overpriced and the burgers are getting smaller and smaller

The food is good, of course the prices are too high. The only bad thing is that all those picking up are given priority over the guests waiting in the restaurant. Many guests complain. But nothing happens. We would come much more often. As do other guests. Those who don't feel like waiting that long. Unfortunately, the tables are often not wiped. Often too few staff or unmotivated. Especially those in the grill area

Delicious burgers on good buns. Much better than the big brands. And for the same price. Eating with a knife and fork, and your food in a normal plate with drinks in glass glasses. Just as comfortable, just as much more durable. During rush hour, wait a little longer (25 minutes).

Very nice service and good burgers

After the renovation everything is a bit more busy and doesn't really invite you to sit down. But the hamburgers are still solid and tasty. Portions of fries are manageable.

The price-performance ratio is somehow no longer right. 18 € for a fast food burger, which is delivered through the store on porcelain. Too expensive for the portion. The shop is nicely decorated including the option to sit outside.

Very bad and the employee is the worst you can imagine, he is rude and disrespectful. Today Friday at 9:30 am the employee is disrespectful and I cannot recommend this at all.

Had my burger with regional meat for the first time today. The patty was very dry and I didn't like it. I don't know if Patty is always like this or not. The mini cheeseburger was, as always, deliciously juicy.

The burger with fries was OK but nothing more. I don't like the system that calls out street names at all. I think it's better with the alarms that buzz when the food is ready.

You shouldn't eat here with a 30 minute break. It took 20 minutes from order to production. We're just talking about a burger! Burger was tasty, fries a bit soggy.

Ambiance, service, taste as you wish. For me personally the best burgers in the city. Overall, highly recommended.

Unfortunately rising prices with declining quality and smaller portions. It used to be great, but today it's unfortunately already a price tag for premium fast food. I can go to a real restaurant for the same price.

It was very busy this lunchtime, but the service was quick and friendly. Self terminals available. Tables clean. I waited about 13 minutes for the food 👍 Food very tasty as usual.😋 Unfortunately, the portions are getting smaller every year. Toilets clean. S-Bahn station right next door. Approx. 1-2 minutes walk. Parking options limited. Gladly again at any time😊

Jim Block offers a good selection of burgers and a cheesesteak. You can order at terminals and receive a piece of paper with a street or place in Hamburg instead of a number. This is called up and can be found at the top of the invoice. The food tastes good and is freshly prepared, but my roll did not remain stable and unfortunately quickly became soggy due to the sauce. I also think €13.90 for a mini cucumber salad consisting of 10 cucumber slices and a sandwich is simply too much. The menu would have cost an additional €5 including additional side dishes and drinks. The staff is very friendly here.

Had a burger at JB today. I happily waited 25 minutes for my burger. Unfortunately it was too dry, not enough sauce, the burger bread was cold and the meat was lukewarm. Maybe today we just had to go faster because the queue was too long, unfortunately at the expense of JB quality. Otherwise I was always satisfied, today I left JB very dissatisfied. Don't come back for a while.

Unfortunately, I'm just passing through Hamburg and can't come back any time soon, but after a recommendation from a friend, I went there and was very positively surprised. Rarely have I been so excited about a small burger shop and at such a low price. I liked Jim Block's food so much that I ate dinner there every day for the rest of my days. So the food was great. But who came up with the nonsense about the street names on the order??? Instead of a number like in every comparable store, there is a street name on the receipt, which is then “called” into the customer room when the order is ready for pickup. Unfortunately, the lady who was entrusted with this task was far too quiet for a mere mortal to be able to hear her through all the noise. Why not just display the street names on one of the countless screens hanging above the food counter? This would simply solve the problem. This made the stay very stressful. Not recommended!!!

Boring, bad service and bad quality of food, not only for the price - in general. The staff is unfriendly and they close before the closing time.

Good Jim Block with friendly staff. Directly at the S-Bahn station. There is an option to replace the beef patties with chicken patties at an additional cost.

Very tasty burgers and the sweet potato fries are super tasty. Fast and clear ordering at the terminal. Everything is finished at the same time. The furniture is simple but comfortable and nicely decorated. Staff very friendly and helpful. Price/performance completely ok.

Overpriced: 15 euros for menu... but ketchup is an extra 80 cents? Burger cold.

