McDonald's in Ludwigshafen am Rhein

Today I had a very disappointing experience at this McDonald's. I was there with my two young children and wanted to buy a single McSundae to share, as a full portion is too much for each child. I politely asked if I could have an extra empty cup so I could share the McSundae. The employee was initially helpful, but the manager immediately intervened and flatly refused – all because of a single empty cup. I find this very incomprehensible, especially for a company that presents itself as child-friendly. They offer so many things for children, but they skimp on something so small? This was particularly disappointing since I had just placed a large order and am a regular customer. This is not what customer service should be. I will avoid this branch in the future.

When I finally get around to it

McDonald's food is well-known. However, there are significant differences in preparation. This particular branch leaves much to be desired. The branch is far too small, making table service impossible due to insufficient staff. The restaurant, tables, etc., are not cleaned.

The McDonald's in Ludwigshafen-Oggersheim is well-organized and reliable. The staff is friendly and tries hard to work quickly, even when it's busy. The orders were correct, the food freshly prepared, and the dining area clean. It's especially convenient for a quick stop or the drive-thru. I'll definitely be back!

The store was very clean and well-maintained. The service, including the table service, was excellent, and the food arrived hot and complete. This is exactly how I imagine a McDonald's should be – absolutely satisfied!

The food was okay, but my fries never arrived. I had to ask again, and then they gave me the wrong change.

We wanted two coffees. The woman at the coffee counter ignored us and left. When we then ordered from the machine, she came back. The staff seemed unmotivated to work.

An extremely unpleasant drive-thru experience. Despite an empty waiting area, I was told to wait directly in the exit lane – resulting in a barrage of honking and shouting from other customers. Maximum stress, completely unnecessary. I was loud and upset myself – but only because I was forced into an absolutely intolerable situation. After the drive, I realized a wrap was missing, so I drove back and got cold food. Instead of understanding, there was shouting, blame-shifting, and I was told to "get lost and never come back." If waiting areas are being deliberately avoided here to manipulate the timing system, it's entirely at the expense of the customers. I've observed this exact behavior at several locations – but today the situation completely escalated. The artificially created congestion, time pressure, and forced lingering in the lane pose a concrete safety risk. This practice is unacceptable and demonstrates an unacceptable approach by the company towards its customers.

In winter, the workers simply put ice cubes in the drinks; I got sick because of it and couldn't take my exam. Shameful…

When I order a meal at McDonald's, it never fills me up. I always have to order something extra, and then I'm usually out 16-18 euros. I'm not willing to accept that anymore, so I haven't been to McDonald's, KFC, or Burger King for quite some time now, because it's the same story at all the fast-food chains. I'd much rather go to a kebab shop of my choice and buy a big, juicy doner kebab for 8.50 euros or a meat skewer with rice for 11 euros, and I'm completely full, and it's probably healthier too. McDonald's - no thanks!!

We were there for breakfast today. Unfortunately, we received cold food. The McToast was cold. The scrambled eggs in the wrap were cold... I spoke to the staff about it, and the man said, "Oh, it's always cold."

Every time I order, something's missing. Today I didn't get the complete meal I paid for. This isn't just a one-off or two-off thing; it's constant. It's not about the money; it's about how they treat their customers like idiots. When I call, they act like I'm lying. It's the worst McDonald's I've ever experienced.

It's a McDonald's. But it's nearby, the staff is friendly, and they take good care of you, especially if you get a small mistake in your order. It's above average clean for a McDonald's, there's an outdoor seating area, and a small climbing frame with a slide for the kids. My daughter loves going there.

Worst service – Wrong food and zero customer service! I'm really disappointed with this McDonald's. We ordered plant-based nuggets, but got chicken nuggets instead! Luckily, the name was on the packaging—otherwise, we wouldn't have noticed. When I went to the counter and politely pointed it out, the employee simply said, "Yes, those are chicken nuggets." After I showed her the receipt, she simply said, "Oh, okay," and pressed the plant-based nuggets into my hand without comment. No apology, no smile, nothing. This kind of behavior is unprofessional, disrespectful, and disappointing—especially from an international company like McDonald's, which is supposed to stand for service, quality, and customer satisfaction. Mistakes happen, but how they're handled shows the true character of a team. I absolutely do not recommend this branch. They urgently need to improve their employee training, friendliness, and service quality.

I don't recommend fast food chain restaurants. Two stars because the staff there are nice and it looks a lot cleaner lately.

It takes far too long; it used to be quicker. Regardless of whether it was freshly prepared or not.

Unfortunately, I wanted to treat myself to this one, but it was served in a paper cup, which I didn't want. I went to the cashier and asked why it was in a paper cup and not a glass. The employee replied, "They only serve iced coffee in a glass, hey, what nonsense." Employees are louder than customers.

Better and cleaner than any other McDonald's nearby.

I wanted to get a coffee at this McDonald's branch and had to wait forever for it to be delivered. There were two people in front of me, and they had already been waiting for their orders for over 35 minutes. This branch is a complete disaster. Okay, the manager told me they were understaffed, but there were only three customers in the store, so you can't really call it overcrowding. Even purely visually, the Börner didn't look good. I wouldn't recommend it.

People didn't specify anywhere that the figures from the Minecraft menu were sold out and then still let me order the €13 menu and didn't want to give me anything and refused! This is outrageous in the world!!! If there were at least somewhere that they were sold out, I would have preferred to have bought something else on the menu... and then I was still bitching about the service. I'm not going there anymore.

If you order your food after 10 minutes it comes but sometimes things are missing. I was there and for me two things were missing but otherwise everything was good

My son didn't get the Happy Meal toy even though he asked for it twice.

