Mauritius Ulm in Ulm

I was there for the first time yesterday. Hats off to you for the fantastic service. The lady who took our order was absolutely amazing. That's exactly how I imagine service in a restaurant should be. I thought it was fantastic. Since I don't eat everything, she did a great job and made me happy. It's very rare for someone to be as attentive to guests as she was there. And always a smile, even asking if everything was okay or if we'd like anything else... The food was also delicious. The cocktails made by my colleagues were also delicious. So guys 😉 keep up the good work. I'll definitely be coming back. Big compliments to all of you who work there. 👋 Ines

We were in Mauritius for the first time, the first impression was okay, the location looked friendlier in the pictures on the internet. The service was initially quite friendly, but changed over time. No empty bottles & glasses were cleared away, the empty plates were left on the table for quite some time & it wasn't as if there wasn't time for that, the place was quite empty. Some of the food has high prices, we had a pizza and two plates of chicken and rice salt for just under €20. Unfortunately this portion was not justified for the money, we went home hungry. The chicken was just okay, nothing special, the rice, which was supposed to be softer mixed with quinoa, was also okay, but just not good! However, the Parma pizza, which is actually always something special in terms of taste, was just tasteless! The cheese smelled old and tasted that way too. Very unfortunate... The drinks were good, but you can't go too wrong with Aperol and Lillet. It will be our first and last time in this restaurant.

Were there for the first time in Mauritius yesterday. We ate the vegan burger + the included fries. The portion of fries is completely sufficient and tasty, the burger was good, but not a treat. The price: €18.20. The atmosphere is appealing and when the weather is nice you can also eat outside. The lady with the tattoo on her right elbow definitely deserves 5 stars - very friendly and great service. Thanks for that.

Almost 20 euros for plain, unseasoned fries and raw chicken

Very nice evening.. delicious food, very nice staff. Unfortunately the windows were open and it was very cold.. But that can happen... it was really crap out there too... I'm looking forward to the next time

My opinion: Terrible! All ready-made stuff, really disgusting, completely overpriced for the quality. Any American burger chain is better. The employees are under video surveillance, the atmosphere is cheap, like a bargain shop—one visit, never again!

Food is okay but nothing special and quite expensive. Waiting time of 40-50 minutes for food in a half-empty shop is therefore not recommended!

The service wasn't good. The waitress was unfriendly and wore her hair loose, which in my opinion is not allowed in a restaurant. We waited 1 hour for our food (pasta, pizza, Mauri Bowl etc.). There were 9 of us and we visited the restaurant during a lunch break and made a reservation beforehand. We receive a discount of 1.50 euros per person through work. When it came to cashing out, the snippy reply was that it was taking too long and that she would now have to cash in at another table. We also observed that people at another table group decided to have their food packed instead of eating on site as planned. It seems like the restaurant is understaffed.

Simply great, nice location, delicious food, great cocktails, nice service. Simply consistent and good. As a little hint. If you are unsure about the choice of dessert or cocktail, ask Levo. The man has the ability to look at you and recognize what your little heart desires. I just say “Nutella topping” 😘 thanks for that 👍

Thank you again! Came relatively late, but the kitchen was still open, but the cook had left shortly before. Still got a great pizza and a good cocktail! The staff was great! If I'm in the area again, I'll definitely come back!

We've been here many times now and it's always delicious! The food is of very good quality, the service is super nice and very attentive, the food comes quickly and the atmosphere is really nice. This restaurant has now become one of my absolute favorite restaurants and I can really recommend it to everyone!

The first impression of the restaurant was very warm, tidy and friendly. The service was very nice and she has sales talent ;) Our personal tip... Caribbean Grilled Chicken! 👌🏻 and then fritas with a scoop of vanilla ice cream! The restaurant is highly recommended.

The young waitress with the orange hair and bangs is one of the nicest and most engaging waitresses I have ever encountered. We have been to this restaurant several times and have been served by her every time. Their friendly service and attentiveness simply make every visit that much more pleasant. Conclusion: super friendly, super competent and definitely deserves a raise! ;), you shouldn't lose someone like that.

Were there on Sunday with the Schlemmerblock. The food was really tasty, friendly service and the price/performance ratio was totally ok!

The cheeseburger tasted really burnt. Fries and the cheese dip were great. Next time I'll only have fries or something similar.

Very tasty food and friendly service. The sweet potato fries were very crispy and the homemade lemonade was extremely fruity and refreshing. The restaurant is very nicely designed. Only the lighting in the sanitary area was too dim for us.

