Great location, connected to the Hilton hotel. The food is delicious, very unique options from around the world.

Unfortunately, this time the orders arrived in such a staggered way that 1. we often didn't know what was still open and 2. usually one person ate alone while the others waited.

The space is very beautiful and neat, and the food is excellent. A real dining experience with different and more exotic dishes that inspire you to try new flavors and ideas. I particularly liked the smart strategy with the tablets for ordering. However, I think that for a more professional result it would be good for them to operate in kiosk mode, so that the use is even more focused. Overall, a very nice experience that is definitely worth trying. In fact, after my visit, I tried making Donburi at home and it came out excellent!

Wow! Great food, excellent service. However, the tables are very close together, so you inevitably overhear a story or two :D Prices have also gone up, but the value for money is still excellent. We'll be back!

Our family went there to celebrate a birthday, the reservation was easily secured on google maps with a phone call verification from restaurant within 72 hours. Our table was decorated which was a nice suprise as this was not a request. The menu is very broad with a selection of foods from around the room. It is all you can eat on a 6 minute tempo, portions are single serving and there is a limit to how much you can order every 6 minutes. This requires a bit of planning and menu coordination to keep things flowing to the table. Great experience, staff was hustling to ensure everyone was satisfied with their meals.

TOP food, TOP service, TOP ambiance, but it's just getting way too expensive! It started with €30 per person (without drinks), and for €1 more you could eat all the specials, as often as you wanted. Now you pay €42 (without drinks) and have to pay for the specials every time!?!?... considering you only get an average of 12 rounds, it's starting to get a complete rip-off. Sorry!

We ate at Masons for the first time last night. I have to say, it's a great restaurant and a great concept. It was really fun eating here and trying out the many small dishes. Big praise to the staff; everyone was very friendly, despite the large number of guests. We would eat there again and highly recommend it.

The restaurant was overcrowded and far too loud. It was impossible to have a good conversation. Demas smessen was delicious, but the atmosphere and noise unfortunately overpowered it.

A culinary journey around the world – Masons impresses with an exciting concept and a wide variety of dishes that you can try one by one. Orders are placed every six minutes and are well-timed, giving you plenty of time to enjoy your meal without feeling rushed. After twelve rounds, we were full – and that says it all. The selection is extensive, from Asian to American to Mediterranean, and many dishes are available in vegetarian or vegan versions. With the all-you-can-eat format, you notice that the dishes are a bit heartier and more filling than the original, but the taste is good. What's particularly nice is that you can quickly find your favorites. The prices are reasonable, and the service was consistently attentive, friendly, and fast. A great concept for anyone who enjoys tasting, sharing, and being surprised.

A perfect evening with delicious food and a great atmosphere and service. Due to the large number of guests, it was a bit noisy, but it was still manageable.

I reserved a table a week ago and was put on a waiting list. When I still hadn't heard back the day before, I called and asked what was going on. They told me to wait until the day I wanted to come. I canceled. Thanks for the birthday present. The food is great, but I won't be coming back. That's unacceptable at that price.

Maisons Kaiserslautern is quite loud, and with six people, it was difficult to have a conversation. We were admitted late and had to wait about 35 minutes for our first drink. That's too long in my opinion. The food was delicious and good as always, but the 2025 summer menu had less variety than usual. All in all, though, a good experience. Unfortunately, the prices are getting more and more expensive, and €39 per person is not cheap. But that doesn't detract from the restaurant's popularity.

I highly recommend it! All the dishes I ate were very well seasoned and balanced. The spicy dishes were quite spicy. For us, it was worth it. For two people, we paid €105 each, including two large drinks and a tip. A travel pass costs €41.90 per person. You can "eat your way around the world" and order everything from a tray in six minutes. Oh yes, I almost forgot, the menu changes every six months; it was changed in October. On the internet, they claim you can spend two hours in the restaurant. We didn't feel like we were unwelcome guests after the three hours (which is how long we were actually there). So, in my experience, a Wednesday evening from 7 p.m. onwards is a very good time to eat there. The restaurant was well attended, but not packed, and despite the open-plan layout, it wasn't overly loud. We would love to go back.

