Mauritius Ulm in Ulm

Wir hatten heute Datenight im Mauri und ich fand es ganz toll. Die Bedienung, ich glaube Klara hieß sie, war sehr nett und freundlich. Rundum perfekter Service. Das Essen war eine 9/10.. aber dadurch, dass es gechillte Vibes sind, eine echt gute Alternative verglichen zur Stadt. Ich komme wieder!

Wir waren 2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder und haben alle sehr gut und lecker gegessen. Sehr freundlicher Service. Wir kommen wieder.

Habe dort Geburtstag gefeiert und gefragt ob es OK ist wenn vier Kleinkinder/Babys dabei sind. Es hieß "Ja". Allerdings gab es dann nur zwei Hochstühle. Zusätzlich hieß es dann, dass die Kinder sich nicht in den Gängen aufhalten sollen, weil es wohl den Service störe.

Leckeres Essen / chilliges Ambiente/ toller Service. Preise sind absolut in Ordnung! Werden definitiv wieder kommen!

leider hat mir das Abendessen nicht gefallen. Besonders die schwäbische käsespätzle konnten mich überhaubt nicht überzeugen sie waren geschmacklich und von der Konsistenz her enttäuschend.

Ich hatte beim Stöbern nach einer Essensmöglichkeit da ich kurzfristig in Ulm übernachten musste das Restaurant infolge der überwiegend positiven Bewertungen gefunden. Ich muss sagen die Bewertungen sind stimmig. Ich hatte das Steak auf dem heißen Stein. Gutes Fleisch kurz vorgegart so das ich es auf meinen Geschmack fertiggaren konnte. Das Ambiente war Stimmig die Musik im Hintergrund passend und nicht zu laut. Der Service freundlich und schnell. Ok ich war um 17 Uhr vor Ort da war noch nicht viel los.

Mein Essen war absolut fantastisch. Ich bin so beeindruckt, dass ich bei meinem ersten Erlebnis von dort einfach jedem erzählen, weil es einfach gigantisch geil war. Unsere Bedienung der Herr war so nett so zuvorkommend und hat bei Spesen auch mitgemacht. Hat noch ein Ex Kiki gegeben. Jedem einfach weiter zu empfehlen.

Passendes Preis Leistungs Verhältnis, Essen war lecker und Service gut.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal im Mauritius und waren von der Einrichtung fasziniert. Es ist super gemütlich eingerichtet und wirkt sehr einladend. Der Service war freundlich und bemüht. Ich hatte zwei alkoholfreie Cocktails, die sehr lecker waren und eine Pizza Parma, welche ebenfalls geschmacklich Punkten konnte. Mein Mann hatte ein Steak, das wohl auch gut schmeckte und eine Nachspeise die in Ordnung war. Den Preis empfanden wir insgesamt als eher teuer. Hatten aber trotzdem einen schönen Abend.

Wir waren gestern das erste Mal vor Ort und müssen leider sagen, dass es vermutlich bei diesem einen Besuch bleiben wird. Wir waren zu viert um 18 Uhr dort, wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt und auch schnell platziert. Die Bestellaufnahme lief ebenfalls zügig und angenehm. Leider ließ der Service danach deutlich nach. Wir mussten knapp eine Stunde auf unser Essen warten. In dieser Zeit kam niemand an den Tisch, um nachzufragen, ob alles in Ordnung ist oder ob wir noch etwas trinken möchten. Währenddessen wurde die Musik immer lauter und lauter, das unterhalten fiel immer schwerer. Dabei fiel uns nicht nur an unserem Tisch auf, dass Gäste teilweise länger auf Getränke oder Aufmerksamkeit warten mussten. Gleichzeitig hatte man mehrfach den Eindruck, dass sich das Team lieber gemeinsam an der Bar aufhielt und unterhielt oder direkt neben der Bar in Sichtweite eine rauchen ging. Dadurch wirkte der Service insgesamt leider recht flapsig und wenig aufmerksam. Als das Essen schließlich kam, stellte sich heraus, dass es offenbar ein Missverständnis bei der Bestellung gab und meiner Verlobten das falsche Gericht gebracht wurde. Der Kellner versuchte zunächst recht aktiv, ihr das falsche Gericht „schmackhaft zu machen“ und sie zu überreden, es doch zu nehmen. Sie bestand jedoch auf ihr bestelltes Essen. Mit der Aussage „das dauert aber noch ein wenig“ stellten wir uns auf eine weitere längere Wartezeit ein. Mein Burger war geschmacklich gut, allerdings waren die Pommes leider nur lauwarm und das Bun kalt. Nachdem wir fertig waren, wurde der Tisch zudem nur teilweise abgeräumt. Die Soßenschälchen wurden halb voll stehen gelassen und auch leere Gläser wurden nicht mitgenommen. Im Großen und Ganzen war der Besuch okay, aber das Gesamtpaket hat uns leider nicht überzeugt, wiederzukommen.

