We were there with a larger group and had made a reservation. The welcome was very warm, and delicious aperitifs were offered. The subsequent Moroccan buffet was excellent. We highly recommend the restaurant. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

*Stay Away from this Restaurant* Firstly, he didn't give a convincing answer to whether the food is halal. Secondly, we had hard time getting a reservation for the "next day". When it came to ordering he started fighting that he will not serve just 1 main dish. So we had to leave immediately. EXTREMELY RUDE PEOPLE

We discovered this restaurant quite spontaneously – and what luck! :) As soon as you enter, you can feel that hospitality is still alive and kicking here. Everything is lovingly decorated, warm, and inviting – almost as if you were eating with good friends. The family that runs the restaurant is incredibly warm and attentive. You immediately feel welcome. There's a lot of laughter, and they take time for a quick chat without being intrusive – simply genuinely friendly. The food? Homemade, fresh, and prepared with palpable love. Not mass-produced, but traditional dishes like you'd expect from home. You can taste the food: It's cooked by someone who cares about the guests' taste. A place that warms not only the stomach, but also the heart. We'll definitely be back!

An authentic Moroccan restaurant! I just had dinner here and was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is truly authentic and welcoming, made magical by the Moroccan music that plays throughout the evening. It's an intimate spot with only a few tables, which makes it even more special. For this reason, I highly recommend booking in advance by calling Safi, the owner, directly. Safi is a truly strong and vibrant person who makes you feel right at home. He speaks fluent German, English, and Italian, so communicating with him is easy. If you're looking for a true Moroccan dinner experience, this place comes highly recommended. It's a culinary and human experience not to be missed!

After a brief, friendly phone call, I reserved a table for the next day, and our evening there was outstanding. With a view of Ulm Minster, great service, delicious tagine, and a cozy atmosphere, the Marrakech Argana Restaurant is definitely worth a visit! It's something different, something special.

Really surprised by all the positive reviews here. Easily one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a restaurant. Decor is shabby, everything takes ages because it seems like there’s only one person working there, food was mediocre (pretty dry couscous and lamb) and most importantly the owner was incredibly rude. Because everything was taking very long we asked for dessert and the cheque together and he responded to that by saying - either you wait and I bring you things in my own time or I just bring you the cheque and you leave; and then demanded that we pay in cash only and then refused to let us leave until we said everything was good - truly horrifying experience and with not the cheapest price tag. I would highly recommended that you save your money and go to many of the other tastier and friendlier places in ulm. Definitely never going back.

Wow wow wow, 1001 Nights is up close, if I could I would give it 1000 stars, the food is great, the atmosphere is very authentic and the highlight is the chef is simply incredible and incredibly very accommodating and pure entertainment, never been served so well, a must for everyone in Ulm!!!!! 😉

We had a very cozy, lovely evening at Marrakech. We received very friendly and attentive service as guests in a small restaurant with a very homely atmosphere. It was also really nice to chat with the host, who also knows the chefs and owners of the Italian restaurants in our region. It's a small world when it comes to gastronomy – we'll pass on our thanks to Davide 😜! And the tagine portions are really generous and so delicious... unfortunately, there was no room left for dessert. We'll gladly come back and enjoy the vegetarian dishes!

We found the restaurant online. We reserved a table in advance for Thursday and said we wanted to celebrate a birthday with a small group. There was only one waiter on staff, and he was incredibly nice. We were greeted very politely, and our table was very nice and festively decorated, although we weren't expecting it. We both ordered tajine, one with shrimp and one with chicken and mandarin oranges. We had babaganoush for starters. For dessert, they served a traditional Moroccan pastry. Everything was served very quickly and was delicious. Unexpectedly, we received a small gift in the form of a small glass with oriental decorations. I understand that not every visitor gets this, but I still thought it was incredibly nice. I can recommend the restaurant for its service and delicious food!

Authentic and excellent. We had starters, main courses, and most of the desserts, and everything was on point and wonderfully seasoned. The service was very friendly, unfazed despite the full tables, and always there when needed.

If you're looking to be transported to the Orient with authentic cuisine, a touch of colorful atmosphere, and Arabian sounds, this is the place for you. This small restaurant is run by the couple who own it. While the wife conjures up typical local dishes, the husband serves guests with genuine hospitality. It feels a bit like being a guest in their living room and becoming a small part of the family. The restaurant has only about six tables, each seating two to four people, so reservations are recommended.

The dishes were delicious. We had the couscous Royal and Tagine Riad, both the delicious absolutely decadent and so flavorful. My personal favourite was the tagine riad, the sauce was so rich and perfectly spiced, the chicken so perfectly cooked, soft and melts in your mouth. We will definitely be coming back again and highly recommend this place for anyone wanting to try good Moroccan food. A must Try!!!

Absolutely great flavors, no unnecessary adjustments to suit European palates, sumptuous, rustic cuisine with good ingredients and the necessary time investment. Truly one of the best meals we've ever had. The only flaw: something needs to be invested in the location again. From the outside you wouldn't think that you would be served such quality here, as the billboards are pretty much showing signs of age. When you enter, the very small restaurant initially seems cramped and slightly kitsch. The chairs are a little wobbly. Dear restaurant operators: Treat your work to an environment that is appropriate in terms of quality. Of course, there is no need: here you have to make a reservation or be lucky to get a place, because the few places are quickly taken. So, bottom line: clear recommendation if you simply want to eat excellent food.

The tagines are a poem. I've eaten a few in Morocco and this one can easily compete with them. The atmosphere is great and the owner is very nice and has everything under control. Since it is a relatively small restaurant, you should reserve well in advance.

Last Saturday, I had the pleasure of discovering a true little corner of Morocco in Ulm. Upon my arrival, I was warmly welcomed by the owner and his wife, extremely kind, respectful, smiling, and exceptionally generous. Their welcome immediately put me at ease, as if I were coming home. The cuisine was simply exceptional. Each dish had the authentic taste of our country, rich flavors, prepared with love. Tasting the food, I felt like I was instantly transported to Morocco. It reminded me of family meals, the smell of spices in the alleyways, and that human warmth that I miss so much. I miss Morocco very much, but thanks to this wonderful culinary experience, I was able to escape for a few hours. It's more than just a restaurant; it's a true journey of the senses and the heart. I will definitely return, again and again. I highly recommend this place to anyone wishing to discover or rediscover the true flavors of Morocco, in a friendly and sincere atmosphere.✨

My bad review only refers to the worst reception of my life in this restaurant by a very unfriendly, rude man. He said: It is forbidden to let me in. I'm in Ehingen on business and wanted to eat Moroccan food. I drove an extra half hour and was rudely thrown out This is not a discotheque. They should only write for families or couples or certain guests. So everyone shows their character and upbringing. There are plenty of other restaurants in Ulm.

Moroccan Restaurant We drove from Stuttgart to Ulm to try out this restaurant with a Moroccan flair. It's a small restaurant, but the reception was humble and friendly, with a nice smile from the restaurant manager. The freshly prepared food was hot and delicious. The restaurant owner and his wife cook with their own hands. Cleanliness is a given and the dishes served are very similar to those in Morocco. Of course, there is also a selection of sweets, juices and, most importantly, tea. The restaurant manager is also the head chef. He promised to give me a nice printed t-shirt with an advertisement for the restaurant on it next time.

one of the best restaurants in the city. It's very authentic, the food was just incredibly tasty and the owner is attentive and very friendly. We talked in arabic and german but he speaks other languages as well. We were 4 people and paid around 100€ and it was worth it. Definitely can recommend, and drink the mint tea!