It was very busy, so two of our meals were forgotten, but after we asked, the problem was solved. Great! And VERY TASTY!!!

Food. Not bad at all. But The German bratwurst curry is just bratwurst and tomato sauce. And the Australian bacon is nauseating. Tastes off. Service. Fast! They forgot a few dishes but we were 5 people so that is understandable. As for seating, they are best suited for 4 people maximum. There was a group of 8 adults who were seated on a 6-person table because "today we are packed" Atmosphere. AMAZING. The vibe was lovely.

I've been to this establishment several times, I wasn't impressed with the menu this time around. Additionally once I got home the food was running out of me, not once but twice.

Unfortunately, I can't understand the hype and the praise! It's incredibly crowded, the waiters seem irritated and disorganized. It's difficult to have a conversation because you're so busy choosing from the various dishes. If you're not careful, you keep forgetting to reorder, as the time it takes to get your trays down is quite short. What's really annoying, though, is that not all of the dishes arrive. We "lost" a meal almost every time we went. After repeatedly asking, we were told that some dishes would take longer, which is absolute nonsense when you see that the ordered dishes also arrive at the next table. I found the way it was presented very poorly. Doesn't compare to the photos posted here in the reviews. The currywurst was truly disappointing: a piece of a soggy little roll, three pieces of sausage, not particularly tasty in the sauce. No sign of whiskey, you can get better at the snack bar! The chocolate cake was also a bitter disappointment, just extremely rich and sweet, but not at all what you'd expect for such prices! Due to the chaos (sometimes no food arrives for ages, then three rounds at once), you can't even manage to order every six minutes. The drinks (and prices) are steep; all 0.4L. The fruit juice spritzer is ultra-thin, probably three-quarters water, and even pure fruit juice is heavily diluted with still water. All in all, I wouldn't come back; some of the dishes are good. But not so exceptional that these prices justify it. I'd rather spend the money on a very good meal and a drink and prefer a much less stressful environment! The noise level and the heat in the restaurant alone are total stress factors, and the ambiance isn't particularly pleasant either. I wonder where all the guests' money is invested... I think €220 for four people is way too much for what they offer!

Basically a cool concept, and the food was mostly excellent. However, there was a bit of chaos in the organization. Unfortunately, some ordered dishes were never served, despite repeated inquiries. This somewhat tarnished the overall impression.

It's unlikely anyone managed to try all 20 dishes. The price of €39.90 per person seems high at first glance, but the variety and freshness of the food is absolutely justified. Highly recommended—don't forget your passport!

I had a culinary experience with a lot of new things, which I really enjoyed in most cases. Of course, it's also clear that there are a lot of things you don't know and that you might not like the occasional dish. However, I have to say that the craftsmanship and the quality of the ingredients used seemed really good to me and justified the relatively high price per person. At the end of the evening, I didn't regret a cent, and that's a good sign :) Generally, I personally wouldn't go to Masons with more than four people. Each table uses a tablet for ordering, and that can definitely get stressful. It's relatively easy to lose track of the dishes ordered and how to identify them, even though the server briefly places each dish at the table with the corresponding name. Unfortunately, another problem for us was that there's no way to cancel an ingredient via the tablet if you have any intolerances or personal preferences. Generally, I can really understand the restaurant's decision, as the likelihood of this getting out of hand and disrupting the usual pace and processes in the kitchen is very high. Nevertheless, in our case, it unfortunately somewhat dampened the experience. While I eat almost anything, my partner is intolerant to all types of onions, and the menu is full of this ingredient. Ordering directly from the server is, on the one hand, very cumbersome, contrary to the usual concept of using a tablet, and it failed the first time, as the ordered dish was garnished with a thick slice of red onion. I would like to see a better solution here, one that is feasible for the restaurant and its staff and that perfects the otherwise great experience for the customers. A side note that is nevertheless important to me: The restrooms, at least during our visit, could have been improved in terms of cleanliness and condition. I wasn't disgusted, but I was also glad to be out quickly. Above all, please install a paper towel dispenser. The fan was almost useless, and I ended up drying my hands on my pants. All in all, I was personally thrilled with the culinary experience and will gladly return. I'm already looking forward to the new menu with its new flavors.

