Everything was fine! It wasn't the best fish sandwich in town, though. That's what they advertise. The fried fish was frozen :(

The fried fish sandwich was super delicious, crispy, warm, with remoulade. It came very quickly. Really good, in other words. Ordering is a bit confusing if you're sitting outside. (You have to remember your table, order inside, and then it's brought outside.) But it's pretty simple. Now for the problem: The beer keg was empty. The waitress said it would take about 15 minutes and it would have to be replaced. We waited longer for the beer. The waitress put ice in the beer herself because the new keg was still warm, of course. There was no carbonation in the beer either. We were then given a new one, warm and without ice. The service was generally friendly, but the price-performance ratio wasn't right in this case. Training is needed here.

The food is delicious, with a huge selection! Top-notch service and a very friendly welcome. The atmosphere is very nice and you feel at home. I personally recommend this place.

The fried fish was very good. Service was okay. The beer was too warm for the price and had ice cubes.

We were walking along the promenade and saw a sign saying "Best Fish Sandwiches." As tourists, we obviously had to stop by. And we weren't disappointed! Truly delicious fish sandwiches and other really good dishes, too. The service was absolutely top-notch; everything was top-notch! A fantastic first experience in Hamburg.

While strolling along Sandtorhafen, we saw a list with the phrase "Best fish sandwich in Hamburg," and out of curiosity, we spontaneously decided to try it. The Bismarck sandwich and fried fish sandwich were truly delicious and reasonably priced, too. From the waiter to the manager, everyone was very friendly. It was a truly enjoyable experience for us.

Really good fish sandwiches! And other North German-style dishes. Classic seafood with fries and a delicious, surely homemade remoulade. Down-to-earth cuisine, no frills. The appetizers are also highly recommended. Only a 5-8 minute walk from the Elphi, practically a real insider tip.

We were a little late for an event at the Elbphilharmonie. But you saved the day: friendly, fast, and delicious. I highly recommend the fish sandwich and fries. The remoulade that goes with the fries is homemade and amazing. Thank you!

The currywurst is a joke for a large portion of 22 euros, cold sauce, cold sausage complained then the same sausage was fried and came back to the table lukewarm, the sauce too. It's a shame but we won't be back.

We had an excellent meal here yesterday, so we ended up here again today. Yesterday fried fish and poultry. You had to pay an extra charge of €3 for fries, so it was left with boiled potatoes. The color and taste was strange, unfortunately not freshly prepared. At €19.50 that should be fine. Today we tried the currywurst with homemade sauce. On the table after 5 minutes! Everything except the fries was COLD, went back to normal, now it was lukewarm. Tip the normal size 1.5 sausage, large = 2 sausages. Too bad, not here anymore.

The food was very good, especially the own sauces are highly recommended. Only the tartar sauce was pretty tasteless. Unfortunately, the service was very disappointing. When you sit down outside, you can see that there are no tickets available and that orders take place at the counter. The ordering system with numbers and barkers is also a bit annoying and, above all, chaotic. TL:DR: Food very good, service is in your own hands

Expensive, but really good currywurst The prices are quite high, but the currywurst was really exceptional - I particularly liked the sauce. The sausage itself also tasted great. The staff was ok, nothing special but ok. If you're willing to spend a little more, you'll get a really good currywurst here.

Does it have to be that way? Why does the owner always park in a private underground car park with an absolute no-parking policy? Multiple speeches fade into nothing.

The food was very tasty beforehand. Service was mostly friendly. What I would like to suggest for improvement would be for the service to come by at least once and ask if the food was tasty. The location appeared tidy and clean. Maybe it's because the restaurant just opened recently. We'd love to come back.

We only ate snacks, but they were really good. The avocado bread has a great topping, the cake with raspberries is a dream.

By chance we discovered this nice restaurant while walking through Hafencity. The pan fish was very tasty, we also got extra mustard sauce, the fried potatoes sizzled very tasty in a small cast iron pan, the salad was crispy and fresh! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Gladly again on the next trip to Hamburg!!

A real highlight in the Hafencity! I went to Feinkost Hafencity with my girlfriend and we were thrilled. I had the North Sea crab roll absolutely fresh, richly topped and seasoned perfectly. My friend tried the Matjes Hausfrauen Art and was just as impressed. You can simply taste the quality and attention to detail. The service was warm, attentive and authentic, you immediately feel welcome. And the location? Right next to the Elbphilharmonie with a view of the water, it couldn't be better. A real culinary experience that we will happily repeat!

Great restaurant with a great selection of food and drinks. Both the lunch menu and the evening menu are varied and the food is freshly prepared and tastes very good!

We have now tried various types of delicious cakes and some of the main courses. The quality is always right and the portions are large. Especially with the large portion of fried fish, you should be very hungry or eat it with two people - see photo. Since we always order take-out, I can only rate the service and ambience to a limited extent, but the staff is always very friendly during the short interactions.

