In general, I can't recommend McDonald's at all from a vegetarian/vegan perspective! The selection is minimal. At the bistro, I opted for the vegan nuggets to go, but then saw in the car that they were regular chicken nuggets. No go!

You really shouldn't order there. Either you're told after an hour of waiting that your order has been canceled, or you get something completely wrong.

I actually rarely go to McDonald's, and now I remember why. At 11 p.m., we were already asked to order our food to go. We simply ignored them. We should have done it sooner. We couldn't find a single clean table. The floor was so dirty and sticky, I was afraid I'd lose my ballet flats. I'd rather not write about the restrooms...risk of getting herpes. That was really bad.

I ordered a McSmart meal using the McDonald's app and had already paid so that I could just pick it up. When I got home, I realized that instead of two burgers, they had only packed me one! We have been regular customers at this branch for over 10 years and have always been satisfied. Recently, however, we've been experiencing increasing negative experiences – especially regarding the freshness and temperature of the food. The fries often arrive cold and smell strongly of old frying oil. Of course, we address such issues directly with the restaurant staff – but instead of showing understanding or consideration, they react increasingly rudely and say this is "normal." This clearly contradicts McDonald's' freshness promise, which states that food should always be served hot and fresh. One particularly disappointing incident occurred when an employee touched the fries with his hand to demonstrate that they were still edible – with the same hands he had previously used to pay. For us, this is an absolute no-go in terms of hygiene and customer respect. It's a shame, but under these circumstances, I will avoid this branch, which I have visited regularly for years, in the future.

Never visited such a bad McDonald's! Cold fries and burgers despite a very long wait! Returned food and received a new one, cold again! All this for €28! I'll never go to that store again!

The quality of the food leaves much to be desired. The food was lukewarm even though the drive-thru and store were empty.

We spontaneously stopped at this restaurant at 11:30 PM on May 15, 2025, after a four-hour flight, to fortify ourselves for the journey home. We wanted to unwind from our vacation together before heading home. We checked the opening hours beforehand, which Google showed as closing at 1:00 AM. Therefore, we thought this would be a good place to eat. So we drove off the highway specifically to eat there. Upon arrival, we were informed during the ordering process that the food was only available for takeout. Slightly surprised, we ordered the food to go. During the very long wait, which was at least 20 minutes, I repeatedly observed the employees busy with their smartphones. This did not give me the impression that this was a professionally run McDonald's restaurant. My order was also incomplete. Despite the poor service, the burgers tasted good. However, we would have preferred to eat them in the restaurant itself rather than in our car.

Never seen such a dirty Mac before. There's rubbish everywhere. You can't even use the toilet because you need rubber boots. In my photo, for example, you can see the tray collection points that are so full that people are dumping their trash next to them.

I don't know why, but for me the McDonald's in Bremervörde is the best in the Elbe-Weser triangle - always fresh burgers that taste good and friendly and fast service 👍👍👍

Wanted to have breakfast today, luckily the toilets were right at the entrance: dirty, no soap and no toilet paper…. Went straight back.

Not recommended – disappointing experience We spontaneously decided to end the evening with the family at McDonald's - unfortunately a mistake. The restaurant was very dirty, the tables were sticky, the floor was dirty and we had to wait almost 30 minutes for our food. It wasn't fast food When the food finally came, the disappointment was great: the burgers were cold, the lettuce on the chicken burger looked wilted and unappetizing - as if it had been picked up from the floor. The fries were also cold, soggy and tasted old. The "highlight" was the new wrap that my wife wanted to try. This was not even half full, prepared completely carelessly and had absolutely nothing to do with the attractively presented product in the advertisement. When we politely asked, we only got an unfriendly answer: “That’s what they look like, it’s normal.” No accommodation for the cold food, no apology. For a family meal of this quality and with such poor service, even two stars are too much. I see this as clear customer deception and will report it accordingly. It's a shame - you don't make a good impression that way.

Is it too difficult to make coffee? Folks, the demand for lactose-free milk is no joke. If the staff can't handle two different cartons of milk, that's too much. This is not a joke, take it seriously!

Ordered via McDrive. Andtelle Plantbased Nuggets, chicken, no napkins. Having to get out extra... ok, that can happen but then it's still rude and no sorry?

Update: Content is missing from the order again. The quality is quite lower compared to other McDo branches in Hamburg. Particularly worth mentioning is the sticky and cold fries and when mentioned, the employees seem proud of them!!! For the first time in a long time I received an order without any missing content. The employees have become more attentive. There is still a lot of potential in order preparation time. MC Ribs takes more than 10 minutes.

Modern McDonald's with McCafe. Very friendly including delivery of food and drinks to the table. Almost all tables have 230V sockets for working/charging. Large playground.

