I felt sorry for the poor MA. A fast food restaurant then became a slow restaurant. I would have had food quicker in any real restaurant. After 25 minutes, a number of customers were upset. There was a lot missing for most of them. But hey, I got 3 more drinks that I didn't even order. If you are nearby, it is better to walk 50 meters further to the Centro. And if you want to order there with coupons, the internet is a complete disaster there. I (Vodafone) had to go to the door to shop for every coupon. Incomprehensible...

I personally enjoy this restaurant. They are friendly, fast, and affordable. The service is good. They speak English, German, and Italian. Congratulations! When I return, I'll reserve my order for a month. I order daily.

I think it's a real cheek. I ordered food through Lieferando around 12:50 a.m., and the order was confirmed by the restaurant. I paid via PayPal. It's now 2:13 a.m., and the food still hasn't arrived, and no one is answering the phone. I've called 10 times now, and no one has answered. And now Lieferando says the order was supposedly delivered at 1:43 a.m.
