At the beginning the table we had reserved wasn't even clean or set. It was very warm and stuffy in the restaurant. When taking our orders we were not told that there were no more sandwiches, instead of being told right at the beginning before deciding. The pizza base was far too thin and completely soggy, but the tacos and hummus were delicious. The waitress was polite but not particularly friendly. The empty dishes were cleared away super late and not completely, and it wasn't even particularly full. We weren't asked if we wanted to order anything else. The prices are way too high for what you get. Unfortunately, I wouldn't come back for a while.

Very tasty food and nice service

If I could I would give -1 star. Underground. Half of the menu was not available, after asking 4 times we were finally able to order what was only half a dish because half of the ingredients were not available. The waiter was also very rude, mumbled and we had to pull everything out of him until he helped on his own. The table was so stuck, when we asked if the table could be wiped again the answer was: “I have already wiped the table”, then probably not good enough. The food came first and then the drink, which wasn't really appropriate. When we finally ordered a cappuccino, we had to wait 20 minutes for it and the bill was also calculated incorrectly, which was very unprofessional. Never again

We were there today and were initially treated unfriendly by the waiter as if he had no interest in us at all. Then we sat down outside because it was way too warm inside and at some point the waiters just cleared everything away and didn't even tell us that they wanted to close and then at some point they said that we were being rude and insulted us. When we asked what that was about, the waiters themselves said that it didn't matter to them and that we were welcome to write a Google review. Very very anti-social service!!! And very rude staff! I wouldn't recommend this to anyone here because we didn't do anything and were insulted as a customer!!!!!! Very rude, really anti-social service!

Temporarily closed from September. Unfortunately, service is not very committed and prices are no longer what they can be found online. Agree with previous reviews. The pizzas were actually really great. It's a shame they're closing.

Fast service, good prices and super tasty sodas!!!

Totally disappointing. I had ordered a pizza. This arrived after a short wait. Unfortunately there was steak pepper on my pizza, which was not mentioned on the new menu. When I asked if I could get a new one because the flavor of the pizza was completely lost due to the spice, all I got was an annoyed groan and the answer that it was on the menu. Well, not at all. However, the manager was kind enough to bring me a new one, but this time the hollandaise sauce was missing. The prices also increased by an average of €2 per dish. So all in all a disappointing evening.

The food and drinks are very tasty. Unfortunately we always have bad luck with the waiter. One of them is so checked out, unfriendly and inattentive. It should be replaced. The restaurant also urgently needs air conditioning!!! Even in winter it's just too hot and stuffy in there. You also need more napkins at the table because the cocktail glasses make the table extremely wet (although the napkins themselves are really great!).

I've probably been there 20 times and still enjoy being here, even though it has now developed into a more expensive address. However, the service cannot always meet this requirement. When it comes to food, the Neapolitan pizzas, sandwiches and tacos are in a class of their own. Over the last 3 years, as everywhere else, prices have risen sharply due to increased costs. However, I don't understand why my former favorite starter, Halloumi Fries, was increased from €4.50 to €12 (almost 170%(!)).

Inedible, completely oversweetened drinks in an uncomfortable atmosphere. The drinks had no taste but were outrageously priced at €12 for a wine glass full of crushed ice and syrup. The service did not respond to constructive criticism.

Actually excellent food, but recently there has been hardly any choice for vegans (all bowls have been removed from the menu, as has the vegan mozzarella on pizza). Unfortunately, the mozzarella and some sauces are still on the menu, which is of course annoying for the excellent service team and guests... There were also hefty price increases, but that may still be justified under certain circumstances.

Service 0 stars.. I haven't experienced such incredibly bad service in a long time. This is aimed primarily at men who arrive on August 3rd. were on duty. Nobody wanted to be absolutely annoyed, roll their eyes, and just walk away while talking to each other. Instead, it's better to sit coolly on the table and smoke. Customer service simply wasn't there. When the gentleman “served” the food (he banged and pushed the plates across the table), a taco slipped from the plate onto the table. There was a “sorry” while he was already on his way away. We weren't asked again if we wanted something to drink. The toilets were beyond dirty. Two of four toilets were unusable. A sink was full of water and blocked. Price/performance is absolutely not right here…

For a Bari-style pizza, I'm missing basic ingredients like salchichia, Parma ham or delicious cooked ham. I'm definitely not this store's target audience.

