McDonald's in Hamburg

Some of the food is not fresh. Staff completely overwhelmed. Indian teenagers. Toilets full of urine, stairs full of vomit

This place is not recommended my food was cold when it was brought to the table and the sauce was totally sour.

04/06/25 12:30 a.m. . Get cold fries. Very unfortunate. Unfortunately, I only noticed it on the street, so it can't be returned. That doesn't work at all.

If you want to have a quick snack, you should go to another branch or consider an alternative. I had to wait more than 25 minutes for 3 chicken burgers. The staff seemed extremely overwhelmed and very prone to errors. I won't be coming back here any time soon.

I had to wait in line at Mac Drive from 7:51 p.m. to 8:43 p.m. until about five cars were served. In the end I discovered that the employees inside couldn't even speak German. Zero stars

Either something is missing or it is not the right size. Instead of a large latte macchiato, I received a small cappuccino which was not replaced even after discussion. Reason: “Everything tastes the same”. The employees there are stupid.

Only been there once, but I've never seen so many people waiting for their food. The staff was completely overwhelmed and was shouted at from all sides because they had already waited 30 minutes for food. For a fast food restaurant there was no sign of 'almost' at all.

You can close the store straight away, the new opening on April 5th will be a total failure, that's inevitable. Staff with language barriers and a lack of coordination lead to waiting times of 17 minutes and without anything being ordered. I wanted to pay on site and they constantly walked past me and only preferred the drive-in and orders that were paid directly at the terminal. I avoid the branch for the world and please don't ask me to contact you somewhere so that someone can give me a statement. Just stand relaxed in the store and observe what is not going on there... The cleanliness at the tables and behind the counter is poor, the service staff are at their limit and the processes are absolutely not coordinated. I left the store after almost 20 minutes without being spoken to or anything else. The customers behind me with the same problems are also out...

Restrooms are very dirty and smelly. Improvements could help! Otherwise, the staff was friendly and the food was delicious.

So I thought it was good and quick too. The staff was also nice and the facility is nice and clean. Yes, the food could have been warmer. But I've never had really warm food in any branch in Germany. So I don't really understand the negative posts here.

Fries not even lukewarm! Soft almost cold. Complained I asked for fresh hot fries. Nobody understood me. Then I was given new fries... But only lukewarm. Burger (Royal TS) went like this. Only a short waiting time, but cold fries are not an option!

40min waiting time for 1 burger and nuggets to take away. None of the ads work. The meal vouchers are completely disorganized on the work surface. Staff completely overwhelmed, no German-speaking service who can tell you after asking three times how long you still have to wait or whether the food will even be made. At least the food was warm when I finally got it. McDonalds has never been good, but what has become of the company or any fast food chain is just sad. It will be the last time I grab something to eat there “quickly”.

Order via app, pick up drive in. Hardly understand German. 2 burgers were missing. Luckily, I got into the habit of checking the order on the spot. Of course I got the missing burgers. Food of the usual quality and delicious.

Since the renovation, the store needs at least 20-30 minutes for “fast food” ordered today at 1:09 a.m. and the food at 1:47 a.m. At some point the manager noticed that we were sitting for ages and came up and down. So absolutely underground experience. I don't know what you have to do to work there or to become a store manager, but it's definitely not work. All the employees are running back and forth but what exactly they are doing is unclear; if 4 groups of 2 people each - have to wait 20 minutes to get 2 burgers and 2 fries in a bag. Incredible. Of course the food comes cold. I specifically went to a different branch than last time because I had to wait 30 minutes there. 10 minute improvement wow. But the food is cold and the burgers are incomplete. But you will be better served by the competition. Even local ones like Jim Block do it faster and better. There is a Burger King 300 meters away. I would recommend going there instead.

McDonald's in Hamburg is always great! The service is quick and the food always comes to the table hot and fresh. My favorite dish? The Big Mac Box. Simply delicious and never disappointed. The store is clean and the atmosphere is always pleasant.

The cash register electronics don't even understand the staff! No visit possible without a smartphone!!! The network is completely immature. You stand for an hour to enter your order into the system, then the cash register in the store only accepts GPay with Visa!!! GPay with PayPal is only accepted at the Mc Drive checkout. You're just annoyed by the garbage. Go eat somewhere else. Not even the staff understands the cash register system and hardly speaks any German anyway. It's a shame I won't be coming back after 15 years.

Was McDrive so can't judge the ambience. Burgers were good and fresh. The chicken nuggets had a very bitter aftertaste (old frying oil?)

Shop dirty, napkins on the floor, tray trolley overflowing! 5-6 employees pack orders but no one stands at the checkout and collects cash from those paying in cash! After 10 minutes someone came to the checkout! Absolute disaster in the store! All employees seem overwhelmed!

The meal took 20 minutes and 4/5 people were extremely sick at the end of the day and one of them vomited. This was honestly the worst McDonald's experience I've ever had.

What's the point of this conversion? This is really much worse than before. You basically can't sit in the entrance area because it's just way too cold coming in through the door. At peak times, there are tons of people standing in front of the pick-up line and waiting. We waited 25 minutes! There were 4 complaints before us because the order was incorrect or incomplete. Ours was ok today. But not twice before that. The staff is hopelessly overwhelmed and I almost feel sorry for them. But it's really, really bad there. Sorry. Unfortunately, the burgers are often clapped together and everything falls towards you. Better to go somewhere else.

