Phew, the burgers are okay. But the place is filthy, disgusting. The tables were all dirty. I don't ask for gold plates, but the tables should definitely be wiped down. The floor is sticky, the upholstery is ripped. There are nicer places than this one.

I've rarely experienced such a bad Burger King experience. Long wait times despite the restaurant being empty. No offer to have your food delivered to your table. You can really feel how little the employees care about their workstations; the owner should ask what motivates them. There's sticky trash in front of the counter, it's dirty everywhere, and trash piles up. The fries are cold, but the Coke is warm. The burger was good and fresh, and it deserves two stars.

We ordered from there today via Lieferando. The food is already 45 minutes late. We've tried calling the restaurant at least 30 times, but no one answers the phone. This is definitely the last time we order from there. I'm curious if our food will even arrive...

A short, elderly delivery man with glasses intentionally delivers food late. Order placed at 11:24 AM, and the order was handed over to the delivery man at 11:51 AM. He arrived at my place at 1:30 PM, but only after I called the store. Unfortunately, he's done this several times before. It's as if he's intentionally letting the food get cold.

It was delicious and the service was friendly.

We ordered food to the hospital. 1. The food never arrived. 2. After we left to pick it up ourselves, the delivery driver called to say he was there. We had to search for him because he was parked somewhere completely different. 3. He only had drinks. 4. We've been standing here at Burger King for 25 minutes and still haven't received any food.

The food is just as good as any other Burger King. The staff, however, is slow and unfriendly... I waited 10 minutes at the drive-thru, even though there was only one person in front of me, and my food was still cold... Not a particularly nice atmosphere, nor were the people there interesting. As a woman, I wouldn't necessarily go there alone at night, but maybe I was just having a bad day... So, in summary, it's okay for a Burger King, but there are definitely better ones.

The store is no longer comparable to the good old days. It now looks unsightly, with dirty and worn furniture. The lady behind the counter was unintelligible, so she called a colleague because I didn't know what she wanted. The fries were cold, the Whopper was okay. With an outside temperature of 25 degrees Celsius, it was probably 35 degrees Celsius inside. The air conditioning is broken, as was the case a while ago! Unbearable! There were only a few people in the store, nothing going on. Definitely my last visit there; I'd rather head to the other two branches in Gießen and Linden!

So if you want to eat inside, you'll sweat to death, and if you want to eat outside, you, as a customer, have to clean the table first! It was beyond unhygienic and very dirty. We wanted to sit there with children, in such an unclean place. Inside, on the other hand, it was clean, there was really nothing to complain about. So we won't be coming back!

This branch hasn't changed in terms of appearance or technology in 25 years. It's a bit dated and rundown, sometimes dingy, and the furniture is broken. Rooms aren't air-conditioned at temperatures exceeding 35°C. The staff has to endure this for an entire workday; after 20 minutes, we were completely overheated and extremely annoyed, so we "fled" to our air-conditioned car. It's a miracle that the staff is still friendly to customers and competent under such working conditions. My respect for the employees. There was nothing wrong with the food. My personal conclusion: for the sake of its customers and employees, Burger King should consider installing air conditioning and completely renovating the entire interior.

Just terrible, and I'm not in the mood for this anymore... Hot drinks, no air conditioning... The staff can't keep up, and the fries weren't salted either. You'd expect that for that much money, you'd at least get some fizz in your drinks. Thanks for that... At least the place is kept clean...

No terminals, huge lines, and the waitresses take their time. After waiting 15 minutes without taking my order, I left! Fast food, I'm not laughing.

So, the service was very good, even though the lovely lady was serving everyone all by herself at 8 p.m. without any help. It's unacceptable that one person is running the place alone. That lady should definitely get a raise!

At 35 degrees Celsius, there's no air conditioning. Even the milkshake was only a bit cold. The floor is sticky by the restrooms, and it feels like there's only one employee for the entire store, and one who sweeps all day even though there are hardly any customers anyway.

So on Sunday evenings when there is little business you just wait forever in the drive-in and you hardly understand the service

We drove there yesterday from Wetzlar. Things have gotten much worse. It was sweltering in the building. They're skimping on ventilation. There was nothing going on. We left the Burger King because we couldn't breathe.

