McDonald's in Krefeld

I was just at the drive-thru and ordered two McFlurrys. I received a combo McFlurry, so I drove off, looked in the cup, and noticed that there was no more than a spoonful of chocolate sauce in the large McFlurry. I just got off the phone with McDonald's, and they tried to convince me it was normal. I was a loyal McDonald's customer, and they definitely chased me away today. I've ordered a McFlurry at least 50 times this year alone, and they've never been as stingy with the sauce as they were today. If I knew how to add a photo, I'd love to add one here.

The food is okay for McD. However, the equipment is often broken (milkshakes, ordering terminals), and waiting times are long.

I actually just want ice cubes, and I'm happy to pay for a drink. This isn't a problem here, although it's always a problem in some stores. ...

The food was reasonably okay. However, some mistake was made, and I received the wrong meal. The service was very rude and disrespectful. I ended up having to eat something else I ordered, even though I asked several times for a refund. Overall, I would never eat there again.

I've been going to this branch for months. They keep saying they don't have any shakes or anything like that because the machine is broken. They don't give me any compensation. By now, I should be getting a one-month discount for a family of four. It's unacceptable that a machine like that doesn't work for months. Especially in the summer. It's no wonder you end up going to Burger King. They're so much better at everything anyway.

I wanted to get ice cream at 1:15 a.m., but it was already closed, even though it wasn't supposed to close until 2 p.m. August 20, 2025

I go there every day to get coffee, there's a lack of everything, especially when listening to MCDRIVE!!!!

The width of the parking bays doesn't meet German industrial standards, so it loses a point for the ambience.

Staff a bit moody and unhelpful. Mcydrive's speaker barely thought about it, as he spoke incredibly fast and incomprehensibly. A shame.

Fries were unsalted for the third time in a row. Ordered a burger with extras. There was a note on it, but the extras weren't included - simply substituted a different burger (ordered McCrispy + bacon + onions + cheese sauce, got McCrispy cheese bacon). Extras are often not included, even though you pay the extra... why is it offered if you don't stick to it anyway? Neither the store nor the drive-thru were that busy; there was even a crew trainer there, but they still couldn't manage it. The only positive thing was that the order was ready really quickly, which is logical if you don't consider the extras (it tasted good, too) 😂

I can't say anything against the food. It's always been fine so far, but it's unacceptable that the toy is missing from the Happy Meal. No matter what, and this is the second time this has happened. Two children are sad at home because I didn't check, which is definitely what you should be doing.

The food is cold, who knows how long it has been there for.. everything beeps and no one knows what to do.. apart from that it wasn't clean there and the cappuccinos with oat milk that were ordered were simply given out with normal cow's milk.. all in all, the worst store so far.

Absolute disaster with app ordering. The order from the app was not received in their system, apparently because there was no money from PayPal. However, I was able to prove that everything was paid for with PayPal confirmation and email from McDonald's plus some code for Minecraft. The solution suggested by the branch manager was to simply pay the whole thing in cash again so that I could get the money back from PayPal. I waited 20 minutes and tried for 15 minutes to explain to the lady the goodwill and approach of a franchise with double-digit million sales and what I would have done in her situation. Such a drama, where the customer is OBVIOUSLY in the right to put up with it and refuse to simply solve the problem when the store is full with customers waiting in line, is completely incomprehensible to me. There's nothing you can do and I can't expect someone to just "give" me something and if in doubt I can't get 12.99 (!!!) from PayPal, that can't be the solution I offered the lady several times to please resolve this and avoid the complaint. Instead I'm sitting here writing this. Unbelievable. I will never go here again in my life.

I had dinner there with my family on Saturday April 19, 2025. About 3 hours after visiting the restaurant I started having the worst diarrhea. Today April 21st the emergency doctor came to see me. Nothing remains in me, neither rusks nor tea nor water. Will never set foot in this store again. I would love to sue them for assault!!!! Unfortunately the games table didn't work but the operation was top notch, a straight 10. As usual, the food was more cool than warm, but my granddaughter liked it!

We ordered Happymeal for our little son. But the toy wasn't in the package. We came back here the next day and showed the receipt but unfortunately we didn't get the toy. I was there on the evening of March 8th and bought a happy meal for my son, but they forgot the toy, so we went there the next day with a receipt, but proof doesn't work as well? We didn't check it directly because I never had any problems with it. But this old boss took no responsibility, no apology, nothing, absolutely rude and greedy just for a toy, my son cried afterwards because he didn't get his toy after all. I definitely won't go there anymore. I will definitely contact Mcdonalds.