Sagen wir mal.. naja.. Die Calamari waren schon 2x Tod. Zwischen Crunsh und einfach nur zu knusprig fritiert sind Welten. Geschmacklich wars in Ordnung, aber auch nicht atemberaubend. Der Service war einfach langsam. Wenn man schon äußert dass man nochmal bestellen möchte und der Service dann einfach weg rennt und noch 5 andere Dinge macht bis er 20min später mal deine Bestellung aufnimmt ist es nicht mehr in Ordnung. Kaffee kam, 15 min später dann der überteuerte Nachtisch. Als wir dann direkt zahlen wollten und äußerten dass wir schon wieder ewig warten müssten, sah man dem Kellner an, dass es ihm nicht gefiel. Die 3 male als er am Ende einen schönen Abend wünschte, haben es leider auch nicht mehr raus gerissen. Im großen und ganzen nett mal mit dem Schlemmerblock zu testen, aber nach dem Preis/Leistungsverhältnis das erste und leider letzte mal hier

Wir waren jetzt einmal zum Abendessen und einmal zum frühstücken (Buffet) da. Das Abendessen, bzw die Green Soul Bowl die ich gegessen habe, war enttäuschend. Sie schmeckte eigentlich nach nichts und war gefühlt ein Haufen Reis mit ein wenig drum herum. Der Brokkoli und die Karotte waren sehr hart. Gewählt mit Chicken, keine 20 Euro wert. Frühstücksbuffet war okay. Viel Auswahl und lecker. Leider wird das seit Dezember nicht mehr gemacht. Ambiente schön, Service freundlich. Parkplätze nur gebührenpflichtig in umliegenden Straßen.

Das Essen ist okay auch wenn vieles auf Convenience-Produkten basiert. Eine Strandbar ist noch nicht wirklich, da man weder Strand noch richtige Bar hat.

Also mir hat der Schnitzel mit Käsespätzle super geschmeckt! Tolle Bedienung! Gerne wieder!

Way too overpriced. You have to pay extra for everything, whether it's dip or garlic. The music is way too loud for a restaurant. The lighting in the restroom is very dim. I always liked Mauri's, but it's gone downhill.

A lovely restaurant with a touch of vacation atmosphere. The attentive staff is very friendly and charming! The food is freshly prepared and tastes great. The only downside is the high drink prices. €4.90 for a beer is unfortunately quite common in Ulm these days, but it's a nice way to stand out from the norm. Otherwise, there's nothing to complain about, and we'll definitely be back.

Nice, original decor. Unfortunately, the tables for two are very small. The service was very friendly. The food was quite good, but relatively expensive. But that's how it is almost everywhere these days. People go out less and less when everything is getting so much more expensive. :-(

We were there for dinner on November 7th. I ordered a steak, which arrived completely raw. I had to cook it myself on the hot stone (which cooled down after 10 minutes, leaving half the meat still raw). The fruit drinks were too sour and bitter. The service was friendly, but the food took far too long (45 minutes wait, 15 minutes for drinks). The meat in the burger was tough, and the chicken skewers were also dry. I wish I could give zero stars.

It's impossible to participate unconditionally in something like the Schlemmerblock and then try to rip off customers by mentioning on the spot that some dishes are excluded from the menu. That's neither legal nor fair to anyone. We accepted it and had to order something different from what we had chosen. The listless waitress responded to our question about why something like this wasn't communicated in advance with the simple words, "We can go somewhere else if we don't like it." She then tried to get us to order additional side dishes (besides the ones that already came with the meal) for an additional charge. We really do enjoy going out to eat, but it really makes you wonder if you're just being ripped off as a guest...

The food is truly delicious, and the price-performance ratio is absolutely perfect. The cocktails are delicious, and the ambiance outside in the summer is incredibly beautiful on the pergola, and the inside is quite pleasant as well. The staff sometimes seem a bit overwhelmed, but they remain friendly, and that's the most important thing.

In good weather, I only experienced the outdoor area. It's very stylishly decorated and exudes a very holiday atmosphere. The ambiance is really nice. However, since it's located right on a busy street, it's a bit noisy. I ordered the Caribbean Grilled Chicken and was very impressed. The homemade iced tea was also delicious.

