Clean, usually short wait times, and the drive-thru staff are friendly and understand special requests right away. The food is what you'd expect from McDonald's.

I really like the McDonald's here because it's simple and easy to navigate, very well automated, and we knew where to order and pick up. Otherwise, the restaurant has adapted to its surroundings. The surrounding area is large and remarkable. Best regards

This branch has unfortunately declined considerably. In the past, you would have expected the food to be fresh, the order to be correct, and the staff to be friendly, but that's unfortunately no longer the case. We ordered food to be delivered to our table, which didn't happen, and only after I inquired did it turn out that the food was practically cold on the counter. When I got to my seat, I regretfully realized that the order wasn't correct, even though it was written down on the receipt that came with the tray.

I don't know why the employees are in such a bad mood. The one with the short hair needs a vacation or some anger management training. General training on how to treat customers in a friendly and respectful manner would be helpful.

Worst delivery service. Half the order was missing again, and when you call, you're bluntly referred to Lieferando, even though everything is listed on the receipt. Burgers worth €20 are simply forgotten. Instead of sending a driver with the missing burgers because you paid for everything via PayPal, you only get rude answers on the phone. My friends and I were there on a Saturday night. We had to go through the drive-thru, which wasn't a big deal. We were called to the second window and went there. The man took our order first, and my colleague got his drink, and we waited. Then another employee came over and said, "Go to the first window like everyone else and get in line!" As if one of us had jumped the line. The six of us then waited another 30 minutes to order, and another 20 minutes after ordering. Some of the orders were incorrect. Well, it's hard to find qualified staff!

We ordered on-site and noticed at home that both menu items were missing fries and the wrong sauce was used for the nuggets. It was packed and busy, and the staff looked annoyed. I should have checked to see if everything was in the menu. Yes, but you rely on your order. It's annoying when you pay for everything and the order isn't always complete. Even when we order through Lieferando, something is often missing...

It's really chilled at this McKinney. I always enjoy coming back and am rarely disappointed. There are occasional mistakes, but they're quickly corrected. It can get crowded at times, but the upstairs area is very pleasant. You can't complain about the food, and the ice cream machine pretty much always works. The opening hours are the best thing in my opinion; no matter when or where, you can always come and fill your belly. I would recommend it to anyone.

"Open 24 hours" is also a bad joke. They do everything here whenever and however they want.

Never experienced such incompetent shift managers as in this McKinsey & Company. The employees are all listless; every order is packed incorrectly. You have to go to the cash register every time because it's apparently too difficult for the employees to read. The manager should be pretty ashamed of running such a filthy place. All in all, the worst McKinsey & Company in all of Hamburg, by far. Oh yeah, I know from a former employee that rats and vermin are rampant there, and in the last internal business inspection, they only passed one point. Someone should get the health department on your back. I'll never, ever come back to this disgusting place.

More like zero stars. Orders are repeatedly left unwrapped... whether for delivery or to take out from the store. Previously, it was usually the side dish or sauce that was missing. This time, both burgers we ordered were even missing. You get used to actively checking everything when ordering in person (no matter if it takes longer for others or the employee is extremely stressed). It's just annoying when someone doesn't know the store and brings something from there, not knowing that orders are VERY OFTEN incorrect there, and in the worst case, some items aren't even wrapped at all. It's a shame this problem just won't be fixed. If it's happened to me a few times, even though I don't eat or order there very often, I'd really like to know the error rate.

We were here with the kids. The food was standard. The staff spoke English and were very friendly, except for one lady. I found her chewing gum with her mouth open and blowing bubbles very unpleasant and disgusting. You don't do that when you're working with customers.

This branch was very clean. Helpful and friendly employees. We sat outside. The Chicken McNuggets, cheeseburger, and fries were good. McDonald's is easily accessible despite the U5 subway construction. I would eat here again.

The branch on Steilhooper Allee does not have its own delivery service. The companies Lieferando and Über eats deliver for this branch. This means that if at all you should blame the two delivery services if the food arrives cold or is sometimes incomplete. Yes, mistakes certainly happen and are also human. And if you pick something up directly from the branch as a KD, why don't you check the order directly?

Unfortunately I only noticed it when I got home. On the phone, 1 BigMac menu was offered as compensation for the next visit... as I said, with 4 incorrect orders! From the background you could only hear 'yes, nuggets are still here'. And, although MCD has a delivery service, they are unable to send the missing items afterwards. Conclusion, this store will never see me again and I am very happy to share my experience.

The worst McDonald's I know and unfortunately the only one near us. Orders in the drive have always been incomplete almost every time. New employees every time, one more overwhelmed than the other! Sometimes they don't speak understandable German, sometimes they can't count, it's so frustrating when you get what you ordered after 30 - 45 minutes at the drive and then find out almost EVERY TIME at home that something is missing! But the hard part is that the employees at the window take a quick look at the order (as if they were really interested in its completeness - that's probably what the training says) and then hand the incorrect order into your hand and suggest to the customer that everything was issued correctly! You are simply a disaster! But the food itself is okay.

