McDonald's in Hamburg

Ordered food, Big Mac missing. Fries cold. They called and weren't helped at all. They told us to cancel and stay hungry, but they didn't offer us anything new. It was just a shame we waited an hour for the delivery.

Worst load ever. Never again! Waited 25 minutes for an MC smart menu. I asked and the branch manager replied: "I can join you in the kitchen if it takes too long."

I ordered food and they didn't want to bring me my food because my note was broken

We waited 40 minutes for our order, in the end we got 1 burger, instead of 1 ice cream and 3 burgers the waiter just shouted

The men's bathroom had no water and the women's bathroom had no hand soap and the children's area has been closed for almost a month

Let's just say there are MANY GOOD MEMORIES of these McDonads (my church was close by) also very tasty burgers with delicious chicken with this sweet chilli REALLY GOOD. Only toilet sometimes smells like a cat is no longer alive but that's normal. FOOD GREAT, Kasserer sometimes tired but that's ok, they NEVER forget anything with my food. KEEP UP MCDONALDS you are a good store

Can you recommend this place I am asked? Unfortunately I had to make this faux pas because my grandchildren wanted to come here. In the next life I'll be going to McDonalds... completely overpriced, the burgers 🍔 are getting smaller and smaller. Annoying, 18 euros for nothing. The worst McDonald's I know and unfortunately the only one near us. Orders in the drive have always been incomplete almost every time. New employees every time, one more overwhelmed than the other! Sometimes they don't speak understandable German, sometimes they can't count, it's so frustrating when you get what you ordered after 30 - 45 minutes at the drive and then find out almost EVERY TIME at home that something is missing! But the hard part is that the employees at the window take a quick look at the order (as if they were really interested in its completeness - that's probably what the training says) and then hand the incorrect order into your hand and suggest to the customer that everything was issued correctly! You are simply a disaster! But the food itself is okay.

Just been on the mc drive at 7:15 p.m. on February 23, 2025. Had a pre-order via the app. 3 ice cream. It was not possible to change the sauce from chocolate to caramel sauce for an mc flurry in the app. So I drive up and ask that I gave her the code, if she can please make a small change to an ice cream, she tells me no, I should have changed it in the app and I tell her it wasn't possible to change it, then she says then you can't change it, it's like that now, I said to her what the problem is that they put caramel instead of chocolate, she got loud and said again that I should have done that in the app, but if it doesn't work how should I change it, so I ask Right after she got loud, I didn't like it at all and especially when it's just changing a sauce that's not the end of the world, then she said she'd cancel the ice cream and make her own again, so what was the problem with her if she could just change it in her system? Customer friendliness and satisfaction are something different for me, I would have been fired straight away during my training if I had treated customers like that!!! And she also says she didn't raise her voice, but hello... and also says I should send a complaint by email that the app isn't working properly. I told her that there would definitely be a complaint about how unfriendly she had become to me. Then at the window she wasn't the one who made me pay, but rather a colleague who sent me ahead. You have to say that maybe you should also think that there are people who don't eat at McDonald's every day or every other day and that you should show understanding, even with Mc Drive, that you don't know the entire menu by heart and you can't say everything straight away because many people get annoyed if they don't enter everything straight away!!!! But I hope to hear from today after this review. It's a woman with round glasses, light brown, long hair and corpulent!!! More respect because the customer is king and if you make an elephant out of a fly then it's not your job for her!

This is the worst McDonald's I have ever known.. It was a little more at 11 p.m., my food was handed to me cold.. when I asked, someone who behaved like a boss... only agro... my wife brought the French fries back and asked for new ones... these were even worse... not recommended...

Hello MC D Steilshoop..... 01/23/25 Coupon redeemed Crispy chicken, fries and 5 nacho cheese snackers to go. I'm at home with a crispy chicken bun with hash browns and a beef patty with honey mustard sauce, so I'm going back there (french fries and nacho cheese snackers will of course be cold). I have a new crispy chicken and fresh ones 🍟 got it, go home is on the crispy chicken mc chicken sauce so go back there (at home 2x 🍟 they get cold) and asked for my money back. So I went to the restaurant 3 times and was tired of the faxes. Today 01/26/25 next attempt and same coupon. Crispy chicken is good this time, but the quality is dry, dry chicken and definitely twice the sauce, just too much. And nacho cheese snackers weren't even there What happened to McDonald's Steilshoop? No longer recommended and when I see the employees take off their cappy then rub it on their head for 5 seconds and then add delicious 🍔, just disgusting.

Long wait and got cold burgers, even burgers fell.

I redeem a coupon at Mac Drive and am asked for cappuccino or coffee. I say cappuccino, then he tells me. We don't have any cappuccino. I just think to myself, why is he asking me whether I want a coffee or a cappuccino, tell me straight away that there is only coffee. Then I just say: Give me a coffee with sweetener, sugar and coffee cream. I get a coffee with nothing, the darkest and bitterest coffee in my life and I was so looking forward to it.

