McDonald's in Göttingen

I wanted to grab some food quickly, but I wasn't happy with the result. Our order got lost among about 10 other people, and after 20 minutes and some back and forth, it took even longer before anything happened. The order was incomplete, but after another call, it was finally handed over. It was also annoying that the lid of my cup wasn't properly tightened, causing cola to spill all over my car.

This is by far the worst McDonald's I know; they constantly forget things you order at the drive-thru, and you can see how little effort they put into preparing the burgers' receipts. I really wouldn't recommend it.

Fast, efficient, and the food tasted good. Thumbs up!

I was at the Göttingen motorway service station; the cappuccino and cheesecake were good. Unfortunately, there was no "cookie or anything similar" included with the cappuccino, which was a shame.

I was here on Sunday afternoon, and the restaurant is clean and excellent. I was served by a young employee (Ms. Robika) who brought my food and even checked on me! This was exemplary service in a top McDonald's restaurant! 👍👍 Other restaurants in Lower Saxony could learn a thing or two about cleanliness and personal service from this place!! A fairly large and lively McDonald's.

The food was delicious and I would come again, but my Big Rösti Raclette was missing my salad and bacon. Similarly, my friend's Big Rösti, which had cottage cheese (or whatever it's called) with that brown sauce 😂, was also missing bacon. Otherwise, everything was great, but next time I'd like my burger to be complete. Best regards 😊

The shift supervisor was (probably) extremely rude. Online ordering didn't work, which isn't a big deal in itself, but to be so rude is unacceptable.

I can definitely recommend McDonald's restrooms. They're clean and well-maintained, including the restaurant itself. My fries were old and soggy, and I complained at the counter about the wrap being only half full. They made me a new one, though. Update: Still no improvement. The urinal is full of urine right up to the rim, so it must have been unchecked for a while. Taking a picture of that would be disgusting. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Unfortunately, a disappointment. It was my first visit to this restaurant. The wait for service was incredibly long, and the staff more or less ignored us. I can't comment on the food, as we didn't eat anything.

This strange place is absolute filth! I'm being accused of never having ordered food, even though I did. I ordered food from the vending machine, but it never arrived. So I'm being accused of never having ordered anything for a lot of money. I think I'm mad because even my inner pig is dying of hunger. This service alone is not recommended!! Horrible! So I can't rate the food because I never received it. This dump is incredibly disappointing!

The Halloween decorations weren't particularly good, so I'm giving the ambience one star less.

McDonalds is the same everywhere

I was at McDonald's in Göttingen in early 2016. We arrived in a rented Ford from Kassel. My wife was driving. Despite the laser and camera, I backed into a wall. I later had to pay €1,000 for repairs. Anyway, I ended up buying a car as a result of the incident.

It's just McDonald's, everything's the same everywhere. The current offering, 20-piece nuggets with three spicy sauces, no one can eat that.

We waited a long time for our order, but overall, everything was fine. For a place near the highway, it's excellent.🌺

Everything is great, I recommend it blindly

Everything was cold and quickly made... The guy told me, for example, that the tortilla was cold but warm inside 🫣🥶🥴 The rest was also quickly made because they were the last customers? I don't recommend it!!! I hope McDonald's management will take care of this... I specifically ordered a happy meal so my child could get a toy... Unfortunately, I didn't get anything like that... Next time, I recommend hot food at supermarkets... than to hire people who don't respect your eating habits and instead of spending 10 euros, I got scraps!!!!! I hope management understands what I wrote!!!!!

We had to wait 40 minutes for our food. On top of that, the fries were cold, and our meals were missing sauce. Unfortunately, no one told us when we ordered that it might take longer. And since we had already paid, we couldn't cancel. The restrooms were so filthy, there was urine on the floor, etc. We couldn't even use them on our way home from vacation after the long wait. It's a shame – we've never been disappointed by McDonald's before – but this was truly the worst we've ever visited.

Just order somewhere else unless you like cold food and long waiting times

It fulfilled all the clichés I expected from a McDonald's there. The place was dirty, the toilets stank of piss, my shoes stuck to the floor, and some of the upholstery was broken. The food was okay, nothing special.

Phew, this visit will be memorable, but unfortunately not a particularly positive one. The food arrived promptly and correctly. The special McFlurry 'Baci' was, unfortunately, a total rip-off: a standard ice cream with a bit of chocolate sauce and hazelnut pieces. But the worst of all were the restrooms. In some places, there was no toilet paper, and there were leftovers from previous diners EVERYWHERE (literally everywhere). It's a miracle that the guests haven't lost their appetites... Photos have been omitted for obvious reasons.

Food was okay. Order incomplete. Be sure to check before taking it home! Continued problems with completeness, even after 5 years. Rating reduced to 1 star.

I've always been happy with this McDonald's, but now I've once again gotten regular chicken nuggets at the McDrive instead of the vegetarian McPlant nuggets.

A pleasant place to stop on the go, and the waitress was nice. Everything was clean.

