I go to McDonald's once a year and because of pressure from friends. I won't comment on it. I will never enter this restaurant again.

The McDonald's in Schiffenberger Tal proved once again during today's prime time that not even a free McRip is worth getting. And apparently, counting to two for fries is already a challenge for them. I'm not sure if the dispenser indicates when it's empty, but when I order a Coke and get a tasteless still water, it's just infuriating that I wasted my time on it. With such a large international company, which doesn't exactly have the best reputation in the industry anyway, I personally expect at least the basics to be right. Best regards, have a good evening, I'm going to toss that McRip in the trash now.

3 times a year with grandchildren is enough.

Part of my order was missing. I ordered four Happy Meals. One with a coupon included a cheeseburger and nuggets with fries, two nuggets with fries, and one cheeseburger with salad. I got two cheeseburgers, two nuggets, and three fries. One order was missing nuggets and salad. Unfortunately, the staff in front of me didn't speak German to each other—I find that quite rude.

Normally not a star, absolutely not to be recommended. It looks like it hasn't been cleaned in months. The food is uneatable; it's cold and sometimes undercooked. The restrooms are best left unmentioned; they're simply a health hazard... All I can say is, don't go there. I got stomach problems after about an hour. The staff are very unfriendly and rude.

I was cheated out of 12.89 euros – they only gave me a burger.

So every time I'm there, there are problems with the order, even though it's usually just one thing...

It couldn't be worse. These fast-food chains should be shut down forever. The food is getting more and more disgusting and tastes absolutely disgusting. The hygiene here is abysmal and borders on physical assault. Anyone who still spends their money on this crap has only themselves to blame. Extremely unfriendly boss. He insults customers just because they have a question he's asked frequently. He turns the entire restaurant against us. He's an old man with a flabby belly. He barely has any hair on his head. People like that should be fired immediately!

Great McDonald's! The staff were friendly, the food was hot, and the burgers were delicious. One of the better McDonald's branches.

I ordered a chocolate milkshake with friends. What did we get? Strawberry, exactly. We spoke to the employees and they gave us a new one. It was strawberry again, but this time it looked pretty moldy. We went to McDonald's a couple of times and were ignored for about 10 minutes. They walked past us, spoke to us, and didn't respond, just skillfully ignored. Truly a complete disgrace. Paid 4.79 for nothing! Rude staff to the max!

I ate the fries, and when they dissolved in my mouth, I realized how bad the fries at MCs had become... You bite into the fries, and it feels like you're biting into cotton wool. The fries have, at best, four grains of salt. Also, the fries feel like just powder mixed with water. When you let the fries melt on your tongue, you can taste the oil; it tastes like stale oil... Overall, the worst fries in the world. The fries used to be nice and crispy, seasoned, and didn't taste like powder.

A disaster, don't order from here! Edit: That was 7 years ago, and things have gone downhill ever since. Today my girlfriend picked up an order, which is why I have to correct the review. The man at the counter was extremely unfriendly, even though the order and payment had already been made online; he just had to hand out the bags. They checked to see if everything was there and then sent me home. When I got home, I realized that instead of a milkshake, there was an iced tea in the cup. The curly fries came in a small bag – no Monopoly stickers. The drinks didn't have stickers either, although they do give them in the restaurant. The McFlurry was also a joke – so little Oreo, as if they had accidentally poured something over it, and the chocolate sauce was just barely visible at the bottom. I felt really cheated.

For the past few weeks, it's been taking an unreasonably long time to receive your order, regardless of whether you ordered takeout or dine-in. Today: the fries were already quite cold, as were the chicken nuggets. I'm a frequent visitor here, but I'm considering not coming here anymore.

-1* It was really, really dirty there when we wanted to eat yesterday. There was still trash on almost every table outside, and the tables and seats were sticky, covered in crumbs, and very dirty. We were hungry and wanted to chat a bit. And we felt very uncomfortable. Not a single table was clean, the order was wrong, and it seemed chaotic. No comparison to the McDonald's in Asslar! What a shame!

I've been there several times and I'm always annoyed at how slow the store and the drive-thru are. The staff there isn't great, and I have no idea how they can be so bad. 🤷‍♂️

We ordered three iced coffee shakes via the ordering screens. Only, none of them contained coffee. There were only three vanilla shakes with cream. I tried to complain. I showed the receipt, which said "coffee shakes," as well as the three shakes, which were clearly white, meaning they had no coffee in them. After some discussion, the waitress simply said that they didn't have any coffee shakes. But she didn't think to tell us that right from the start (instead of just giving us something we didn't order and hoping we wouldn't notice), or at least give us our money back. So we paid almost €15 (!!!) for something we didn't order and which had absolutely nothing to do with coffee.

