The food was excellent – ​​the tabbouleh salad, in particular, was exceptionally good and has left a lasting impression. The service was attentive and warm, and the atmosphere pleasant and inviting. The food was good, but not amazing, and completely overpriced. Many dishes on the menu were missing; instead of pastilla, for example, we were offered falafel, and for dessert, tiramisu (!) – hardly authentic Moroccan restaurant fare. The tagines were very basic, with just some flatbread on the side – okay, but disappointing for the price. €24.50 for one small chicken leg (more bone than meat), a few chestnuts, two orange slices, and some bread is exorbitant. It's also unclear why they had such a large menu if they were out of so much. And there wasn't even a drinks menu. We were also surprised that when we made the reservation, the owner acted as if he was completely booked and would still somehow accommodate us. In fact, it was quite busy, but a couple who arrived after us without a reservation were indeed seated, even though no one had left. Overall, it was an expensive, long evening that left us feeling disappointed.

Had dinner at this local Moroccan restaurant; and it rated at 4.9; and I have to say; it was that and more. The food was served hot and fresh, and the owner served us, so that was authentic service at its best. The great part of the evening, was when the owner served us one of his own special dessert dish, which was not on the menu, and OMGOSH!!! loved every bite. This will be my spot, whenever🙏🏽🩷🙏🏽 I’m in Ulm.

The restaurant is simply a truly Moroccan experience! From the moment you enter, you immediately feel the Moroccan flair. Great Arabic music plays in the background! The starter and main course were simply delicious. An absolute explosion of flavor thanks to the many different spices and so authentic. There really isn't a Moroccan restaurant like this near us... I would definitely recommend making a reservation in advance and keeping it. It's a small two-person operation, and the owner is incredibly warm and attentive. It would be a shame (and annoying for him) if you made a reservation and then didn't show up. I'll definitely be back. 😇

The restaurant is quite small but very cozy. You can immediately experience the Marrakesh vibes and culture once you enter the place. From the decors to the music. The owner/server also greeted us very warmly. The food is the best! I ordered a Chicken tanjine which is a sweet one. The chicken was so tender! very savory and tasty! We also received a welcome drink. We ordered the Moroccan tea which is also really good. I will definitely go back 🥹❤️

An authentic Moroccan restaurant! I just had dinner here and was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is truly authentic and welcoming, made magical by the Moroccan music that plays throughout the evening. It's an intimate spot with only a few tables, which makes it even more special. For this reason, I highly recommend booking in advance by calling Safi, the owner, directly. Safi is a truly strong and vibrant person who makes you feel right at home. He speaks fluent German, English, and Italian, so communicating with him is easy. If you're looking for a true Moroccan dinner experience, this place comes highly recommended. It's a culinary and human experience not to be missed!

We discovered this restaurant quite spontaneously – and what luck! :) As soon as you enter, you can feel that hospitality is still alive and kicking here. Everything is lovingly decorated, warm, and inviting – almost as if you were eating with good friends. The family that runs the restaurant is incredibly warm and attentive. You immediately feel welcome. There's a lot of laughter, and they take time for a quick chat without being intrusive – simply genuinely friendly. The food? Homemade, fresh, and prepared with palpable love. Not mass-produced, but traditional dishes like you'd expect from home. You can taste the food: It's cooked by someone who cares about the guests' taste. A place that warms not only the stomach, but also the heart. We'll definitely be back!

*Stay Away from this Restaurant* Firstly, he didn't give a convincing answer to whether the food is halal. Secondly, we had hard time getting a reservation for the "next day". When it came to ordering he started fighting that he will not serve just 1 main dish. So we had to leave immediately. EXTREMELY RUDE PEOPLE

After a brief, friendly phone call, I reserved a table for the next day, and our evening there was outstanding. With a view of Ulm Minster, great service, delicious tagine, and a cozy atmosphere, the Marrakech Argana Restaurant is definitely worth a visit! It's something different, something special.

Really surprised by all the positive reviews here. Easily one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a restaurant. Decor is shabby, everything takes ages because it seems like there’s only one person working there, food was mediocre (pretty dry couscous and lamb) and most importantly the owner was incredibly rude. Because everything was taking very long we asked for dessert and the cheque together and he responded to that by saying - either you wait and I bring you things in my own time or I just bring you the cheque and you leave; and then demanded that we pay in cash only and then refused to let us leave until we said everything was good - truly horrifying experience and with not the cheapest price tag. I would highly recommended that you save your money and go to many of the other tastier and friendlier places in ulm. Definitely never going back.

Wow wow wow, 1001 Nights is up close, if I could I would give it 1000 stars, the food is great, the atmosphere is very authentic and the highlight is the chef is simply incredible and incredibly very accommodating and pure entertainment, never been served so well, a must for everyone in Ulm!!!!! 😉

Today was our first Moroccan meal. We've never been treated with such hospitality and accommodating service, and the food was incredibly delicious and freshly prepared. We'd love to come back.

We had a very cozy, lovely evening at Marrakech. We received very friendly and attentive service as guests in a small restaurant with a very homely atmosphere. It was also really nice to chat with the host, who also knows the chefs and owners of the Italian restaurants in our region. It's a small world when it comes to gastronomy – we'll pass on our thanks to Davide 😜! And the tagine portions are really generous and so delicious... unfortunately, there was no room left for dessert. We'll gladly come back and enjoy the vegetarian dishes!

We found the restaurant online. We reserved a table in advance for Thursday and said we wanted to celebrate a birthday with a small group. There was only one waiter on staff, and he was incredibly nice. We were greeted very politely, and our table was very nice and festively decorated, although we weren't expecting it. We both ordered tajine, one with shrimp and one with chicken and mandarin oranges. We had babaganoush for starters. For dessert, they served a traditional Moroccan pastry. Everything was served very quickly and was delicious. Unexpectedly, we received a small gift in the form of a small glass with oriental decorations. I understand that not every visitor gets this, but I still thought it was incredibly nice. I can recommend the restaurant for its service and delicious food!

Authentic and excellent. We had starters, main courses, and most of the desserts, and everything was on point and wonderfully seasoned. The service was very friendly, unfazed despite the full tables, and always there when needed.

If you're looking to be transported to the Orient with authentic cuisine, a touch of colorful atmosphere, and Arabian sounds, this is the place for you. This small restaurant is run by the couple who own it. While the wife conjures up typical local dishes, the husband serves guests with genuine hospitality. It feels a bit like being a guest in their living room and becoming a small part of the family. The restaurant has only about six tables, each seating two to four people, so reservations are recommended.

Highly recommended and a special experience. We tried a lot, and everything was fantastic, from the appetizers to the various main courses (vegetarian and meat) to the mint tea and dessert. The owner gave us good advice, and the service was also good, even though all the tables were full. We'd be happy to come back.

The dishes were delicious. We had the couscous Royal and Tagine Riad, both the delicious absolutely decadent and so flavorful. My personal favourite was the tagine riad, the sauce was so rich and perfectly spiced, the chicken so perfectly cooked, soft and melts in your mouth. We will definitely be coming back again and highly recommend this place for anyone wanting to try good Moroccan food. A must Try!!!
