The location can be closed; completely overwhelmed staff and waiting almost 1.5 hours for a simple order (cheeseburger, wrap, coffee and water) in an almost empty restaurant has nothing to do with fast food.

I've been waiting for 45 minutes for a breakfast wrap, a roll, a coffee, and a tea. I've never waited this long for a McDonald's order in my life. Judging by the reviews, this doesn't seem to be an uncommon occurrence. Why not just hire more people if the demand is there? Or at least put up a sign warning you'll be waiting over 30 minutes for orders. Nobody expects that in a fast-food restaurant.

Very disappointing. 45-minute wait in a nearly empty store. When I spoke to the staff about it, they said they should complain to management. He'd been working there for five years and, in his own words, it was "sometimes good, but mostly a disaster." 1 star because the food was as expected. But it has nothing to do with fast food.

Actually, 0 stars. Definitely misses the mark on fast food. At 10:34, I still haven't paid for my food. That's normal for a Sunday. The place is almost empty, and we wait over an hour.

Food ordered, restaurant empty, order time 10:34, current review time 11:31, and still no food. You could complain to the manager, nothing would change. He's worked here for five years and it's always been this way. The customers don't give a damn here; the employees move in slow motion and radiate a sense of boredom. Maybe they should pay half the wages for half the work. This is truly the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. It has nothing to do with a fast-food restaurant. McDonald's has real savings potential here; they could close this branch.

Totally unfriendly service, lacking motivation and enthusiasm. Obviously someone who had a say. This behavior was quite bitter. I wanted to order at the counter, and the guy had just switched cash registers. He yelled to the back: "Is someone coming to checkout?" But no one came, not even after I called twice. Then he finally settled for a simple: "What do you want?" I then ordered a MC Rib with a little less sauce. He immediately started shouting: "That's not possible, and they're already overcooked." He ignored my explanation that I'd ordered it several times before. I turned around and walked a few meters further to Burger King.

On August 11, 2025, at approximately 6:30 p.m. My mother and I wanted to order something at the drive-thru. We simply asked the woman at the drive-thru if we could pay by card and wanted to order. She then said "Wait a minute" and moved the customer behind us to the other counter, making us wait for approximately another 10 minutes. When we asked what that was all about, the woman reacted loudly and disrespectfully, yelling at us through the McDonald's system and refusing to take our order. My mother pulled up and still wanted to order, whereupon the woman slammed her window and gave us a disrespectful hand gesture to leave. (It was the woman with the blue t-shirt, short hair, and dark skin) We celebrated birthdays at this McDonald's for years and often met up with friends or grabbed something from time to time since we used to live next door. But the staff isn't what it used to be. It's a shame that we'll be avoiding this branch in the future. I work in the restaurant service industry myself and know that it can get stressful from time to time. But I've never experienced such utterly disrespectful behavior. Maybe we'll work on respect in the future. And if you don't feel like your job, just quit ;)

I would recommend everyone not to buy the Mac Flury here, as there is no difference (same quantity) between the Mac Sounday and the Flury. See the attached photos.

The food was great. What's really unacceptable are those automatic doors that keep opening. It's freezing cold in the store at times. In winter, it must be hell.

We were there today on Sunday (2 adults, 2 children). The McDonald's was at most half full, but it still took 30 minutes (!) from ordering to the food arriving. I was about to ask if they served fast food because it didn't seem fast at all; quite the opposite was true! I have absolutely no idea why it took so long to prepare 2 cheeseburgers, 2 chicken burgers, 2 fries, 20 nuggets, and 2 drinks. We weren't the only customers who asked, irritated, whether their food had been forgotten or when it would finally be ready. The floor was sticky and disgusting almost everywhere. When we pointed this out to an on-site employee, the employee simply replied that there wasn't enough time for it, and that the employees would "clean it up when they get around to it and decide for themselves." Then perhaps the franchisee should hire more staff or better ones, because the current ones were obviously overwhelmed, and I can't understand why. When the food finally arrived, it was half cold, tasteless, overpriced, and after an hour at the most, I was hungry again – as if I'd just been eating air. Actually, the only things that make McD's stand out compared to a local burger joint are the speed, the opening hours, and the large network of branches. Speed was definitely not present here.

It's nice that the shop is open 24/7, which is great for grabbing something to eat after a night shift in Hamburg. Waiting times at 5 a.m. are usually around 3-7 minutes, as the food is freshly prepared. You can't really complain.

The burgers were prepared without gloves, so disgusting and revolting how he touched everything and then prepared the buns and salad with his hands WITHOUT GLOVES. The staff could barely speak German and the floor was worse than a car repair shop!!! The wait for two cheeseburgers was over 20 minutes!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!