I always feel comfortable here; the staff is friendly and the food is very good. The cocktails are fantastic. The terrace is outstanding. The food is always served with a heartfelt smile, which adds to the delicious taste. Children are also very welcome, and there are good dishes for them, too.

We had a fresh side salad for starters, which got us off to a great start. For the main course, we had Swabian spaetzle with turkey schnitzel – perfectly prepared, hearty, and truly delicious. We finished with puff pastry filled with milk chocolate and enjoyed vanilla sauce – a dream! We also had an espresso and the homemade lemonade, which was simply delicious. All in all, a fantastic experience, with superb quality and friendly service. A definite five stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ – and highly recommended!

We went to Mauritius with friends yesterday. The food was delicious and the cocktails were delicious. The only downside was that I found a metal shaving in my mojito. When I mentioned it to the waiter, they simply said it was annoying and that they would look into it. Unfortunately, we will avoid this restaurant in the future.

I've never experienced anything like this before! We had reserved a table for three people. After a 40-minute wait, our drinks finally arrived. Nobody seemed to want to eat. We left very disappointed and hungry. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it.

We were at Mauritius in Ulm with friends. The outdoor area was already full upon arrival, with several guests waiting. When we asked how long it would take to sit outside, we were simply told that it didn't matter whether we sat inside or outside; the wait was the same. There was no exact time given. We opted for an inside table. The drink menus took a while to arrive, and only because we took one from the table next to us. The drinks were brought promptly, but the food didn't arrive for over an hour. When we asked, we were initially told it would arrive in seven minutes, but in fact, it took over 15 minutes. The inside was now empty, and there were plenty of empty seats outside, so we moved. When we mentioned the long wait, we were initially contradicted, but then confirmed that we had indeed waited that long. The reason given was that we had a table of 30 people. However, in a restaurant of this size, there should be adequate staffing, or guests should be informed of longer wait times when being seated. The food was okay, but the process was disorganized and communication was inadequate. Unfortunately, it wasn't a satisfactory experience for us.

Long wait, 30 minutes for drinks – no food order taken. No response to eye contact or waving. Even while smoking, they didn't even suggest an ashtray. Sorry – but very poor service. The table was reserved.

After seeing an ad on Instagram, I was eager to try Mauritius. We each tried different dishes. I had a burger with extra avocado topping and sweet potato fries, and my companion had chicken skewers, sweet potato fries, and a cheese pizza bread. We both drank iced tea and then a cocktail. The food selection offers something for everyone, from salads, bowls, burgers, pasta, and steak. The dips and spreads on the burgers ranged from spicy to slightly hot, but were delicious. The chicken skewers were very soft and tender. The cocktails were also delicious, and there was a wide selection. We particularly liked the ambiance. In the summer, after 5 p.m., the sun disappears behind the buildings, creating a pleasant atmosphere, like sitting in a cocktail bar on the beach. It's beautifully decorated, and there's even a children's play area. Unfortunately, we were so full that we couldn't try the desserts, but they looked delicious too. The staff were very friendly and polite, and they do a great job. The price is debatable. It's average, like any other restaurant. We'd definitely be happy to come back.

We discovered this bistro through the "Schlemmerblock" (snack list). It was okay, but we wouldn't go back for full price. We had stomach symptoms after the meal. The place is stylishly decorated. If you like the Talahon atmosphere, this is the place for you. As a guest, you're addressed with the informal "du" (you), which is kind of a "hipp" (hipp). In the end, the "Schlemmerblock" (snack list) wasn't really useful.

The food was great, the cocktails were like a vacation in a glass – but the absolute highlight of the evening was the service. A young blonde lady who carried on with so much charm, attentiveness, and good humor that you almost forgot you were "only" in Ulm and not on some island somewhere. She was open to everything, was quick, friendly, and truly brought that certain something that turns a pleasant evening into an unforgettable one. You rarely see such genuine commitment. You had the feeling that someone here doesn't just work, they live and breathe service. In short: I've rarely felt so comfortable. Thank you for this special evening – I'll definitely be back. A wheat beer stirred three times; I'm shaking. Question: "The bartender stirred the wheat beer three times because the waitress couldn't get the drink 6 meters." Answer: "Foam is for the look, stirring doesn't hurt anything." Payment: "I'll have to pass on the complaint." Pathetic!

A good business model in an attractive setting, delicious food at reasonable prices, and interesting homemade drinks. We dropped in spontaneously and were courteously served by the very friendly couple who run it. We'd be happy to return anytime.