We were there on Sunday lunchtime with 4 people + dog and were given a really friendly welcome and hospitality. As a matter of course, the dog would also be provided with a water bowl and we also served the appetizers and drinks very quickly after ordering. We were given good advice about the starters so that each of us found something on the unusual but great menu. At our request, the main course was ordered and served after a short digestive break after the starters (portions are really good). Here too, the portions were good and everything was delicious! Everything is beautifully and appetizingly prepared. Thank you for a great lunch/afternoon. We will definitely take a look again!

Unfortunately, toilets are unacceptable; apparently they are shared with other companies and no one seems to feel responsible for keeping them clean. Otherwise everything was great!!

Tacos were great food was good all round.. Any Mojitos bought after here will pale in comparison to the ones sajad makes here.

The taste of the dishes on offer is simply bombastic and leaves nothing to be desired - every dish is a true feast for the senses. The service is first class, Samira served us, and last time a great lady unfortunately didn't notice her name, and a waiter unfortunately didn't notice her name either... this restaurant is characterized by the highest level of professionalism. The staff are attentive, friendly and always strive to provide guests with an unforgettable experience. MazeMaze is truly an upscale gem that I highly recommend to everyone. Deserved 5 out of 5 stars! Please keep it up!!!!!

Delicious, varied food and very nice waiters. Overall a successful evening. We ate there with our children and were not disappointed. The children were thrilled with their children's pizza in the fish format. I ate one of the breads (veggie). My wife ate a pizza. Both were delicious. Various lemonades and tacos with guacamole. We were thrilled and will definitely come back!

The food was delicious as always! Portions super sufficient. The service is once again underground. We had to ask several times for another order and when we were finally able to get rid of our drink request, the waiter who was responsible for our table came and pointed out to us very directly that we only had 13 minutes left. and then our slot is over. So after 1 hour we were... and thrown out 47 minutes.

Nice atmosphere and delicious food. Our favorite pizza was the Bud Spencer pizza with the fluffy crust. Unfortunately, it is no longer made this way and is flattened. For me it was the best Napoleonic pizza in Hamburg. Unfortunately we have to look for something new. Please bring back the old rim and cheese.

Great ambience, delicious food and great service. If you are in Hamburg you should definitely try this food spot. There is something for everyone here...whether meat, vegetarian or vegan. Large portions and great service at fair prices. I will go there again on my next vacation 👍

I was in Hamburg with my family for a short trip and became aware of the restaurant through Instagram. The food and drinks arrived very promptly, looked incredibly good and it was also very tasty, the price-performance ratio was also right, I can recommend it the cocktails as well as the lemonades, we had a very nice evening

There were 5 of us there. We really enjoyed the food throughout. Whether pizza or sandwich, everything was delicious. Unfortunately, the service wasn't really attentive, but was still friendly when the employees were at the table. You have to take the location right on the main street with the train station as it is. Overall, I can recommend the Maze Maze.

There was a bug in the pizza and the staff became unfriendly and weren't even willing to reduce the price because of it

Very nice restaurant that I visited regularly. However, in recent visits I have been shocked by the service. The waiters were listless and threw the glass coasters around without respect or love. What a shame!

When we arrived we initially thought it would definitely take a long time to get our order because the store was very busy, but this wasn't the case! Starters and drinks arrived promptly at our table and the main course didn't take long to arrive. We would have loved to try everything on the menu - what a great offer! It was incredibly delicious. Worth a recommendation with a few hints/tips for the guest: - The food was great, only the fried chicken had absorbed a little too much fat (it can happen, not dramatic) Pizza 1a and the sandwiches were really great - When it comes to drinks/sodas, feel free to ask the waiters for their personal recommendations - you won't be disappointed. We ourselves were a bit overwhelmed with the selection and creations - Important: reserved, no matter what time. If you make an online reservation, you will have written confirmation that you have the table for 2 hours. Unfortunately, we noticed that other guests were trying to keep their stay as short as possible. Despite reservations, attempts were made to get rid of customers quickly. Two women arrived about 15 minutes (4:45 p.m.) before the reserved time and were then immediately told that the table would only be available until 6 p.m.... This calculation doesn't add up, in my opinion. The ladies were quite confused and probably didn't dare say anything because of their brisk manner. The young woman in charge of the reception didn't seem to have a very customer-oriented mindset. That's why we have to deduct one star from the service. Nevertheless, the store is worth visiting. We will be back definitely.

Very rude staff!!! I was with two friends because we were left sitting there for what felt like half an hour and not served. After waiting for half an hour we placed an order only to hear again after half an hour from a waitress with relationship problems that we should leave the store. She didn't want her ex to eat there. Kindergarten ! Never again !

