McDonald's in Gießen

The McDonald's is closed and won't be reopening. What a shame, it was a waste of time.

So, guys, if you ever want to eat a truly awful cheeseburger, then I recommend this McDonald's branch. If I hadn't ordered it to go and I was already on the highway, I would have turned around and gone back. The bun was so dried out and practically crispy 😡 It had definitely been sitting in the warming tray for ages and they were apparently just waiting for someone to order takeout so they could get rid of it. Over €5 for a piece of junk – the most outrageous rip-off ever!

Very long waiting times, mini menu to choose from. I can't recommend anyone

Extremely dirty and unkempt store. The drink pump has been broken for weeks. Coke and other drinks are poured from plastic bottles. Often, the waiters barely speak German. The food selection is very limited. No ordering terminal. Everything that defines McDonald's is missing here.

Um, yeah... well, we were a bit speechless. We were looking for a quick lunch (2 p.m.) while passing through. We used the McDonald's app to find a coupon and off we went to this McDonald's. We drove past it three times. Finally, we were disappointed. I think we were in the smallest McDonald's, and the oldest in Germany. They have five or six burgers to choose from, along with fries and, er, nuggets... That was it... Sprite was out. They only served Coke and Fanta, okay. Apparently, it came from regular bottles and not from a vending machine (which would explain why some of them didn't have any carbonation). The staff were friendly, and we think they were making the best of their situation. Nevertheless, they were hard to understand (okay, that's pretty standard at McDonald's these days). There were exactly two decent benches (each for four slim people) and I think six or eight seats at a bar table (although if someone had been sitting there, no one would have been able to get through). Somehow it was all strange and different.

There is a code in every cup that you can redeem. The guy took them all and we got Coke without codes.

This McDonald's is a disappointment in my opinion. If you come with coupons, they either say "we don't have that burger" or the coupon is invalid and the answer is simply "well, I can't do anything about that." The Coke is not carbonated and there is no friendliness at all. It seems more like you are being stressed out. It was my first time in this McDonald's and also the last.

Food cold....one burger wasn't even handed out...unfortunately realized too late...unfriendly...never again

Unfortunately, my last visit to McDonald's was a big disappointment and did not live up to my expectations of the world-famous fast food chain. As soon as I entered the restaurant I noticed the lack of cleanliness. The tables weren't cleared, the floor was dirty, and the garbage containers were overflowing. The entire atmosphere seemed unkempt and uninviting. The service also left a lot to be desired. The staff seemed unmotivated and not attentive. My order was taken incorrectly several times and the staff seemed annoyed when I pointed this out to them. Despite low customer frequency, the waiting time was unusually long, which increased the dissatisfaction. The meal itself was a bitter disappointment. The fries were cold and soggy, and the burger seemed carelessly put together. The ingredients didn't seem fresh and the taste was far removed from what I'm used to from McDonald's. Dispensing drinks was also problematic - my drink was watered down and barely edible. Overall, my visit to McDonald's was a disappointing experience. The lack of cleanliness, unfriendly service and poor quality of food resulted in a completely unsatisfactory experience. I hope this was an exception, but unfortunately based on this visit I can only give it 1 out of 5 stars.

Small, fine McDonalds. The staff is friendly and quick. The preparation was fresh and the burgers were hot (you don't actually know that 😉).

We ordered two meals yesterday and we've both been feeling very sick ever since.

Employees are overwhelmed. Drinks taste terrible, we had Coke Zero and Sprite. Both drinks are p...warm and not carbonated. The fries feel like they've been fried 5 times, they're bone hard and the cheeseburgers have become smaller. Tables and benches are dingy. We will never eat here again.

Here, scanning coupons sometimes works for one employee, then suddenly it no longer works for the other employee or it is broken. very credible and aimed at sales, I noticed that the Landen will probably be closing completely shortly, no wonder given the service.

Terrible! We wanted to eat on site, but the tables/benches were almost, without exaggeration, covered in a layer of dirt. The employees are totally overwhelmed and sometimes leave the cash register alone to go and have a smoke. I highly doubt whether any kind of hygiene was maintained. In addition, there is only a minimal selection You could actually save yourself this store!

The lady at the checkout was extremely unfriendly. She really pissed us off because we didn't order as quickly as she would have liked. She was probably totally annoyed. The good woman missed her job. We will certainly never want to buy anything there again. Keyword: shortage of skilled workers: it's better to have no staff at all than to have one that drives away customers. I still wish the unfriendly lady a nice weekend. Why? Because I can. Maybe this review will also reach the branch operator...

One star is still too many! We just got ice cream there, I've never had anything like that before and I asked myself where the milk was.... They were frozen pieces of water and cleanliness is very important here. I'll never buy anything there again.

