Hans provided very service-oriented service. Salad, bread, and sauces were free for the starter, followed by a nice glass of tea. The food was plentiful, appetizingly presented, and very tasty! Highly recommended! :-)

The best restaurant experience (in Hamburg) in the last 15 years!! The selection wasn't extensive for me (a vegan), but I had already considered that. The atmosphere was super pleasant, with comfortable seating, music, and design... really nice! The food was incredibly delicious and authentic!! All the spices used, the quality of the dishes, and the variety of offerings delighted me... pure ecstasy 👌🏿The service is super attentive and simply perfect. I especially recommend Qasem's service!! Qasem is refreshingly attentive, courteous, sincere, and humorous... a real people person. Enjoy and thank me later 😉

Definitely worth recommending. We were there spontaneously, seven of us, and the tables were immediately pushed together. There was a delicious salad, bread with two sauces for starters, and a free tea afterward. My kofte kebab was super delicious, a generous portion; I couldn't finish it. Our waiter, Hans, was super accommodating and super friendly. It was simply a wonderful evening there. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely go back.

Food was not packed after two requests. We had a cake with us for a birthday and were only allowed to eat it if we paid “their cake price” per person. Whether that makes sense remains to be seen...

I waited 5 minutes at the door to be seated and was ignored by more than one waiter, while several were just chatting with each other. Finally someone told me that I could sit wherever I want, but there were obviously no menus at the tables, so I knew I would be waiting another 5 minutes to get a menu, so I just left and ate somewhere else.

Absolutely recommended! The kebab is really tasty – tender meat, great sauces. The staff is super friendly. The only negative point: The snack bar is quite small and there are hardly any seats, which are usually full.

I come here regularly - the kebab is super tasty and the price-performance ratio is just right! But my highlight comes afterwards: a visit to the restaurant for the incredibly good cake is a must! I've tried almost all of the cheesecakes (except the apple ones - apple pie is just not my thing) and I have to say: they all taste fantastic. Plus a large pot of tea and a piece of cheesecake – heavenly! The service rounds the whole thing off: I would particularly like to mention Qasim - a very friendly and attentive employee. You simply feel welcome and in good hands here.

Disappoinment… we were set to enjoy a nice Dinner and had our little dog with us. First and after asking whether it was Ok to enter with dog, we were seated and choosing the menu. Then a new waiter came and asked us to leave because of the dog and argued that dogs were not allowed in their Turkish restaurant. Frankly said this was really disappointing…

What an interesting place. Everything is fresh and you can watch it being prepared. I loved being here.

The restaurant consists of 2 parts. The first part is a restaurant where a lot of meat dishes are offered. But there are also pasta dishes and coffee. Here you have to take into account the waiting time. We were in the other part which is a classic kebab shop with 8 seats. The portions were very large for the price and the meat was good. Here you can find both chicken and beef and pizzas. The staff was friendly.

We were looking for something to eat late in the evening and could practically see directly into the restaurant from our hotel room. The decision was made quickly. When we came in we were immediately greeted by a nice waiter and taken to our seat. Every service was quick and attentive, polite and friendly. We thought the food was so good that we went there again for dinner the following day. I can't understand all the other reviews here. The music was a bit too loud at times for my liking. If we didn't live so far away, we would probably come more often.

My wife and I were in Hamburg for a long weekend. There was this restaurant under the hotel. Since it looked quite tasty, we decided to have dinner there. We were treated very disparagingly right at the entrance, saying everything was full and we were told to find something else. It should be noted that 50% of the tables were empty at this point, no reservation signs on the empty tables, etc. We then decided on another restaurant and will probably not give it a second chance due to the poor treatment.

The best cheesecake in Hamburg I have eaten here, I am very satisfied and the service + service is extremely good, it is definitely guaranteed that you are satisfied. I recommend the blueberry cheesecake!

Just had dinner there with a work colleague. Great service, extremely fast service, there was a maximum of 10 minutes between the order and the starter and the main course also arrived very promptly afterwards. The food is really tasty and the portions are large enough. Simply great in terms of price-performance ratio. Even after the meal, the service was very courteous: packing up the leftovers was no problem and questions about the dishes/dips were answered in a friendly manner. Clear recommendation!

It's a shame that you have to eat from a plastic plate in the restaurant. The food wasn't good. We ordered grill plates. Meat was on the grill too long. The service was a disaster. Our table remained dirty between meals. Very unfortunate.

Initially we were greeted nicely at the door and were not only served poorly but also rudely by the waiter at our desk. Our visit to break the fast dragged on, some of them didn't get their food on time and one visitor even didn't get her food until the end. Not recommended for large groups. In the end, rescue came from HANS service - thank you again! (incredibly helpful and friendly!!!) who was able to at least put a smile on some people's faces. Far too many tables and a lot of noise.