Well, let me put it this way: I'm actually a regular delivery customer, but honestly, I'm sick of it anymore!! The best burgers never answer the phone because they can't handle criticism!! The fries are almost never seasoned, so I might as well stuff a raw potato into them, and then they'll be cold and limp like a 90-year-old grandpa 🤦🏽‍♀️ The burgers look like they invented some kind of burger darts 🎯 game. I have no idea what topping them with. Then someone wanted to be funny and stapled the ketchup packets 🤦🏽‍♀️ It couldn't be any more stupid, and on top of that, the last time they delivered the wrong nuggets because no one wanted to answer the phone (maybe they'll respond to carrier pigeons, we'll see) 🙄 I had to order again so they could deliver the right food, and then I pressed the cash button, and when he came, he was shocked when I handed him the old food and said I wasn't paying!! No, these aren't meant to be lame jokes, this is reality, folks 🤷🏽‍♀️🫱🏽‍🫲🏼 You might be under pressure and things can be hectic, but just relax and make the food right instead of doing things wrong every time. The air conditioning works but won't turn on. There's barely any air inside to breathe. It's a real disgrace.

Ever since I first went to Burger King at the US barracks in Giessen, I've loved it. Starting today, I won't go to Burger King Giessen again. 10:30 a.m., the entrance and exit doors are smeared, the floor is sticky, the tables are disgustingly dirty, and the video "Apply for an apprenticeship at Burger King" is playing on the in-house TV. The employee behind the counter was incredibly professional and hospitable. The food was hot, and the employee even brought it to my table. Apparently, Burger King has a problem with its cleaning products. I'm firmly convinced that Burger King has entirely different problems. A checkout just for Uber Eats. This clearly signals to the customer that we don't want to serve you, we're not a host, we just want to heat up food. I'll spare you the photos.

The delivery is always super fast and the delivery people are always very friendly

Not including the time it took me to place my order. What a place. This was really the very last time I'll be here. Last year, rats were still running past the tables outside. There weren't any here today. That's why it gets a star.

Today I ordered from Burger King for the second time via Lieferando! The first time, the burger came without mayonnaise and lettuce. Despite contacting Burger King, I received no response. Today my food arrived after 1.5 hours. My son was already extremely hungry. I told them I had accidentally ordered plant-based food, and they wanted to replace it, but it didn't happen. Very, very poorly organized!

Order a small coffee and get a large one. Can't be that difficult.

This has become a nightmare of a branch. First of all, I've known it since it opened in the 90s and it was always good. It was also very busy, with queues at the drive-thru. Just now at around 9 p.m.: There was NO ONE inside and ONE car in front of me. I was surprised why it hadn't moved for over 10 minutes. Then I ordered in broken German with microphone problems. Couldn't understand what I wanted. The Double Whopper meal was okay, as was the Cheesy Barbecue. Only the Kingshake Espresso - no chance. I was supposed to drive up to the window, but the car from outside was still there and had to wait another 10 minutes. When it was finally our turn, I had to repeat my entire order. He then said the shake wasn't available and the cheesy barbecue was no longer available... but of course it was on the poster outside, and the lady at the counter didn't tell me that... I finally said, "You know what, never mind, I'll go to Grünberger." They nodded understandingly, I said, "You can close your shop like that!" They nodded again, smiling and understanding... Everything was great and friendly at Grünberger. I asked the cashier, the other branch is run by a completely different manager and I have nothing to do with them. But a lot of people complain to them. So the Schiffenberg branch is poorly managed. Burger King is ruining its reputation with this.

Well, that was truly unbelievable. I ordered something for delivery, but accidentally entered the wrong address. As a result, my order took over 40 minutes to arrive. I then called Burger King and asked about my food. They said the delivery had already arrived and everything was fine. I explained to them that the address was incorrect and gave them the correct address. Shortly afterward, the delivery lady came to my house, right outside my door, and immediately started arguing with me—on and on, without end. I then said, "Why are you arguing now? Just give me my food, here's your bill, and that's it." She then replied, "I don't want to cause any stress," and so on. What exactly does this mean? Burger King simply doesn't treat customers well.

The very last store I've ever been to. I waited 15 minutes without being served in an empty store. They're now too mediocre. I'll never go back and can only advise everyone against it. With all my heart, I do. I'd love to give it 0 or -5 stars, but unfortunately it's not possible.

Well, pretty salty fries. Slow service despite little audience. Milkshake was pretty tasteless.

I'm really disappointed. Was at Burger King today, was really hungry and was looking forward to a delicious burger - but what I got was an imposition! The meatball was completely burnt, pitch black on the outside, dry on the inside and bitter in taste. You shouldn't serve something like that to a guest. It looked like the burger had been on the grill for hours or someone just wasn't paying attention. No apology, no hint – just served as if nothing was wrong. I stopped after two bites, my appetite was gone. An absolute disgrace for the money. And the staff? Unfortunately, just as uninvolved as the burger - no interest in feedback or improvement. Conclusion: That was my last visit to this branch. This is not how you treat paying customers.

