McDonald's in Krefeld

Food was cold, really rubbish and I didn't get anything to drink, it was abnormally sour!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was at the MC DRIVE...., the person taking the order spoke very, very bad German, communication was hardly possible, counter 2, no customers in front of me, endless waiting time, when I got home I realized that not everything was in the bag and it was wrong was, called, complained, was able to come and pick up my "ordered" things. The manager/shift leader said I was getting things ready, come over, again I had to wait. The young girl who packed my things apologized and offered me a coffee, which I thought was very nice. Basically, the service is terrible, although I would like to point out that the fries and nuggets were warm. Honestly, you can feel sorry for the people who have to work there... And, some time ago, probably six months ago, I picked up a salad right at Diessemer Bruch. The leaves were brown at the edges, totally limp and the rays weren't fresh either. The boss said that couldn't be done, I had just finished making the salads myself... well, I could have picked up a salad, but I decided not to.

just sad... we make people like that rich... it's unbelievable how stupid we are and support something like that...

No fast food! If I have to wait longer when ordering before the goods are handed over than I eat the ordered goods (2x McSmart Menu chicken burgers, 2x mayo with the 2x fries + 2x Fanta without ice cream), it absolutely cannot be fast food. Especially when I have to go to the parking lot when ordering and have to wait there for almost 5 minutes. And then the citizens are almost cold, which makes me a little pissed off. Although we eat them straight away in the parking lot. Sorry for putting it like that. So you should be hot for 2 minutes, or what do you think? Unfortunately I can't say anything about the ambience. I went in there ONCE because I wanted to order something and had to take a number or deal with some computer! But I would have had to stand in a long line for that. SO I DIDN'T WANT TO LOOK AROUND BUT JUST QUICKLY GOT OUT OF THIS MCDONALD'S STORE. AND SINCE THAT DAY I DON'T VISIT A SINGLE BRANCH ANYMORE. A N D: I HAVE ALSO HEARD FROM MANY COLLEAGUES AND AKNOWNS AND WORK COLLEAGUES THAT IT IS LIKE THIS FOR THEM TOO. EVERYONE THINKS LIKE THIS, ONLY MCDONALD'S THINKS DIFFERENTLY. All that's missing is that they put a payment machine there. McDonald's used to be better! January 2025: Nothing has changed.

Purchased through the drive thru. A whole menu was missing. I called and was mocked on the phone. It doesn't work at all!

If you want food brought to your table, it makes sense to have to get what was served at the counter.

Everyone leaves their tray behind, the ceiling is leaking, there is trash everywhere, gristle in the nuggets and stains on the cup. Really bad.

In the middle of the night they restart the devices so you have to wait 15 minutes to order then they talk to you briefly and you suddenly don't get an answer anymore, very unfriendly

What can I say, McDonald's is equally well organized everywhere. That's how it is with this one too. I didn't visit the toilets here. I usually go to McDrive and everything runs smoothly here.

Homeless people beg for money inside the branch, the food is as tasty as a fast food restaurant and the staff does their best.

I liked the old McDonald's snack bar at Bolker Stern better. The delicate interior takes up a lot of space and it is no longer a meeting place like it used to be. I only eat ice cream with caramel there so I can't say anything else about the food. It was clean there.

Beware of rip-offs at the DriveThru! I can really only warn against this branch. I have been disappointed there several times because items were missing from the order. That's annoying enough. Hello, I was there with my daughter, I ordered a happy meal with a salad too but I got a more delicious salad with animals. Please be careful if you go there with children and or if you order a salad 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

Very modern design. But very cramped. Sitting outside is not particularly pleasant, too loud and cramped. Staff but friendly and very hard working. There are some parking spaces available, but they are also very winding with high bumps, which is not nice to drive over. Entrance and exit very confusing. Cyclists move very quickly on the bike path that you have to pass when you go out and in. All in all, it's pretty clean and we'll come back there again.

Modern, clean McDonald's restaurant with friendly employees. The food and ambience are familiar from all branches.