Fantastic Iftar experience at Maza d’Or I'm totally thrilled! We were there for Iftar, and even though the shop was completely booked, we received our food right on time to break our fast - without any delay! The Afghan cuisine absolutely convinced us: we had Mantu, Chopan Kebab, Dopiasa, Adana and a mixed grill plate - every single dish was fascinatingly delicious. ★★★★★ The drinks were also unusually tasty: we had Raspberry Mosquito as well as black and green tea. I was particularly impressed by the special tea: Kaymak Çay – an absolute recommendation! The dessert was simply indescribably delicious. The variety of cakes and künefe was overwhelming and a perfect end to this wonderful meal. I would particularly like to highlight the outstanding service: despite the fast, the staff were full of energy, incredibly friendly and attentive. They asked several times whether everything was OK and whether we had any further requests. I felt like a queen! A huge thank you to Maza d’Or and the entire team – we’ll definitely be happy to come back again and again!

Unfortunately, the service here was once again a disaster. We only got our food after almost an hour (!) and only after we had to remind the waiter and we informed him that everyone at the table was fasting. Instead of apologizing, he went on the defensive and said that “everyone here has to wait so long and that everyone here is fasting.” Some of the customers around us arrived later than us and still got their food before us. Unfortunately, it has happened repeatedly that the waiters here behave incredibly unfriendly and stroppy towards their customers. Perhaps service training would be useful here.

We waited over 50 minutes for our food. But that's not the unpleasant thing, it's the waiter's reaction when we pointed it out to him. He only reacted rudely and was annoyed that other guests were also waiting. We are all human beings and can understand one another. It sometimes happens when it is very crowded that it can take longer. But dealing with it was very unprofessional and made us feel uncomfortable. All further interactions were also very unpleasant, just such weird vibes. The interactions were also often fleeting; you talk to the waiter and want to order something and he runs away. I really can't recommend this restaurant. There are restaurants in Hamburg with this type of food, but they taste better worldwide and have a pleasant atmosphere

Love Masada food. It give a family vibe with good music and outstanding customer service. If you want an afternoon tea with a friend this is the place to go!!

The restaurant is very beautiful and the food is good, but the service for us was terrible. We are not from Türkiye or Germany, we speak English and a little German but no one made any effort to understand us. I was with my daughter, they gave us a table right at the entrance when it was very cold, and there were plenty of seats available. The attendant, a little older, gray hair, glasses, didn't say a word all the time and in the end he improperly and intentionally charged an extra that was never ordered. He didn't show me any invoice or bill, he just brought the card machine and turned his back, but I realized it was wrong and asked for the receipt. He gave me the money back without saying a word, like Sorry!! It was terrible service, they should be ashamed of treating customers like that!! We wanted to share some food and they gave us plastic plates to eat on!

I celebrated my birthday here and it was just really nice! The service was great – super friendly and attentive. The food was incredibly tasty and freshly prepared. The waiting time was also pleasantly short, so we were able to enjoy the evening to the fullest. A particularly nice surprise was the gesture for the birthday child - a really great gift! Staff throws out 8 people at table because other guests don't have space. It's a shame for the bad experience even though the food was delicious. Next time, please train your staff not to rush guests who leave good money.

We reserved a table at the Maza d’Or in Hamburg Billstedt for an 18th birthday party with around 20 people. The reservation was scheduled for 4:30 p.m. During our stay we were surprisingly informed that we only had two hours to eat. Since some guests arrived a little later, the overall time was very short. After exactly two hours and a minute we were asked to pay quickly and leave the restaurant as other guests had already been waiting for a table for 40 minutes. Some of us couldn't even finish our meal in peace before we were basically thrown out the door. We were also threatened that we would have to pay an extra €50 per person if we stayed longer. However, when we checked the restaurant's rules, we couldn't find this rule anywhere. The service was okay overall, but seemed hectic and sometimes disorganized. However, it is not our responsibility if the restaurant does not coordinate its reservations better - that is management's responsibility. Because of this experience I will not visit the restaurant again.

Life-threatening misinformation – irresponsible staff! My father has a severe sesame allergy and before ordering, he specifically asked the waiter whether there was sesame in the dishes. The waiter clearly denied this. So my dad ordered his food - and shortly after eating it, he had a severe allergic reaction! His whole body itched and it could have been life-threatening as he also suffered from kidney failure. When we asked the staff about it, they only asked later in the kitchen - and suddenly they said that sesame was included in the food! Such negligence is irresponsible and could have resulted in death! A restaurant that treats its guests' health so carelessly is extremely dangerous. If your own safety and health is important to you, avoid this restaurant! Anyone who eats here with allergies is putting their life at risk. We will continue to report this incident!

