The best cake in Hamburg & very tasty coffee!

Very friendly staff. Fresh preparation of herring rolls with crispy lettuce and fresh carrots as a base on the matjes roll. The Matjes ear is buttery and delicious. The price is very moderate for the size and surface. I can't remember eating such a great herring roll. While I was waiting, I was able to admire the diverse cake counter. Everything made in-house. It's worth stopping there.

Today I went to the Hafencity delicatessen with my family. We had a fried fish with fries, ravioli, a hamburger panfish and the Jägerschnitzel was really delicious and we will come back.

Great at lunchtime, same thing in the evening, but at least a good alternative near the Elbphilharmonie before the concert.

The servers are very nice and welcoming, unfortunately the organization of the service they receive is really not intelligent. In fact, you order and pay at the entrance like in a fast food restaurant.... however it is not "fast" at all. There were two of us. My husband got his dish after 30 minutes...as for my order...well that's when I learned that the dish I had ordered and paid for was no longer available. So I requested a refund because the other dishes did not suit me. Coffee was offered to us. The boss (maybe) offered several times to offer me another dish free of charge to apologize for the inconvenience. It was very kind and commercial of him. However, I had already pecked from my husband's plate. So I didn't accept his offer and simply left when my husband finished his coffee. Apart from that, the place is in my opinion too noisy and poorly organized. In fact, the dishes are not brought to the tables at the same time and some had finished their plate while their friend had not even had his yet. I think it would be appropriate to think of another organization, more traditional, which would prevent guests from eating out of time and especially servers from running around to find out whose plate they have in their hand.... it's a real marathon...

Very tasty, inexpensive and quite good quality, large selection. Who wants huge portions, like me, very tasty fried potato pan with diced bacon, onions with cucumber salad, olives, thank you Sherif Hopi.😃

I was here on Lunch and it was phenomenal. I got Hamburger pannfisch and it was so delicious. The food was great, wait time short, atmosphere was nice and the staff friendly. Very nice visit. Thumbs up👍

A central restaurant near the Elbphillharmonie. Food and service was great. Points deducted because there is only one small toilet for everyone.

Fish sandwiches in a nice atmosphere

We went here for cake after visiting Elphi. The service was friendly but understaffed, we had to wait a long time. The cake was delicious but not a highlight. It was quite uncomfortable and smelled very strongly of food being prepared from the other restaurant next door. At least I wouldn't sit down in our spot down the aisle again.

A great lunch without a long wait. Good and varied lunch menu.

Very noisy shop if you sit near the entrance. The table was very wobbly, the light wasn't turned on and where there was salt on it, there was pepper in it 😱. The vegetarian dish “fried potatoes with scrambled eggs” on the menu was served with diced bacon. We won't come here again.

We had some time for coffee yesterday afternoon. As soon as we entered, we were warmly welcomed by everyone working there. With the homemade cake, we had no choice but to try it too. You just have to eat it. In any case, it wasn't the last time we were here.

Always authentic and just like mom’s! It's great that there's something like this next to all the Hibster restaurants. So if you fancy German cuisine like it used to be, definitely give it a try. Always delicious and always packed with lots of cookies! There is also food to take away...the managing director Thomas loves his shop and his food and his customers! Thank you for the many delicious lunch breaks and the attentive team! You are 6 stars!

After a long tour of the city, we ate creamy potato soup with scampis. Delicious. The service was always friendly, courteous and helpful.

Not everywhere that says delicatessen on the label has it in there. The gentleman who took the order was nice. The food, however, was horrible. There were four of us. Three people left the food because it was so inedible. Seating a joke and locally dingy. A disgrace for these prices.

Nice place with great prices. We went around 5 cafes in the area and were amazed by the price level: dishes everywhere start from 15€. and when we found this place, we were pleasantly surprised and decided to try the local cuisine. To our pleasant surprise, the food was excellent. Fair portions and nice prices, highly recommend eating here!

Unfortunately, my first experience at Feinkost Hafencity was disappointing. The fish & chips didn't taste good. Although the fries were okay. The redfish was in a doughy, limp shell - not crispy and not fried. For the price of €12.90 per portion, I was hoping for a lot more and probably because of the “delicatessen” in the title. In addition, while I was eating there, two guests independently complained about their food: sour-tasting iced coffee and “overturned” cake. Unfortunately, there is no reason for me to give it a second chance.

My colleagues and I have been spending our lunch breaks at delicatessens for years. We are very satisfied with the choice of dishes thanks to the regularly changing menu. The staff has a friendly and courteous demeanor. People really enjoy going here. When it's warmer, you have the option to sit outside.

Interesting that the worst locations always have the pretentious names. Restaurant: Dirty/dirty... Food: Old and warmed up (including nausea afterwards) For a shop that calls itself a “delicatessen” the food was a disgrace. Every stall at the station offers more taste and freshness. The place was so dirty that you couldn't say "yeah, okay, there's a lot of activity there". Never again - stay away from it

Wir waren mit der Familie für Cafe und Kuchen dort. Meine Partnerin und ich hatten doch etwas Hunger und probierten den Camembert Salat und den Vegetarischen Burger. Beides wirklich super gut. Der Service war auch sehr gut. Aufmerksames Team

We went here for lunch yesterday and I have to honestly say that I have never eaten so badly. The pasta I ordered did not contain the advertised ingredients (oyster mushrooms, pumpkin), without comment I received a plate of overcooked pasta with tomatoized canned vegetables (peas, carrots). You couldn't eat it, the waitress noticed this and offered to swap the dish. Anyway. Then there was a mediocre currywurst. At least we were full. Unfortunately, in our experience, the store has nothing to do with delicatessen. We regret choosing this restaurant when there are so many great alternatives in the area.

