Trotz einiger kleiner Kritikpunkte hatten wir insgesamt einen angenehmen Aufenthalt in dieser Gaststätte. Das Ambiente ist sehr gemütlich und stilvoll eingerichtet, sodass man sich sofort wohlfühlt. Der Service war freundlich, aufmerksam und stets bemüht, auf unsere Wünsche einzugehen. Die Speisekarte bietet eine interessante Auswahl an Gerichten, die kreativ angerichtet sind. Auch wenn die Portionen etwas größer sein könnten und die Preise im oberen Bereich liegen, merkt man doch, dass Wert auf Qualität und Präsentation gelegt wird. Geschmacklich gab es noch etwas Luft nach oben, dennoch waren die Gerichte solide und ansprechend. Alles in allem ist dies ein Ort, den man für einen entspannten Abend in schöner Atmosphäre durchaus weiterempfehlen kann – besonders, wenn man Wert auf ein stilvolles Umfeld und guten Service legt.

Wir wollten eigentlich Flammkuchen essen, waren aber leider sehr enttäuscht. Er war seltsam und überhaupt nicht knusprig. Die Käsespetzle waren irgendwie trocken und nicht cremig. Ich hatte Prosecco bestellt, der aber aus einer schon lange geöffneten Flasche stammte und keine einzige Perlage enthielt. Das Personal war okay, aber nichts Besonderes. Ich werde dieses Restaurant nicht noch einmal besuchen.

Service war sehr aufmerksam und schnell Die Atmosphäre ist auch toll, da wir als größere Gruppe in einen separaten Raum durften. Das Essen war lecker - allerdings ist der Großteil nicht vegetarisch und wenn dann noch zusätzliche Einschränkungen oder Präferenzen dazu kommen (z.B. lieber wenig Gluten essen zu wollen) läuft es auf einen Salat raus. Der Salat ist aber immerhin wirklich lecker, hat eine gute Größe und ist liebevoll angerichtet - tolles Dressing und echt saftig. Kein normaler, langweiliger gemischter Salat

Saßen auf der "Terrasse", überdacht, geheizt und windgeschützt. Service war perfekt, essen unglaublich lecker!

Schöne Lokation am fließenden Gewässer: Große Blau. Prompte Bedienung, klasse Essen und faire Preise! Wir kommen gerne wieder! Dankeschön

Wir waren zufrieden. Saßen im beheizten Wintergarten. War gemütlich.Wie es drinnen ist, können wir nichts sagen.

Das Essen, wir hatten Schnitzel mit mit Pommes, war super. Schnitzel riesig und weich, Pommes selbst gemacht nicht aus der Tüte! Die Bedienungen sehr freundlich!! Das Ambiente fand ich großartig mit den alten Lederbezogenen Stühlen. Auch die Bänke sehr gemütlich. Man kann es dort schon ne Weile aushalten!!

Excellent Käsespätzle!!! ...unfortunately, the Zwiebelrostbraten (onion roast beef) was already sold out...

The only vegan option wasn't available, and the Käsespätzle (cheese spaetzle) were bland, as if they hadn't used a flavorful mountain cheese. The rest of the food was okay, but nothing special. Unfortunately, the air in the dining room was also heavily permeated with food smells. The waiters were friendly.

Traditional Swabische Kuche with its own sense of flair in the heart of the Fischervertiel in Ulm. Space in the inside is a bit limited so reservations arw recommended but not required.

Good food, very large portions (even the small portion of schnitzel was quite generous), and friendly staff – all at a very fair price (especially compared to other restaurants in the area). Card payment was no problem. I'd gladly come again!

We had a Christmas party there; it was beautifully and tastefully decorated, the service was top-notch – attentive, not intrusive, polite, and incredibly fast. Whether appetizer or main course, everything was served simultaneously at the table. The food was wonderfully seasoned, piping hot, and tasted fantastic. The portions were very generous, and the wines were excellent. I can highly recommend Hensel & Gretel white wine; it was a wonderful experience.

We stopped there last weekend with a group of 35 people. Since another group had canceled, we were lucky enough to have dinner and drinks there 😉. Thanks to the owner, Stephan, and his team; everything was fantastic 👍 Highly recommended.