Traveling around the world, at least culinary-wise. The food is delicious; we love coming here, even willing to drive for over an hour. Since the portions aren't that big, you can try a lot. And yes, you'll be full. Definition. We're already looking forward to the next time.

Masons is an All You Can Eat tapas restaurant. Diners are given 2 hours to eat as many as 20 appetizers from different parts of the world. Every six minutes each person can order a dish. Specialty dishes and drinks (additional cost) can be ordered anytime. No drinks are included in the buffet price. I didn’t find the numerous food items to be particularly tasty. Granted, I didn’t eat every item offered but of the dozen or so I tried, only two approached noteworthy mention; Cola Whisky Currywurst and the Ragu Alla Bolognese. The Mexican Street Corn was difficult to eat and not tasty. The non-alcohol drinks were deliciously refreshing. Masons offers a variety of wines, beers and other libations. Also not included in buffet price. Seating is tight in some areas of the dining room (this may be from my North American perspective) resulting in you hearing conversations all around you. If you’d like to try a little taste of foods from around the world, go check out Masons. It came highly recommended by Ktown locals.

Great concept, all the dishes were prepared with attention to detail and tasted excellent. Despite ordering via tablet, we were well looked after by the service staff. Only the room noise was a bit too loud for us, but all in all, we would recommend it to anyone and will definitely come back!

T's restaurant is extremely stuffy overall and feels lively. My six or seven friends and I found a lot of diddy bluds, which wasn't appreciated, but overall the service, wait time, and price were pretty good. There were a lot of mustard/mango hybrid dishes, which was surprising. Overall, the visit was very pleasant, and if it were possible, I'd happily give it six or seven stars.

You can now also order drinks via tablet, which is great. Before, you had no chance to reorder drinks during your meal. The food is consistently excellent. Lots of choice, including vegetarian and vegan options. The portions have gotten larger, which we don't like. With smaller portions, you could try more. Overall, it's also become significantly more expensive (the meal costs €40 per person). The staff is consistently very friendly and helpful.

The entire event lasts two hours, and you can place a new order every six minutes. The food is served tapas-style and arrives at your table lightning fast. The staff is professionally trained and very friendly. The dishes from various continents are all delicious, varied, and perfectly sized for tasting. €39.90 plus drinks is very reasonable, considering the effort that goes into this and what you get for it. You'll definitely be full, even if you're very hungry. It's a bit loud when the restaurant is full; a few soundproofing elements wouldn't hurt. A great event; we'll definitely be back. If you like good food and would like to try something different, you shouldn't be afraid to visit.

Service was friendly and fast. The food was very good, apart from one or two things, but that's a matter of taste. It's always very busy on weekends (order in advance), which makes it noisy. Ordering is very quick with the tablet; all you need is a card to pay. You have to be a big eater to try everything; we couldn't try everything because we were full.

Neat concept for a restaurant! Really enjoyed all of the variety and being able to choose something new and different every 6 minutes is so cool! I think the price is good for how much food you can eat in 2 hours if you are paying attention to the timer! The drinks were also delicious!

Went as a group of four. I enjoyed the many rounds of small portion sizes food. Our group went a total of 17 rounds of food. Every dish was delicious from the Mexican street corn to the many entrees and finally the three desserts I put down. Recommend checking it out.

The pictures and reviews, as well as the price, give rise to certain expectations, which were unfortunately completely dashed. Apparently, the kitchen on Sunday evenings (7:00-9:00 p.m.) has better things to do than serve reasonably priced dishes. The food was largely carelessly prepared, and the taste was also rather low-end. For over €50 per person, you can definitely get much better food at other restaurants, and the expectation that the flavors would be similar to those in the respective countries listed was unfortunately completely dashed by this kitchen crew. It shows once again that specialization is the better choice in most cases.

