1. The Jagerschnizel was way over cooked it was like eating pork jerky. 2. The Jager sauce was way too spicy (too much pepper and something else I couldn’t identify). 3. The salad dressing was vinegar with spices that tasted stale (old). They need a choice of dressing. 4. I did hear my order called out and my order sat at the counter and everything cooled down by the time they notified me.

I had requested a quiet room in advance via email and, according to the hotel, received one in the main building (Room 4). Unfortunately, this room was right next to the stairs, and in addition, the window couldn't be opened at 28°C because there was a wasp nest right in front of it. After immediately contacting the friendly staff, I was assigned Room 1 in the main building, one floor below. Unfortunately, this room was also right next to the stairs – and the entrance to the restaurant's restrooms is nearby, which was further disruptive both acoustically and due to the constant coming and going. My stay was significantly disrupted by nighttime noise in the stairwell (sometimes until 4 a.m.), loud slamming doors, and noise from the beer garden. A restful sleep was impossible. Furthermore, I felt the room was not reasonably priced for its size and noisy location – in my opinion, the price-performance ratio is not good. Positive highlights: • Cleanliness: impeccable! • Staff: very friendly • Location: generally quiet • Dinner: excellent Conclusion: Unfortunately, I was unable to enjoy my stay as desired, as quiet accommodations were not guaranteed despite prior arrangements.

Great place. The food is delicious and fresh. Unfortunately, the woman who works there isn't very hospitable.

We were here, as we do every year, to celebrate my daughter's birthday and were pleasantly surprised to see our favorite waitress from another restaurant. The food was delicious, as always, and the sponsored birthday ice cream cone was, as always, a highlight.

Good home cooking at fair prices!
