BURGER KING Weende in Göttingen

Hi everyone, We didn't receive parts of our order last night (one of the two kids' meals was missing). That's not a problem in itself, these things happen, but then not being reachable by phone all evening and not having Lieferando provide contact information where we could order the rest is simply unprofessional. That was really awful!

I walked half an hour to see it is closed. They should state time table punctually!

It's fast food, either one or the other.

Burger and fries were cold. All the tables were dirty, and there was a hair in the fries.

I've been back to Burger King after a long time, and it's nothing like it was before the "remodel." Inviting, more modern with self-service kiosks, and the food has improved, too. 👍

If a business, in this case the Burger King branch in Weende, can afford a delivery vehicle to deliver fast food to the local public and thus increase its sales, the branch managers should of course consider the parking space for this vehicle. We citizens pay taxes, among other things, for waste disposal and the provision of parking spaces on the streets of local residents. However, Burger King is not a private individual living on Petrikirchstrasse, but a large company that operates a branch nearby. It would be nice if Burger King could acquire a parking space for itself without using the parking spaces for paying residents. After all, we have already paid for decades for the legacy of its customers in the fields, meadows, and urban green spaces, and I don't want to finance parking spaces for companies that want to reduce their operating costs and pass them on to the general public. The two photos show the delivery vehicle on September 27th. and 2.10.2025 in the morning around 7:30 a.m. in the Petrikirchstrasse in Göttingen-Weende and I had noticed them several times days before, parked in a similar place.

I was at the drive-thru today, and I just have to give a special shout-out to the staff. I was very surprised to find someone at Burger King so polite and friendly that I drove away in a good mood, even after a really exhausting day. Thank you so much 🥰

The apps don't work, and there aren't enough staff to ask questions. We stood there with our kids for 20 minutes and then drove away.

I was back after a long time and have to say thanks, but no thanks. The place is okay after the renovation, but the food, well, I don't think it could get any colder. Absolutely disgusting, and so expensive. No wonder it's not as busy anymore. So, for me, the place is finished!

Incredibly bad service, I got a 0.4 Coke instead of a 0.35 Coke, I complained, they said go away, then I had a lettuce stick in my burger, unbelievably disgusting, never again Burger King

It's become very chic since the renovation. The food is freshly prepared and delicious.

Burgers are made incorrectly despite cancellations, waiting times are far too long and 0% German and 0% friendliness

Received a completely cold burger, the cheese didn't melt, and the patties were completely ice cold. The plump woman with glasses responded by saying it couldn't be that the burger was cold, and that the cheese didn't melt was because the burgers were so fresh. €15 for a cold meal, thank you very much.

Very nice and modern branch, quick preparation, and everything fresh and as ordered. I didn't interact much with the staff, but they seemed very friendly. So, for a Burger King meal, it's definitely a 10 out of 10. Edit: I don't know what happened, but the plant-based patties are dry, like they've been in a warming container for three days (this happened after two orders in different months), taste incredibly disappointing, and you can't order small burgers as part of a meal. Personally, I don't need to come here anymore.

There are plenty of parking spaces, and everything's fine. During rush hour, you end up sitting facing the main road, but the Double Whopper still fits in easily.

I ordered a burger with extra jalapenos. When I came home and opened the packet the burger was just regular without my extra jalapenos. They take extra money for it so they should make sure that they are adding it. The taste was moderate.

We thought we'd go to Burger King tonight to get something to eat. We really should have left it alone. At the drive-thru the employee yelled at us that I needed a coupon for the burger I wanted instead of politely pointing it out. I thought, okay, maybe he's just having a bad day or something, but when we got home and wanted to start eating we found hair in the burger which ruined the whole meal and it ended up in the trash. Thanks for nothing and that was the last time we go to Burger King and I'll tell everyone I know that. Maybe someone should rethink their health policy and check out the employees. I can't remember the name exactly, but it was something with S. Mr. Salman or something like that. In any case, I hope that gentleman's sleeves slip down when he washes his hands, that he runs out of toilet paper when he has diarrhea and that the next time the hair clippers are set too low and the barber slips.

