We were here, as we do every year, to celebrate my daughter's birthday and were pleasantly surprised to see our favorite waitress from another restaurant. The food was delicious, as always, and the sponsored birthday ice cream cone was, as always, a highlight.

Simply disappointing... Waiting almost an hour for a burger and some pulled pork? Then a cold to lukewarm meal?? The taste wasn't even worth mentioning... A complete disaster, I can't recommend it!

I was really looking forward to the mac and cheese, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectations. The pasta was a bit overcooked and therefore too soft. The cheese sauce, unfortunately, barely tasted of cheese; it was rather watery and lacked flavor. Overall, the dish seemed quite bland and wasn't as creamy as you'd expect from a good mac and cheese. It's a shame, because the concept is promising – with a bit more seasoning, a better texture, and a more intense cheese sauce, it could be much better.

We've been turned away twice now due to a lack of staff. We wanted to have breakfast outside, a waiter said it was no problem and brought the menu. Then a blonde waitress came over and said it wouldn't work, they were too busy. Pure malice! We won't go there again.

What the hell is going on here? 🤯 Can someone explain this? Okay, guys, I have to tell you something that really shocked me. I went to a place today that I thought would be a cool burger place. But what I experienced there is simply insane. Let's start with the restrooms – I thought I was in a horror movie. Cables are sticking out of the wall, the lamp above the sinks is hanging only by the power cord... Seriously, who took that off? The light switches don't even have covers! That's not only unhygienic, but also incredibly dangerous. That's unacceptable! And then the food. For the hefty price, you really expect something different. The lettuce leaves were fresh, but the patties... they seemed to have gone straight from the freezer to the grill. They tasted like nothing and had that typical mushy texture. The onion rings? A greasy, tasteless disaster. I love burgers, you know that, but this one was just a disappointment. I really can't recommend this store. It seems like there's absolutely no love put into it. It's neither worth the price nor the risk of getting an electric shock on the toilet. It's a shame, but it wasn't worth it! 👎

We went to Kullmann's yesterday for the first time in a while and were not disappointed. The food was delicious, the service took a while, but it was very friendly. We would go back again and again. 👍 But: What unfortunately doesn't deserve any stars are the restrooms. The toilets, in other words, feel like they're 20 years old. It's not clean; one sink is torn off, and one of the toilets is missing its cistern. It looks like a construction site and doesn't exactly smell pleasant. It's in dire need of renovations! If you place so much value on the interior, the restrooms should be up to scratch too. 😕

So far, the diner looked great, and the ambiance inside was very nice. We had burgers, onion rings, and chili con carne. The meat in the burger was cheap frozen food, and the chili tasted exactly like it came from a can. Sorry, not for us. The service was TOP-notch 👍🏽 But aren't you guys ashamed to offer customers who don't exactly spend a lot of money with you such toilets?! That's completely unacceptable. The pictures are of the women's restroom, but the men's restroom is even worse, with flat cables sticking out of the wall, etc. I also wonder what the employees are supposed to check off? That no one died?!!!!! 🙈

Solid food, albeit very high in calories. Large portions, reasonable prices, and very friendly service.

For me, this is THE burger you have to try! I've never had such a delicious burger before. You've finally convinced me to try hamburgers. Juicy, tender ground beef, pickles, a warm bun, melted cheese... delicious! The American flair of the interior makes it really cozy.

Let's start with something positive: the food was fine, and our server was friendly. Otherwise, it wasn't worth returning. The rest of the staff wasn't attentive, or rather, they were good at ignoring customers. The food arrived in less than 10 minutes. The mayonnaise we'd also ordered didn't arrive until our food was almost gone. As compensation, we were given extra fries. The atmosphere was also lacking. Such a shame.

Always happy: the food is good, the prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. Unfortunately, it is often difficult to get a place. The waiting times are also long. Still, it's worth the wait.

Delicious burgers in numerous variations. A typical American diner—albeit a bit dated, with dirty restrooms. The service was actually very friendly and prompt, but not always on point.

Unfortunately, we weren't allowed to eat anything. We went there spontaneously. It was a Sunday evening, 8:00 p.m., and there were obviously plenty of free tables and no line. At first, we were left standing at the reception desk and ignored. When a waitress finally took pity on us, they said there was apparently no room for two people. The waitress's response was, "Aaah, oh, uh... No, no, it's so busy." Well... what a pity. A real shame when you can't even handle the "crowd" of two people on a Sunday evening.

I had a large portion of pork ribs. They're highly recommended. I'll order them again on my next visit.