I wanted to eat a Whopper again after a long time but unfortunately it was a failure. My visit was on April 12th. 2025 around 9:30 p.m. the employees have nothing to do with customer friendliness, the restaurant manager should do some training with his employees, and the pretty lady with long loose hair without a hair tie or braid was just trying hard, luckily I didn't have any hair in the food. The burger was of very poor quality and the fries were cold and dry as always. The warm cola that wasn't there didn't taste like anything, they should check the machine or is that on purpose, you probably shouldn't expect anything good in this restaurant at this time of day. The temperature inside was as warm and stuffy as outside. Apparently the system was already turned off. It's a shame for the money, I'll definitely come back again to see how the chain goes down the drain, it can always get worse. Keep it up…..a good customer.

On an early afternoon on a Sunday, there is only one person behind the counter who is also responsible for the drive-thru. I don't think there's anything more that needs to be said... The tables outside have seen better days. I think there are by far better Burger King branches than this one in Schiffenberg Valley. There was nothing wrong with the food, it just tasted like anywhere else. Overall, I'd rather go somewhere else in the future

Unfortunately, it's completely dirty. The staff is completely overwhelmed. Recently, there was only one woman on staff to take orders and prepare the food. How can that be done while adhering to all hygiene regulations? At the drive-thru, you wait forever, and after this eternity, but after the food has been prepared, you're told that card payments aren't accepted. I can't go there in good conscience anymore and prefer to go to the Burger King on Georg-Elsner-Straße.

By far the best Burger King I've ever been to. Clean, spacious, actually the whole menu and all drink options are there and the staff are well organized.

Unfortunately, the quality here is subpar. For the money, it's better to cook something fresh at home or make yourself a sandwich. Hygiene is also a foreign word there, the tables are rarely clean and the floor is greasy. That's just a fact and I'm not the only one who noticed it. Please also look at other reviews and form your own opinion.

Unfortunately not recommended On the first visit there were technical problems which meant our order wasn't taken, and the staff were anything but friendly. I thought I'd try again another day, I was there again and the staff were still rude and unfriendly, tables weren't cleaned, high chair for children is broken which is why it's dangerous to put a toddler in it that can't sit on the chair independently. Leftover food on the floor, so unfortunately you can't speak of cleanliness here. The food was cold on both visits, both burgers and nuggets as well as the 'unsalted' fries, although drinks were warm :/ . You should also check your order carefully because sometimes 2-3 things are missing from the order! Unfortunately, nuggets are not cooked through either and are therefore not suitable for eating. I could list a lot more, it was definitely my last visit! And I wouldn't recommend anyone to eat here.

This was definitely a complete failure. The snack bucket was missing the fries and sauces. Both the chicken nuggets and the chili cheese nuggets were fried to death and totally dry. And instead of the Crisoy Chicken I ordered, there was a chili cheese burger in the bag.

I used to come here a lot and I'm just wondering what has happened to this shop now. After my last visit I had to leave the store almost without my shoes on because the floor was so sticky. My cola was extremely warm and tasted very strange, so I had to throw it away straight away. I also ordered a King Fusion KitKat. What I received, however, was an ice cream with lumps that made the next immediate dentist appointment inevitable. Because of the points mentioned, I have decided never to visit this horrible and disgusting juice shop again.

Ordered twice within a week. The first time the very, very expensive chili cheese nuggets were missing. Despite several attempted phone calls during normal opening hours, no one answered the phone to answer the complaint. Visited the car counter, waited forever. New products advertised by Burger King are not on offer in Giessen. Then at some point we had the wings we ordered. Not even napkins in the bag, let alone a wet wipe. This works better with the competitor next door...

One (1!) employee takes the orders in the store and from the Drive Inn, collects the cash, puts together the food orders (including drinks, ice cream, etc.) and reminds the "kitchen" several times of required dishes. 5 big stars for the individual achievement, one for the remaining achievements. Of course, the lack of ordering terminals does not help to improve the situation.

We were there after a cultural summer event, like many other concert goers. Since there were only 2 employees in the store, the order took a long time. Certainly bad planning when you consider that all visitors to the concerts are dropped off there by shuttle bus late in the evening and there is so much rush on the few shops that are open. So why 5 stars? The 2 employees who died on August 29th The 2024 people who were on duty there really dealt with the rush of customers really well. The calmness and concentration with which they took in and processed the many orders was really impressive! Especially since many customers were drunk. It would have needed at least 6 people for the kitchen and service, but the two of them can't do anything about that. Big praise!

Ultra long waiting times at the drive, you can easily stand for 15 minutes for a cheese, even if there's nothing going on. Could be because the employees don't wear headsets.