The staff were polite and the food felt normal but now I have a bad stomach and can't sleep. Next time I'd better not get anything from that juice shop.

Visited the store here in Schiffenberger Tal today and was unfortunately very disappointed. Ordered food to be taken to the table for 25 euros. It arrived pretty quickly. Unfortunately a burger was missing, the fries were cold (I complained, unfortunately to no avail), and there were no sauces either. The floor in the restaurant looks pretty dirty (fries in the corners, balloons under the seats, our table greasy). The server (table service) stood bored next to the counter and made stupid comments when I asked her about the deficiencies. This will be my last visit to this location.

Well, it annoys me when employees can't speak German properly. I live in Germany and expect the people I'm talking to to understand and speak German properly. If not, it's extremely annoying.

This place is nice and clean. Today it’s busy, but I have some comments: the place where you wash things and keep trash bins in front of the cashier was open and there are somethings which should not appear. The second thing the place is hot today.. there are many customers but the branch is hot.

I ordered the plant-based nuggets for the second time this year – and again received real meat. Despite the green "plant-based" sticker on the packaging! When I complained about this, the employees didn't take me seriously, treated me unfriendly, and even lied to me: They tried to convince me it wasn't meat. An apology? None. Instead, I was handed four new nuggets without comment, while my original portion was ripped out of my hand and simply thrown in the trash. Particularly shocking: The exact same thing happened to my companion – even though we ordered separately. This isn't an isolated incident, but a clear indication of a lack of care and respect for customers – especially people who consciously eat meat-free. I feel deceived and made fun of. This kind of behavior is unacceptable. 1 star because 0 isn't possible. I will definitely never visit this location again. Attention everyone: Please check your orders carefully – don't be fooled!

Unfortunately, my last visit to McDonald's was very disappointing. The employee at the checkout was loud and rude – treating customers with respect should be a given. Furthermore, most of the staff spoke little or no German, which caused further difficulties when there were issues with the ordering machine. Overall, it wasn't a pleasant experience.

Oh oh, what was going on here on May 22, 2025?! We waited 1.5 hours for our order. It wasn't just us who were waiting, but all the guests/customers! The burgers and fries were cold. Unfortunately, disappointing; the team was overwhelmed.

The only thing that can be credited to this branch is that the management seems unafraid of questionable or even foolhardy personnel decisions. This circumstance is particularly reflected in the choice of manager, who seems to have found his professional purpose in ignoring every legitimate complaint and—at least judging by his manner—sees his role more like that of a doorman. After an employee at the drive-thru counter exhausted his capacity in taking various orders to no avail, the settlement turned out to be considerably less problematic. Instead of the requested payment, the amount of the order already deducted from the bank account was consistently followed by a simple denial of the same order, which even showing the bill and payment did not change. The manager just as vehemently rejected my demand to receive the order upon my payment. In order to get my money back, I was ultimately forced to contact the relevant payment service provider myself. The food itself could be rightly criticized; However, since a visit to McDonald's is less a serious culinary matter than a matter of personal responsibility for endangering oneself, any judgments about quality are unnecessary.

Yes, highly recommended, especially with kids who love McDonald's. And I do too.😜

Apart from the long waiting times and the unfriendly staff, a visit from the health department would be appropriate.

I was there yesterday and ate a Big Tasty Bacon. I've been in bed since this afternoon, feeling nauseous and throwing up. I haven't eaten anything else since. The fries were cold and limp, and the hamburger was just kind of mushy.

Received the wrong order. No replacement delivery. Had to go back myself.

Waited almost an hour for the food.

The saddest, worst side salad I've ever had. A few dry leaves from a bag with a cigar stalk inside and two slices of cucumber. Counts as a full salad at McD's. The burger—here, a Royal TS—is a bad joke in itself, and it costs €6. The cheapest kebab around the corner is of higher quality than the chemical-based junk McD's offers.

During yesterday's visit, there were a lot of leftover food, napkins, and unidentifiable items lying around on the floor. One bench was wet, others were sticky. The table was still smeared with previous guests' menus. The men's restroom was 🤢 It's a shame that guests don't always keep everything as clean as possible for subsequent guests 😒 Stopping here later in the evening certainly wasn't the best decision. It might be different during the day...

The women's restrooms were unfortunately dirty. The others were OK.

Unfortunately, the delivery was incorrect on the second attempt. One burger was completely missing and the M had a lot of cheese on it, despite the cheese that was ordered. It's stupid if you don't eat cheese. Taking burgers apart at the drive in is rather impractical and driving another 20km to complain is also stupid. What a shame!

Although there wasn't much going on, we waited 30 minutes for food. Royal TS and Big Mac ice cold. Ice cream was forgotten in the junior bag. Instead of strawberry milkshake, vanilla was given. If you order a takeaway meal here and choose a second side dish, you can be pretty sure that you will only get one side dish in the end, but will pay for two side dishes. Unfortunately this has happened many times...