A relatively clean restaurant, the only place you don't necessarily want or want to go is in the toilets. People please please please, especially in the toilets in a restaurant you should pay attention to cleanliness and hygiene.🤢The staff tries hard, but that's all you can get coffee here without a saucer and in a cup only upon request. Today we had a chicken nugget in the plant nuggets. After we complained we were told “it could happen that a chicken nugget gets in the way”. Something like that shouldn't happen!!!

I've often picked up something at the counter there. And fall into it every time. Once there were twice as many burgers in there, not bad if they were all still warm. Instead of giving me my burgers, they accepted a new order, the colleague already had everything in the bag and yes, it was a long order. And again everything was cold when we ate and the way home was less than 5 minutes. The nuggets are super hot but the burgers, nooo much money for that.

Always forgetting something when ordering. It is rare that an order is complete.

As always, eat at McDonald's. But just cold. The staff there are just rude and unfriendly. Floor very dirty and sticky. I don't want to say anything to toilet. Every corner at the rest area is better maintained.

After 23 minutes in the drive line, we were still asked to drive up and wait because our apple turnover wasn't ready. When I wanted my money back they offered me the chocolate bag. Which I refused and wanted my money back again. Suddenly no more German. The next colleague with bad German said there is no money back and we should wait to drive up. The rude branch manager then came and told us he had heard our complaint. Cares. Which he doesn't do anyway. End of song there was neither money back nor the apple bag. Extremely customer friendly. I have never experienced such behavior and poorly trained staff in other branches as there.

It can't be that they only say at the drive counter that card payment is not possible again and that you don't even have the option to get out of line. In 2024 minutes I couldn't pay by card 5 times... that can't be right...

Very nice restaurant. The food is typical McDonald's but the service is very cold and distant. During our visit, the tray was simply placed in front of us without a hello or general eye contact. When ordering, breaks were distributed among the employees and there, too, eye contact was denied and there was conversation among the employees. I like to stop there for a quick visit for a small snack, but with the family I tend to stick to the drive-in or to go.

I picked up a few things today from McDonalds on Kleineweferstrasse. With the M-Burger you could only guess that there was sauce on the top. But the best thing was the double cheeseburger: it was packed up like that, unbelievable: anyone who packs something like that in the kitchen and then gives it out to the service should really think about their job. Absolute disaster! Train your employees. Fries were cold, burgers were placed upright in the transport door, and the food at home was inedible. If I had seen this before, I wouldn't have just driven. If it has to be McDonald's, leave your money in another one because they don't deserve it.

Good place to take a rest together with family and friends

Better McDonald's within a 10000km radius, super neat and clean. The food comes very quickly and is always hot. If you come to Krefeld, you can't miss this restaurant!

Unfortunately not very clean (dirty, greasy tables, leftover food on the floor and dirty toilets that smell strongly of urine). There is also a younger, totally inauthentically friendly lady who underlines her importance by asking customers to hold the payment receipt directly under her nose when picking up their food. That's fine, but the way in which this is done should be carefully reconsidered. I just found it glaring, annoying and unnecessary - this lady would be better suited to being a hygiene officer... There are many McDonalds, this one is one of the good ones. Clean ambience, lots of indoor and outdoor seating, there's always an assistant waving a broom or cleaning cloth around, the waiting time is actually always very short. Unfortunately, on our last visit, a new service was introduced, which was very inconvenient at peak times, as there were longer waiting times due to additional complaints (there was usually always an item missing), the person who was supposed to train the new staff did new service, with their harsh sayings, only became more nervous, which also had an impact on the customers. Despite everything, this McDonald is recommended.

The staff is ok so far. Unfortunately, the tables here are never clean. This runs through the restaurant. Remains of food and napkins fly around on the floor. I wonder why they don't clean here. I have zero sympathy for the visitors who behave completely wrongly and leave everything behind and can't put their trays away, but it should still be in the interest of the employees to pay attention to cleanliness here. Especially at critical times like the coronavirus.

The restaurant is run by pensioners and the rest of the staff is completely confused, no one knows what to do. The food gets worse every time and is always cold. The tables are dirty and no one cleans them, so my wife and I did that ourselves.

The leadership is very unsympathetic and trumpets their draconian ways. Waiting times tend to be longer than usual.

The staff at the McDonald's are so unbelievably unfriendly and incompetent. I was there and ordered at the machine and then went to the checkout to pay. After 45 minutes!!! I still couldn't pay and the people have already left. When I asked when we could pay and that we had already been waiting 45 minutes+, I was told to wait and be quiet and there were 20 orders all the time. Logical if you only use card payers and drive in. Never again. I don't have to put up with something so outrageous in an MC.