I visited the restaurant for the first time at the weekend. The first thing I noticed was the beautiful and modern decor. I also really liked the music. The food was very tasty and the portions were large. I particularly liked the drinks (garnished with fresh fruits)

There was a rotten currant in my drink. When I brought this to the attention of the staff, she apologized and offered me a new drink. Instead of the drink, another employee came and wanted to discuss why we didn't bring it back straight away. When I told her that I didn't realize it until later, she walked away and never came back. After 20 minutes we paid and left.

Delicious and inexpensive restaurant. I always recommend reserving a table in advance otherwise it can be difficult. I hadn't reserved one and Conditions then tried to organize a place for me, which I think was good. What is particularly worth mentioning here are the cocktails, which taste incredibly good.

I ordered a sandwich and specifically stated several times that I didn't want any hot sauce. I was recommended the Asian garlic sauce, which supposedly wasn't spicy. However, when the sandwich arrived, it was extremely spicy and the sauce was peppered with chili pepper bits. When I complained about it, the waiter said the sauce wasn't spicy. I let the others at the table taste it and they confirmed that the sauce was spicy. The waiter brought the plate back to the kitchen and I saw a big discussion in the kitchen. After about five minutes another woman came to our table and said the sauce wasn't spicy and that I could either eat something else and pay for the sandwich or scrape off the sauce and have another one put on it. I found this answer very unprofessional. I said there was no way I was going to pay for the sandwich as it was an outrage. Eventually, someone in our group came later to eat the sandwich and also confirmed that it was spicy, even though he had no prior knowledge of the situation. I then had a margherita with mushrooms and ham where the edge was pretty burnt. The service was extremely disappointing. Apart from that, the quality of the food was good, except for the burnt edge of the pizza. But the way my complaint was handled was absolutely unacceptable. If the friend in our group hadn't taken the sandwich, they probably would have had to call the police because I didn't pay for it. Acting like a fool because the sauce wasn't spicy when it clearly was was the last thing.

A nice place with really great cocktails. In the mixed starter platter we had, the tomato and mozzarella arrangement was unfortunately presented carelessly and tastelessly (no salt, no pepper, no olive oil and no balsamic vinegar). All other components were really great! But what bothered us the most was the ear-splitting volume in the restaurant. Afterwards you still have ringing in your ears for a good 40 minutes...

We made a reservation here based on good reviews and a recommendation! Were not disappointed. Friendly welcome and good advice. The ambience was great and everyone's eyes went to the ceiling and we thought about what it was about! (paper-thin wooden plates) We then chose our dishes and, after sharing a starter, we were delighted with the generously large portions! Almost everyone had problems doing this! But very tasty and so we went our separate ways satisfied! The restaurant can be recommended.

Super chic shop. We had the pleasure of being able to dine on the terrace. The service is good. The selection of food and drinks is huge. We had a small appetizer and a pizza each. Everything was super tasty and fresh. The pizzas were really big and cooked to perfection. The homemade lemonade was also super tasty. Very wild combinations but surprisingly delicious. The prices are not cheap but really fair for the quality. We will definitely come back again.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of dining with you. However, I discovered that the prices on my bill were significantly higher than the prices shown on the menu. This discrepancy is unacceptable to me and feels like a deception. I would like to ask you to explain to me how this difference could have occurred and hope that the problem will be resolved quickly.

First of all I have to praise the very good food and the friendly staff. But now to the negative. I was there with my girlfriend and reserved a table from 6 p.m. Right at the beginning we were told that we should only stay there for 1.5 hours. I think that's very short and compared to the Ono, for example, where you have 2 hours, it's a bit cheeky. We each had a starter and a main course. My friend then ordered a glass of wine. In fact, shortly after the 1.5 hour was up, we were asked to leave the restaurant. The wine was then poured into a plastic cup (in true style) so that it could continue to be drunk outside. I am more than dissatisfied with this behavior! We paid almost 100 EUR to be thrown out on time? I've never experienced that in any restaurant and it wasn't our first time at Mazé Mazé, but it was definitely the last time...unfortunately! I don't want to squeeze in good food under time pressure. From my point of view, that doesn't make any sense at all. For that money you can also book a table at other restaurants and not be forced to leave once you've finished eating, even with very upscale cuisine! We are just disappointed with this handling...