Hello, the little ones wanted to have a play area with fries 😉 of course on the way home we went to the store. The food was hot, the service was nice, the place was clean, but the children's play area ......Wow, that was unhygienic, it had the smell of old washcloths and urine..... So at least the kids had the fries

A surprisingly positive experience! We actually rarely go to McDonald’s, but today we made an exception and were more than pleasantly surprised! The staff at this restaurant is incredibly friendly and helpful. You immediately feel welcome and well looked after. No matter what question or concern we had, we were helped with a smile. Additionally, the store itself was spotlessly clean and modernly decorated. The atmosphere was pleasant and inviting, which made our visit a completely positive experience.

Along with the Sinstorf branch, this is one of the few places in and around Harburg where parts of the order are often forgotten during the drive-thru. Often, these are MyMcDonalds rewards. Many employees also speak little to no German. The food is typical of McDonald's.

It's just a McDonald's, so you can't expect too much. The staff mostly only speaks English. They seem annoyed and stressed, but when you speak to them, they're usually friendly. Orders take longer than usual. The ordering kiosks don't give you a receipt (they're always empty, for whatever reason). The floor is constantly sticky. And you should ALWAYS check your order when you take it out. An occasional visit is okay.

The table was dirty, customers were using emergency exits, there were questionable puddles in the children's playground, the child didn't get his Happy Meal request because everything was empty, there was supposed to be a large fries in the order and I only got a medium one that was also missing salt, which I couldn't prove because the entire order was simply missing in the app (???), and last but not least, the child now has food poisoning, which I'm 99% sure he got from this store. At least I got salt.

Everything was really bad, the doors didn't open, my food only came after half an hour, the slightly slimmer service was very rude and then I was home and wanted to eat and my curly fries weren't there. My goodness, what happened to McDonald's? Full toilets where you can't get in properly and the sink doesn't work, there are chips on the floor everywhere in the kitchen and everyone is traipsing in and dealing with customers is also tough. We were there on January 16th, 2025 at around 6:30 p.m. My impression of these McDonalds is getting worse and worse. The doors can't be opened easily, we were called and waited 15 minutes for our food even though there was almost no one there. Plus the price is way too high. At least it's clean and the staff at least isn't unfriendly and the food was quite good. There used to be a very good McDonald's, but unfortunately it's getting worse and worse.

The service here was super fast and friendly, even though the store was full. The burgers were fresh and really tasty. What more could you want? Absolutely recommended! I always enjoy coming back when I'm nearby. Top experience, again and again.

I am very dissatisfied with my order. Part of my order was incorrect and another part was completely forgotten. When I called the branch I was treated extremely rudely. The employee immediately blamed the delivery service without even offering a solution. I ordered the newly advertised double choc bag to take away. When I was home and wanted to eat it, it was completely different. I have rarely had such a bad experience at a McDonalds as I did last night. At around 11:30 p.m., I and two other people placed an order for this branch using the app and paid online. Within the app we were able to explicitly select collection IN the branch with consumption on site. We actually wanted to eat at the branch to get a quick break from a long car ride. When we arrived on site we found that the doors were locked but the drive through was open, so we went into the drive. The person answering the intercom was initially confused because we had accumulated multiple orders in one car. When we asked why the shop was closed, we were told that it was “always like that”. Thank you, this really helps me as I travel through Hamburg as a stranger. Well, after a short discussion (it was really tiring, there was very loud music playing in the branch, which made it difficult to have a meaningful conversation) and taking another order, we got our food and now had to eat in the car in the parking lot. Too bad. By the way, the milkshake machine worked and the type ordered was correct. That's worth a star surcharge for me.

I left after 15 minutes... hopefully they cooked my order too quickly and then asked themselves who ordered it. After several unsatisfactory visits, it was definitely my last in this branch

Unfriendly service, my wife wanted to complain about her ice cream because it tasted like peach and not vanilla, when she complained the staff gave her a bird and shouted at her, the reaction from her superior was also the best: she hugged her employee and said get moving not like that. Yesterday I ordered a cappuccino with lactose-free milk and waited an unbelievable 30 minutes for it. When I saw that my order was being processed, I saw that an employee made my cappuccino with normal milk instead of lactose-free milk. I then pointed out to the employee that it was not lactose-free milk. The employee then discussed it with me and said that it was lactose-free milk. The employee even showed me the packaging, but I said that there was nothing about the milk packaging saying it was lactose-free. He noticed this after a discussion and then made me a cappuccino with lactose-free milk. Terrible.

Unfortunately, service at breakfast was very poor. First things were forgotten, then they never came because the devices for them had since been switched off. In addition, there was a film of grease on the floor of the entire restaurant and people were constantly slipping.

Outside area just as dirty, disgusting. And that wasn't the first time it looked like that. Whenever we're there it looks like this. Employees are standing there talking about why things aren't being cleaned. They could learn to be friendly again.
