McDonald's in Köln

Waited almost half an hour for the food, then got the wrong food, then waited another 20 minutes for the right food. Very rude and overwhelmed staff, very dirty tables, and it's tasted better. (At most, half the tables were occupied)

The card machine was having problems; we didn't have any other cards and no cash. We wanted to leave, but there was another car in front of us in the drive-thru. Apparently, there were problems there too; the nice lady at the counter decided to yell across the drive-thru that we didn't have any money. Well, it's nobody's business, and in fact, that wasn't true. There was just no way to transfer our money to the McDonald's account. I won't do that again here either; I found it incredibly cheeky.

Just like McDonald's. Cool for kids, not so much for adults. The food is unhealthy, there's exploitation of animals and the environment, and there's a huge amount of garbage...

This was perhaps the best experience at McDonald's. Our order was ready in 5 minutes. Clean restrooms and hallways. Great decor. Friendly staff. I give it the highest rating.

I've been ordering from you regularly. If I could give it zero stars, I would. Something is forgotten with almost every order. I've never complained about it before, but I've had enough. The ice cream was half empty except for two times, and I don't even want to start talking about the constant stomach problems I get when ordering. Your customer service is a joke. You're even getting a bad review on Lieferando these days.

Awful.... Tried to order a regular lunch at 10:27 a.m. Broken German came over the loudspeaker. It wasn't until 10:30 a.m. Simply ridiculous. The Burger King next door gave us a friendly welcome. Sorry, MC, stupid. That was nothing...

Restaurant is clean. At the McCafé it took a very long time (5 minutes) until there was service. Cappuccino tastes terrible, sugar was only available after repeated requests. The donut is totally dry.

By far the best McDonald's. I have often ordered food from Mc Drive at 9 p.m. like this evening. Since my wife is pregnant, I asked the gentleman at Mc Drive at 9 p.m. for fresh nuggets. It was arranged and as always everything was fresh. Thanks to the nice team

As always: cold food, dirty dining room, dirty tables and seats and part of the order is missing again. That's enough now. Burger King does it better! The app doesn't work. Constantly re-login. Then coupons will not be accepted. If you have paid for the food, picked it up and still want to order something new, the app says that the previous process has not yet been completed and discards the order. If you go into the app again, you will be told that everything is ok and you can order again. But then the game starts all over again. Terrible!

At a chain like McDonald's I expect standard and my Chicken McNuggets were no longer crispy but rather old and my Big Tasty B Bacon was cold. D TS Royal was fresh and tasty, and the food was ready quickly, but I'm not 100% satisfied with my meal. I won't come to this McDonald's again.

The employee's language is barely understandable! It's incredibly annoying when you constantly have to ask questions and repeat everything because of the language. You order via the app and still get something wrong. Resolving problems is difficult. APP Enter a complaint not made for mobile phones! It's hard to see where you are because the screen layout is bad. It's also annoying when ordering with the app results in the wrong food. Why not recognized? There was beef burger in the chicken burger packaging. Edit: There was no receipt in the bag again. VAT fraud? And now the receipt is being requested for a complaint! That doesn't work at all! Edit: Never again. Now the burgers have secretly become smaller for the same price! I'd rather buy really good meat from the butcher for that price!

I'm a big fan of McDonalds in general, but I really can't recommend this one. It's one of those weird ones that's completely wrong in terms of interior design. Only one cash register or ordering counter. No proper display board with the burgers and promotional items. You have to order completely stupidly at the cake counter and then wait for your food at another counter. The system is totally stupid and, as I said, there was only one cash register at this strange counter, so even with only a medium number of customers, you stand in a relatively long queue. In addition, the fries were between lukewarm and cold, so it was also bad service if something like that was given out out of greed for money. This branch is really not recommended. The only good thing about the location was the sufficient parking spaces.

I've been there twice this year. Both times I had a hair in my food... unfortunately both times I got it to take away and when I got home I realized it couldn't be mine, it was short blonde hair and I have black hair, so be it. Then you often hear a lady shouting at the staff in the kitchen, which I wouldn't put up with and even gives me a stomach ache as a customer. I also think that the waiting times have become significantly longer since the renovation. Unfortunately the delivery staff is also unfriendly. I actually always come to McDonald's because it's quick. I ordered nuggets menu, mc Flurry and cheeseburger at the drive-in counter and have been waiting for a whopping 30 minutes!!!!

McDonalds should finally wake up...€2 for a McSundae and the paper cup was only half full and there was hardly any sauce in it. In addition, the ice had almost melted. The BigMac was put together carelessly and there was hardly any salad. So I'm not surprised that our visits have been reduced to once per six months. Keep it up...

So I don't know what went wrong with the store renovation. Before there were a lot of courteous and friendly employees. The service was quick and the order was always complete. Since the renovation, the waiting time has been much longer. Once two burgers were completely missing from an order, and once there were normal nuggets instead of veggie nuggets. For me this is a cardinal mistake. Luckily we were still checking the order in the store so we noticed it. What particularly bothers me: you constantly hear loud reprimands from a lady in the kitchen (during the last 3 visits). As a colleague, I wouldn't accept it in that tone. I think that's very unprofessional. You can argue about the new design of the restaurant, I thought it was better before. I hope someone from management is reading this. Something urgently needs to be done in this restaurant.