Wir waren heute das erste und letzte Mal hier. Es ist kein Stern wert. Haben uns 2 Menüs bestellt. Die Pommes sind so fest und schmecken nur nach Fett, Chicken Nuggets genau das gleiche schmecken wie 5 mal warm gemacht und die Sprite eher nur nach purem Sirup. Der Cheeseburger war schlimmer wie Kaugummi. Dreckig der Laden und das Personal versteht kein Meter Deutsch. Kann ich nicht weiter empfehlen

Dreckig, voller Fliegen, die Verpackungen der Pommes haben vor Fett nur so vor sich hin getropft, keine Produktauswahl, weil der zuständige wahrscheinlich nicht fähig ist eine korrekte Beschaffung durchzuführen. Nicht zu empfehlen.

Essen, na ja. Service könnte freundlicher sein. Ambiente spartanisch

Mini MC Donalds hat ewig gedauert .die Bedienung ohne Lust .nun ja so ist das Leben ....

Schnell und lecker.Aber wenig Platz zu chillen

Sehr kleiner Mc Donalds im Westoria. Ist meistens wenig los und es geht schnell. Die Ware wird immer frisch zubereitet, weil so wenig los ist.

Mc Donals in Gießen In Gießen gibt es viele MC Donalds Filialen aber dieser hier ist leider der kleinste, dreckigste und zudem noch schlechteste Laden! Personal ist leider nicht das beste, auch wenn sich bemüht wird läuft hinter der Theke vieles falsch. Das Ambiente ist aufgrund von verschiedenen Verschmutzungen echt nicht toll und generell ist der Laden etwas Trsurig eingerichtet. Von einem angenehmen Sitzplatz kann man da leider nicht wirklich reden. Es gibt zwar Sitzplätze allerdings sind diese in der Regel eine Zumutung dank fehlender Reinigung und wahrscheinlich zusätzlichem Personalmangel. Geht woanders hin, aber nicht hier!

Es war alles sehr angenehm, wenn es auch ein sehr kleines Restaurant ist.

Kleiner Mäckes neben dem Saturn Markt. Tut was er soll und das auch vollkommen gut.

Kleiner Basic MC Donalds aber freundliches Personal und frische Burger, was kann man mehr erwarten?

Leider sind die Mitarbeiter hier nicht freundlich genug.

Bestellung ging schnell, aber das Essen war kalt. Außerdem gibt es hier keine aktionsburger! Nur das Standardangebot!

Gibt keine Hähnchenbox und der Essbereich war einfach ohne Begründung geschlossen! Speisen dafür gut warm!

Das Essen hat geschmeckt, daher 2 Sterne. Jedoch trug der Mitarbeiter beim Zubereiten keinen Mundschutz und keine Handschuhe und hat sich darüber hinaus noch mit einer Kollegin eifrig unterhalten. In der aktuellen Lage erst recht ein No-Go.

Wie jeder McDonald's, halt in klein deswegen nicht so viel Auswahl

Sehr sehr klein, meistens nur zwei Angestellte vor Ort entsprechend lang sind die Wartezeiten. Häufig sind alle Sitzplätze belegt und man ist gezwungen das Essen mitzunehmen. Das Essen ist wie in jedem anderen MC Donalds auch.

Unordentlich. Speisen werden zu lange warm gehalten und schmecken dementsprechend schlecht... Bedienung ist sehr freundlich, daher 2 Trostpunkte

Kleiner MC Donalds, aber sehr nettes Personal und sehr schön heiße Burger und Pommes.. habe ich oft schon viel schlechter erlebt.

Inkompetentes Team. Für einen Kaffee brauchen die 5 Minuten ohne dass jmd anderes da ist und bestellt hat.

Alles bestens gern wieder essen da nen snack

Zwar ist das Personal freundlich und gibt sich mühe ... allerdings ist es dort sehr ungeplant und chaotisch.. sobald mehr als 3 Personen bestellen wird die erste Bestellung halb vergessen so das man mal 10-15 min warten muss bis man 3 Kaffees bekommt.. Ansonsten ist der laden ok

Kleine Filiale mit dem typischen Sortiment der Fastfood-Kette. Das bestellte Essen wurde frisch zubereitet, so dass eine kurze, aber vertretbare Wartezeit entstand, aber dafür es angenehm heiß. Die Kommunikation hingegen beschränkte sich auf den für den Vorgang absolut nötigsten Informationsaustausch, mein Wunsch nach Kartenzahlung wurde mit einem recht unfreundlichen "da drüben" und entsprechender Bewegung quittiert, klappte dann aber reibungslos.

Klein und fein! Freundliches Personal und frisches Essen. Liegt etwas außerhalb vom Gießen, aber mit dem Auto gar kein Problem und leicht zu erreichen. Find ich gut den Laden. Ist direkt beim Einkaufszentrum real, Saturn und alles andere...

Eine Kleinigkeit für Zwischendurch kann nach dem Einkaufen nicht schaden;-)