We had a good meal here. The prices were reasonable, and everything was good. However, the waitress was a bit slow, and it was a bit too loud in the dining room. I still recommend this restaurant. Greetings from Alsace

Three visits, three disappointments – you could almost call it a concept. The food? Solidly satisfying, neither a bright spot nor a disaster. The service? A discipline all its own: selective unfriendliness. Not all of the staff, but a few consistently manage to make guests of foreign backgrounds feel like they're apparently not meant to be regulars. Next door, German tables are showered with warmth, while we were able to enjoy the atmosphere of an ice floe. Particularly bitter: I've been there every time with guests from Dubai who had high expectations. Instead of hospitality, there was an unintentional live demonstration of the motto "you're foreigners and not welcome here." If the goal was to permanently alienate an international group of friends – congratulations, mission accomplished. My advice: If you want good food, you'll find it elsewhere in this city – and maybe even with a smile that doesn't reek of passport control.

Really good tarte flambée and very friendly people

Although I only had a cappuccino, which was very good, I had a problem with your restroom: hardly any light, no soap, no paper towels to dry myself with. It's difficult for women to get into the restroom; there's no room. The otherwise nice waitresses flutter around like butterflies.

The food was incredibly good. The service was excellent. The quality of the food was very good. The price/performance ratio was very good.

The food is salty, the pork is average and the price is not cheap.

Unfortunately, the food wasn't tasty at all. In my opinion, the value for money wasn't right at all. The gravy was like water and tasted like roasted fat. The meat was poor quality, and the dishes were poorly seasoned (bland). Unfortunately, I can't recommend it.

Very good Swabian dishes; the Maultaschen Pfännle (a pan of pasta) was unique, fresh, and perfectly hot. The outdoor seating area is truly idyllic; highly recommended.

We had dinner as a group of 4 adults and 5 kids, and the experience was excellent. Our waitress was exceptionally friendly and attentive, offering great recommendations on the local dishes. The food was delicious, and everything arrived very quickly. What really stood out was the warm and welcoming service combined with the great food. Highly recommended!

Nice place to eat and a good variety of food

A beautiful old house with modern elements. Gorgeous. The food was excellent, except for the cheese spaetzle (the consistency). The service was super friendly! Sustainability-conscious in the sense of: "Would you like to take the leftovers from your large portion with you in recyclable cardboard packaging?" 👍

I always enjoy coming here and can therefore recommend this restaurant with a clear conscience. About the food: I had Kässpätzle this time! Very tasty! Otherwise, I often eat the tarte flambée, which is also great to share with a group! About the service: The young ladies who serve you here are very friendly. Very accommodating, and I've only had good experiences here. About the ambiance: In good weather, on the Blau in the Fischerviertel! What more could you want?! The pearl of Ulm and highly recommended for every tourist and local.

Pay only by cache, which is ridiculous 9 euro for shity overhited coffe with milk, it is too much. 8 euro for a tiny portion of ice cream The waiter gets an order quickly, but the guy who take a money comes only in 20 minutes, so pay emmidiatelly after making an order. The atmosphere on a terrace is very good, but this is not something made by this guys but city hole. It could be better experience, but no.

We went on a Sunday lunchtime. Luckily, we found a shady spot outside. The service was extremely friendly and accommodating, despite the beer garden being packed. Our drinks arrived quickly, and the food didn't take long to arrive. Maultaschen Pfännle (a pan of pasta) were super delicious and highly recommended. The Kässpätzle (cheese spaetzle) were also delicious. We've been there three times and have always been very satisfied!

The food was rather mediocre; the cheese spaetzle was overcooked and the pork fillet was dry. But the atmosphere in the fishing district is cool.

Rarely have I seen such a bad-tempered and unfriendly waitress. Yesterday we were in the next room and were served by her. I was happy when I left the store.