We went there for lunch. The service was unfortunately a bit rude from the moment we entered the restaurant until we left. It felt as if our toddler wasn't really welcome. They also gave each guest an ice cream for the journey home. We didn't, as we were there with a gourmet package. They actually said that only paying guests could get it. It's a shame that they discriminate between guests. The food was good and sometimes a bit unusual. The homemade drinks were also delicious.

A short vacation in Ulm brought us hungry to this extremely interesting restaurant. The food was wonderful and the service simply fantastic. We received wonderful advice on drinks, and every little question or request was answered with a smile. If you're in Ulm, you should definitely eat here! A little tip from me: Be sure to try the house-made garlic pizza bread! We'll definitely be back on our next vacation!

Reception wasn't very welcoming... If you open at 9:30 a.m., you should prepare beforehand and not pass the stress on to your guests. I don't think the price-performance ratio is justified. For these prices, I expect more, at least more friendliness.

We had another wonderful lunch at the restaurant today. Today we had the Mauri Bowl and the Caribbean Grilled Chicken, along with Coke, Aloha Peach Ice Tea, Cortado, Cappuccino, San Sebastian Cheesecake, and Cinnamon French Toast. We used our voucher booklet to get into Mauritius in Ulm after making a reservation. We were greeted at the entrance and assigned a table. Browsing the menu, we found what we were looking for. The food is delicious and freshly prepared. The service is friendly and courteous. We were pleasantly surprised, as we don't prefer fast food or chain restaurants. The only thing I would have liked was a beer from the nearby brewery.

We were there last Sunday (about 10 people). The staff were very unfriendly. We were greeted unfriendly at the door because we hadn't made a reservation (it was barely busy). So, I wouldn't recommend it! We were very disappointed with the service.

I was there for the first time yesterday. Hats off to you for the great service. The lady who took the order was really amazing. So that's how I imagine service in the catering industry. I thought it was really great, since I don't eat everything, she managed it really well and made me happy. It's very rare that someone responds to the guest like they did there. And always smiling every now and then to ask if everything was okay or if we would like anything else...The food was also really tasty. The cocktails were also delicious by my colleagues. We were in Mauritius for the first time, the first impression was okay, the location looked friendlier in the pictures on the internet. The service was initially quite friendly, but changed over time. No empty bottles & glasses were cleared away, the empty plates were left on the table for quite some time & it wasn't as if there wasn't time for that, the place was quite empty. Some of the food has high prices, we had a pizza and two plates of chicken and rice salt for just under €20. Unfortunately this portion was not justified for the money, we went home hungry. The chicken was just okay, nothing special, the rice, which was supposed to be softer mixed with quinoa, was also okay, but just not good! However, the Parma pizza, which is actually always something special in terms of taste, was just tasteless! The cheese smelled old and tasted that way too. Very unfortunate... The drinks were good, but you can't go too wrong with Aperol and Lillet. It will be our first and last time in this restaurant.

Were there for the first time in Mauritius yesterday. We ate the vegan burger + the included fries. The portion of fries is completely sufficient and tasty, the burger was good, but not a treat. The price: €18.20. The atmosphere is appealing and when the weather is nice you can also eat outside. The lady with the tattoo on her right elbow definitely deserves 5 stars - very friendly and great service. Thanks for that.

My opinion: Terrible! All ready-made stuff, really disgusting, completely overpriced for the quality. Any American burger chain is better. The employees are under video surveillance, the atmosphere is cheap, like a bargain shop—one visit, never again!

The service wasn't good. The waitress was unfriendly and wore her hair loose, which in my opinion is not allowed in a restaurant. We waited 1 hour for our food (pasta, pizza, Mauri Bowl etc.). There were 9 of us and we visited the restaurant during a lunch break and made a reservation beforehand. We receive a discount of 1.50 euros per person through work. When it came to cashing out, the snippy reply was that it was taking too long and that she would now have to cash in at another table. We also observed that people at another table group decided to have their food packed instead of eating on site as planned. It seems like the restaurant is understaffed.

Simply great, nice location, delicious food, great cocktails, nice service. Simply consistent and good. As a little hint. If you are unsure about the choice of dessert or cocktail, ask Levo. The man has the ability to look at you and recognize what your little heart desires. I just say “Nutella topping” 😘 thanks for that 👍

We've been here many times now and it's always delicious! The food is of very good quality, the service is super nice and very attentive, the food comes quickly and the atmosphere is really nice. This restaurant has now become one of my absolute favorite restaurants and I can really recommend it to everyone!

The first impression of the restaurant was very warm, tidy and friendly. The service was very nice and she has sales talent ;) Our personal tip... Caribbean Grilled Chicken! 👌🏻 and then fritas with a scoop of vanilla ice cream! The restaurant is highly recommended.