Jim Block in Othmarschen was always a good location that we enjoyed visiting regularly because the food was always good and the staff was nice. However, a few weeks ago there was apparently a change in staff, which made the entire experience suffer greatly. The staff (apart from the chefs, who continue to do a fantastic job and deserve more recognition in my opinion) are very hectic, fuss over customers and don't set proper priorities (example: burgers are already put on the tray and get cold , instead of standing under the heating lamp, the drinks are missing and the next order is being processed, even though our order has not yet been completed). In general I don't like giving bad reviews, but I would like to come here again in the future. Update 11.09. The staff was apparently restructured very quickly and with a very positive effect. The employees are there again with a smile and it shows. The food is again very good as usual, no one complains and you feel good again.

The burgers are getting smaller and smaller every year, and you can't get enough of them anymore. I miss the good old sesame buns... And those codes on the toilets at Jim Block restaurants are just annoying. It's good that the JB sauce is vegan and you can also order the burgers vegan.

Die Burger waren gut, aber die Pommes waren leider nicht frisch zubereitet. Sie waren lauwarm. Für diesen stolzen Preis kann man besseres erwarten.

The citizens are always great but the location, right at the bus station and right next to the S Bahn, is unfortunately not that nice! But with the small outside area behind the shop, it's nice even in summer.

Sorry, that wasn't a masterpiece. Fries, probably warm, lukewarm and stuck together.....bahhhhhh with lots of black spots on the ends.....it could definitely be better....I got the Grana Padano kick from the "Italian" burger sorely missed GUYS YOU NEED TO WORK ON YOURSELF.

You can't do much wrong. Always good and quick It's a shame that the 180gr patty is no longer available. The normal one is a bit lost in the bun and two are too much. A pity The BBQ sauce was changed to regular steak sauce.

The service and advice was excellent!!! Like everywhere else, burgers are overpriced, so only 4 stars for the food. But they were super tasty. Ambiance is virtually non-existent.

We were stuck in a traffic jam for ages because of the Elbe tunnel and ordered takeaway food. The burger and fries tasted great. We particularly noticed the fruity-tasting ketchup.

Jim Block is the ideal place for a relaxed evening with friends. The modern, cozy atmosphere ensures that you immediately feel at home. Last visit I tried the JB Classic Burger with extra cheese and it was outstanding. The meat was juicy, the rolls were fresh, and the fries were super crispy and flavorful. Particularly noteworthy was the limited “Mediterranean Crunch Salad” – a refreshing salad with cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, olives and a spicy feta dressing. A small weak point: the waiting time can be a little longer on busy days, but the fresh preparation compensates for this well. Overall, my visit to Jim Block was very satisfactory. There are four out of five stars for the excellent quality of the food and the friendly service. Definitely worth a visit.

It is a fast food place, with somewhat high prices. The place is pleasant, the service is quick and the atmosphere is casual and familiar. It serves its purpose, but it doesn't impress.

Wide selection of delicious dishes. There are also one or two specials. Unfortunately the milkshakes are iced and not creamy. Completely self-service.

Jim Block actually offered a high-quality fast food alternative with great products for many years. Good concept. There are always longer waiting times on weekends and have been acceptable so far; the team (mostly) makes a happy impression. There is now a growing feeling that Jim Block is more of a delivery service with possible “on-site consumption”. Today, Sunday, once again an endless queue of delivery services, in addition to a long queue of hungry people... our take away food ordered online was forgotten and we stood for 20 additional minutes until we received the food: The burger buns are totally soft and everything is just lukewarm and carelessly slapped together, the sweet potato fries are almost cold and the additional beef strips for the Caesar salad cannot be defined visually or tastefully, looks more like a crushed burger patty..? Something isn't going right. Borderline and very unfortunate.

Maybe the best burger I've had in Germany. The restaurant, too, was clean, efficient, and comfortable.

As if teenagers were running the restaurant... The salad was cut way too coarsely, km drowned in dressing, only 4! HALF cocktail tomatoes, the bread completely soggy, the 'normal' burger not even the size of a palm. No thanks.

The food was great, but you could forget about parking

I actually find the system very chill. Something between Burger King and Peter Pane. Burger was pretty tasty. Prices for drinks are sporty and even a portion of mayo unfortunately costs extra in the menu. All in all, it's not a cheap undertaking, but it's something you can do!

Food and staff good as always, but what was the goal of the renovation? McDonald's ambience?

Vegan burgers pretty tasty! The vegan ice cream was also delicious!