Just been on the mc drive at 7:15 p.m. on February 23, 2025. Had a pre-order via the app. 3 ice cream. It was not possible to change the sauce from chocolate to caramel sauce for an mc flurry in the app. So I drive up and ask that I gave her the code, if she can please make a small change to an ice cream, she tells me no, I should have changed it in the app and I tell her it wasn't possible to change it, then she says then you can't change it, it's like that now, I said to her what the problem is that they put caramel instead of chocolate, she got loud and said again that I should have done that in the app, but if it doesn't work how should I change it, so I ask Right after she got loud, I didn't like it at all and especially when it's just changing a sauce that's not the end of the world, then she said she'd cancel the ice cream and make her own again, so what was the problem with her if she could just change it in her system? Customer friendliness and satisfaction are something different for me, I would have been fired straight away during my training if I had treated customers like that!!! And she also says she didn't raise her voice, but hello... and also says I should send a complaint by email that the app isn't working properly. I told her that there would definitely be a complaint about how unfriendly she had become to me. Then at the window she wasn't the one who made me pay, but rather a colleague who sent me ahead. Hello MC D Steilshoop..... 01/23/25 Coupon redeemed Crispy chicken, fries and 5 nacho cheese snackers to go. I'm at home with a crispy chicken bun with hash browns and a beef patty with honey mustard sauce, so I'm going back there (french fries and nacho cheese snackers will of course be cold). I have a new crispy chicken and fresh ones 🍟 got it, go home is on the crispy chicken mc chicken sauce so go back there (at home 2x 🍟 they get cold) and asked for my money back. So I went to the restaurant 3 times and was tired of the faxes. Today 01/26/25 next attempt and same coupon. Crispy chicken is good this time, but the quality is dry, dry chicken and definitely twice the sauce, just too much. And nacho cheese snackers weren't even there What happened to McDonald's Steilshoop? No longer recommended and when I see the employees take off their cappy then rub it on their head for 5 seconds and then add delicious 🍔, just disgusting.

I redeem a coupon at Mac Drive and am asked for cappuccino or coffee. I say cappuccino, then he tells me. We don't have any cappuccino. I think it's great that McDonald's in Hamburg is always clean. The employees are nice and deliver reliably. The food always tastes good and comes quickly. Top shop, always a recommendation. You simply feel comfortable here.

S***** shop, I was told in the morning, even though I ordered in the app, that the ice cream machine and milkshake machine had to “heat up” as if an ice cream machine heats up and then doesn’t do that all day long. I didn't get any money back either digitally, via order or in store. Here you just get alienated On the McChicken Classic, a crispy chicken patty with a mustard sauce was extremely disgusting and not what I ordered. There really wasn't much going on, but everything that could have gone wrong still went wrong. First of all, we waited over 15 minutes for an order for 2 people. And then one burger was cold and definitely too “old”. In addition, a portion of fries and both apple turnovers were forgotten! How an employee can check the receipt and the order several times in front of us and still have 3 (!) products missing is inexplicable to me. Really underground!

Myself alongside with my wife visited this restaurant only to be poorly treated by the rude staff who served us and not even served a decently put together burger. We went there as black British foreigners who understood little to no German, and were yelled at when asking where our food was, served cold beverages when they were meant to be hot, a burger that was messy and not put together properly, etc. We have tried to post our review multiple times but it always ends up not going through, likely because the owner on this page keeps on taking it down. Hopefully people are able to see this review and diligently decide on avoiding this particular McDonalds!!

It's McDonald, redesigned with terminals for ordering. Team is nice and quick and helps with terminal ordering. It's clean (perhaps people can clean up themselves) and tidy and there are parking spaces, including on the street, and there is a drive inn.

McDonald's is almost always missing something or you get the completely wrong order 🙄 I also don't think it's okay that customers' orders via Lieferando are labeled with first and last names so that every customer waiting in front of the counter can read the names. Where is data protection!

The worst McDonald’s in Northern Germany Waste of time and pure ignorance I was there during the week and thought it would be quick - how naive of me! Instead, I waited over 35 minutes for an order that was barely more complex than a cheeseburger and fries. The worst thing was the behavior of the employees. They ignored me so consistently that I almost thought I was invisible. It was like they had an internal competition: “Who can ignore the most customers?” I had to say “sorry” ten times before anyone even deigned to pay attention to me. And even then, I was treated to a mood worse than the weather outside. Not a smile, not a word of regret, nothing. It felt like I was begging for a favor when all I wanted was what I ordered (and paid for!). This was by far the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever seen in all of northern Germany. No organization, no friendliness, no quality – nothing! Never again. If you want to ruin your day, then you've come to the right place. If you're in the mood for frustration, you've come to the right place. My advice to everyone else is to keep driving, no matter where, but don't bother with this store.

I'm about to freak out. Priority delivery was 40 minutes late. Driver took over 1 hour for a 20 minute journey?! Placed an order for €50+ (10 burgers and Chicken McNuggets and drinks) and only got 2 cheeseburgers, 1 apple turnover, 1x 20 Chicken McNuggets box (and a sour cream). That's disrespectful. A starter pack was sent to us. What kind of person does such crap? -I will definitely never order here again.- Ps: The apple turnover tasted like poop.

Everything okay, friendly staff and clean shop

I'm very sad, I'm a real Mc lover but today I was very disappointed with my very valued Mc workers. I ordered a happy meal from the vending machine and said that I wanted a car from Mariokart Deluxe 8 for the toy, but unfortunately I only got a children's book "Pino and Lela on a Big Trip" by Günther Jakobs, even though there were several cardboard boxes right behind it There were lots of Mariokart Deluxe 8 cars at the checkout. The food was, as always, very tasty. The McPlant nuggets were a bit hard, but I've never had a problem with hard things. That's just something you get used to.

It's just McDonalds, unfortunately nothing more. It's often unclean when I go there with the children. I haven't eaten there for a long time. It's also just too expensive and nothing like it used to be. Unfortunately.
