McDonald's in Göttingen

I have rarely seen a McDonald's where the toilets are so sparkling clean. The food was good too. That's how you like to go to Macces again

Actually, one star is too many because the toilet is full of shit on the glasses and lid. The tables and floor are full of garbage and sticky. If you talk to employees, they are unfriendly or don't understand anything you want. They make a lot of mistakes and forget a lot ,when ordering. Then they say they need training on how to clean, what a statement that is.

Unfortunately, I become more and more disappointed with each subsequent visit. And today again... We wanted to order at the order terminal, unfortunately none of the coupons worked. So after several attempts, I canceled the order and went to checkout. At first you stand there and are skillfully ignored by all the employees, until someone takes pity and the Nette Damme (who is responsible for the cash register) points out that someone is standing there and waiting. Then you describe the problem and get the answer that it works at the checkout. Yes, good, then I would like to redeem the coupons here. So the cashier takes the order with little enthusiasm (well, okay, she doesn't have to shower me with compliments. She does her job and it's good. ) Place the order, pay, wait, take away. We were a bit in Ee because the child was already very tired, so let's go. Then at home the surprise!!! Of all the coupons, only one was redeemed!!!!! The rest was at normal price! And the beloved apple turnover for my daughter wasn't even in the bag!!!!! Honestly, I don't know if I'll go there again.

You MUST always check the order. It's stupid when you notice at home that something is missing. Unfortunately, it happens often.

Everything was great, short waiting time, food as requested

Mur 3 minutes from departure, hot burgers, nice service, very clean. The tables were always cleaned straight away

The floor was very greasy and extremely slippery. Hip hop was playing at an uncomfortable volume. Even though we had to wait longer for the food, everything was only lukewarm. All four cheeseburgers had different toppings, all of the onions from the four burgers were on just one. The only constant was way too much ketchup. Two tables were full of young people who not only ate unappetizingly, they were also so loud that we were forced to change rooms. Neither the staff nor the adult companions called them to order.

I have regular decaffeinated coffee. The smallest coffee and taste seems WITH CAFFEINE for a pregnant woman. Unfortunately not to be trusted.

So the lady's behavior is really disappointing. We wanted to eat together with the family. Waited over 15 minutes. When I went to the checkout and asked how long it would take, the woman at the checkout replied excitingly that she had no idea. And when the food came, the sauce was missing. Great!! So I also work in the catering industry. But you can't expect that kind of service from McDonald's. Really very disappointed

As a long-time customer of McDonald's, I will never visit the branch in Göttingen Siekweg again.! I feel like I'm being ripped off, but something like that. When I asked twice today if I could order something from the McCafe counter, I was told no, I should order at the front. 10 minutes later, another couple was served at the McCafe counter. Whether it was because of my hair color or whether my face didn't suit the employees has ?

I have been waiting for a burger and fries for more than 30 minutes. Fast food...

So it's as hard as it sounds, but people here regularly get the wrong shakes and every time they say "Can you wait at the parking lot please?". I thought I was at a fast food chain.

Overall, my experience at McDonald’s was positive. However, I’d like to highlight one area for improvement: the accessibility of the entrance. The current setup is primarily designed for cars, with no designated crosswalk or footpath leading to the front entrance for pedestrians. As a result, the only way for pedestrians to access the restaurant is through the parking lot at the back. Improving pedestrian access by adding a crosswalk or footpath would make the location much more convenient and accessible for everyone.

Wait 25 minutes for food. This is not fast food! Things are quicker in the restaurant. Disaster!

Disappointing quality compared to other branches

One of the best McDonald's branches we have visited so far! Very friendly staff who also fulfill special requests such as straws and bags with a smile. In addition, the burgers are lovingly prepared, the portion sizes are very good and the food overall is very fresh and warm.

We can't say anything about the food. As cash payers, we were literally overlooked. Man didn't even acknowledge us. So we left after a few minutes and definitely won't come back. Clearly not recommended!

Every time there are problems with the order then you try to call by phone and no one is impossible to reach

A very large McDonald's with lots of parking spaces and table service, the corresponding signs and reusable dishes were sufficiently available. Unfortunately, the parking lot is separated from the building by the ToGo line and there is no pedestrian crossing, which is why we had to squeeze between the cars that were tightly packed together. The food took a while but was noticeably freshly prepared and warm

Tables were not wiped once and were therefore very unclean. The men's toilet reeked of urine and is outdone by some highway parking lot toilets.

Ordering food via the terminals works smoothly. The premises are very clean and the staff is friendly and accommodating. There is seating both inside and outside. There is a relatively large play tower for children.