Life-threatening false information – absolutely irresponsible! This restaurant is a complete disappointment and dangerous for people with allergies! My father specifically asked the waiter if there was sesame oil in his food because he has a severe allergy. The waiter clearly denied this. But shortly after eating, my father developed severe itching, a rash and severe allergic reactions. When we asked the chef himself, we found out that there was sesame oil in the dish! This is not a harmless mistake, it is negligent and, in the worst case, can be life-threatening! Allergies are no small matter, and a restaurant that doesn't even know (or wants to know) what ingredients are in their dishes has no responsibility or professionalism. We are shocked by this negligence and lack of training for employees. If you value safety and honesty, you should definitely avoid this restaurant!

So the food is mediocre and very spicy. I had ordered Adana Kebap and I couldn't eat it because it was so spicy that I gave up my food, even the fries. 20€ for not good food. I didn't think the service was that good, we were there for a birthday and were treated so badly and rushed. We were simply thrown out even though we had a reservation. So we couldn't sing Happy Birthday or cut the cake. One waiter was just really rude, but the lady was correct. In 2023 I was also there for a birthday and I don't remember the food being that tasty either. The store is very overrated

We had dinner there last night. What can I say, it was a pure disappointment for me personally and also for my family. But what actually made me give a review here was the smell that was on the way to the toilet. Which is extremely unpleasant and ruins your appetite. All in all a huge flop as it looks very well maintained from the outside. The service wasn't unfriendly but not friendly either, rather annoyed and stressed 😥. What a shame ☹️! Once and never again.

I ordered dürum after work today and unfortunately it was really cold!

The food was mediocre to be honest. Unfortunately the service was a disaster. We had already eaten the starter and our main course came afterwards, but our drinks hadn't arrived yet. Our throats were already so dry from eating. We asked a waiter about our drinks and he just said that they had run out of glasses and that we should wait a little longer. We even briefly toyed with the idea of ​​going to a McDonalds across the street and getting drinks there. So sorry, but waiting 1.5 hours for drinks is not possible. That was our first and last visit.

We were there on January 18th. For dinner there, I reserved a table for 7 people, but it wasn't available and we sat squeezed together at a table for 6, the first annoying factor of the evening. We placed our order quickly and noticed that things were going very, very quickly. As soon as we ordered the drinks arrived, the iced tea in PET bottles took some getting used to, the tea wasn't hot, that was nothing. We ordered 2 starters, mezze and sambosa, and there was also salad, bread and dip beforehand, which was brought generously. We liked the starter, we just couldn't eat it in peace because we got our main course shortly after it was served to us, so the table, which was already too small, was still full and we had to tell the waiters Removing dishes without having room for them, 2nd nerve factor! Before we could start with the main course, we first had to make space and ask for the favor of the waiters, who then rushed to help us at some point and took the starter plates. Unfortunately, we couldn't eat everything and inevitably finished the starter. It was also drafting like crazy in the restaurant, so we were pretty cold. With outside temperatures of -4 degrees, there was neither a cozy nor a comfortable atmosphere. There we were at a train station, hectic, mass processing and for us a reason not to go there anymore. The food tasted good and was plentiful, but not all components were hot as they should be. A dish that we chose based on the mushrooms came without mushrooms, and the eggplant couldn't be found either and I would have liked to have known that beforehand, if half of it couldn't be prepared because these products had run out. 3. Nerve factor! When I asked for the bill, the waitress came with the card machine and showed the amount to be paid. I couldn't check it and I wasn't given a receipt. This is absolutely out of character and not possible at all. It's a shame I have to say, they can cook but the rest is absolutely impossible! I was in a really bad mood when I left there and I have to say that there was no dessert because it was cold, busy and just annoying.

I've eaten there twice now, both times I ordered lamb dishes. I'll keep it short: Food: Lamb tastes like nothing! Ordered lamb shoulder once and lamb shish kebab once, no taste, nothing that tasted like lamb! Taste -5! Service: clouded and unmotivated. And I don't let a waiter decide for me when I want to order my dessert and eat! When I got my main course, I wanted to order dessert straight away, to which the waitress said, finish eating first, then order dessert! Ambiance: nicely decorated, pleasant to sit. All in all, it's all a joke! My recommendation: avoid this place! No photos taken as my dish wasn't photogenic at all, and that for €25 NEVER AGAIN!!!

