One of the best in Town. Clean and has a lot of space. Won't be disappointed if you crave for a fast food.

I ordered through Lieferando, waited two hours, and then called. The woman said the order was only now visible, which wasn't a problem up to that point. Then the app said the order was finally "almost there." After that, nothing happened for another half hour. Suddenly, I got a message that McDonald's had to cancel my order, probably because they couldn't be bothered to deliver. I called again, and then the woman said the order hadn't even been prepared because I had canceled it, BUT I DIDN'T! It clearly states that McDonald's had to cancel it. Unbelievable!

Food is tasteless, although this one has a child room so you can chill and eat while your kid is playing. So not the best place for eating, but okeish to chill

Very nice McDonald's, it looks new. Nice patio, spacious inside. I found the burgers not very presentable, but you can still taste that signature McDonald's flavor. The women's restrooms were very dirty despite being mostly empty; the men's were fine.

A decently renovated McDonald's, the food is of the usual McDonald's quality. But the service is overwhelmed, they don't speak German or English and can't respond to questions.

Extremely long wait and then terrible food, including an upset stomach. By far the worst McDonald's I know.

Burgers, salads, etc., shouldn't be prepared with bare hands; hygienic gloves would be appropriate, in my opinion. Furthermore, it says "ready for pickup," the number suddenly disappears, and the food isn't there. Then the employees start a long search. You have to do something, McDonald's!

Visit December 5, 2025: New faces at McDonald's. What remains is the habit of only filling the fries halfway. Where's the weights and measures office? By the way, be careful, the shake cups are handed out without a Monopoly code. ********* New staff with young and motivated employees. They work quickly and reliably, at least on the evening of September 30, 2025. Unfortunately, the food reflects inflation…the burgers have less topping. The amount of fries should be measured; the portion seems smaller than before.

I was there yesterday with my nephew before the FC game. The food was hot and fresh, but we were missing the apple turnover and a large portion of fries. Since it was so close to kickoff, we didn't go back – really annoying!

I'm very disappointed with the lack of critical thinking and professionalism of some of the staff! There were two errors within one order – which isn't a big deal in itself – but the way they were handled was unacceptable! 1. The personalized burger wasn't as ordered. It was pointed out on the tray when I picked it up, and the person who took it back rolled their eyes and mumbled incomprehensibly. Completely exasperated, I finally got the correct burger – thanks to the nice gentleman who prepared it! 2. Then we noticed that the second part of the coupon wasn't on the tray, so we had to go back to the counter. Unfortunately, it was the same person who went to our table to check if the part was really missing. I've never experienced anything like it! It was like they were calling in a security guard to check my bag… Mistakes can happen, no problem, but checking whether I'm trying to take advantage of them or if something was genuinely forgotten doesn't sit well with the customer! 2. Then we realized that the second part of the coupon wasn't on the tray, so we had to go back to the counter. A much friendlier man gave us our missing food and a small free item as an apology. Thank you for that, but simply giving us the missing items would have been enough, and above all, not treating the customer like a liar would have been more appropriate! Never again at this branch!

The branch is good, but the food is crap, like everywhere else. Prices are way too high for the crap.

Unfortunately, I can't recommend this restaurant at all. We had to wait over 20 minutes for our food. When we politely asked an employee how long it would take to get our food, we were simply ignored. Another employee also reacted very rudely to my question about why all the customers who arrived significantly later than us had their food before us. Our burgers and fries were cold when they finally arrived. I'd rather not comment on the condition of the women's restroom...💩

I waited 25 minutes from ordering to delivery, even though there was very little to do. And then everything was only lukewarm. 😞😞

Impossible place... The service was very slow and unmotivated. If you asked where your food was after 20 minutes, you were stared at and simply ignored. After asking a second time, they said everything was in disarray and they were just sorting it out. I've never experienced such rudeness, even at a McDonald's... Truly impossible.

the people that work here a RUDE. i had spent the whole day in hospital and hadn’t eaten the whole day and just wanted some mcd. i had to wait 20 minutes on a small order (1 cheeseburger, 6 pc nuggets and small fry) and the food i got was COLD. after a 20 minute wait. for a tiny order. unacceptable. when i asked for fresh food the lady working was SO rude to me. need to train staff to have better customer service skills. this was disgusting behaviour. this wait also almost caused me to miss the last bus. side note, i worked at mcd for FOUR YEARS and have NEVER treated a customer like this. which also means i know exactly why i had to wait so long for my order. the staff clicked the orders off the system to keep times down, before any of the orders were even made and then in turn forgot about my order. irresponsible. i understand doing that because we did it too, but you CANNOT be rude to customers when YOU are the one who forgot their order.