So in short, everything tastes good to me personally and everything is fresh. There is only one small flaw for me, which would be that I find the items too expensive, but it doesn't stop me from visiting the restaurant from time to time

If the overweight waitress serves you, you better check your order. When she gets into a bad mood for whatever reason, maybe because it's nighttime and she doesn't feel like it, she becomes unfocused and forgets to pack things. Unfortunately, I didn't check and the stop was missing. And when you call a landline, no one answers, even though it only closes in a mecces...

Fetched something to eat during the lunch break, MC drive, the young man barely understood so quietly, then drove to work because then I noticed that one burger was wrong and 2 were completely mushy, I couldn't give feedback in the app either. Very annoying 😡

The employees are super friendly, never in a bad mood and always have time for a few nice words. The branch is well run and cleaner than some others!!

Even though the store was very busy at 6 p.m., as Google predicted, the order went relatively quickly. The only detraction was the slightly messy toilet.

I waited half an hour for food, got my cheeseburger without cheese, got sparkling water instead of a Sprite, then pointed it out to the staff and they said it was on purpose because the Sprite was empty and another employee was responsible for refilling it be responsible. Then I got my Sprite but it was so cold that it was unpleasantly cold again. I ordered Kringel fries and got a bag with 7 or 8 Kringel fries and the bag was filled with unsalted cold fries. The bench was hard and uncomfortable, at least the ice machine worked.

Spacious and clean restaurant. Also highly recommended with children. There is a great play tower. Friendly and quick service.

We ordered something to take away as a family. The McRib was missing the BBQ sauce, there weren't enough straws packed and the McChicken barely had any sauce. 2 stars because the fries were nice and hot.

Late at night, around 10 p.m., I decided to go to Mäces again to take a small evening meal home with me; I now regret this step. At the entrance, somehow look for the selected menu in the terminal, find it, click through all the sometimes irritating data, believe that you have ordered the right thing, and go towards the waiting area. You have to pay in between, you have to do it. Dana h wait again. By now it was getting pretty busy. At some point the drinks we ordered came to the car and home. Unpacked at home and disappointed. Instead of the chicken burger as ordered and paid for, the menu only included the cheeseburger. Do you go back at 11 p.m. in the evening to exchange? Exactly, no. So you eat it. Not more. I'll think twice about the next time I go to mäces. P.S. I don't want to swap places with the staff......!

It's nice to load it up in advance, the tablet table is also cool, the play tower is super cool for children. Now I'm coming to but... the tables aren't really clean.. but ok they were there today and there was so much going on that you Had to be really quick to even get one...ordered that and it took forever. First our number didn't exist at all then they gave us a new one and it took another time. Eeeever .. When the food came it was noticed that the drink was missing. Then in the happy meal there was the same thing 3 times instead of as ordered! So fries, burger quetschie and Capri Sun...two burgers and one nuggets. While I was queuing there, I heard others complaining that they had ordered at the same time as someone but only received it when the person accompanying them had already finished eating. The other one had water instead of the Sprite we ordered. Then you can only order on the giant screens. What doesn't really seem to work, e.g. redeeming coupons, is an art if it works. For me and my family it was a little more than 1 1/2 hours, of which we ate for a maximum of 15 minutes. In addition, the noise was enormous... the food was sometimes better... well, it's actually not worth a visit anymore... Unfortunately, the staff communicates also more with hands and feet than with words..

You will always experience friendly staff here, good advice about toilet offers, and you can go to the toilets with peace of mind

Rarely seen such a clean McDonald's, very nice and capable staff here. My mom often comes over for breakfast, which is saying something 😉 The next time we are in Göttingen we would like to come back.

Food arrived very carelessly crumpled up. Waited a long time for a small order even though it wasn't busy. Lots of trash. The waitress was obviously in a very bad mood and was complaining about why “all the fo****rs” had left their garbage there even though the tray return and the tables were full.

If you know one, you know them all. Tastes like everywhere else in Germany. 🫣

There have been no soft drinks there for over three weeks on the grounds that they are not carbonated! They're probably trying to rip you off! All in all very strange...

MC's departure, glass comes off badly

At the end of a trip, my wife and I stopped here briefly to eat some ice cream. Orders were placed with table service at the terminal. The wait was very long for just two ice creams, even though the McDonald wasn't particularly full. But then we couldn't believe our eyes. A service employee swept the outside area (floor) with a broom and hand shovel. There were a few chips and a few lettuce leaves on our neighboring table from previous guests. Without thinking about it, the employee took the broom that had previously been used to sweep the floor and swept the leftover food from the table into his hand shovel and then continued sweeping the floor. We really couldn't believe what we were seeing. In the following 10 minutes, no employee came to wipe the table again if necessary. Last but not least, the ice cream, which arrived at our table some time later, had already thawed very much and was almost impossible to spoon. Either the ice cream machine is set too warm or the ice cream has been waiting for a long time to be brought to our table. Neither is acceptable. We will therefore not recommend this McDonald's and will not visit it again in the near future. Unfortunately, the dining area overall didn't seem very clean.