Very tasty food. Portions are very large. Cake is baked by the owner himself. There is a large selection of them. I've been there several times for dinner and coffee and cake.

A small restaurant near the Philharmonic Hall. The food was delicious, there was only one thing I didn't like. The menu clearly says french fries and they brought me a potato salad, I had to buy a portion separately.

We went to the delicatessen with the family for the Christmas party and, as always, the food was delicious and fresh. Service also very attentive. Gladly again!

We were looking for a café in Hafencity and ended up here. At 3:30 p.m. on a Tuesday. It looked closed. When we asked if it was open for coffee and cake (which is advertised on the menu outside, baked with grandma's recipes), we were told yes. We sat down and waited....... At some point we got the card and waited... There was no covered cake, the display had already been cleared away. We ordered cocoa and latte macchiato. A cheesecake and a chocolate cake, The latte came and was cold. Just like in the entire store. The door was wide open, it was cold and people were cleaning around us. Not very comfortable. At 4:15 p.m. we received the information that the store would close at 5 p.m. Well, we waited for the bill... At some point a gentleman stood behind the bar and said they were closing now. I then said I needed the bill. Well, what can I say, the cash register was already settled, we didn't receive a receipt, we had to pay in cash and those were/are exorbitant prices For 2 cakes and two hot drinks 23 euros... I don't know what we were charged for, unfortunately I only noticed it afterwards. It's a shame, I thought they would give owner-managed shops a chance. Even though it's Hafencity and everything is certainly a bit more expensive there, I think it's a rip-off. Two hot🤔 drinks 10 euros ok But then two cakes for 11.50 euros 🤨😳 I cannot recommend this restaurant/cafe.

Bin bei einem Besuch in Hamburg zufällig auf das Lokal gestoßen. Hätte ich mir sparen können. Ich habe Backfisch mit Pommes bestellt. Der Fisch war so trocken, dass ich 3 Töpfchen von der Remoulade gebraucht hätte. Und die Pommes habe ich komplett stehen lassen. Für mich ungenießbar. Schade..... Der Service an der Kasse war freundlich, aber der Service am Tisch braucht dringend eine Schulung

Pretty good German bistro. Good portion of food even für a large hungry appetite during lunch time. The price is acceptable. They're reasonably fast and treat guests well coming.

Meine Frau und ich haben Thomas Jeche und sein Team aus dem Bistro Feinkost Hafencity mit unserem Catering für unsere Hochzeit auf dem „Grosser Michel“, einer alten HADAG Fähre, die man für Events buchen kann, beauftragt. Die ganze Absprache des Menüs, die Planung und das Menü selbst, waren toll, toll, toll! Thomas ist auf alle Wünsche von uns eingegangen und hat eigene Ideen mit eingebracht. Wir haben immer den Eindruck gehabt willkommen zu sein, wenn wir Änderungswünsche hatten oder Details abstimmen wollten. Er und der Schiffseigner vom „Grosser Michel“ haben das finale Timing eigenständig untereinander abgesprochen und die restliche Planung abgestimmt, sodass wir uns voll auf unseren schönsten Tag konzentrieren konnten. Das Essen war fantastisch! Liebevoll angerichtete Variationen, alles auf den Punkt gegart und vor Ort auf dem Schiff aufgebaut. Unsere Gäste und wir selbst waren begeistert. Es schmeckte wirklich ALLES unglaublich gut!!! Außerdem gibt es im Bistro Feinkost Hafencity das leckerste Matjesbrötchen, das man sich vorstellen kann. Vielen Dank an Thomas und das ganze Team. Besser geht es nicht!!!

Heute das erste mal hier gewesen. Hatte Currywurst mit Pommes. Pommes waren top, nur ist die Wurst etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig… die Konsistenz ist sehr fein und fest. Für die Wurst würde ich nicht wieder kommen, aber ich werde es weiter testen ;-)

Super schönes Lokal, sehr nette Bedienungen, super hilfsbereit und fix. Essen war richtig lecker.

Beim Bagel Benedict wurde das pochierte Ei durch ein glibberig gebratenes Spiegelei ersetzt. Die Sauce Hollandaise schmeckte wie eine Fertigsauce. Insgesamt weit entfernt von dem, was der Name Feinkost verspricht. Lobend hervorzuheben war die weibliche Bedienung an diesem Tag. Sie war sehr höflich und der Kritik bezüglich des Essens aufgeschlossen. Unschön war, dass Konflikte zwischen den Mitarbeitern, ausgehend von einem männlichen Mitarbeiter, offen und lautstark vor den Gästen ausgetragen wurden.

Leckere Kuchen und heiße Schokolade

Immer zufrieden gewesen . Diesmal muss ich leider etwas meckern : Sommersalat war total trocken und hatte kein Dressing . Schade . Und Erdbeeren grad mal 3Stückchen . Hätte da bisschen mehr erwartet . Daher 2 Sterne weniger . Ansonsten zu empfehlen und komme auch wieder .

Wenn gute Lebensmittel, mit viel Liebe zu einem unvergesslichen Genuss verarbeitet werden, dann ist man bei Tommi im Feinkost!

40 Minuten keine Bedienung weit und breit!

Schön in der Hafencity gelegen...Meine Blaubeer Torte und der Cappuccino war sehr gut...Der Leberkäse mit Brötchen war Recht groß und sehr schmackhaft..Leider gab es keine Speisekarte am Tisch...und auch keine Bedingung...die Bestellungen wurden vom Küchen Ausgang gerufen...die Preise waren noch okay...ein Besuch lohnt sich