We got burgers, nuggets, and fries at the drive-thru. When we got home, we realized there were no fries. We didn't have a receipt, so there was no way to prove that the fries were missing. The Royal TS was small and dry. Never again!!!

This won't be my favorite store! It wasn't busy when I was there...there were wrappers everywhere...food scraps, and many of the tables and seating were dirty...I felt pressure in my bladder...but I didn't want to have to use the restroom because of all the impressions.

Waiting 30 minutes for caffe is not funny joke

As always, it's excellent. The option to order your food in advance via the app makes it incredibly easy. Accessible parking is available. Ground-level entrance. Accessible restroom.

We ordered and when we unpacked at home we noticed that one burger was missing -.- it really wasn't that busy (2:39am)

Not recommended. The fries were cold, and the drinks were delivered incorrectly. We informed the staff, and they took the food back. Shortly afterward, we received new fries – this time warm, but not as ordered: instead of four large portions, we received two large and two medium. The drinks were also delivered correctly later. The staff were generally very unfriendly. After the second attempt to deliver the food correctly, it was clear that they were no longer interested. The restaurant wasn't even full – so that was no excuse either. For us, it was a disappointing visit.

I had to wait over 15 minutes for two Big Macs, 20 nuggets, and a File-O-Fish. The display at the counter wasn't working, so I couldn't see what order was next. Whether it was the new preparation system or the staff, I have no idea... the counter was full of burgers, so our burgers and nuggets were lukewarm by the end. It's a shame...

Every order I place in the drive-thru always comes with errors!

It's been completely disastrous for about a year now. They just never learn. The fries are always very old, soggy, and cold. Eating them is disgusting. They're pure mush. Burgers are heartlessly topped, everything in the box flies around, patties almost fall out, etc. It's not what it used to be. My entire company, including 50-60 former regulars at your shop, no longer eats in Grone! Weende does a much better job.

I was there today and had specifically pre-ordered so it would be faster, which worked, but unfortunately, my order for takeaway food was packed, even though I actually wanted to take it out, but that was also packed... The food was cold. Didn't taste good.

I have no expectations of McDonald's other than diarrhea after eating and getting something to eat at night when everyone else is closed. I was sent away with a hand signal 30 minutes before closing time (it used to be 24/7). If time is needed for cleaning, then adjust the opening hours.

It's probably too much to ask to count to four. I ordered four cheeseburgers and then realized I only had three in the bag when I was already on the highway. We often go to McDonald’s and often even order in large quantities! And leave a lot of money behind!!! Every time very rude, very annoyed! Tables and hygiene are a complete disaster! But after the A7 was completely closed, there weren't many alternatives after 10 p.m., so we went there. We were very, very positively surprised. I cannot confirm the many negative reviews. When we go to the North Sea, we always stop at this MC Donald on the way there and back. So far, always to our complete satisfaction. Everything clean and tidy. Very attentive staff who are also happy to fulfill special requests. Ordering via the APP has always worked smoothly so far. Food at the table within 5 to 10 minutes. I've experienced much worse MC Donads restaurants. Therefore full marks.

I've said it what feels like 1,000 times that caramel and ice cubes belong in an iced latte, but every time they are forgotten. The food is not good, I took a menu for which I paid almost 11€, to be honest I expected the burger to be bigger, in fact I showed the chef what I wanted and he commented that they don't have what I wanted, it can be found at other McDonald's. In the end, maybe other things are better and at cheaper prices but I didn't know what to choose. Clean McDonald's and quick service.

The staff is completely overwhelmed at the first rays of sunshine. I placed an order via the app with table service. Part of the order was, of course, ice cream. Only when I asked was I told that the machine couldn't keep up with production. My first complaint was received after 30 minutes but ignored. It was suggested that my order would be taken care of. This was just stalling and being left standing. Only a further complaint to the shift manager led to our order being completed. As a result, we waited over 40 minutes in the fast food restaurant for ice cream and a few drinks. This is definitely unacceptable and unprofessional in handling such a situation.

Friendly, finished quickly despite the large quantity

The children's toys were missing from the happy meals. Bigmac incorrectly filled, a patty is missing (which was specially ordered) Cola zero without ice instead of with ice as stated in the app. I drove home for 15 minutes just to have the children disappointed, thank you for nothing. The cashier at the drive today was and is always great, the waitress was nice but forgot fries and Coke. Unfortunately, the detail is always a bit lost, something is often missing. The floor was very greasy and extremely slippery. Hip hop was playing at an uncomfortable volume. Even though we had to wait longer for the food, everything was only lukewarm. All four cheeseburgers had different toppings, all of the onions from the four burgers were on just one. The only constant was way too much ketchup. Two tables were full of young people who not only ate unappetizingly, they were also so loud that we were forced to change rooms. Neither the staff nor the adult companions called them to order.

I have regular decaffeinated coffee. The smallest coffee and taste seems WITH CAFFEINE for a pregnant woman. Unfortunately not to be trusted.