The drive in here is a complete disaster! Unfortunately, I use this more often due to work and NEVER has an order gone smoothly. I've now thought about it five times whether I should try it again. Never had any problems here so far. Food always comes quickly and the staff is friendly or neutral. And yes, working people can also be neutral and not be super friendly. I like it so much better!

The good thing was that my fries and nuggets were warm, but that was the only good thing. Our Big Tasty was ice cold and my ice cubes were already melted. The waiting time was 25 minutes.

Ordered via app. Wanted to eat in the store. Asked for help 3 times at the checkout because you can only order at the terminals. 3 times no help came. Even customers couldn't help me. Then we drove again. Impossible there.

Almost all of the employees don't speak German and don't understand their own cash register. After 10 minutes at the checkout you still haven't managed to enter the order into the cash register system, unfortunately a disgrace for this store. Communication absolutely impossible.

Be sure to check your orders at the drive-thru! This is the second time that the employees have not been able to send out the order correctly and completely. Unfortunately, I only noticed it at home both times. In my opinion this is done on purpose because they may want to save on ingredients. I can't explain it any other way, why they serve a completely different burger on a small menu. That doesn't work at all! If this doesn't work for small orders, I very much doubt that they will take larger orders seriously.

Finally fix the faucet in the men's room... it's been loose for months. And a hand dryer like at KFC (next door) would be desirable (stainless steel, open). Nobody uses the existing siff part 🤮

Service is incredibly terrible and it's already not the first time. You order online, pay €32.86, come there, go to the checkout with the number and then after half an hour you realize that the order has been lost. After searching and stressing, you get the take-away order on two trays and have to pack the whole thing yourself. And when you are finally home and ready to eat after all the effort, you realize that it is 3х sweet and sour sauce 2x sour cream chive dip 1x orange juice 1x regular cappuccino (for rewards) 1x ketchup miss. What should you eat the chicken nuggets with or dab curly potatoes in them? It's terrible. You don't have fun with it. And no one even heard an apology for the whole thing. The prices have increased by half, but the service has become 50% crueler.

When we visited shortly after Christmas, we were very dissatisfied with the hygiene conditions. The floor and tables were very dirty and the faucet in the men's toilet didn't work.

Ordered a box of planted nuggets and received a box in which the planted nuggets were mixed with chicken nuggets. You can tell directly from the texture. Absolutely disgusting, the authorities should carry out an inspection here.

Just ordered for €50. Nice staff, but unfortunately there was the wrong dressing on the wraps and 2 cheeseburgers were missing. It took forever until the payment process started. The product I ordered came suspiciously quickly. I knew why right away. It was still cold and the wrap was limp. Definitely never again. This is a rip-off to the power of 10.

The gentleman at the Mc Drive counter was visibly annoyed by our order. Even though everything was written correctly on the receipt, instead of 2 spicy chicken nuggets we got 1 vegetarian one. Mayonnaise was also only one of 2 ordered. The fries were cold. It's no longer worth stopping there.

Good McDonalds close to the highway, staff OK, relatively clean. I got normal nuggets instead of spicy nuggets and the employee didn't apologize when they exchanged them and simply threw the old ones away (could they have offered us?) and handed them new ones without comment.

WORST MC DONALDS EVER! DO NOT ORDER COFFEE!!!! I ordered a latte macchiato for €6.99, it only tasted like water and was way too hot! I burned myself!!! An older gentleman with glasses, short, old and corpulent with a bad mood refused to give me my money back! He produced the same broth again and what can I say, the first coffee was scary as if it was Halloween already 🎃 🎃 I also noticed how the employee was asked by one of the gentlemen whether the coffee machine wasn't working again... A few reviews below, customers with their own problem = coffee too hot and something is wrong! P.S. Order came with wrong contents by the way🤣 normal fries instead of lattice potatoes. At least they managed to get a chicken burger patty between two slices of bread without packing everything. Rest FAIL

You sometimes wait 15 minutes in the mcdrive even though there is only one car on board

We wanted to have breakfast. Among other things, we ordered two cappucinos. While we were waiting in the restaurant, we heard from the counter that something wasn't working and about changing things or getting our money back. I noticed that the coffee machine wasn't working. Customers at the machine were told not to order anything. So we waited forever. When the “cappucino” came I asked what it was. The employee played stupid. I explained to him what I had heard. He said that our order still worked. Yeah yeah. I then burned my tongue because the “cappucino” was so hot. It was just coffee with some milk. It wouldn't have been a problem if the situation had been explained to us straight away. But lying is not possible. I should have thrown that stuff in his face.