We ordered through Wolt. We paid €40, and the food arrived 30 minutes later than stated. Half of it was missing, and the food was ice cold. The cheese on the burgers was like a sheet of Plexiglas... after about 20 attempts to reach someone, no one answered the phone. But the advantage was that you couldn't burn your mouth because it was ice cold 🙄

A perfect visit in a long time. Very friendly service and cashier at the drive-thru. The fish burger tasted really good and was well-made, too. They're usually made crooked and crooked, but this time, nothing to complain about. Thanks, keep it up.

We ordered a McSmart meal and had to wait almost 20 minutes. You can look into the kitchen and watch the kitchen assistant preparing the burgers wipe off the sweat before continuing to prepare the burgers without wearing gloves. The fries were practically cold, and the floor of the restaurant was perfect for ice skating, even without skates. Simply disgusting. Never again.

The staff is very friendly and made an effort, but it would be nice if they were given some instruction on how to prepare coffee drinks. I got a cold coffee with milk instead of an iced caramel macchiato. It's a shame for almost €5.

Dear vegans and vegetarians, dear Mc's team, I ordered a Mc's plant-based patty, which unfortunately did NOT come with a plant-based patty, but with a beef patty! I didn't notice it in time... only after I took one bite!! On the other hand, I can be proud of myself for being able to notice the difference after the first bite! I ask the team to pay more attention to this! And a plea to meat-free customers: be attentive and pay attention to the appearance of the patties! I received a new Big Mac creation today. The product developers at McDonald's always have extraordinary ideas and always bring a smile to your face when you open the package. I prefer the regular Big Mac, though! Still, 5* for having the courage to try something new!

The food was a disaster. A drink wasn't delivered, a burger was missing the second half of the bun and the salad. The food looked like it had been dug out of the trash. Truly bad, and they turned a blind eye to it.

Everything was remodeled, but unfortunately, everything changed afterward. It took a while, the people were rude, and the kitchen seemed unhygienic (at least, what you can see is the burger man scratching his butt and then the burger is brought out). I don't like going here. It's packed with teenagers on weekend evenings...

It's just McDonald's, which is what you'd expect. It's okay for a quick snack.

Easily accessible from the road by car. Ample parking is available. The side orientation makes entering and exiting the parking space easier.

I went to the McDonald's on Eifelstrasse with a few friends – and honestly, it was an absolute disaster. We waited over 45 minutes for our order. And it wasn't a complicated meal, just a few burgers and a coffee. That's completely unacceptable for a fast-food restaurant. The branch wasn't even particularly busy, but the staff seemed completely overwhelmed and disorganized. No overview, no apology, nothing. There was also no information or update as to why it was taking so long. An experience like that is really no fun – and it certainly doesn't leave you hungry for another visit.

Food is actually always good but the gentleman at the drive thru was so hostile to women and even said "yes, let the gentleman speak" when I was in the middle of explaining because he made a mistake with the order I was completely speechless

We had to wait over an hour for our food. The staff were completely disorganized and overwhelmed... Unfortunately, this wasn't our first experience with waiting. It's unacceptable for a fast-food restaurant.

I was just about to get something from the McDonald's Drive-In, but a parked car was blocking the entrance. You should always make sure the drive-in remains clear. After honking several times, I turned around and headed to another McDonald's. That's just a disgrace.

Central, open all day, the only drawback is that it is quite loud and often overcrowded!

Worst McDonald's I've ever been to in my life. I waited forever for the food, and then they forgot half of it. The fries were cold, the curly fries weren't cooked through, and they were soggy and cold. I wouldn't recommend them!!!!!!!!!

The McFlurry was barely half full. When we asked, we were told 150g was normal – compared to other stores, this seemed significantly less. Unfortunately, the shift manager was unfriendly. We will avoid this store in the future.

By far the worst McDonald's I've ever experienced in my life. Ordered there 4 times, received the wrong or missing products 4 times, and some of the food was completely cold. Fries were soft, etc. When I call them, they refer me to UberEats customer service, in a very unfriendly manner. The bags are always sealed, which means the fault lies with the employees there and not the delivery people. Eating there is probably okay, but ordering there... I won't make that mistake again and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Of all the McDonald's in Hamburg, this one always has hot nuggets and generally has a better feel than others. Sometimes the stacks are a bit too hectic, or the drive-thru is poorly coordinated. My favorite McDonald's in Hamburg

I ate at McDonald's on Eiffestraße in Hamburg around lunchtime today and had an overall positive experience. The restaurant was clean, ordering was quick, and the food was fresh and hot. I especially want to emphasize the friendliness of the employees – despite the busy schedule, the team was very attentive and well-organized. You can tell the motivation here. Thank you very much, I'll be back!