€10 for two terrible milkshakes. The machine was apparently broken, because after a few astonished sips, we realized that both milkshakes tasted equally of nothing. Anyway, we went back in to let them know. The waitress at the front initially offered to make new ones, which was perfectly fine, of course. The manager (?) then insisted on only adding a sip of syrup to the already half-drunk shakes. After that, of course, there was far too much syrup in proportion, and it tasted even worse than before.

I got a cold burger, and when I asked about it, all I got was "The burger was freshly made." Pretty unfriendly.

The restaurant itself was clean, but I was very surprised that not a single employee wore gloves. I would have expected stricter hygiene standards, especially in Germany. It's hard to believe that something like this is allowed here. The food was okay, but the sight of my unprotected hands preparing it spoiled my appetite. I will think carefully about whether I would like to eat there again in the future.

The manager with the white beard was very arrogant, NEVER AGAIN IN THIS RESTAURANT.

It was our first time at Burger King and we stood in front of the machine looking stupid. I wanted a normal chicken crisp, but when something like salad, sauce, etc. comes along, it creates a mess. Isn't everything already there, for almost 7 euros? We then left it and went back. This works much better with McDonald.

I ordered two menu items but when I checked them they were wrong. That's why I immediately went to the checkout to clarify the problem. There I encountered a very rude employee who spoke to me in an inappropriate manner, even though the fault was his. I suspect he was in a senior position because he was wearing a different shirt. I don't understand why he isn't fired as I've already heard from many that he often speaks rudely and disrespectfully to customers.

Just go to a restaurant where they have real food

So the burgers are ok. But the King Fusion for almost 4 euros, only 1/4 full, is really a disgrace. Ordered 2 today and was really upset about them. There are branches there where it's full to capacity!!! CUP HAS BECOME SMALLER PRICE HIGH. But then not even half full???? Doesn't work at all

Would like churros with Daim. I got "wobbly" churros without anything, unfortunately it was to take away and I only noticed that there was nothing on it on the highway. Very disappointing.

The employee at the checkout was rude and mean. I was there the same day I wrote this comment and 10 minutes before this comment was posted.

Update: After the renovation, the branch is much more attractive! Only the staff remained bad. Please train the employees that it is extremely unfortunate to put the portion of fries in the bag first and then pile the burgers on top of the fries several minutes later. Result - cold and soggy fries. It's back to the competition whose employees have the basics down pat!

Burger King offers delicious flame-grilled burgers with great variety. The menu offer is always a hit, and the sides like fries and onion rings are tasty. Service is good, but overall, satisfying meal. Great for fast food fans! Checkout their app and get lots of discount and coupons. Enjoy

Friendly German-speaking service. Modern, quiet atmosphere.

I ordered a menu for €11, the drink was wrong and my two burgers, the only thing that was right were the fries. Unfortunately, I rejected the receipt and was therefore no longer able to exchange it.

Unfortunately the quality wasn't as usual. The staff was friendly, the burgers were too dry and sometimes too cold. I'm used to better things from Burger King.

Service very unfriendly and ungrateful. Mcdrive was more important than the cash register and guests. Forgot sauces.

The burgers are swapped around very often. Swapping for the right burger was uncomplicated (one star for that) but didn't really give the impression that anyone was sorry. The toilet smells awful and when you wash your hands you get wet from top to bottom.

We wanted to redeem a voucher using the voucher number/PLU number. Unfortunately it is not accepted here. No problem in Grone.

It was super cold there. There is no coffee. Generally rather uncomfortable.

My rating for Burger King and Co is always negative because I don't like these conveyor belt foods at all. Coffee from a paper cup just doesn't taste good. My wife ordered fries. They are packed in a bag and are already lukewarm when they reach the counter.

