Afghan Restaurant in Hamburg

We celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary and were very pleased. Everything was perfect. The food was excellent 👍🏻

We had a party there with about 40 people. Unfortunately, the buffet was completely inadequate—the quantity would have only been enough for 25 people at most. Many guests went hungry. We were also told that the host would have to bring a plate once—which is quite unusual for a party. Despite the already limited amount of food, they ended up demanding an extra charge because they allegedly had five more guests than originally agreed. Overall, the value for money was disappointing, and we had imagined the process to be more professional.

The food was delicious, and all the dishes were excellent. The service was excellent.

only the rice tastes like normal rice, otherwise I ordered grilled meat and chicken, they taste like everything except meat

I celebrated my engagement at the Afghan Restaurant and we were very happy. It was a small celebration with 80-90 people, but we had enough space. The food tasted very good, we tried a bit of everything and were more than satisfied. Their service was also great, really very hospitable and very respectful. Each of them really did their best to brighten our day. Thank you very much, I will always recommend you :).

Unfortunately, a very disappointing experience. I pre-ordered my food in time for iftar, but just 10 minutes before iftar, I received a call saying that the delivery would be delayed by at least half an hour, or even longer. This is absolutely unacceptable! Especially at such an important time, you should be able to rely on punctual delivery. Instead of offering a solution, I was simply put off. Very poor service – I will definitely not order from here again!

We were invited to a party there over the weekend. The room is very small and old. The food was very bad. The chicken skewers weren't cooked through. I don't even know what the meatballs tasted like... The food in general was small and cold. Many other guests thought so, too. Decoration: zero stars Service: zero stars Food: zero stars Room: zero stars, etc. I will never book anything there; I would be wasting my guests and my money.

There are only onions in the mantu. The minced lamb skewers and rice weren't good either. sry but that really doesn't work.

Probably the best food we have ever ordered via a delivery service. It was outstanding and beautifully presented. The wait of an hour and the prices are definitely worth it.

Unfortunately, the food was over 2 hours late and mediocre to bad. Not recommended. Can't understand the good reviews. Very unfortunate.

I can't judge the ambience. I ordered via Lieferando. The food came really late, without any prior notice of the delay. Nobody feels responsible for compensation. They said you should complain to the driver. He understandably denied guilt. The quality of the food is more of a snack bar quality, there are definitely better alternatives. All in all a very disappointing experience.

Well, I'm an Afghan myself and I know whether Afghan food in a restaurant is delicious or not and I can tell you that this catering and restaurant is the best in Hamburg, I guarantee you that. I have been living in Hamburg for 29 years and I can guarantee you that it is the best food and the best cuisine when it comes to Afghan cuisine in Hamburg, thanks for the great service

Delicious food and friendly service

Our celebration at the Afghan Restaurant was great! The food tasted really good and the service was great. The people there were very nice and took good care of us. We had a really nice time and will definitely come back!

It's a shame about this location/rooms, there is actually no restaurant there! I wonder how the rent can be made there...

There is no restaurant here. There has never been one since the “restaurant” was founded. There is also no menu hanging outside; the chairs in front of the door have been chained for years.

Schnelle Lieferung durch den netten Herren Zihar und zu dem Essen kann ich nur sagen, habe noch nie so leckere und auch warm gelieferte Gerichte gegessen. Verdiente 5 ⭐️

Ich bin sehr zufrieden! Sehr liebe Mitarbeiter. Gehen auf individuelle Wünsche ein. Setzen alles direkt um. Vor allem bei Bestellungen für mehrere Personen einfach nur perfekt, weil man eben sein eigenes Buffet zusammenstellen kann. Habe mein Geburtstag dort gefeiert und ich war einfach mehr als zufrieden. Tolle große Location auch für Veranstaltungen!

Essen kam mit einer leichten Verspätung aber der Fahrer war sehr freundlich, wir hatten einmal Putenbrust Spieß 10 Stück und Hähnchenbrust 10 Stück mit Reis und zusätzlich Karaie Kartoffeln die in meinen Augen nichts anderes sind wie Salzkartoffeln mit orientalischen Würzung und das für den Preis absolut überteuert die beiden Hauptgerichte waren sehr spartanisch nur Reis mit Fleisch sehr sehr trocken ohne Soße und um es noch trockener zu machen war Brot mit dabei natürlich auch ohne jeglichen Dip oder Soße für den Preis hätte ich woanders viel besser essen können... war meine erste und letzte Bestellung da ich eigentlich sehr oft persisch esse und den Vergleich dazu hatte war das afghanische Essen totaler Reinfall

Das Essen schmeckt sehr gut, die Bedienung ist super nett. Außerdem eignet sich das Restaurant perfekt für kleine Feiern.
