We often eat at this restaurant. Everything is very tasty and fresh. There is a daily special (I recommend choosing it). Swabian dishes are also offered – very, very delicious! There is the fastest service I have ever experienced in this region. Excellent service and friendly staff.

Tasty food, friendly service, perfect overnight stay on the way to Austria

We stayed there for one night on our way to Lake Garda. The breakfast was very good and the price-performance ratio was good.

We go to the restaurant every year and are thrilled. Ms. Kopf serves us regularly and is a very attentive and friendly waitress. Good quality of food and super nice service!

It used to be my regular place. It has changed badly. The staff is friendly, the food is very good. Unfortunately not suitable for smokers. If you want to drink a coffee on the terrace, you are no longer allowed to light your cigarette. For me it's only possible to visit in winter.

This rest stop shows that things can be done differently in Germany. Maybe it's because it's more of a rest stop off the highway.

We were only there to rest, but the sanitary facilities with a shower cubicle were very clean.

Excellent overnight stay, good hotel with spacious shower, excellent room, very clean, dinner was also excellent, highly recommended hotel for an overnight stay on your way or back.

Hotel on the highway. Used for sleeping but not good for anything else. Ambiance mediocre Parking is easy and there are many free spaces available I don't know if I'll stay there again

It's off to a great start: 1) Hardly any parking space can be found 2) I was just told that "check-in from 4 p.m." means you won't get a room until 4 p.m. at the earliest, but only if it's ready by then... so it might be later... Since I have to make a phone call at 4:30 p.m., that's a no-go for me.

Short-term hotel, close to the motorway. Choose rooms on the internal side. Rooms to be refreshed.

Clean toilets, good food for tourists, hotel guests and drivers alike.

The service at the hotel was great! After my partner became unwell in the room, they arranged an ambulance and helicopter in no time so that he could be transported to the hospital as soon as possible. There was also a volunteer from the Red Cross present who they had called immediately, so that help was immediately available during the tense times in the room. When we were allowed to leave the next day, we were much later than the official check-out time and I wanted to pay extra. But they said that they absolutely did not want this. If my partner had to stay in the hospital longer, they would have kept the room available for us longer. Top service in such a bad time for us. Once again, thank you very much for the fast and good service and care for your customers.

Nice room and in a convenient location, right next to the highway. Delicious breakfast and friendly staff. Dogs are welcome.

Always our number 1 when passing through on the A7/A8. The Jakobsgrill restaurant in the hotel is world class. The cooking here is still really good! Price/performance is right here.

Rest 45 minutes in this rest area. Quite spacious. Trucks and buses can park. The toilet is clean. There is a hotel, but we didn't stay overnight. We're just taking a short break here. There are restaurants and cafes. The waiter served in a friendly manner. We ordered cappuccino, machiato and apple pie. Our order was served quickly. The cappuccinos and machiatos are delicious to ward off the cold air. The apple pie is also delicious. What is special is the boundary line between two provinces: Bavaria and Baden Wuertemberg.

In any case! Good value for money.

Conveniently located on the highway, respectively. truck stop. But no problem about noise. Good for transit. The small bar was open at night. There is plenty of free parking space outside the hotel. A small garage box could even be rented for little money.

The lady at the reception has no understanding of children! We were out very early in the morning and wanted to go to the toilet with our children, aged 3 and 6, to avoid “worse things”. Unfortunately, we were loudly and viciously refused entry! Unfortunately, the unprofessional receptionist did NOT point us to the public toilets in the same building, but instead sent us to the gas station, which was a few minutes' walk away. Anyone who has children knows that every minute counts here. I have never experienced such amoral behavior! Just a big disappointment, I can't recommend a hotel with such a guest-unfriendly service attitude! Unfortunately I can't give 0 stars, so 1 star.

Parking costs €4 per day if you park for several days, from the 6th day €3.