The service is super friendly whether in the drive-in or in the restaurant. The burgers are always hot even at peak times. As usual at Burger King, a short time later I go into the sofa phase and enjoy the nap. All you can say is bon appetit

The place was tidy, the staff friendly, and the order prompt. Everything was fresh and hot.

It's Burger King, it's fast food. But the store really just isn't good. The employees are very cozy. The food is often not even properly thawed… without words. The prices are abnormal… so just NO!

Here you can sit in peace and eat the menu(s). The ambience is in need of improvement, but this is compensated for by the friendly staff. And the ice cream is great with the appropriate sauce!!

I ordered a plant based chicken burger, bit into the burger and wondered why it tasted so different. It was a chicken burger. Since I live vegan, it was a shock at first, especially since I had lost all trust in Burger King. I don't think it's too much to ask to distinguish between nuggets with and without parsley. Because Burger King has already specifically identified the vegan ones. For my part, I have lost all trust. Such mistakes are really serious, from a religious and ethnic perspective.

Hello, I wanted to share my experience today with Burger King in Weende near Tegut. I've always really liked the store, it's clean, newly renovated and actually had nice staff. I used to go there twice a week in the past, but today's action shocked me. I was there today with friends and we wanted to have dinner here. When the first friend went to the terminal to pay, the shift manager who collected it said: "To take away, right?", the friend said no, we want to eat here, then the shift manager said that wasn't possible because his friends (meaning was probably me) were banned from the house here. The friend came to me and another friend and told us what the shift manager meant. Me and the other friend went to the counter and asked the shift manager who should be banned from the house, since we weren't banned from the house. The shift manager replied in a very rough, inappropriate tone that we knew that, that he had banned us from the house and that we were no longer allowed to eat here. This was new to us, we had never been banned from the house and asked him why we should be banned from the house. He answered again in a harsh, inappropriate tone that we should know and that if we asked further he would give us a written ban from all Burger King branches in Göttingen. He said it was nice that we were still allowed to order. We were very shocked by this and didn't let up. After all, we wanted to know why we were supposedly banned from the house. I still don't know why I should be banned from the house. Maybe I'm being confused, but I find the situation extremely strange and I think it's a real shame because Burger King was really my number 1 choice for fast food in Göttingen. Too bad…!!!

Best Burger King in Göttingen, always clean and tasty food & nice employees

Last visit to this branch. Recommend the restaurant at Kaufpark. Service very unfriendly. Ordered and paid for fries with extra sauce and extra jalapenos, but unfortunately only got a normal portion. The fries were also in the deep fryer for far too long. No fork in the bag. When asked, there was a stroppy, unfriendly answer. We always order this dish and it has never been so poor/bad. That was a completely normal amount. The vegetarian burger was also not of the usual quality. And dealing with friendly customers is not possible at all. I praise the restaurant at Kaufpark.

My coupon was not recognized. The employee told me this very bluntly ("I work here, if it isn't recognized it won't be recognized.") and left me there. Even after restarting the app several times, the code was not recognized. The employee then said that the cash register was broken. But he didn't want to scan it at the other 1m further. I should (I was on foot) go through the MCDrive. The situation could have been, or should have been, explained a lot more politely. Due to the employee's arrogant behavior (the code doesn't work the first time, he makes me feel stupid and leaves) I then went to the competitor with the M. It's a shame that it's the franchise owner and not the employee who loses the money. 5/1/24 3:40 p.m

Burger King kept its promise of eating there. I just found the staff uninterested and not very friendly. A smile wouldn't have killed the young lady.

Large coffee for almost €4 and then only a 0.33l cup 😕. There is no fresh milk, only coffee cream in plastic packaging. Lots of unnecessary packaging waste...

Burger King branch is very clean and the staff is courteous. Food was ready quickly.