I ordered squid with sweet potatoes. The calamari was hard as a rock, as if it had been fried twice. The waitress said they were fried and therefore hard and normal. She then only wanted to charge for the fries. She couldn't then use the voucher from the gourmet block to use it. Since I definitely won't be coming back, I didn't want to use the voucher again but insisted on releasing the fries for the voucher. My girlfriend had the Piri Piri Chicken. That didn't taste like anything. Safe without marinade or salt. The service is overwhelming. 2 people are simply not enough!

On December 14th, the three of us were in Mauritius in Ulm. The evening started pleasantly: the food was good, the service was initially friendly, and we were able to enjoy our time. But towards the end everything changed. A waitress suddenly became rude and claimed we wanted to pay when that wasn't the case. Apparently this was done on purpose. Coincidentally, my friend was standing in line at the entrance to get our exact spot, which we had already taken. She later told us that the waitress said to her: “I acted as if they wanted to pay to get them up anyway. They don’t get up.” After I found out, I went straight to the waitress to ask her about it. But instead of apologizing, she simply denied the statement and remained unreasonable. We had eaten there and had a drink afterwards, but it was obvious that the team wanted to get rid of the guests quickly as soon as they stopped consuming. This behavior was disrespectful and completely spoiled what had previously been a pleasant evening. Very disappointing!

I really enjoy going to Mauritius Ulm. The restaurant is beautifully designed and offers plenty of space for delicious food and drinks in a nice ambience. It always tastes very good, I especially love the schnitzels. All the delicious cocktails are particularly recommended. I'm already looking forward to the next visit.

Online order prices are ridiculously high and the website isn’t working properly. Food is alright. But the ordering process was pretty frustrating.

We went to the Mauritius Ulm for the breakfast buffet and were absolutely thrilled. The selection was excellent: a balanced mix of classics and innovative dishes that pleasantly surprised us. Everything was fresh, lovingly prepared and tasted simply great. We were particularly impressed by the price-performance ratio - you rarely get so much quality for such a fair price. The ambience and friendly service rounded off the visit perfectly. We will definitely come back and can highly recommend the breakfast buffet!

Was there for a birthday. The breakfast buffet is huge and there is something for everyone. The selection is huge and it tasted really good. The pancakes are particularly recommended. The service is quick, but unfortunately they walked past us a few times when we wanted to order something to drink. Not a big deal as there was a lot going on. Buffet price for €18.90 is great. Gladly again!

We had the pleasure of visiting Restaurant Mauritius in Ulm and it was a wonderful experience. The atmosphere is welcoming and cozy, ideal for a relaxed meal. I ordered the Grandisimo salad, which was fresh and extremely tasty. My husband chose a pizza, which also tasted excellent. Both dishes were a delight for the taste buds. The service was friendly and attentive, which rounded off the overall picture. Overall, I can only warmly recommend Mauritius in Ulm. We will definitely come back!

Before you play extremely loud music next time, please google what “overload” means in this context. My fucking ears hurt at the heights... So far I haven't had any problems at festivals or other locations.

I often eat here with my family. You can easily park around the corner. The food is very tasty and the drinks are great. Great team too. And recently also the breakfast, which was delicious and plentiful and really had something for everyone.

The service was top and that alone made it worth coming back. The drinks and cocktails are something different, very creative and really good. The food, however, has room for improvement. We had squid with sweet potato fries. The fries and the sauces were great, but unfortunately the squid was not tender, rather rubbery. We'll come back and test the rest :)

The breakfast was very tasty. Everything really fresh. A real feel-good atmosphere. The waitresses are so nice. We then stayed longer and ordered a cocktail. Also really good. We'll definitely be back. And even though it's in the middle of Ulm, it's quiet there and you don't notice much traffic. A really nice oasis in the middle of Ulm. Find yourself top. Keep it up. 👍😊👍

As far as we know from Mauritius, it's pretty good. If you order a main course, children up to 10 years get a meal for free. There is a small play area for children outside. Service is friendly. Card payment possible.

It starts at the reception, you immediately feel at home 🏠The owners are super nice, warm and down to earth. That's how it should be when you go out to eat 👍 personal, friendly service and a family atmosphere, you immediately feel at home. The food is excellent, just the right spice, like on vacation. Unfortunately I can't recommend the classic cheeseburger, way too much sauce. The sauce wasn't bad, but I couldn't taste anything different from the burger and the bun got completely soggy very quickly. Very unfortunate. Otherwise very nice decor and friendly staff, maybe next time with a different dish.

I've been to Mauri several times now and always had a good time! The dinner is great. And the breakfast buffet in particular is very varied and offers a large selection. The staff is very friendly, accommodating and entertaining (but not intrusive)! The ambience is modern and the toilet area is clean and uniquely decorated with a jungle look and music.