I had on January 5th. a family celebration in the Jakobsgrill. The table was beautifully set. The service was very nice and patient (especially with the children). The food came quickly and was very good. All in all, a successful lunch/afternoon. Thank you very much 🙋‍♀️🥳💐

For us, the hotel is especially good as a stopover on a trip to Austria from the Netherlands. Good clean rooms with a nice bed. Nice staff and fully equipped for people passing through or business guests. There is a good restaurant with reasonable prices and the breakfast is excellent. The hotel is located right along the main road, so you'll be on your way again in no time.

Unbelievable prices, really a complete disgrace...2 mixed side salads to take away, without service €27.50...!!! Truly unbelievable...that was the very last time!

Went to the Seligweiler restaurant for the first time today. Well located on the A8. Very good selection of food and drinks. Had schnitzel with fries and a mixed salad. Everything tasted delicious. Friendly staff so everything was great

Hotel and staff is good! But I find it sad that you don't even get a coffee if you leave early! As soon as you ask for a coffee you get the answer. Breakfast is available from 6 a.m.! They have a coffee machine and don't even point it out! And that for a room price of €135 without breakfast

The food is solid but nothing special. I would compare it to an upscale canteen. However, the waitresses are very friendly and helpful.

Went there for a birthday party. Lots going on and still great service

Tragic, incompetent service! The manager mixed up the invoice details (sent via booking) and brazenly said that she would not correct them because it was my problem, not hers. And when I insisted that I wanted the correct data she got from me, she switched to German language. I will definitely never go back there.

Terrible service! I arrived at the hotel at 1 a.m., check-in took over 40 minutes! No help, no contact with the client. It's unbelievable to approach a customer this way nowadays! I do not recommend!

I can't say anything about the room, but otherwise everything was perfect and well organized. I was here on business for a nationwide industry meeting. Anytime again, everything is fine.

We were just eating. The price (22€) for schnitzel with fries is simply outrageous! If only it had tasted good! It hasn't! Plus a small portion. Schnitzel was the size of nuggets. Overall, the portion was the size of a cafeteria meal. Tastes really bad. Schnitzel like you bought it from a discounter. You can't even taste pepper or other spices. So either you cook yourself or the prices have to come down.

Poor treatment, unfair, insulting, demeaning

Man, the restaurant has been around for ages and it's great how it has changed, I was there for a business meeting and we ate well, there is a hotel, seminar rooms, adjoining rooms, bistro and........ It's worth it, E Charging station with many charging stations including Tesla and Co. Gas station directly on the A 8 and easy to reach from the A/.

I was traveling here for work and booked the hotel as a trainer for a seminar. Meeting rooms, service, equipment and location are optimal.

We were satisfied so far. We had to charge our electric car on our trip to Italy and we combined that with an overnight stay in Selligweiler. There are many charging stations. The hotel is a bit older, but the rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. We had a delicious breakfast the next morning. The staff was nice and accommodating. We felt we were in good hands. It's perfectly located right on the highway. Close to Ulm, which invites you to stroll.

Sauna good, food good, service on Saturday evening totally overwhelmed and long waiting times unavoidable on Sunday and Monday too. It's better to take a more expensive room, it's worth it. Next visit will be in the week. Good transport connections and good charging options for electric cars.

Unfortunately my expectations were not met. We had dinner with 12 people. The roast pork in beer sauce with spaetzle didn't taste like anything, the spaetzle was watery. The schnitzel with fries was small and the amount of fries was manageable. The lentils were good and the salad was okay. For whatever reason, the special was watery. The service was very slow and didn't make it possible for everyone to eat at the same time. The sanitary facilities were fine and there was plenty of parking space. Unfortunately not recommended.

We had a pleasant stay at the Seligweiler Hotel. The wellness area was clean and sufficient, the rooms were clean and big enough for the two of us. The breakfast could have been a little more lavish, it was very busy in the morning. Otherwise everything is OK.