Took something along the way. Went very quickly, nice staff. Inside and the toilet's clean. It tasted like MC Donald's 😉

Were there in the MCdrive. Food quite okay. Chicken nuggets were okay. Burgers were cold and sauces were missing. We can't say what the atmosphere is like. Service quite okay.

Service okay, were in the restaurant around 10 p.m., food came after 5 minutes, Cheeseburger + fries were cold, two other burgers were okay. Restaurant was clean and was not very busy at that time

I ordered 2 burgers and 2 fries from McDrive. There was a chip missing from the bag. There was no effort to deliver me the fries. It can't be the case that you have to check the bags on site. There were only 4 pieces. In my opinion this was intentional and therefore fraudulent.

It's very good, the food is very good and the service is very quick. The food is also good but you gain weight quickly.

I've always wanted to say A McDonald's restaurant with a great, friendly, attentive and often very warm character, a great team keep it up I would really like to have a cozy corner outside for people who are not physically fit

Ordering at the terminal is easy and the order arrives quickly. What bothers me is the toilets - the men's toilets are always dirty - as far as I'm concerned they are set way too low so you can hardly sit down.

The food tasted very strange, unlike in other McDonald's branches, the chic nuggets were not good at all and the MC Grip also had a different bun and a different sauce than usual.

We were there for breakfast. The whole store was so cold that we couldn't take off our jackets. Even the employees walked around in Einterjqcken. Meal (scrambled eggs and 2 burgers) took over 15 minutes.

Am Restaurant ist ein Hinweis "24h geöffnet". Für das McCafe stehen diese Zeiten auch bei den Öffnungszeiten, hier in Maps. Diese kann ich auch nicht als Änderung vorschlagen. Allerdings sind die Öffnungszeiten an den meisten Tagen nur von 07:00 bis 02:00 . Also stehe ich jetzt 2h vor der Öffnung hier und hätte gerne eine Kaffee gehabt...

Wieder im Mc Drive Essen zum Mitnehmen geholt. Dieses mal mit vorbestellung, und auch dieses Mal fehlte wieder etwas, dieses Mal zu den 2 x 20 Chicken Nuggets die 6 Soßen. In den letzten 2 Wochen 5 mal dagewesen, 4 mal etwas gefehlt. Langsam verliert man die Lust hier zu Essen, wir werden nur noch kontrollieren!!! Bessert sich nichts, werden wir nicht mehr kommen!

Heute leider nichts geklappt. Wollten App Coupons einlösen und hat weder an dem Bestell Kasten funktioniert (andauernd Fehlermeldung) und am Schalter auch nicht. Haben die Bedienung gebeten einen Chef oder Schichtleiter zu zur Hilfe zu holen aber keine Reaktion. Sind dann zur Konkurrenz gefahren. Tja wenn man kein Umsatz ( wären um die 50 Euro) machen will, dann nicht. Schade.....

In letzter Zeit schmecken die Burger und Pommes in dieser Filiale immer schlechter und mir geht es nach dem Essen dort nicht gut. Bei anderen Filialen ist mir das nicht (oder zumindest nicht in dem Maß) aufgefallen.

Super tolles Restaurant. Alles lecker und frisch. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Zur Überbrückung um auf den Adac zu warten , gerade so ausreichend! Essen kalt, Pommes eiskalt, Mitarbeiter können kein deutsch und verstehen nicht, wenn es Fragen gibt, Sitzplätze teilweise superschmutzig, Rückgabewagen ebenso, und im gesamten Restaurant kalt und ungemütlich, Heizung abgestellt.

Teuer wie anderswo wo auch. Aber fast 30 Minuten am drive in....geht gar nicht. Cola ohne Eis bestellt...mit Eis bekommen. Burger ohne Käse bestellt.....der Bacon war auch weg.

Wie immer, die goldenen Bögen der Freiheit. Dann noch der Mann der spät Abends mit einer Warmhaltetasche aus dem drive-throu ging, später sah man ihn in Richtung Göttinger Innenstadt Burger ausliefern: der Mensch verdient 100% mehr Lohn & Wertschätzung. Das zahlen wir dann auch!👍

Alles gut, wenn man nicht immer seine Bestellung kontrollieren muss, Majo Ketchup... usw. Schön wäre es, wenn das Essen etwas wärmer den Tresen verlässt. Egal welches MC, für beide Kommentare.

Essen war ok. Die Toiletten hingegen nicht schön hat alles sehr nach pipi dort gerochen .
