Hofbräuhaus in HH is always a good choice.

We had a group package. Everything went smoothly. We sat at large tables around wooden benches. That's not comfortable for everyone for an entire evening. The food was the same for everyone. Three courses; it was good. A duo performed; very loud, not always in tune, and repetitive. Like a "Prosit."

If you're craving a knuckle of pork or a good schnitzel after all those fish sandwiches, this is definitely the place for you.

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. We sat down with six people and were completely ignored for the first 15 minutes. The waitress seemed stressed and unfriendly. What we found particularly annoying was that one male waitress was constantly criticizing and loudly yelling at another. Doing that in front of the guests is simply unprofessional and unpleasant!!! The food was a disaster in our opinion. The cheese spaetzle was completely overcooked and had far too much cream in it, making it absolutely inedible. The roast pork didn't even come close to a real roast pork. The knuckle of pork was okay. The location alone impressed us!

Yesterday I ate a super delicious knuckle of pork. With the weather outside, I had a half-liter of beer with it. It was a perfect afternoon.

Rustic location, as you'd expect. It wasn't busy in the afternoon. Service was generally OK. Food was hearty, as it should be. Price/performance OK.

A very large beer pub that's a great place to hang out. We were there on a Saturday night with live music, German folk music, and football on big screens.

All the food was delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive. There was live music, and the atmosphere was very fun. Reservations are required, especially on Fridays and Saturdays.

We were there today with two friends from Flensburg, and we had a wonderful day. The service is simply fantastic, and we'd love to come back.

I dont know why i bothered to come. The currywurst just normal. The beer was good, but at what cost if the service is reaaaallllyyy bad. We were waiting so long to get served and the waiter? He just didnt care and was grumpy all the time.

Not very friendly, I didn't really understand if they were foreigners! The waiters were awkward, some sending us to one table and some to another, and after seating us they told us they had to close because they were tired and lacking waiters 🤷🏻‍♀️ basically disorganized and very strange!

It is definitely the atmospheric and authentic German pub with tasty and reach choice of beers, schnaps, (and other drinks), snacks and various dishes, including sausages, (big) schnitzels, and pork knuckle. A lot of seats outside, and inside. ...I wonder if everybody would be served in time? )) It is a nice place, with a pub-like atmosphere, German-style cousine, but sometimes a busy personel.

The food was great except for the Kaiserschmarrn... it was super greasy and not caramelized at all.

We had their famous Haxen which didn't disappoint. 🤤🤤🤤 so crispy and juicy. Also their Leberkäse is so yummy! Plus the atmosphere outside is very nice. 🥰

We were very disappointed this time. It was fun at first until the shift change. And the new waiter was unfriendly and harassed us. We were asked to vacate our table and sit at the bar, even though there were still plenty of free tables. We've always eaten and drunk well, and then we're treated like this. We won't be back anytime soon, if ever.

Atmosphere: GreaT first impression, wooden decorations and beams around, large area, high ceiling wide tables, local Bavarian vibe Service: polite, fast, flexible for English Food: big dish. Delicious, juicygood beer. Big glasses As two normal-eating people, and as we dont like to waste food, or leave leftovers behind, we ordered one dish and one appetizer and shared. Was more than enough for us , plus the delicious dessert.

We were on a short break in Hamburg this weekend. As always, we took the time to visit the Hofbräu Wirtshaus Speersort in the city center. A delicious light beer and a snack of white sausages for lunch is always a hit. The service, food, and drinks were excellent as always, and we were able to enjoy the bright sunshine in the beer garden. It was a great day!

Schnitzel was way too hard and not good. Service was also very rude. Water is crazy expensive.

If it's half empty on Saturday night, August 16th, there must be a reason. I ate a sausage shaped like a slice of sandwich bread with watered-down boiled potatoes and drank half a liter of warm beer... oh, and they even treated me like shit.

Went here to have a beer without food. The beer is really good, and the service is fast. My impression is that the food is worth trying and there was quite a lot of traffic 5 stars because they serve 1 liter beers for a reasonable price

We were here on a Sunday evening and there were a lot of people and a good atmosphere. The schnitzel I ordered was good. Be sure to order the mushroom sauce as a side dish. It made it extra delicious.

Even one star is too many! Worst service. The waiter was extremely unfriendly and listless from the start. He then threw beer mats at us, saying we should hand out the drinks ourselves. When we paid, for good reason, refused to tip, the waiter lost his temper and cursed us. We asked for the manager. Unfortunately, he wasn't particularly accommodating either.

We stopped at the beer garden and enjoyed a delicious beer. A meal we ordered initially arrived incorrectly (it can happen and was quickly changed). The chicken schnitzel with potato salad was okay, but definitely pre-made (frozen) The Tyrolean Gröstl tasted bland and reheated, probably made with meat from the day before. We ended up paying, including the tip. The comment that the Gröstl wasn't special and tasted reheated was met with something like: That's what guests always think of when they're asked to pay. Cheeky, after all, everything was already paid for!!

Once again under the direction of Ms. Maria Wucherpfennig, a manager at the Hofbräuhaus, and the attentive and efficient service of Ms. Anja Maßmann, I was able to enjoy this culinary delicacy: the famous knuckle of pork! The best restaurant of its kind – a fantastic kitchen – lots of light and spacious rooms – the food is delicious, wonderful – combined with the teamwork – the crowning glory of all. Ms. Maria Wucherpfennig places particular emphasis on customer satisfaction and perfection in detail, which, above all, defines the creation of this delicious gastronomic delicacy. Thank you, Ms. Wucherpfennig and Ms. Maßmann. Congratulations on this success!