Real juice shop, we gave the shop another chance online but every time something was missing. You can't reach anyone there and you won't get your money back either. Never order online again! I advise everyone against it. Better go to another McDonald's or order online from another one.

Since the last renovation (just finished) super strange layout, especially the table 3m from the counter seems very considered (not). The classic with ice cubes in the drink, although ordered without, was there again. The guy even had it written on the receipt and still does it wrong. Getting a new one takes about 3 minutes! lasted. Very disappointing.

A lot is forgotten. Every order must be checked because some things are always missing. Staff can't speak German. No matter what you ask, they don't understand you. Toilets always dirty.

Ordered three large milkshakes at the DriveIn. Unfortunately, two of them were not fully filled. We immediately complained about this, whereupon it was refilled, but this took a while because there still seemed to be a discussion among the employees.

This is by far the worst McDonald's branch in Hamburg. I now check every order, and truth be told, 9 out of 10 items in the order are forgotten. Happy Meal toys are often no longer available. The quality is typically poor at McDonald's, but in the past this was acceptable due to the low prices. Unfortunately it has also been resolved. Really disappointing there.

I think McDonald's should be required to set up deposit machines. With payment in cash. Nobody wants to stand in line again after eating to redeem the 25 cents. This is a deliberate rip-off. And there is a difference to the kiosk around the corner.

It is well known that the quality of McDonald's branches has declined significantly over the years. This branch has put everything before it in the shade. Got the wrong burger and only received what was actually ordered after objections. I can't determine whether this is due to a lack of language skills or just because it's late in the evening. Probably a mix of both. However, the rest of the correct order came in the box in pieces, the burger was no longer stacked as you would expect. The rest of the order was cold too. The toilets were also an imposition. Overall, a terrible visit. Not again, not even if there is a risk of starvation.

There are always exceptions. After waiting for 40 minutes and asking several times, our order was not started. We canceled the order (smoothly). Unfortunately, the 800 app points were not refunded. Small suggestion for improvement.

Guys, that was absolutely nothing! We were with you last night... 20 spicy nuggets... (order number 207)... lid on - touched - not even lukewarm anymore... and bone dry! So in German: ancient chicken nuggets! Back to the checkout - bitchy looks after I said the things were old and absolutely no longer fresh... then a new pack of hot, fresh and soft spicy nuggets actually arrived! This isn't something you're used to from McDonald's, which offers you old, cold food! Other branches can definitely do that better!

While the food is alright, average like most McDonalds the service took way too long for a simple McFlurry and a Burger. Also the terminals were like 3 generations behind, nothing that limits you but it feels a bit out of place. Anything else was average.

The employees are not friendly or not motivated. After my debit card didn't work when I ordered, I had to go to the checkout to pay. They simply ignored me there. After standing there for several minutes, I asked if I could pay. The employee then told another employee, who nodded his head. But nothing else happened and I was still ignored. I then left... I understand that you may have to do other things first. But you can at least let them know that it will take a while and that they will take care of it straight away. That's not possible and we're not going there anymore.

Absolute chaos at peak times. Waiting time up to 30 minutes after placing the order (fast food?). The digital display of the order status is completely incorrect. If the display says my order is ready for pickup, then I expect it to be. This creates a huge traffic jam at the counter and the order eventually falls out of the system. At some point our order number was no longer on the displays. After 15 minutes, an employee loudly called out the order. An item was missing from the bag. This was apparently normal at the time. People kept running back to the counter complaining that the order was incomplete. The employees are very helpful and friendly, but overwhelmed.

This is the worst McDonald's I've been to in my entire life. Date: September 11, 2024 12:30 a.m Employees very very unfriendly I even call and tell them that this food is cold cold and not fresh that 1 fries are missing and the citizens all tasted disgusting I have never experienced anything like this but these employees and the manager are simply on my mind put on his face and beat me up and yelled at me that's not possible. Shame on these employees who simply don't prepare McDonald's food properly and thus drag the name down.!!! I'm so angry because I'm hungry and nothing tastes good because it's cold, the fries are sticky, the nuggets are harder than a stone, so you're really speechless...

I was five minutes ago in the restaurant and I ordered food on the take away and didn't get ice cream to my happy meal and nuggets, this is not first time when there are problems with my orders in this restaurant shame!!!!

The worst McDonald's I've ever been to. When it comes to food, Mecces is... In 8/10 cases the order issued is incorrect or something is missing. Service is super unfriendly, orders that are supposed to be brought to the table are sometimes not brought to the table but left for pickup. Ice cream/milkshake is made first and then allowed to melt in hot weather until the rest of the menu comes together. The monitor that shows the status of the order only worked for me during one visit, otherwise it was off or displayed things incorrectly. The entrance with the successive heavy doors is annoying if you are traveling with a stroller. That and the now high prices have made it easy for me to forego Meccess in the future.

Extremely bad service. Data from the app could not be accessed at the checkout during the drive-in, I was not allowed to place an order at the window and had to go in. I don't understand why now