The entrance was blocked off with a construction fence this morning. Are you cognitively impaired or too lazy to adjust the opening hours? If social media is new to you, please don't use it!!!

They didn't have any fries, and this was McDonald's! And the employee at the drive-through was incredibly unfriendly.

Since the renovation, the staff seems to have changed. Now only men with facial hair work there, and I wonder how anyone can order a McRib there without worrying. The calibration office should also come by; the fries portions have changed. The owner seems to want to capitalize on the situation.

Located on a busy road near a football stadium. There are only a handful of parking spaces, so avoid the place on match days. The food is warm, but could be cleaner, otherwise quite okay.

I wanted to pick up something from the McDrive at midnight. After my drink arrived a few minutes later, I was sent to the waiting parking lot. Nothing happened for 15 minutes. I then went back to the window and was given a refund for the unfinished order. Everything you don't need when you're tired and need a quick "fast food" snack.

I had a very disappointing experience at this McDonald’s. The staff was extremely irresponsible and showed a complete lack of respect toward customers. Not only were they inattentive when taking orders, but their attitude made it clear they didn’t care about providing good service. When I asked for help correcting a mistake with my meal, I was met with rudeness instead of assistance. Overall, the unprofessional behavior here left a terrible impression. A very special compliment to the employee at the McDrive counter (August 2, 6:34 p.m.): an older gentleman, incredibly friendly, warm, and attentive – you rarely meet someone like that, especially not at a fast food restaurant! The nicest McDonald's employee we've ever met. Thanks to him, the visit was truly pleasant. The food arrived quickly and hot – but this person made all the difference. Thank you!

Ordered from my own ordering machine and received different items. Order 269, 4:52 PM on July 31, 2025. Total order value: €98.37. There was no rush in the store itself, but the kitchen made a mistake. I ordered Shake Fries twice from Neuner Nuggets and only received fries. Their order slip also says "McShaker Fries." I didn't receive the item. Order number 179 is still on the table. We're almost finished eating, and the items still aren't here.

Unfortunately, only half full of fries and that regularly...

Conveniently located near Cologne's football stadium, it features a pleasant outdoor dining area. There's also a lovely playroom for the little ones on the first floor.

Smokers galore. It was uncomfortable to sit and eat there. Finding a seat in a wheelchair was also nearly impossible.

Very clean. However, the burgers are getting worse and worse. I got two Big Macs, and they didn't taste good. I don't expect gourmet food from McDonald's, but this really isn't edible. There's hardly any sauce on it. Any chip shop burger is better.

I was very disappointed with my visit to this McDonald's branch. The employee treated me disrespectfully when I asked for my cheeseburger without ketchup – for health reasons. I told him this while it was being prepared, as I had unfortunately forgotten to mention it when ordering. The employee was unwilling to help and angrily threw the burger in the trash. Some might chuckle, but this is the best McDonald's in Cologne. We go there every Thursday with our colleagues from the academy, and it's always great. Orders are prepared very quickly. And for McDonald's products, they're always hot and fresh. But the best part is the service. If you take a table number with table service, the attentive staff brings everything to your table very purposefully and quickly. They even ask you after a few minutes if you're satisfied. I miss that in expensive restaurants these days. Our group is absolutely thrilled with this McDonald's. We wouldn't have expected that from a fast-food chain these days. Please stay the same and keep up the good work. High praise. Thank you very much.

My personal experience: During my visit on the day of the DFB Cup, the restaurant seemed to me to be overwhelmed in organizational terms. In my experience the order was incomplete and contained errors; In addition, a burger was cold. However, once this was pointed out, the concern was dealt with in a friendly and correct manner.