Very friendly waiter. The drinks and food came quickly and were, all in all, fine and reasonable for the price. It would probably be very loud at full capacity.

Quaint ambience, friendly service – with minor drawbacks The service at the Hofbräuhaus am Speersort was friendly and quick – we were served promptly, which made for a pleasant start. For our starter, we had Obatzda (traditional German sausage) with bread – very tasty and a really decent portion for the price. The main course, meatloaf with potato salad, was solid in flavor. The meatloaf was good, but the portion was rather small. I personally wasn't impressed by the potato salad – unfortunately, it was quite bland and a bit mushy in texture. The overall price-performance ratio was okay. The ambiance is quaint and cozy, but also quite loud – which fits the mood, but not ideal for a quiet evening. All in all, a pleasant visit with both ups and downs – okay for a hearty evening, but with some potential for improvement.

Rude unfriendly & sexist manager.

There were five of us (a family of three) at the Hofbräuhaus on August 2nd, around 2 p.m. It wasn't very busy. Since it was too confusing for us to see which tables weren't reserved, we looked for a waiter/waitress. They told us we could choose as long as there wasn't a "reserved" sign on the table. This wasn't much help! After we took our seats in the keg, we waited for a waiter to clear the glasses from the previous guests. After a long wait and repeated waving, someone came and cleared them. After another wave and a long wait, we were able to place our orders. The waiter was cheeky when he corrected the statements about "Maß" and "Halbe." Unfortunately, this wasn't done with a wink, but rather cheeky. He wasn't friendly to us in other ways either. When we got our order, there was one potato salad too many (which was charged) and the four dumplings we had ordered were completely missing. The dumplings were delivered upon request. The pork schnitzel was very dry, the potato salad bland, and the knuckle of pork was delicious as usual. The chicken schnitzel was okay. Three dishes for five people, with the request for two more plates. These, too, only arrived after repeated requests. Further service was only provided after tireless waving, waiting, and calling for the waiter. The service, regardless of whether male or female, young or old, was neither friendly nor service-oriented. We didn't tip here. A shame for all parties...

We loved the place. It's the real experience of Bavarian Brauhaus. Beer is excellent and they have the local speciality Dunkel beer. Food portions are also quite huge. The original Schnitzel with wild berry Sauce makes a perfect combination. Scwine haxe is also delicious. I recommend visiting here!

Good meal but a mouse was right in the middle of the tables during service on a Saturday evening. In addition, we had a not very friendly waiter who was unpleasant throughout the service, fortunately his colleagues were more friendly.

Rump steak for lunch on Wednesdays. Beer in the evening! I can also recommend the half ham hock.

The atmosphere reminds me of a school cafeteria—it's not cozy and the noise level is extremely loud. You wouldn't want to sit here for long. The food is plentiful, but unfortunately, the roast beef was very well cooked. I ordered it rare according to the menu, and it was cooked to perfection. We also didn't like the fact that you have to pay extra for the Wiener Schnitzel, sauce, or cranberries. Cranberries are simply part of the experience. There's also an extra charge for changing side dishes. It's also a no-go that guests have to pay to use the restrooms.

Unfortunately, the sauce on the Jägerschnitzel was completely unacceptable. Wow, that was disgusting – it tasted like sour broth. Canned mushrooms mixed with some kind of powder and then served as a sauce is truly disgusting. Unfortunately, the schnitzel was covered in it, so I had to force it down. Service was okay, but unfortunately, the waitress had already started having trouble with the deodorant at lunch, which I found a bit unpleasant. That's not necessarily always your fault, but it's still in my memory. I wouldn't come back after that experience.

Delicious food. Little variety. But traditional and delicious. Super unfriendly waiters. We ordered too much food. A lot, and they didn't warn us. Plain beers. Extra noisy, full of groups, when they have space to relax. I'd go back for the pork knuckle... nothing else.

We happened to go into the restaurant this evening. Upon entering, we asked a waiter if we could choose a seat. He answered, rather unenthusiastically, with a yes. After we sat down, we waited in vain for a waiter. Instead, the waiter chatted with various customers and happily took the cash. Repeatedly waving didn't help, as he mostly looked at the floor when he wasn't with other customers. After 30 minutes of waiting in vain, we left.

A huge brewery in a typically Bavarian style, with a very nice atmosphere and an outdoor seating area in the summer. Service was very good, the food was good, and the prices were OK.

I've become almost a regular here, thanks in part to the app and the excellent service. You also feel at home here. As for the food, there's good and not-so-good. But that's a matter of taste. What I really liked was the portion of knuckle of pork. What I didn't like was the sausage salad. But a brewery is known for its drinks, and that's fine, except for the price. The lunch menu tasted quite acceptable. The pretzel I ordered separately, however, was terribly dry. I don't know if it's supposed to be that way, but for me, a pretzel has to be fluffy. The service seemed stressed, and there was little warmth.

After more than 30 minutes, we still hadn't been served. Instead, the wait staff engaged in animated conversation and acted rudely. This has absolutely nothing to do with a more relaxed atmosphere.