I haven't been to this branch in a while – and I was pleasantly surprised! Everything looks new and modern, the premises are clean and well-maintained. I particularly appreciate the friendly staff, who were very attentive and helpful. My visit was pleasant, and the food came quickly and freshly. Overall, a significant step forward – I'll be happy to come back!

The waiting time is not known from other branches

Burgers and fries were only lukewarm. All of the tables outside were not clean and had not been wiped down for a long time.

The staff seems completely listless and grumpy. Three guests and everyone has been waiting for their orders for a long time. I won't stop here anymore.

I ordered a Big Tasty Bacon, after about 8 minutes I got everything and noticed the bag smelled of mold... I went to the counter and told them I didn't want to eat it. They then made me new fries but put the same burger in a new bag. After I smelled the bag again everything was ok. However, I smelled mold again and threw the food away... definitely won't eat there again.

My last visits to this branch were rather unpleasant. The employee was very overwhelmed, just like today. An employee with curls who packed my order incorrectly for the second time today. Last time I ordered a veggie wrap as a vegetarian and unfortunately had to bite into chicken when I took a bite. That doesn't work at all. And today my order was given to another person, again by the employee mentioned above. And instead of apologizing or accommodating both incidents, you only got annoyed looks. And the waiting times there are no longer reasonable... (for a fast food chain) After all the unpleasant experiences, I won't set foot in this branch again!!!

It tasted great! Nothing comes close to Mcs' fresh and vitamin-rich selection. Friendly, fast service. The new Sunny Tomato sauce with the Curly Fries was particularly excellent. What a real flavor explosion! Always a pleasure. Amen.

It was time to replace my very old bad review with a very good one. We have now had a very good experience there with very good food and very friendly staff! My son picked up a few small things in a backpack on his escooter today. The cheesecake was packed very well and the Oreo cookies and sauce were stored separately so that he could transport the whole thing in his backpack. Big praise for that and thank you very much!

For a McDonald's restaurant it's really good. I've been there several times and the food has always been warm. Not many of the chain's branches can do that.

A typical McDonald's with friendly and quick staff. Food is served quickly and orders can be placed either at the cash register or at the terminal. The cleanliness is good overall, although the toilets could be a little better maintained. Offers and vouchers can be redeemed as usual. Three out of five stars for cleanliness.

Hello, I was there today and the food didn't taste good, I ordered nuggets and ate them and they tasted very much like cardboard and were quite oily and greasy and hard, it's not like it used to be today, I thought the old McDonald's was better, now it's small and cold so I didn't feel very comfortable. It's a shame.

We always get our order quickly via app pre-order. The employees are very friendly.

I just dined here on site. Ordered 2 happy meals. My order number immediately disappeared on the waiting sign and 2 people got their turn before me, the waiting time was a bit annoying but okay. I was able to observe an internal argument between the staff behind the counter (service staff was arguing with kitchen staff). They weren't loud but it looked personal. That's why I had to wait longer for my nuggets. When my order came I was again asked to wait for a small bag of fries as an apology. I also ordered 2x mayo and got 2x ketchup instead. Afterwards a lady from the service came to my table again and gave me another portion of nuggets as an apology. Well... But who's going to eat all that? The quality of the nuggets varied greatly: from cold hard and very dry to greasy hot not quite finished. The quality of the fries was also very mixed: from very salty to slightly mushy and creamy. There were no ice cubes with my lukewarm cola. The newly renovated building appears cool and uninviting inside. The seats are very neutral, the tables are all greasy and dirty even though there was nothing going on there. During the time I ate my food, I didn't see anyone with a rag or dustpan. There was no music, just loud beeping from machines and orders. The playground resembles a concrete desert. The abstract yellow-red art compositions on the wall irritated me. The store invites you to leave.

I ordered via the app and picked up the food at the Drive Inn. At home it was noticed that an entire menu had been forgotten.

It's a McDonald's where the employees have no empathy. A needy gentleman who politely asks for a single cheeseburger when the outside temperature is 2 degrees is banned from the house. The good gentleman then received two cheeseburgers from us, and when we handed them out he was told to leave the store. Since he probably didn't notice/understand it, he sat down to eat. An employee then went to the front of the store to call the police. I can't say how it turned out, I was only present by telephone. Next time I'll drive up in my big car with a few people looking for help, eat fat and then definitely won't go to that McDonald's again.

Newly renovated place with big playground for children, I have only one recommendation for staff (the reason I gave 4 stars) sometimes the burger meat is overcooked and it ruins the taste of the burger, it happened too many times to not point out this.

An above-average store, not a nice atmosphere. Was OK.

Sometimes everything is cold, sometimes only half, almost never everything is warm. After the renovation, inside like a canteen, it looked better before. The terrace turned out beautiful. The waitress doesn't know where the fixed table numbers are and runs across the store calling the number.

First time after renovation, but in my opinion the old renovation was also not bad 😂