So underwhelmed and disappointed with the spread and state of food for the buffet.. strongly discourages people to avoid going there anytime after say 11am for the buffet cause all you get is what’s left over with lots of empty plates and bowls.. I hardly had anything edible there.. flies everywhere.. the place seemed empty with a few patrons with many kids.. another reason for me to avoid.. staff were pleasant and helpful to the point when asked to refill the buffet they were helpless saying the chef said the what’s there is what they have..

Context: ordered a drink and was bitter for my taste. I requested if they can put sprite, the Manager came and discouraged it. So I ordered a different drink (seen in photos from lilac to mango). Without informing us that we had to pay for the 1st drink, i enjoyed my 2nd drink as you normally would. At the end they gave us the Bill with both drinks in it. I would have no problem paying for it if they brought back the bitter drink, but they just left it in the bar. They SHOULD have informed us before I requested the change of my drink, then i would have just endured the other drink than paying for 2drinks or at least have the 2drinks on our table. With this said, we better be careful with this trick. Never going back there again.

We go to Mauritius every now and then during our lunch break. So that it doesn't take too long, we order the food in advance over the phone. The food is good, but not particularly creative. The offers do not change. The service is rather mediocre, not very fast and sometimes a bit unmotivated. What I like most is the ambience, it gives a bit of a holiday feeling.

Varied food...The owners and the staff are really great and take their time...The atmosphere is also great, whether inside or outside.

Exceptional breakfast buffet, but sensationally good. If you want to experience a slightly different breakfast, you can go on a journey with a variety of delicacies from different cultures. And everything is freshly prepared in the morning, even on Sundays. A real breakfast experience and my absolute recommendation. But be sure to reserve in advance!

We made reservations online for 5 people. Handling was relatively easy and uncomplicated. I ordered a Mai Tai on site (unfortunately it tasted a bit strange). The service person then said that the colleague had probably forgotten two ingredients. That can happen, but I would rather have a Lilleet Wild Berry. Another 15 minutes later I received a Lilleet Apriko, with the statement Wild Berry doesn't exist. I then enjoyed myself with some water. While the food was being served at the table, I saw my order and was quite disappointed. I ordered the Mauri Grill Platter for around 18 euros. I was served lukewarm sweet potato fries & 2 turkey skewers about 100 g per person. This for 18 euros? Then I had the idea to add some pinsa bread to the folder, which came about when we had finished eating 25 minutes later. Statement here: yes, we bake it fresh. If I had been happy to receive this information when I ordered, then this would not have been an option. Unfortunately I don't need the bread anymore because I'm already done. To top it all off, I was charged for everything and there was no apology or anything like that. The taste of the food was okay, but not so special that I would want to spend my evening there again. No thank you

Nice food and great service but right on a busy street..

Super nice and delicious breakfast buffet. Some other restaurants can give you tips on how to do this. Service very polite, helpful and competent. Everything that was tried at the buffet was very tasty, beautifully decorated and presented. The children's play area outside in the "beer garden" is also great and relaxing for parents. We'll definitely be back.

We are super dissatisfied, unfriendly staff, you pay 19 euros per person and obviously not outside on the right - where there can be games for children, buffet is small, so nothing to recommend!

Cool location with an extensive selection of food as well as a wide variety of cocktail creations (alcoholic and non-alcoholic). Yesterday we enjoyed the European Championship game in the open air on the large TV on the terrace and had a great evening. Happy to see you next time!

Overall a nice restaurant. The staff was very nice and polite. However we had to wait quite some time for our food even tho the restaurant was not even half full. (So i would imagine you would have to wait a lot on busy evenings) Also the salad was served together with the two main dishes we ordered instead of being served first. The falafel salad and the caribbean chicken were very delicious. Also the homemade bread they served with the salad was amazing. The fitness steak dish could use some improvements - more veggies, a bit more spices in the rice(the rice here was not as good as the one that came with the caribbean chicken) and a sauce maybe since the meat is a bit dry. The salted caramel cheesecake was super delicious, even tho it tasted more like white chocolate than caramel. The cocktails we tried were great.

The Mauritius is a very nice restaurant with a good atmosphere! Which of course also defines the spirit of the house! The boss is very warm and personable, as is the service, friendly and competent. I have rarely seen such a rich brunch. Especially if you have allergic reactions, you can still get your plate full of delicious things. There are different seating options, chairs, benches and armchairs for everyone as they like. The cocktails are lovingly designed, beautiful water bottles, etc. You can just tell how much thought goes into making the guest feel comfortable! A really successful offer all round.

Mauritius is a very nice restaurant with very tasty food. Schnitzel melts in your mouth, it's that well prepared. Chicken salad is simply top. The cocktails are always delicious. Price is also right. Very family friendly with a small playground for the children. Parking is very bad, but for good food it doesn't matter, you can also walk a few meters. We'd love to come back...