The tarte flambée was excellent. The service should be retrained! We all had a spritz - served, as usual, in a long-stemmed glass. Then the tarte flambée was brought and while putting the boards on the table, the employee knocked over one of the still full glasses. The contents almost completely spilled onto the guest's pants. The waiter apologized and said "I'll bring you a new drink immediately". That's probably the least! The employee then brought another towel and disappeared again. The “watered” woman rubbed her pants as best she could with a towel. We then swapped chairs and blankets and wiped the table dry with tissues and napkins. Then a new drink came and we apologized again. And also an apology when paying. No concessions or “your drink is on the house”. No. Simply cashed in completely. Dear host of the "Wilder Mann": If the staff gives guests an involuntary shower, it shouldn't be ignored. Be sure to train your staff! The service here clearly gets a grade of 6-.

Nice restaurant in Ulm's fishing district. We were served courteously. Very friendly service combined with good food, what more could you want. It definitely wasn't our last visit.

I was very surprised, as I remembered the wild man more as a bar. The rustic tarte flambée was very tasty. With a 0.7 bottle of water 21 euros and I was really full :)

Came with full joy, but unfortunately it was very disappointing. Had the onion roast (medium) twice and the Schneider Pfännle once. The onion roast was not medium but rather medium rare or even rare. The food in general was served too cold. The Schneiderpfännle was not seasoned enough and the potatoes that were served with it weren't particularly good either. We wouldn't come back. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. The service was nice but not particularly friendly or attentive. In general, the waitresses looked rather listless and wearing sweatpants, among other things, is something I wouldn't accept as a boss.

I can't recommend it, the food wasn't really warm, the cooking level wasn't right and the service was sufficient.

The food was delicious and prepared very quickly. Unfortunately the soup didn't come until the main course. The terrace is very cozy and you can sit outside even in winter. There were problems with the billing and so we had to pay more than it would have actually cost. The staff did not see the error and were unreasonable.

The restaurant is very nicely decorated and you feel very comfortable. The food is very good and the portions aren't exactly small either. Big compliments to the kitchen. The entire team is very friendly and accommodating. Here you can really pamper yourself.

Catastrophic as soon as we picked up the food - our very entertaining stay at the Wilder Mann continued like a red thread. There was no real agreement between colleagues, there was only a drinks menu at the table. My partner picked up the menu himself after 10 minutes. During this time there were 2 different waiters at the table twice to take drinks 🤯🥴 Dinner ordered, creamy tomato soup with herbs and crème fraiche, my partner schnitzel. What I got was indefinable - tomato pieces so big in a 'creamy tomato soup', the cheese didn't fit at all and a soup that thick in consistency was not edible. The soup went back and the kitchen couldn't offer an alternative, which was good because I had lost my appetite. The crowning glory came with the bill, which came with €38 for 2 drinks and schnitzel - and it turned out again that the service staff had billed incorrectly... My conclusion: urgently speak to the chef about what he means by creamy tomato soup and to the service team, who spent most of the evening having private conversations loudly with their cell phones to their ears. Thank God you rarely experience something like that!!

Das Restaurant ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und man fühlt sich sehr wohl. Das Essen ist qualitativ, wie geschmacklich sehr gut. Großes Lob an die Küche. Die Portionen sind auch nicht gerade klein. Es war auch überall alles sehr sauber und ordentlich. Das gesamte Team war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Hier ist ein tolles Team am Start. Hier kann man sich verwöhnen lassen.

We had reserved as a group, but unfortunately something went wrong with the reservation. The owner apologized several times and got us a new location (in Ulm, which was overcrowded due to the marathon). There's no better way to forget a mishap! Thank you very much!

The two of us were lucky enough to get a free spot in the evening. The service is super motivated, extremely friendly and fast. To eat: - Salad with smoked salmon: a very tasty mix of different salads, very tasty dressing and not too sparingly prepared salmon florets with a creamy, mild garlic dip. Decorated with fine herbal flowers! -Bergkäsespatzen: As an Oberallgäu resident, I am the harshest critic. These are not Allgäuer Kässpatzen, but the style is so different and tasty that it is sooooooo delicious. Something different. Lovingly garnished with saffron, they are a real treat. Conclusion: For the price you get the best taste, lovely service and a great ambience. We'll be back 👍

Schwörmontag: The bar was completely understaffed, with 5 more people you would have made double the turnover. It would have made sense to have our own beer stand.