Nice restaurant right next to the HT16 sports club near the Burgstrasse subway. The restaurant has beautifully covered outdoor seating and a well-arranged indoor area. Room design so that it seems a bit loud inside. The staff is very friendly and keeps an active eye on the guests and immediately responds to even small requests. The food has always been very fresh and well prepared. The bowls and sandwiches in particular are extremely tasty. They don't serve Lober bread as a sandwich, but rather bake real Cross bread. You can watch pizza being baked directly in the kitchen area and you also have a good view of the street and everything going on outside through the large windows outside. The dips/sauces are absolutely delicious and you should definitely go there more often and try them all once. The good selection of drinks, especially the lemonades, offer a great variety.

The food was very good, but I think the prices were a bit excessive, but that's probably just the restaurant. The location is not ideal, especially if you are traveling by car. There are no parking spaces and you quickly end up in traffic looking for a parking space. I'd happily come back for the sandwich, but without a car. Vitello Tonnato can also be recommended as a starter! The only bad thing was that we ordered fries for dessert but they waited a whole 30 minutes. Very weak, as fries are something that always has to be in the deep fryer.

Basically great stay. Two points that are negative for me: 1. I ordered an additional portion of fries, which wouldn't even have passed as a children's portion. At the other tables the portions were always larger. I think it was the rest in the bowl that was then thrown out. Otherwise the food was very tasty. 2. When it comes to service, the waiters should be a little more attentive at the tables. We kept sitting in front of empty glasses and had to stand up and draw attention, even though we were sitting right at the entrance. Significantly more sales would have been possible here. All in all, a great visit!

Been here twice now and won't be coming back in the future. The staff, with the exception of one young gentleman this evening, was very unmotivated and not friendly. No thank you, please or you're welcome. Had a pizza once, it was okay, and a bowl with breaded shrimp the second time. Unfortunately I didn't like it at all, it was very bland and tasteless. The mango didn't taste fresh and the shrimp was very fatty. All in all a disappointing visit, which is why I prefer other restaurants :)

A nice restaurant with wide choices of vegan recipes. The mix platter is mind-blowing. From east to west food cuisines are in Fusion nicely.

Disrespectful treatment. I waited a total of an hour until I was told that my food wasn't coming because the oven was broken. Beforehand it was only briefly announced that there were gas problems, but the food would come. Things like that can happen, but the situation management was absolutely abysmal. I was not kept up to date about my further waiting time. You could have at least offered a second drink while you were waiting or refrained from paying for the drink you had already drunk. That would have been the least. If I hadn't put pressure on me at the end to say that I would like to have my bill promptly so that I could still get something to eat in the area, they would have made me wait even longer. Mishaps can happen, but how to deal with them is up to the operator/staff. And everyone failed there. Not again.

This type of restaurant is new to me. There were five of us and everyone was positively impressed by the food. Ordering takes a little longer the first time because there are many options for sauces, side dishes, etc. If you go there often, you will find your favorites very quickly. There are very tasty light foods, but also filling new products. Since we all ordered non-alcoholic drinks, it was very good to see that there were interesting alternatives, for example ginger tea with fresh ginger (not a tea bag). It won't be the last time we stop there. A disadvantage for oldies who also have to wear hearing aids, the musical sound appears very loud. However, when the weather is good you can also sit outside, where "only" the traffic is loud. The ambience is modern, for example the ceiling is decorated with veneer sheets, which looks good and absorbs sound.

The Mazé Mazé is basically a beautiful location. Unfortunately I am disappointed with the price-performance ratio. There is a large selection of drinks and food, but the price is clearly too high for what you get. In addition, the service could be more attentive. It's okay for a drink or a bite to eat after work. For a fancy restaurant visit, I would prefer other restaurants.

Large selection of different dishes. Everything looks super delicious. We had pizza, beef fillet with tagliatelle and Bolognese with pasta...and everyone enjoyed it very much. Our little granddaughter was greeted with a small portion of French fries from the kitchen...these were gratefully accepted. A good idea! The service was quick and friendly. If we are in Hamburg again, we would like to come back.

The staff is probably a bit tight these days, so you sometimes have to wait a bit until someone feels responsible. The food always came quite quickly, even though the restaurant was busy. We had tacos and pakora, sometimes sandwiches or a bowl. Everything so far has been fresh and delicious. The portion of tacos was relatively small for my taste compared to the other main courses. The pizza was very popular with the other guests and looked very good. There are also several vegan options. Price performance is really good.

With such an extensive map, making a selection on the small cell phone screen is very difficult. After almost two hours we were asked to leave because our table had been reserved again. Unfortunately, we were still in the middle of the conversation and would actually have preferred to order something else. This is not hospitable and we were very disappointed that our evening together ended so abruptly. As delicious as the food and cocktails are, we definitely won't be back and I wouldn't recommend Mazé Mazé. A pity.