It's a McDonalds, but the employees are mostly friendly and things go pretty quickly. I usually use the drive in, but even so, this branch is designed quite modernly, the only thing that is still terribly bad even in 2025 is the communication at the ordering counter in the drive in, I think the technology is the only thing that hasn't changed since McDonalds was founded and is still reliably bad today. If only the prices remained so constant, I still remember the 1€ for hamburgers, cheeseburgers and chicken burgers, that's it.

You repeatedly can't bring yourself to eat the food you ordered. You also pack double cheeseburgers and then when you get home you realize they are normal cheeseburgers. Complaint? We'd rather not answer the phone. I just don't buy anything from the store anymore.

Out of 6 staff, a maximum of 3 people worked, a cook, a cashier and a cleaning lady. The rest are standing with dissatisfied faces, especially the order pickers. The sloth fits the description. I waited 15 minutes for my standard order, when the restaurant was zero occupied. Take a closer look at the staff!

Abnormally unfriendly employee misunderstood something at Mc Drife, then complained because she had to cancel the order and then paid for it, got the wrong food and didn't get the drink plus dessert despite paying! I will never eat there again

Instead of oats DARK Chocolate we got animal milk. If someone has an allergy to it and it becomes life-threatening, it's not nice. No saucer for café and cappuccino. Considering it's expensive, it's not a good service

A good McDonald's. It is centrally located at the intersection and is easily accessible by car 🚗. You can also park in front of it. Food tastes good, as you would expect from MC Donald. Sometimes a bit "weird" guests, but otherwise everything was good. :)

Fries taste like they've been eaten before... subterranean. The fact that you can sell something like that... DON'T buy fries. Usually very full, unfortunately something from the order is often missing. So it's better to check before you drive home. EXPENSIVE. Ice cream is delicious.

It's a nice, newly built McDonald's, but when I ordered I had to complain three times before I got the right one. Among other things, the machine for mixing drinks was defective. There wasn't much to do at lunchtime. The employees were standing around, but the tablets for the already finished customers were not put away. That ruined the ambience

First the fries were cold. There were new ones without any problems, I have to say really clean, great atmosphere, quiet and cozy, I felt very comfortable, there was something for everyone

As soon as we entered the restaurant, everything was dirty and everything looked like a huge garbage bag had burst. The restaurant wasn't our choice that day either. Tables and teenagers hanging around throwing trash around the place are not what I need when eating.

Today I was in this McDonald's to eat breakfast with my gf what we saw it was horrible the guy in the kitchen who prepared the food without gloves ! he took salat domate etc just with his fingers like he was preparing this for his family, and when we told them why without gloves they said this is normal that's how we do I recommend this McDonald's- 5 stars 🌟. That was disgusting 🫣. So please people look at them how they prepare food before you eating . Kind regards.

It's a spotless place. The crispy chicken burger and double espresso tasted delicious. The staff is very polite.

You actually stand at the McDrive for 10 minutes until you are told that it will take a moment. After that, nothing at all for an eternity.

Average. There are far better McDonslds outlets, but for lack of replacement it's acceptable. Food didn't taste good. It wasn't spoiled, but unfortunately it wasn't far from it. Outrageous! Officially open until 1 a.m. but only the drive in. After they watched us calmly as we ordered and paid at the terminal (11:59 p.m. 2 grams of chai latte and a burger) they suddenly said that there was no more chai and that they were closed have. I recently ordered from McDonald's via their delivery service and unfortunately the experience was extremely disappointing. The food arrived incomplete - several items were simply missing. When I called customer service to report the problem, I was rudely told there was nothing they could do. Instead, I should order again, but pay the minimum order value of €10 + service and delivery costs, just so that they would then deliver the missing food to me. This is completely unacceptable! Instead of correcting the error, I was given an outrageous offer that would have only meant additional hassle and expense for me. This type of customer service is absolutely disappointing and not what you would expect from such a large chain. Customer friendliness and problem-solving skills definitely look different. I will think twice before ordering from here in the future!

All protective measures were adhered to, as only the Mc Drive is open....always a visit... It's been a long time since it was just great (9/2024)

The food isn't bad, the coffee is good, but the beeping noises always make me happy to be able to go out again. I don't envy those who have to work there, I think I would go crazy under the stress. We ordered food or coffee to go.

I was just there and wanted something to eat...then the woman asked me if I had already ordered..I answered no and she directed me to the strange machines that would be easier...I suffer from an anxiety disorder and I'm happy if I can order simple ones at the checkout as always...I left without saying anything...I won't be coming back

Unfortunately there was no ice cream. I don't buy the myth that the ice cream machine is defective. You're just too careful to clean the machine. Next time it will be 5 stars again when I get my beloved soft ice cream.

Fries super hot straight from the deep fryer! That's how it has to be! Fish burger was delicious, unfortunately Cola had no ice. There was no drinks machine.

Unfriendly staff, so you immediately lose your appetite. When I asked whether the item I ordered was actually vegan, I received a shrug of the shoulders and a listless “I have no idea”. The employee then walked away and simply left me with the item - which was NOT vegan, by the way. It turned out that the item wasn't vegan after all when I asked another employee, who was just as unfriendly. They took away the non-vegan item without comment, slapped the vegan one on the counter and that was it. Not even a friendly smile - by the way, that doesn't cost ANYTHING... you could perhaps tell the employees there.

I've ordered takeaway here several times and most of the time the order was incorrect. That's what you should expect when you've paid for it.

Replace the incompetent staff once. Even if there is an older employee behind the counter, work is intentionally slower and more comfortable. The food is then correspondingly cold and inedible. As soon as the employee is no longer there, the open orders can be processed quickly and the food is still warm. The disabled parking space alone is constantly used by delivery cars or employees who want to park there. The parking spaces should be better signposted.