Update 03/2024 The branch was brought up to date and staff was also replaced. There are now 4 order terminals. Payback points are only tracked and occur within 3 days. The ambience has become much brighter. Receipts are never given voluntarily, only after repeated inquiries/reminders. Payback points credit usually doesn't work. They are not the quickest to prepare

If you want to eat quickly, it's very good and you don't need an AP. Disabled parking spaces are also there like the entrance but it was today 02/28/24 because you can get it at the checkout. No menu only at the machine and only pay with the card. Only pay in cash, thank you

A new review after the renovation. I'm a regular customer because it's the quickest way to eat there during my lunch break. Today I was amazed. The human order was rejected by the employee because it was too busy. A terminal that only wanted to recognize my coupon on the second attempt, which was the first problem in operating this terminal. The Payback card was not even recognized. And to top it off, I waited just over 15 minutes for my order. This has never happened there before! I'm sorry, even a "thank you for your patience" isn't enough for me. I want to order from people again, even if they're not always in the best mood when they're stressed. Now I'll probably have to spend my break somewhere else. It's a shame, new isn't always good.

Food was great but tables could have been wiped down more often and there was some leftover food on the floor

Was at Burger King today and was disappointed by the size of the citizens. The paddy wasn't even as big as the bun. The burger was lukewarm and so were the fries.

Were in the store today around 2 p.m., the woman at the order acceptance desk was very difficult to understand spoke very quietly and barely understood oneself. The things I ordered were a touch warm, so I went back to order them to make them again. Another meat patty was taken out of the heat, a cold slice of cheese was placed on it and the lid was then put on it, of course this citizen was cold again. The staff couldn't keep up with the few orders and the table didn't look great either. You could also clean it every now and then!

I've always only occasionally considered fast food restaurants because of the kids, but since chicken wings and breakfast are no longer available, Burger King has given me even less reason to visit. In the past, I could at least warm up to a Whopper because of the grilled taste that the competition lacks. But with these things you can only taste the ketchup and the pickle at best, the beef patty is completely tasteless. Even the chili cheese nuggets only taste like frying fat. At least I still have ice cream and cola and the staff is always very friendly and the armchairs are comfortable.

Very tasty hamburgers and fries

Cold stall, cold burgers…..and the next stall and it is currently being renovated. In retrospect, I have the feeling that the last burgers were sold off so that there was no need to throw them away. Also no mention of the final sale... Yes, now it makes sense that there were already stainless steel kitchen appliances on pallets in the dining room!!!

Eigentlich "null" Sternchen! In der Kidsbox waren anstelle von Chicken Nuggets, Chilli-Cheese Nuggets drin. Das Spielzeug hat auch gefehlt! Echt fies!!! So oft gibt es Fastfood bei uns nicht, und umso größer war die Enttäuschung unserer kleinen Maus als sie zuhause voller Freude ihre Box geöffnet, und den Inhalt gesehen hat... Also ab jetzt auch den Inhalt der Kidsbox kontrollieren, ob drinnen ist wofür man bezahlt hat (!?) bevor man da raus geht....oder besser gar nicht mehr hin gehen!!! Null-Nummer...

Waren alle ser nett der und freuntlich zu einem.

Schön wäre auch gewesen einen Paddy auf dem Cheeseburger zu haben...leider nicht das erste Mal kein "Fleisch" bekommen zu haben.

Essen war gut , bis auf die Pommes die waren nicht frisch und ohne Salz.

Sehr sauberer Burgerking. Essen gut und frisch zubereitet. An der Kasse freundlich abgearbeitet inklusive ein paar Späße. Toilette sehr sauber. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Sehr langsamer Service, kennen ihre eigenen Menüs nicht und man muss schon gut aufpassen, alles zu bekommen, wofür man bezahlt hat. Traurig wie ich finde. Viel Luft nach oben.

Schade, dass die Werbetafeln nicht alle funktionieren.