A typical McDonald's Food was great except for the fries. Staff very friendly The thing that bothered me was the nasty smell of piss in the men's toilet. In contrast to all the other locations, this was not clean.

The exits have been relocated. Now there is always a draft and cold air flows into every corner when the door is opened.

So that was awesome, I've never experienced anything like that before. It was very clean, including the toilets. I can't say anything about the food, why? I said good morning to three employees twice, no response. The second time the employees looked at me, turned around and disappeared in different directions. That probably explains the star for the service and the lack of stars for the food, I didn't get anything. I then went to the gas station, they were friendly and spoke to me too.

After the renovation there feels like even less space. The 4-person tables feel even smaller. The cleanliness still leaves something to be desired. The tables are cleaned far too little and there is leftover food everywhere. Otherwise MC's standard.

Ordered two burgers and received both without a pattie. That's really sad when you think about the fact that there should be a big chicken patty on it. But it doesn't seem to be an isolated case that shouldn't happen if there are hardly any customers there...

We were asked at the ordering machine to cancel our order and go out because the store was supposed to be closing soon.

The lady here (I think the manager) is really loud and shouting at everything. We can hear her asking if her employee went on break and why he took Soo long. Someone sent back their fries that they are coldand this other lady just used hr hands to check them and disagreed. Thankfully they gave the customers another set of fresh fries.

Clean and well-equipped McDonald's restaurants

The first McDonald's that I neither want to visit again nor recommend. The only nice and competent person was the young man at the drive-in who tried to help us as best he could when there were problems with the voucher codes. The most incompetent person was definitely the boss in this store. She bullied her employees in front of the customers and even ultimately us. Pay for three menus and get two in a fast food restaurant where nothing happens quickly... A long day comes to an end and you're looking forward to a juicy burger at McDonald's. So we drove to the nearest restaurant. The employee at McDrive was very friendly and did a really good job (probably the best employee in this store). We both wanted the double pack menu from the McDoanalds's app. So we each opened our own app and showed the QR code. Unfortunately there were constant error messages. A coupon finally worked after opening and closing the app several times and we paid. The employee at the terminal asked us if he could use the code from his app. Suddenly his boss/shift manager shows up. The good man first receives a completely inappropriate comment for his "slow" and customer-oriented work, and then we are just as rudely told to come to the restaurant. There we wait in line and describe our problem to another employee. The boss is coming... We haven't ordered anything and have to buy the two menus again because the order in McDrive was apparently canceled. Either my bank statements are lying or this shift manager is lying. So ordered again and waited again (45 minutes in total). Only recommended for people who feel like waiting a long time for cold food and don't value friendly service. Except for the employees at McDrive! He's too good for this branch.

Actually the worst McDonald's I've been to. The boss constantly shouts at her employees in front of the customers. No conditions at the checkout despite a ten minute waiting time. Employees completely unsettled by the boss's shouting. Almost every order I received during my own waiting time was wrong or incorrect. I left after 15 minutes and went to Burger King next door. Never ever go to the store...

Modern McDonald's where you can't see directly into the kitchen, so the constant beeping isn't as intrusive as usual. The food was served sensibly and hot, but the sugar and milk were also brought along. The atmosphere is untypically modern and unconventional... After months we spontaneously drove over. The restaurant was completely remodeled and the staff was new. Clean, friendly and competent. My comparison is more with December 2023. If it stays like that, you can definitely go there every now and then.

We went to this McDonald's quite late after work last Thursday. Order and payment on the display. A menu and a chilli chese burger. We waited 21 minutes for the food. The shop wasn't really full and half of them waited just as long for their food. My chilli burger was cold and I brought it to the counter quite annoyed. The stupid comment about whether I wanted the burger hot ended me. The cold new interior is debatable. I don't think it's nice at all. The fact is that there are now 2 entrances for the drive in and these are probably served with priority. Too bad, too bad. I think we ALL have difficult times and we should try to make the customer somewhat satisfied instead of scaring them away. By the way, it wasn't the first time we waited so long.

Like almost all McDonald's, not for people with demands. Would describe it as average, was only there because of the opportunity to shop and eat at the same time. I only ate ice cream here, unfortunately the selection was very limited, at least there was only a small selection at the McSunday ordering machine. Didn't appear to be run down, but most of the tables were dirty and greasy.

Completely overwhelmed crew and shift management in a not-so-full restaurant at lunchtime on August 3rd, 2024. Numbers at the pick-up board at random. Numbers disappear completely without being finished. Orders in random order. Some people (with children!) waited for over half an hour. There wasn't even an apology or a goodie for the kids. Total chaos.

When we first entered the restaurant and started ordering, paying on the order screens did not work. We had to go to the till and then we were greeted by the staff standing and shouting at each other and arguing so that you could hear it in the whole restaurant. It took about 5 minutes for one of the staff to notice that you were standing at the till waiting. The food was perfectly ok but very sticky with sauce. All the bins for throwing away what was left of the food were full.

Good, clean shop. Wasn't too crowded. The employee wanted to help with the order.

I have to say the store is clean. The food is cold and tasty. However, I don't understand why the slide outside is closed when the weather is nice. And what I really can't understand is how the smaller lady with tied hair treats the employees... I was beyond shocked and the employees looked so scared... that you could see on their faces that they were afraid of doing something wrong. So really in what a tone... and then in front of the customers... it's just not appropriate at all...