I was there last night and there was a long black hair in the rice I ate. I was immediately shown this but then received fries in the same container where there were leftover rice from my pre-order. Honestly!!! I'm not interested in paying what we had built in full for a meal that I couldn't even finish. We didn't receive any other form of accommodation; it was even a shame to apologize properly. Will avoid this place in future…

We visited this restaurant a few days ago and had mixed experiences. The positive first: the food was good! The taste, quality and presentation of the food was totally fine, and there really isn't much to complain about here. Unfortunately, our impression was significantly marred by the unfriendly service, particularly by a certain waiter. As other guests have already reported, we noticed that this waiter was extremely questionable when it came to billing. After I asked for the bill, he directly gave a total without presenting the bill and demanded payment. When I asked repeatedly, he finally brought the bill and immediately apologized for having given the wrong amount - the actual amount was about four euros lower. The problem: It didn't seem like an oversight, but more like a deliberate ploy. The waiter stood there while checking the bill, seemed impatient and waited for me to pay instead of giving me the time to calmly examine the bill. If I hadn't been attentive, he would have gotten almost ten euros more with a tip. We went straight to the manager who was there to report the incident. He took our complaint seriously and we hope there are consequences. However, the bitter aftertaste remains that something like this even happens in a restaurant. It is a breach of trust with guests and I strongly recommend always asking for the bill and checking it thoroughly before paying. Conclusion: While the food was great, the unprofessional and questionable service clearly detracted from the overall impression.

Were on Saturday November 23rd, 2024 around 5 p.m. I ordered 1x turkey skewer plate and 1x chicken skewer plate for 17.90 euros each including 2x black tea for 1.90 euros each. Unfortunately I received 2 chicken skewer plates, which isn't so bad because I also like to eat chicken. But in the end I was charged 42.60 instead of 39.60 euros. That's 3 euros too much and I only noticed it later. I'm even sure that the waiter told me 41.60 euros as the price. In the end I was debited 42.60 euros. He deliberately wanted to steal from me. Your waiters should learn to show the amount on the payment device when you pay by card. I hope your boss kicks you out.

I bought cheesecakes there today and they were all delicious. Above all, the new Dubai Cheesecake, which wasn't for sale yet (thanks to the colleagues who sold it anyway) is an absolute blast! Super creamy and perfectly sweet. A real highlight that you absolutely have to try!

Yesterday I visited this restaurant for the first time and unfortunately I was very disappointed with the way I was treated by some of the staff. Right from the start I noticed that the tone was not very hospitable and there was a lack of attention for the guests. In several situations I felt treated disrespectfully and unprofessionally, which greatly affected my overall impression. For a restaurant with this standard and potential, I would have expected much more friendliness and a professional tone. In my opinion, respectful service is the basis for a positive guest experience - regardless of how stressful the operation may be. I hope that you take this feedback seriously and see it as an opportunity to improve the quality of service. Unfortunately, my overall visit to your restaurant left me disappointed and I hope this will be different on a future visit.

I normally enjoy eating here and would have given a five star review. But today was one of my worst experiences. We ordered a grilled platter for 3 with fries and bulgur. The bulgur was spoiled and we reported it and were treated like we were beggars trying to get free food. The waiter continued tasting and told us it was fine with him. The other waiter was very unprofessional and dismissive. I'm really disappointed.

Had dinner here with family on a usually busy Saturday. I ordered Beyti and the other 2-person plates. It was incredibly delicious!! With one of the best restaurants in Hamburg for me. One star deducted because of our seat. Unfortunately, we were sitting right in front of the entrance and very cold air was constantly coming in from outside. Maybe. Can you make a non-automatic door out of it instead of the automatic door because unfortunately when the outside door also opens there is a lot of draft. Otherwise top ambience, service as well. Of course there is a lot going on from time to time but the waiters were nice too.

I was in the separate area where there were kebabs and co. gave. I ordered a kebab plate. The kebab plate actually only consisted of salad and fries and a small amount of meat. It was the first kebab plate I ever had when I was still hungry. Unfortunately it is not recommended at all.

One of the worst experience I have ever had from my this visit. Waiters were so rude and racist. I was with two other families and we had children's. They were so rude that our children's got scared. When I reported this to owner he was even more rude. I will never ever recommend any one to visit this restaurant ever again.

I was a regular customer here once a week! Unfortunately, unpleasant things are piling up for me at the moment! I vomited three times after visiting Mazador, but I was still there three more times after this incident. Of these three times, I had to let the food go completely back. I then got three baklava but no warm food! Nevertheless, because I like this restaurant, I went there again. I wait 10 minutes for the menu even though there are hardly any visitors, my meat was raw, my friend orders Qabuli without raisins, she gets Qabuli without raisins and without carrots and half raw meat (she always orders without raisins but she still got carrots every time) the starter came with the main meal! I'm really used to better service here! I think that's a shame, I loved being here so much! I had to wait 30 minutes until I finally got the bill.