I think it's great that McDonald's in Hamburg is always clean. The employees are nice and deliver reliably. The food always tastes good and comes quickly. Top shop, always a recommendation. You simply feel comfortable here.

S***** shop, I was told in the morning, even though I ordered in the app, that the ice cream machine and milkshake machine had to “heat up” as if an ice cream machine heats up and then doesn’t do that all day long. I didn't get any money back either digitally, via order or in store. Here you just get alienated On the McChicken Classic, a crispy chicken patty with a mustard sauce was extremely disgusting and not what I ordered. In addition, the burgers and fries were shriveled and cold. When I asked, the answer was “it’s already late, that’s just the way it is with us, you can’t offer me a new burger and you can’t change that now”. Then I got a little salty and the young lady ended the conversation with “next time “I spit in her food.” This store is just disgusting and I will not set foot in here again and will tell everyone what happened there today. It can't be that an employee can do whatever he wants there. If possible I wouldn't even give this store 1 star. I will also send a written complaint to McDonalds Germany and the store. I love employees who cough into their palms in front of me and then touch the food. Overall, really ace cast and incomprehensible how food can be prepared so disrespectfully.

There really wasn't much going on, but everything that could have gone wrong still went wrong. First of all, we waited over 15 minutes for an order for 2 people. And then one burger was cold and definitely too “old”. In addition, a portion of fries and both apple turnovers were forgotten! How an employee can check the receipt and the order several times in front of us and still have 3 (!) products missing is inexplicable to me. Really underground!

Myself alongside with my wife visited this restaurant only to be poorly treated by the rude staff who served us and not even served a decently put together burger. We went there as black British foreigners who understood little to no German, and were yelled at when asking where our food was, served cold beverages when they were meant to be hot, a burger that was messy and not put together properly, etc. We have tried to post our review multiple times but it always ends up not going through, likely because the owner on this page keeps on taking it down. Hopefully people are able to see this review and diligently decide on avoiding this particular McDonalds!!

It's McDonald, redesigned with terminals for ordering. Team is nice and quick and helps with terminal ordering. It's clean (perhaps people can clean up themselves) and tidy and there are parking spaces, including on the street, and there is a drive inn.

McDonald's is almost always missing something or you get the completely wrong order 🙄 I also don't think it's okay that customers' orders via Lieferando are labeled with first and last names so that every customer waiting in front of the counter can read the names. Where is data protection!

The worst McDonald’s in Northern Germany Waste of time and pure ignorance I was there during the week and thought it would be quick - how naive of me! Instead, I waited over 35 minutes for an order that was barely more complex than a cheeseburger and fries. The worst thing was the behavior of the employees. They ignored me so consistently that I almost thought I was invisible. It was like they had an internal competition: “Who can ignore the most customers?” I had to say “sorry” ten times before anyone even deigned to pay attention to me. And even then, I was treated to a mood worse than the weather outside. Not a smile, not a word of regret, nothing. It felt like I was begging for a favor when all I wanted was what I ordered (and paid for!). This was by far the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever seen in all of northern Germany. No organization, no friendliness, no quality – nothing! Never again. If you want to ruin your day, then you've come to the right place. If you're in the mood for frustration, you've come to the right place. My advice to everyone else is to keep driving, no matter where, but don't bother with this store.

I'm about to freak out. Priority delivery was 40 minutes late. Driver took over 1 hour for a 20 minute journey?! Placed an order for €50+ (10 burgers and Chicken McNuggets and drinks) and only got 2 cheeseburgers, 1 apple turnover, 1x 20 Chicken McNuggets box (and a sour cream). That's disrespectful. A starter pack was sent to us. What kind of person does such crap? -I will definitely never order here again.- Ps: The apple turnover tasted like poop.

I'm very sad, I'm a real Mc lover but today I was very disappointed with my very valued Mc workers. I ordered a happy meal from the vending machine and said that I wanted a car from Mariokart Deluxe 8 for the toy, but unfortunately I only got a children's book "Pino and Lela on a Big Trip" by Günther Jakobs, even though there were several cardboard boxes right behind it There were lots of Mariokart Deluxe 8 cars at the checkout. The food was, as always, very tasty. The McPlant nuggets were a bit hard, but I've never had a problem with hard things. That's just something you get used to.

It's just McDonalds, unfortunately nothing more. It's often unclean when I go there with the children. I haven't eaten there for a long time. It's also just too expensive and nothing like it used to be. Unfortunately.

We found a cockroach on the upper floor and the tables seem to be wiped very irregularly. This is really not that nice and should be changed... The curly fries were cold, the rest was OK.

I was just there and mistakenly received a Cola Zero instead of a Diet Coke. When I explicitly asked them to please give me a Diet Coke instead, as ordered, I was brazenly lied to by the employee. He claimed that I had received a Diet Coke, even though I could clearly taste the difference and the Coke Zero dispenser was still clearly dripping. It's a shame how ruthlessly your employees lie just to avoid having to do their job. I angrily threw the Coke (Zero!!!) in the trash.