I went there with my mother and brother. The selection and prices of the dishes, as well as the taste, are very good. The food is delicious and filling. If you don't finish anything, they pack it up to take home and enjoy it again. Furthermore, the service team, in our case Nicole (a real angel), is extremely friendly, open, helpful, and personable. Definitely recommended. (If you ask nicely, you might be able to get a very special watch ✨️🥳)

A cozy diner with an authentic American flair and surprisingly good quality. The food was very tasty overall, and I especially liked the combination of ingredients on the burger. I was particularly pleasantly surprised by the pleasant ambiance, harmoniously decorated with a certain retro diner charm. The taste could be a little better, but overall, it's highly recommended. The ambiance in the restaurant was really nice. The food and the burgers were completely normal. Average, like a regular delivery service. But what bothered me most was the service. I ordered a burger and was asked which cheese I wanted with it. I asked, "What kind of cheese do they have?" The waitress simply replied, "Those who can read have a clear advantage." The menu below the burger stand shows what selection is available. So the waitress is welcome to talk in her private space, but not with customers, in my opinion. In short: It was a unique experience, but I won't go there again.

I’ve been here 3 times, this first time I got the bbq Mac and cheese and it was really good! The last 2 times have been disappointing, for one it’s pretty pricey and the services isn’t anything to look forward too. I tried the breakfast steak and it was bad. The steak was flavorless and cooked like a puck. This time I went I got milkshakes and it was just flavored milk, I’m not sure if it’s normal for the milk shake to not be thick but I don’t know if they even mixed icecream and ice in that thing cause it was the texture of milk.

The food is super delicious, but the portions are typically small, typical of German food. The service is abysmal. We weren't well-informed and were neglectful. We wanted to order about 12 desserts, but since no one else was looking after us, we just let the bill come and left.

Finally, we were lucky enough to get a table. The service was super friendly, always with a friendly remark. We liked it. We had high expectations, as I'm used to real dinners from America. My meal came first, my husband's took longer, which is definitely a negative point. I had high expectations. The food didn't live up to our expectations; we won't go back. I think the fries were double-fried, which isn't good. My bread was a bit old. It's a shame, we were so looking forward to it. The dinner also needs an update.

We had the mixed grill (BBQ plate). The steak wasn't tasty and way overcooked, the spare ribs were OK, but nothing more. The corn wasn't tasty (soft), and even the fries weren't anything special. Everything was quite greasy. The pulled pork, BBQ sauce, and chicken tenders were the absolute highlights here. We had to wait quite a while, but it was also very busy, so that was understandable. The price was reasonable and what you'd expect these days. It's a fantastic place and a beautiful restaurant with a 60s feel all the way. The staff also wears period clothing. Personally, I always find it a bit disappointing when the food doesn't match the atmosphere. That diminishes the experience somewhat, as if the overall picture isn't right. You can't rely solely on the atmosphere. Especially at a restaurant, the food should be the priority, and unfortunately, that doesn't seem to be the case here. Still a wonderful place to visit, and definitely try the pulled pork! Parking can be a problem when it's busy.

The burger meat was bone-dry. Instead of chicken fingers, they packed a portion of curly fries, which is really stupid to go. Ordered 50 minutes in advance, and it still took an extra 20 minutes.

We were there at 9:30 p.m., even though the restaurant is open until midnight, and were sent away because they still had a lot of orders and would be closing the kitchen afterward. I find it a bit cheeky that the place is still open for two and a half hours.

Diner as it should be! Recommendation for four people: The "Mixed Plate" of fries (curly fries, French fries, and sweet potato fries) and everyone ordering a burger without sides is enough! High-quality food in more than enough quantity. We'll be back!

Misleading "All You Can Eat" Offer I went to Kuhlmann's Diner in Kaiserslautern for the "Wings All You Can Eat" for €18.90. It sounds fair at first: a starter with 8 wings, fries, and dips – then "reload as many as you like." Unfortunately, that's not true: • There's only a very limited selection of sauces – not the usual. • From the second round of wings onwards, there are no more sauces or dips. • Each additional dip costs €2.20, which isn't communicated anywhere beforehand. In my opinion, this is misleading advertising because important restrictions are concealed. This has little to do with a true "All You Can Eat" – it's more about luring customers with a supposedly attractive offer that will cost you more later. It's a shame, it significantly tarnishes the overall impression.

A cool US-styled grill restaurant, with some tvs to watch sport and enjoy the time, but unfortunately the service completely mixed our order on the day we visited. They changed it later though, so no hard feelings, but still I think the food could be better.

It's always easy to give bad reviews. However, you also have to praise what's good. And this place is more than just good. The food is excellent, the service is excellent, the diner is excellent. No wait, fast service, simply top-notch. I drove 200+ kilometers to try this diner and don't regret a single step. I would drive that route again!

We were here today. Luckily, we managed to get a seat without a reservation. Very friendly service, and the burgers were very tasty and the wait time was normal. Nothing to complain about. The only problem is that parking can be tight when the diner is full.