This store is simply great. Every time I'm in HafenCity I have to come here. The food is really delicious - you can just tell that the cooking here is done with love. Especially when the weather is good, the balcony is a real highlight, super cozy! And the team is always friendly and correct. I feel totally comfortable here every time.

The food was very tasty. We had a Hamburg salad, a fish roll and the fried fish. All three things are highly recommended. The portions were really plentiful. The service is also very friendly and accommodating.

Waren zum Mittagessen dort und haben im oberen Stockwerk gesessen. Unsere Getränke wurden auch dorthin gebracht, aber unsere Speisen kamen nicht. Habe dann nachgefragt und erfahren, dass man nicht wusste wo die Bestellung hin sollte. Bedienung tat es sehr leid und war mega freundlich. Essen kam dann ganz schnell plus ein paar Leckerbissen aufs Haus als Entschuldigung. Omas Senfeier waren superlecker, Pommes prima mit hausgemachtem Ketchup, leckere Dips. Wir würden wieder hingehen.

Really good place, good prices and friendly and welcoming staff. There were two of us and we both think the food lacked a bit of spice, but we are aware that we are both big fans of highly spiced food. But apart from that, I would absolutely go back here and enjoy a good meal in beautiful surroundings.

The food was average at best , very aggressive waiter and high prices , mildly scamish business activities such as leaving drinks on the table and not telling you it costs money , disappointing.

We ate Shakshuka, a fish sandwich with salmon and croissants with homemade jam, super tasty and made with love. Thank you for the hospitality. The welcome champagne is the icing on the cake 🫶

The best cake in Hamburg & very tasty coffee!

Very friendly staff. Fresh preparation of herring rolls with crispy lettuce and fresh carrots as a base on the matjes roll. The Matjes ear is buttery and delicious. The price is very moderate for the size and surface. I can't remember eating such a great herring roll. While I was waiting, I was able to admire the diverse cake counter. Everything made in-house. It's worth stopping there.

Today I went to the Hafencity delicatessen with my family. We had a fried fish with fries, ravioli, a hamburger panfish and the Jägerschnitzel was really delicious and we will come back.

Great at lunchtime, same thing in the evening, but at least a good alternative near the Elbphilharmonie before the concert.

Very tasty, inexpensive and quite good quality, large selection. Who wants huge portions, like me, very tasty fried potato pan with diced bacon, onions with cucumber salad, olives, thank you Sherif Hopi.😃

The servers are very nice and welcoming, unfortunately the organization of the service they receive is really not intelligent. In fact, you order and pay at the entrance like in a fast food restaurant.... however it is not "fast" at all. There were two of us. My husband got his dish after 30 minutes...as for my order...well that's when I learned that the dish I had ordered and paid for was no longer available. So I requested a refund because the other dishes did not suit me. Coffee was offered to us. The boss (maybe) offered several times to offer me another dish free of charge to apologize for the inconvenience. It was very kind and commercial of him. However, I had already pecked from my husband's plate. So I didn't accept his offer and simply left when my husband finished his coffee. Apart from that, the place is in my opinion too noisy and poorly organized. In fact, the dishes are not brought to the tables at the same time and some had finished their plate while their friend had not even had his yet. I think it would be appropriate to think of another organization, more traditional, which would prevent guests from eating out of time and especially servers from running around to find out whose plate they have in their hand.... it's a real marathon...

I was here on Lunch and it was phenomenal. I got Hamburger pannfisch and it was so delicious. The food was great, wait time short, atmosphere was nice and the staff friendly. Very nice visit. Thumbs up👍

Fish sandwiches in a nice atmosphere

We went here for cake after visiting Elphi. The service was friendly but understaffed, we had to wait a long time. The cake was delicious but not a highlight. It was quite uncomfortable and smelled very strongly of food being prepared from the other restaurant next door. At least I wouldn't sit down in our spot down the aisle again.

A great lunch without a long wait. Good and varied lunch menu.

Very noisy shop if you sit near the entrance. The table was very wobbly, the light wasn't turned on and where there was salt on it, there was pepper in it 😱. The vegetarian dish “fried potatoes with scrambled eggs” on the menu was served with diced bacon. We won't come here again.

We had some time for coffee yesterday afternoon. As soon as we entered, we were warmly welcomed by everyone working there. With the homemade cake, we had no choice but to try it too. You just have to eat it. In any case, it wasn't the last time we were here.

Always authentic and just like mom’s! It's great that there's something like this next to all the Hibster restaurants. So if you fancy German cuisine like it used to be, definitely give it a try. Always delicious and always packed with lots of cookies! There is also food to take away...the managing director Thomas loves his shop and his food and his customers! Thank you for the many delicious lunch breaks and the attentive team! You are 6 stars!

After a long tour of the city, we ate creamy potato soup with scampis. Delicious. The service was always friendly, courteous and helpful.

Not everywhere that says delicatessen on the label has it in there. The gentleman who took the order was nice. The food, however, was horrible. There were four of us. Three people left the food because it was so inedible. Seating a joke and locally dingy. A disgrace for these prices.