We wanted to treat ourselves and were unfortunately disappointed. Among other things, a Philly cheesesteak was ordered for €13.50. In my opinion it was quite small, carelessly prepared and not very tasty. I thought everything would be mixed nicely and then “basted” with enough cheese sauce. Unfortunately, as you can see from the photo, that wasn't the case. And then the cucumber salad. Four slices in a small plastic container. Four thin, transparent slices!!! But the dressing was good. A JB mini cheeseburger was also ordered. Everything was perfect,... joking aside, I didn't know there were such small burger buns. And that for €4.40. That's pretty intense. Then we wanted to order baked potatoes with it, but that wasn't possible, there were no more, we would have had to wait 30 minutes. So we use normal fries as a replacement product, when we unpacked them they were sweet potato fries. Oh man. A pity. And all for over €50............Note to my first review: Jim Block made it up to me with a voucher for a new chili cheese steak. This time everything was delicious and not too slapdash. Thank you for that.

Burgers and fries were delicious. Cola in a glass and not a paper cup. The plastic cutlery didn't have to be there. Simply ask if you would like cutlery.

Mega tasty, top selection, upper class, often full, the fries with the potato peel on them give the impression of being cut yourself - it would be cool if they were thicker, the ordering columns often have problems with their card terminals, very small portions.

The price/performance ratio is no longer right. Hardly a burger is under 10 euros anymore - add 5 euros as a menu, then with 2 people you can quickly reach over 30 euros for 2 burgers. Years ago there was also a small coleslaw salad - not anymore... And ketchup or mayonnaise costs a whopping 80 cents. It does not work....

This is how you imagine a Block Burger House! Everything is freshly prepared and then called out immediately after completion! As is usual these days, the price is of course now in the upper range! But there is nothing wrong with the food!

Food and ambience are ok. A young service person (rather tall and blonde) was very unfriendly and rather cheeky when asked. We wouldn't be happy to come back if we weren't treated nicely, that's why you don't eat outside!

Yesterday we were in Othmarschen at the Jim Block, I had a Caesar burger that had soft ruccola and unseasoned meat as ingredients. It's a shame, we expected more from it.

Mein JimBlock. Einfach lecker Burger in Block House Niveau. Dazu eine tolle Umgestaltung..wirkt alles wie aus einem Guss. Der Hamburger Flair ist sehr spürbar. Tolles Team und faire Preise runden das Angebot ab.

Angenehme Atmosphäre. Man fühlt sich hier wohl und bekommt einen sehr leckeren Burger. Es schmeckt sehr ähnlich wie in den Staaten. Klasse!

Leckere Burger und knusprige Pommes haben wir dort gespeist. Wir waren an einem Sonntag zur Mittagszeit dort und der Laden war nicht so voll und es war keine Schlange am Tresen. Getränke werden in Gläsern und Essen auf Porzellan serviert. Es war schönes Wetter und man konnte draußen sitzen. Der Laden und die Toiletten waren sauber und die Mitarbeiter freundlich. Wenn man eine leckeren Burger essen will kann ich Jim Block emphelen.

Echt abgebaut. Früher habe ich die Pommes geliebt bei den letzten drei besuchen waren die zu hart oder nicht durch. Burger sind noch in ordnung. Aber wie alle teuerer geworden.

Die Burger sind sehr lecker und das Konzept der Selbstbedienung gut umgesetzt. Die Preise sind angemessen für die Burger. Die Pommes kann ich sehr empfehlen mit der hauseigenen Mayonnaise. Die Räumlichkeiten sind sauber und gepflegt. Kartenzahlung ist möglich.

Trotz der frischen Zubereitung und vollem Laden war das Essen schnell fertig. Die Pommes waren knusprig und der Burger lecker. Hier komme ich gerne her.

Gute solide Burger, nicht viel mehr aber auch nicht weniger. Atmosphäre ist leider etwas Busbahnhoflastig, was an der äußeren Umgebung und der durch die großen Fensterscheiben beobachtbaren Bushaltestelle direkt vor der Tür liegt man könnte sagen, gehobenes McDonald's Niveau. Die Preise sind dem angepasst. Extrapunkte fürs meist sehr freundliche Personal und Service, es ist praktisch jeder Wunsch irgendwie machbar; für Allergiker ein großes Plus.

Solides fast food mit schnellem Service

Das Essen war ok, denn der neue Burger hat nicht geschmeckt. Service: haben 10 min gewartet bis einer unsere Bestellung Aufnahm. Ambiente: Kinder die, die ganze Zeit die Treppen herunter gesprungen sind und das sehr laut. Nach 30 mi habe ich auch was gesagt, da wir nicht im Kinderland sind.

Leckeres Essen und eines der wenigen JimBlock Restaurants in dem man einen Platz findet. Parkplätze sind allerdings Mangelware, daher empfiehlt sich die Anreise mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln.

Auf beide Seiten des Gebäudes waren die Türen auf und es zog extrem. Essen war gut.