This is how I imagine a typical diner in the States. The atmosphere was top-notch. The spare ribs and fries were truly delicious, and the wait for the food was surprisingly short. Service was friendly and competent. We'll be going there often now.

We spontaneously stopped here for a late breakfast. The prices are reasonable, and the setting and atmosphere are just what you'd expect from an American diner. We'd definitely be happy to come back.

So, I was here about 10 years ago, everything was great, and I thought, well, I could go there for my 35th birthday with my wife and mother - FLOP! I announced it was my birthday in the email (reservation), no congratulations, nothing, not even a dip on the house. Service was poor, except for one lady who brought us the bill at the end... Three glasses stood at the edge of the table for about two hours, waiting to be picked up; they could have waited a long time! That was empty, that was empty, unfortunately, that wasn't possible. The curly fries had been thrown into the fryer at least three times, they were just dry, completely covered in fat! The ribs were also weak... tender, but the taste didn't convince me! Drinks - Homemade ice tea 0.4 for €5.90... Water with syrup? Overpriced! Nachos with three dips and arugula salad on top? ... well... We left €119.50 there, unfortunately that was the last time we were there! What a shame!

The food always tastes very tasty.

The food is always delicious and the service is friendly. I like coming here, but something has been bothering me for a while: You can't get a vegetarian patty for your burger without paying extra, or swap out other side items like the bacon on the breakfast platter for more onion rings, for example. For example, you pay €15 for the burger, want a vegetarian patty, and end up paying €18-19. It's a shame; every other restaurant I know manages something similar or is flexible enough.

Been there a few times. It's always been great. Today was really annoying. We were there at 1 p.m. and didn't order until 1:30 p.m. The waiter didn't pay any attention to us at all. Three tables that arrived after us were able to order before us. When we finally got there, we had to explain several times that we wanted the starter first. Then it took a while. Our drinks sat at the counter for at least 10 minutes. It wasn't until we went to get our drinks ourselves that a really nice waiter brought them to our table. After about 30 minutes, the starter plate and my daughter's burger arrived. We gave it back because we wanted to enjoy the starter first. After that, nothing happened for a long time. When we asked our waiter about our food, he said there was a problem in the kitchen and it would take another 10 minutes. When another waiter came by, we asked for management. Unfortunately, no one was there. However, we were told that our burger order hadn't been placed and would now be processed by the kitchen as a priority. We were offered a discount on drinks and the appetizer plate. Since I was already slightly hypoglycemic, we agreed. Conclusion: Excellent food, excellent service. Experience: Soured, as my wife and daughter ignored their hunger. We will come again, but we'll see who serves us.

Kullman’s in Kaiserslautern is an absolute delight! From the moment you walk in, you’re transported into a movie scene — red booths, glowing neon lights, and rock’n’roll vibes all around. The food is out of this world: juicy burgers, perfectly crispy fries, and dreamy milkshakes. Add in the incredibly friendly staff and that nostalgic American diner charm, and you’ve got a place you’ll never want to leave. A true feast for the senses and the soul!

How can you degrade like that!!! How can you lower the quality like that!!! We went today and, as always, ordered a classic burger with a plate of fries. The burgers were smaller, the flavor had diminished considerably, and the burger bun looked like it was from Penny Markt! The coleslaw was very dry, with almost no mayonnaise! The fries tasted more like frying oil than potatoes! With quality like that, we definitely won't be coming back! What a shame. That was my review 2 years ago! Absolutely mega burgers, super big, you'll definitely fill yourself up! If you're with 3 or 4 people, I recommend getting the plate of fries! First of all, it's cheaper, and there's a huge selection of fries, including curly, regular, and sweet potato fries. They also come with coleslaw. The value for money is unbeatable! Highly recommended!

The burgers are juicy, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The mac & cheese is especially recommended – creamy, spicy, and simply delicious! The ambiance is typical of an American diner – stylish, relaxed, and cozy. Just the thing for a relaxed evening or a casual meal with friends. One small downside: When it gets busy, the service unfortunately seems a bit disorganized, which can lead to longer waits. Nevertheless, the food is definitely worth a visit. With a little more structure from the staff, it would be a solid 5!

Go here if you are really craving American fast food and want an experience as close as possible to eating at a diner. The food that I had was good but I have had better burgers in other places.

What good is an authentic atmosphere if the service is simply abysmal? Unfortunately, we can't give it 0 stars. Only after we had to wait half an hour and asked for someone ourselves did the waiter come to our table and show us our seats to take our drink orders. The food was served cold, and no one came by to order more drinks. The entire ordeal lasted almost two hours, and that was the last time I saw that place.