When I opened the BigMac packaging, there was a slightly unpleasant smell. After the first bite the burger was returned. There was a new burger here but it wasn't any better and was left behind after the first bite.

Very incompetent staff at Mc Drive. A corpulent lady with a broken Russian accent. Communication is hardly possible. Constantly asking what exactly you ordered via the app. I guess I didn't understand the system behind it. Extremely rude and unfriendly! Please train when it comes to customer friendliness or, better yet, replace it straight away!

Unfortunately, the staff is once again too stupid to completely pack up a normal order. That was the last visit. Always check your order directly at the counter!

I've been there a few times now and each time I've received a friendly welcome. The staff is really nice and tries to stay calm and helpful even when it's busy. You can tell that the team is well coordinated. What strikes me as particularly positive is that the food is served quickly, even if several people order. Even special requests are accepted without much discussion, and the food comes quickly and fresh. The branch is clean, tidy and pleasantly furnished - ideal for a quick stop in between. The only reason one star is deducted is because the atmosphere is sometimes a bit restless, especially at peak times. But that's almost normal at a centrally located McDonald's. All in all, a solid location where the service is just right.

Drive-in with potential for frustration – unfortunately disappointing I was recently at the McDonald's on Widdersdorfer Straße - the one opposite the FC stadium, directly in the direction of the A4 to Aachen. Actually a practical spot for a quick stop on the way, but unfortunately my visit resulted in more frustration than fast food. My experience (drive-in): I got to the first drive-thru station – you know, the intercom for ordering. Nobody spoke. No “Hello, just a second please” – nothing. I waited a moment, but when there was still no response, I slowly rolled forward, assuming I could order right up front. And then it happens: The lady in front completely ignores me and prefers to take the car behind me. I sit there, a little confused, and when I point this out to her, she gets a pretty mushy comment. No apology, nothing. When it's finally my turn, I have to wait another good five minutes in front of station 10. It wouldn't have been so crazy if the food had at least been good. But: – The ice cream had already melted when I got it. – There was no sugar in the coffee, even though I specifically requested it. – And the long-awaited chocolate pockets were... well, lukewarm to cold. For a quick breakfast or a sweet snack on the way through - unfortunately a failure. Other reviews (summarized): I also read through some other reviews on Google and Maps and similar complaints keep coming up: – Long waiting times, even when there is little activity. – Unfriendly staff in the drive-thru. – Incorrect or incomplete orders. – Some people praise the good location and the mostly clean interiors, but what's the point if you're driving and just want a quick, correct order? Conclusion: Sure, it’s “just” a McDonald’s – but even for fast food there should be a certain standard. Especially in such a convenient location, you expect at least a functioning drive-in and friendly service. Unfortunately, my visit was anything but satisfactory. I hope that was an exception - but at the moment I definitely can't recommend this location.

Was there around 2 p.m. Food came to the table quickly and warm. Even though I made a mistake when ordering, the staff remained friendly and accommodating. The team leader lovingly took care to correct my mistake. That's what I call good service. Cleanliness is very important here. The whole restaurant was clean. There was nothing lying around anywhere. 5 stars are still not enough. That's why there's ⭐️⭐️⭐️ extra. I would love to come back to eat here. We can recommend this McDonald Fiale.

One of the nicer, more stylish McDonald's branches, definitely worth the trip from the city center. Unfortunately, the yellow-marked parking spaces for app orders have been blocked more often lately with people parking all the time, forcing you to stand behind them like a complete idiot. The staff (employees with Indian-sounding accents) get annoyed when they have to walk the few meters into the parking lot to bring your food to your car and tell you that they don't want to, saying you can come inside or use the drive-thru. Very cheeky! No sign of service! Inexplicably, the front entrance has simply been closed, so you have to enter from the back via the terrace. Also unnecessary

Finally you can order and pay in advance using the app. No more annoying queuing. Order via app, walk in, sit down and the food is delivered. Mostly clean. Especially compared to another large fast food chain. Now freshly remodeled in a new design.