McDonald's like hundreds of others in the republic. Food normal and delivered quickly. What I didn't like so much was the hygiene in the guest area. The tables were not cleaned properly, only the caraway seeds were swept off the table.

I never go to McDonald's, I just stood next to it in a traffic jam. But if you know one...The meat patties are tasteless, and of course the dishes bear little to no resemblance to the pictures...I can hardly describe them as "food". It's just filling material.

Absolutely incompetent employees, been there 3 times now for a McFlurry with double Oreo. The first time the employee put in a good fair amount of Oreo, but on the last two visits the employees pressed the button with their little finger. When asked about this, the employees get cheeky. I would avoid it because a McDonalds a little further away isn't as arrogant in this regard 🤷‍♂️

Unfortunately what I had ordered was not available, alternatively I was offered something with a lower value, after about 8 minutes of ordering and as the only customer I left with 3 other breakfast items and a capu, not again

Our grandchild chose Happy Meal, the toys were missing and the fries were very salty. I had 2 MC Ribs and these were the worst. The sauce and toppings were applied very sparingly. Luckily I was just passing through.

There are actually no surprises here = you know what you are getting = everything is good. BUT on August 28, 24 I was ultimately pleasantly surprised. I ordered three Smurfs via the app (600 points :*( and/but when I picked them up they told me = unfortunately there were no more Smurfs = I was annoyed = points were gone, wipe the Smurfs' nose. I asked how do we finish the story? I was offered two large milkshakes and the offer that I could call and they would try to get Smurfs = said done = now I was able to pick one up. What I now find so great and valuable = the problem was dealt with very well (for me) = thank you very much for that

Modern, clean, service is quick and friendly. I'm actually more of a Burger King fan, but the BK a few meters away is unfortunately no longer usable because it's dirty, unfriendly employees, and incorrect orders. I just have to post an update because I was served so quickly there (6 p.m. on a Sunday), even though everything inside and outside was full and one order after another was processed in a friendly, quick and professional manner. Respect to all employees involved.

The circumstances here are terrible. Eating takes up to 25 minutes because Lieferando orders are brought forward. Customers who want to pay at the checkout can wait 15-20 minutes. Unfriendly employees starting from the boss. The device that shows that the food can be picked up sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. That's why there's shouting in the restaurant, not once or twice, but constantly. Hardly any of the employees here speak German. When there is a demand, everything comes first except the customer. Tissues and trash are flying around outside. The full car parked outside is rarely cleaned. Tables stick together every time you touch them. The playground for the children is cordoned off and a table has been placed in front of one entrance. This one almost fell on a child. If you order at the table and the order is smaller, you will be complained that you could also pick it up. This McDonalds is really a total failure!!!

After a visit to the theater we got something to eat here at 1 o'clock. The restaurant was very clean and the staff polite. The food was warm and the waiting time was perfectly fine. All in all a very good restaurant that is open 24 hours.

A somewhat outdated McDonald's, lots of employees, the order came quickly, the tables were dirty. The burger was dry inside, it was covered with too much lettuce and sauce. The cola didn't have any real taste.

Well, most of the time, promotions like glasses are gone after two days, whereas others take two weeks We've had ice cubes several times even though we canceled our order and the waiting times are at least an hour or more with a regular visit from +2 suppliers I just wanted to get something to eat and the 45 minute project turned into 2½ hours. And I don't think that works at all

The price-performance ratio for deliveries is underground. The products are already more expensive than if they were ordered locally. There is also a service fee, delivery fee and transaction costs. For that much money I only get inferior McDonald's products. One driver told me that tips paid through the app never reach the delivery person. We both made mistakes there. It doesn't happen anymore from my side. Order was given an hour delivery time, arrived after 95 minutes………..

We ordered our food via the app and wanted to pick it up. Here we were guided to the front in the car and then left there for 10 minutes until the food came. This is not fast food, but slow food!!

Absolutely awesome! There is parking! Queues, citizens, cola and fries.. I mean.. Of course it's the same everywhere.. And somehow you don't always feel good afterwards. And a little more expensive compared to good food... But honestly... When it's warm it tastes really great!

A very bad store by McDonald's standards. Staff completely overwhelmed, when you've finished "294" you shouldn't do "2-4-9!" shouting through the store. If only the order had been carried out correctly, but that can probably be forgotten here. Fits the down-rocked ambience, looks like several demolition parties have already been celebrated there. Actually, I could have guessed it when I saw the remains of the bike rack when I arrived. Someone should tell people that a McRib has sauce and what a pickle is.

I just waited for my order from 11:15 p.m. to 11:40 p.m. 4 citizens, 2 fish burgers & 2 mc chicken classic. When I asked for a portion of fries for the long wait, I was told this wasn't possible. If the employee takes a large Coke with them on the way home, that's no problem... I can make fun of myself!

I was here at McDonald's today, what can I say the staff is rude and unable to give out an order correctly. When I asked that the hamburgers were missing, they said I hadn't ordered any. Well, it's just stupid that they were on the invoice. The salesman became increasingly rude and disrespectful.