Well, McDonald's isn't what it used to be either. The cash register is now a relic from a bygone era. Ordering is only possible via the screens. Cash payment is actually no longer desired. Straws are no longer given out. Anything but ideal when visiting with children. You'll also look in vain for napkins if there's a spill. And if you talk to someone about a dirty table, you also wait until the final judgment. The toys in the kids menu also no longer deserve the name. It's a real shame how a chain like this can change so much for the worse.

This restaurant is a bit dirty on the floor but not slim for me. There are no towels for the hands in the toilets. I can see that because the hand dryer doesn't clean the whole thing so well. The photo that I linked shows a mc flurry was very tasty. (+ point). The seating is extremely comfortable. Thanks for the great upholstery. Everyone is very nice. The men's toilet seats are dirty. The restaurant itself is very nice to look at both inside and out, the entrance is nice and wide for wheelchair users and you can easily maneuver in front of the entrance. The use of the toilets by customers is a little indecent, which makes it probably difficult to clean the toilet all the time. Soap, water and air dryers are available, unfortunately no paper towels. The staff seem to be very friendly, which puts you in a better mood to eat in the restaurant if you are allowed to come and eat. The food is standard Mc,Donalds, which doesn't give you any special reason to give it five stars, and the second time around it doesn't get any Milkshakes are available, but flurry is available for purchase. So overall 4 stars.

One McDonald's like another. There are days when the burger is quite good and unfortunately there are often days when the burgers are not convincing. Be it burgers that have been sitting for too long or orders that have been forgotten. It's just a snack bar that remains the first port of call when things have to be done quickly or nothing else is open and/or there's nothing nearby.

Update: Really dismantled this branch. Fries not salted, mayo forgotten, burger only moderate. ---------- The food is OK like everywhere else, but the new design of the restaurant is not pleasant. It seems cramped, dark, restless, mc cafe has become very small and I don't like the counter concept either. Overall, every aspect has gotten worse since the renovation except ordering via terminal, which is OK. Of course, the clientele that hangs around there is such that you'd rather not go there.

I spontaneously ordered 10 cheeseburgers from the store. The order went smoothly, quickly and personally. 2 cokes and an apple turnover... Summary: the burgers were super hot, juicy and tasted okay. 2021: There was no service or help here today. Using the app and ordering on the computer together is not my world. The gentleman at the checkout sent me to the "computer" and I was supposed to enter everything under instructions. I tried to make it clear to the gentleman that he would have to help me in the same way the next time I visited... Rude and too lazy to take my order at the checkout. In combination with the app, I only pay in cash! I went back and ate at McDonald's in Willich. Funny... in Willich everything worked great at the checkout... UPDATE 07/2023: Either this review brought something or there is new staff there. At least things are going much better there. KEEP IT UP!!! UPDATE 05/2024: You can see that a lot of things can develop positively! The last few visits were really nice. Really friendly staff, despite many customers everything worked quickly and the smile was free :-) Now I'm happy to give 5 stars!!!

Electronic ordering is very complicated. There are too many tables in a small area. The tables are very dirty, few people work.

In my opinion, this is one of the nicest McDonald's in Germany. I don't know these bamboo room dividers anywhere else. In contrast to many other restaurants, they also have mastered the technology there. The monitor for displaying the finished order is used correctly. The pedestrian traffic light in front of McDonald's takes a long time, but is within the range for the app order. When there is little going on, the staff is really quick. If you order something via the app at the traffic lights, the food is often ready by the time you get to the restaurant.

Why is smoking allowed outside at McDonald's? Children play there and there are also non-smokers.

Customer orientation equals 0! Ordered an Espresso Macchiato Grande and got a double espresso with a dab of milk foam on top. Smiling at the counter... "sorry, the milk is missing." Answer: It's always served like this, I made it myself! Well, it wasn't the first time I ordered it and it was as it should be, obviously with a dash of milk in it! He felt completely under attack of his abilities... after 2 minutes of dabbing or shooting, I asked in annoyance if I was getting my milk now!? Answer: Yes, of course, it's not about the milk, but please order it correctly next time! 😃 So if that's not polite and nice, you're welcome to come back 👌

Guys, 24 hours means you get something 24 hours a day. It doesn't say that the lobby is open 24 hours a day. The lobby also has to be wiped down, etc. And there are PEOPLE working there. Look in the bag for 30 seconds and see if anything is missing. Always respectful!