We have stopped by the restaurant several times a year for many years. The food was mostly good and the service in the restaurant was good. However, what we have now had to experience is outrageous, disrespectful and unworthy of people. This time we had to stop for a bathroom break in the morning. The young lady at the reception shouted at my mother-in-law (79 years old) that she wasn't allowed to use the toilet. It should also be mentioned that my mother-in-law has poor eyesight and had to quickly go to the toilet. She knew this route because we had been guests there for many years. This lady was not interested in my request and explanation, she continued to scream. I prefer to leave further explanations. Anyone who has employees like this...... We often commute from Bavaria to Baden-Württemberg. Seligweiler lost us, our family and friends as guests.

Watch out people!!! We are a small, uncomplicated family that is not fussy. We were passing through and wanted to book the hotel for one night. Nothing special . It wasn't inviting in the parking lot or at the direct entrance area. Check-in was okay, but it didn't matter. After checking in, we arrived on the floor of our room and were amazed at how old and worn everything here was. So!! When we arrived in the room we were shocked. Once again we are not petty, it was about one night. There are no words for a room like this. Bed falls apart Bathroom dirty, old and worn out. Hairdryer completely dirty, visibly scorched, toothpaste everywhere on the handle and that in Corona times, thank you no. I could list 10 more serious points. We got it after half an hour I stopped thinking about it and tried to find a good solution at reception in a friendly manner. The hotel probably didn't care about us staying there some form (no matter what Form) to accommodate us or to give us an apology. It was just said that at such a price of... euros per night including breakfast there is nothing better, it's a real shame. Well then we left.

A simple hotel at a rest stop. Everything is clean and the employees are friendly. Price-performance ratio is not right, but when comparing regionally the price becomes understandable. Cheap and good breakfast.

I haven't commented on the rooms because I didn't sleep there... but what I saw of the common areas seems very good to me.

The hotel is very easy to reach, but also very noisy from the motorway at night (with the windows open). The rooms are OK, but we found the mattresses to be too hard. The breakfast is rich and offers something for everyone. The swimming pool is simple and suitable for a quick refreshment. The sauna and steam room are modern, bright and pleasant. The attached restaurant offers a lot of different dishes, the taste is quite good, but I found it to be a bit expensive in terms of price.

Super great hotel 👍 great breakfast super service always happy to come back. Unfortunately our room wasn't that nice. We didn't have a double bed and the bathroom was a plastic wet room in which the ventilation was quite loud. But it was OK for one night.

We stayed here for 2 nights with 3 people. Hotel staff was very friendly and the rooms were very clean. The spa area was also clean. In contrast to some people who set up here dirty and smelly.

The hotel is large and well attended. Parking is free, but it can be difficult to find a spot on certain days. The room was a bit older, but ok. The breakfast room is too small for the size of the hotel. You may have to share a table with strangers. In terms of traffic, it is conveniently located right on the motorway.

Hotel Seligweiler – two star rating I recently stayed at the Hotel Seligweiler as a hotel reviewer and stayed in the economy room. Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing. The room was very outdated and showed clear signs of wear, which significantly affected the comfort. The entire facility seems old and outdated, although there is a renovated area that I didn't use. A bright spot was the reception service. The staff was very friendly and helpful, which had a positive impact on the first impression of the hotel. The pool was also in excellent condition and a pleasant surprise. Another plus point is the convenient location right on the motorway, which is particularly practical for travelers in transit. Unfortunately, the stay was significantly disturbed by noise. I was woken up at 6 a.m. by the noise of construction site workers and loud machines, which severely disrupted my night's sleep. Despite the good location and friendly staff, this is not enough to overlook the outdated furnishings and morning noise. Therefore I can unfortunately only give the Hotel Seligweiler two stars.

We were there for a stopover. Exceptional service. Pure friendliness. People enjoy coming here. Kudos to the gentleman who opened the bar and reception at the latest. Excellent.

Very neat hotel. Up to date with very friendly staff. The hotel does not have a 24 hour crew which was an adventure when we left the hotel at 6am. The hotel was closed and we had to leave the hotel through the parking garage.

The room was good for 1 night's stay. I didn't like the bathroom as much. Ideally located right next to the highway.