An experience with a flaw. I was there today with friends. I'd heard a lot of good things about the restaurant and was therefore very curious to see if the all-you-can-eat buffet for €40 and the Masons were worth the money. The answer is: Yes and no. It's an experience you can definitely do once or twice because of the changing menu, but I probably won't visit the restaurant again. Now I'll go into more detail about what I liked and what I didn't. What I liked: The dishes are beautifully presented and there's a lot of variety, so there's something for everyone. I found the modular concept of how the dishes are put together interesting, with different ingredients being used for different dishes. It's a great concept and I like it. My favorites were: - Barbacua Taco, a nice blend of flavors - Anticuchos, the sauce with the meat was delicious - Cubanos, was different but the combination was great, for people who like to try new things. - Barbajuans, without the sauce and side dishes it would have tasted bland, but together it was delicious. - Bacon Roll, a nice meat roll with cheese on the inside and bacon on the outside, a classic and incredibly tasty. - Pavlova, a delicious dessert that goes well together. - Baked Sticky Rice Ball, if you like rice pudding with coconut milk, you'll love this too. The drinks menu is extensive and has a great selection, the drinks were cool, and the glasses were clean. The tablet operation is very easy; I would have appreciated a clock in the ordering menu, as it's easy to lose track of time. What I didn't like: I found the restaurant itself ugly. The outdoor area is graveled and there are plastic chairs with umbrellas like at the kebab shop around the corner. The interior consists of poorly painted concrete walls, with equally poorly painted cable ducts in the ceiling, from which hang the Edison lamps you see everywhere these days. I estimate they have about 150-200 seats, and when I went to the restroom, I was surprised to see that there were only four urinals and two toilet cubicles. Apparently, there are similarly few women's restrooms. On top of that, the restrooms are in the basement, which, as far as I could see, can only be reached via a staircase. All the pipes and cable ducts, and the poorly painted walls, don't exactly help make it a pleasant place. Also, the fact that there's only one hairdryer for the three sinks to dry your hands. The service was friendly but rather lackadaisical; whether it was because of the heat, the busyness, or simply because they weren't in the mood, I don't know. I've also been a waitress once, and I have to say the first thing I was told was, "Keep your hands off your plate!" Yes, the plates and bowls are small, but that doesn't matter. There's food on them where people eat, so keep your hands off for hygiene reasons. The food itself was unfortunately only good in terms of taste, as there were a few outliers that lowered the dining experience from very good to good. - The currywurst with whiskey was a good currywurst, but I didn't taste any whiskey. - Australian BBQ: The sweet potato fries were unfortunately over-fried, and the meat without sauce, while okay in taste, was too dry. - Kung Pao Chicken and Donburi: The sauces weren't sauces at all, but more like jelly, as if they hadn't diluted the ready-made sauce concentrate from the jar but had simply poured it on with a spoon. There was simply too much sauce flavor, and it dominated both dishes too much.

Das Essen war sehr gut und auch genügend, allerdings schafft man es nicht als normaler Esser die 20 Portionen zu bestellen ohne dass man sich total überisst. Man muss sich bewusst sein , dass dieses Konzept ein hektisches Essen ist , alles andere als gemütlich. Es müsste Staffelungen geben in der Preisgestaltung und Portionen, dass man nur 15 mal für 30€ bestellt oder 10 mal für 20€….

Four of us went there with four colleagues because the concept sounded cool. Ordering via tablet was actually quite fun, and the selection of dishes was very large. We sat outside. Unfortunately, the table and chairs were dirty and dusty. After a while, the table was wiped down upon request. The fourth colleague arrived late, so we didn't get a tablet yet; instead, drinks were taken as usual. We then had to wait a very long time for them. There was confusion with the table next to us regarding the tablet, which resulted in dishes being brought to the wrong table. The waiters weren't particularly concerned; the food was simply placed in front of us despite being informed. Only upon request was the table number correctly booked. The food itself was always very tasty and beautifully presented. I probably won't come again; the overall package just wasn't right.

We were there with three (young) children, and everyone was super friendly and nice. They took care of everything, and the children were warmly welcomed and accepted. We sat on the terrace, and everything was really fantastic. We've been there several times and would love to go back.

Mason's is a great place to eat, especially if you want to treat your guests from other countries. They give you a plethora of bite-sized tastes from around the world, which allows for good conversation.