Well, Kullmams used to stand for something completely different: quality, experience, and service. The two of us were there last night. It was 9 p.m., and it took a while for the waiter to come and take our drinks. The situation seemed to be such that everyone was busy. They were talking together, to the point where only the bartender was left in the room. The drinks were then brought incorrectly, and the beer no longer had a head. Ordered food. It arrived in the normal time. Taste-wise, it was a 6. Dry, barely any sauce on it. The meat patty was overcooked. The only highlight were the curly fries. The coleslaw wasn't tasty either. We ate. They served it on our plates. That's how you say you're done. The waiter came and just took the cutlery bucket from the table. Apparently, that wasn't his area... At some point, our waiter came back and cleared the table. We ordered the bill. €51 is way too expensive for this meal. 2 drinks + 2 burgers Premises: They're currently renovating the men's restroom, so you should use the accessible restroom. They should have renovated it first, as it's not used very often. It's also like a construction site. Fire extinguisher above the sink. The silicone on the sink is just frayed... They advertise with a sign saying it's constantly being monitored. Maybe the cleaning lady in the morning. I worked in the restaurant industry for 20 years myself. But that's...

The place is nothing more or less than what it is and should be: A diner. The food is delicious! The ambiance is classic! Service is attentive and friendly. Perfect and highly recommended!

We're big fans of American cuisine and really appreciate the retro diner ambiance. We also find the staff to be extremely friendly every time. Unfortunately, the rest of the menu isn't up to scratch these days – this was especially evident at our last family brunch. Despite the restaurant being almost empty, we waited over 45 minutes for our food. The bread had dark, moldy spots, and the lettuce under the potato wedges looked wilted and unappetizing. The rest of the breakfast platter for two also fell well short of our usual taste experience. The quality has noticeably declined. It's a real shame – we hope for a speedy improvement.

It used to be better. The burgers feel smaller (but that could be deceiving), but in any case, they no longer come with fries unless you order them separately. Maybe that's why the burger looks smaller on the huge plate. The taste isn't as great anymore either. The service, though, is still good and friendly.

We came here for breakfast and had the Classic Diner Omelette, the Sunny Side Sandwich, the Regular Pancakes, a latte macchiato, and a mint and lemon water. Everything was outstanding, and the service was very friendly. I highly recommend it to everyone. And for €23 per person, you can't complain. Everything was delicious.

Got a table quickly enough even though it looked busy on a Sunday evening. Sat down and then got ignored by the server for the next 10 to 15 minutes while he busied himself serving the other 4 families that came in after me. He even ignored me when I looked him dead in the face to get his attention. Ended up leaving as nobody else on staff was paying any attention either. I'm sure the place is great if you can get any actual service.

Upon entering the diner, the harmonious ambiance catapults you to 1950s America. The menu and drinks list are extensive and offer something for every lover of American cuisine. Various special offers are regularly offered. The selection is plentiful and delicious. The service is prompt, very friendly, and accommodating to special requests. Overall, the diner makes a clean and well-maintained impression, although the restrooms could be improved.

To Go – Good Morning Germany (€19) Disappointing experience. No bread included, portion was very small, and the bacon was burnt. First time and definitely the last. Not recommended.

Really delicious food. Reservations are recommended. The only downside is that the restrooms are pretty run down. They're in the basement, so many people feel unobserved and act like pigs.

Probably the most American burger joint in RLP. Totally authentic from the decor to the service to the food. The greeting at the entrance was very warm and polite. But you should make a reservation for the evening hours on the weekend. But you won't be turned away even without a reservation; they will try very politely and make every effort to find a seat. Until then there is a place to wait at the counter. If you've ever been to the USA, the atmosphere is reminiscent of a typical 1960s burger joint. I felt like I was on vacation in America. The service is very courteous and special requests are also tried to be fulfilled. The food itself is absolutely delicious. The burgers are compact, not overloaded, the ingredients are all fresh and at the table at exactly the right temperature. The fries 🍟 are consistently crispy and not part mashed potatoes and part stone like elsewhere. There's nothing wrong with the prices either, 2 people each with burgers and fries including drinks for under 50 euros. We have already eaten a few burgers in Germany, Croatia and the USA and this was the tastiest outside of the USA. A big compliment and thank you to the entire team.

We really enjoy eating here: the burgers, the coleslaw, the fries—everything is delicious, and the breakfast for two is fantastic. We've always found the staff to be friendly and accommodating, and the atmosphere is like something out of an old movie. And for birthdays, they play "Happy Birthday" music and offer a huge, beautifully decorated ice cream sundae with a fountain. The prices aren't cheap, of course, but you don't have to come here every day.

I only ate breakfast food. However, the food was good and so was the service. It reminded me of Dennys back in the US.

We come often, parking spaces are a little tight and the quality of the entire visit varies a little, but everything is within reason. Price performance is okay and we were always treated nicely.
